No, the PROBLEM is that I booked for 3 nights, 11/8/ 2025 check in and check out on 11/11/2025.
At Check in I was told that on 11/10/2025 I would have to park my Vehicle somewhere in town ( OFF PROPERTY ) Because they were going to resurface the ENTIRE Parking lot at 8am.
I was NEVER informed of that prior to Booking, if I would have been, I would have made other accommodations.
Expedia tried MULTIPLE times to contact the Manager, with no answer.
So Now Expedia said they made multiple unsuccessful tries. So im out $ 150 for the day, that I couldnt stay there.

i drove to Oak View for a weekend. attracted by the images of the accommodations, i booked a one-person room. i looked forward to getting in, kicking off my shoes, and putting up my feet on the coffee table and stretching out on the couch before going to Ojai.
then i arrived. the man working behind the desk was sitting in the guest area. he was on his phone, texting someone. he wasn't in a uniform. he had no name tag. just a guy near a desk... then he told me that he was actually the maintenance man and that he was moonlighting at the front desk. huh? strike #1.
when i checked in, it appeared there were ample vacancies. i could've been given any room. yet, i soon learned that i'd been put next to a guy who insisted on whooping (literally, the dude was *whoop*-ing) at a video game or something. this he did for hours... strike #2.
but when i saw the room, i'd knew i'd been deceived. it was half the size of the \"1 Bed\" picture. it had no couch and no coffee table for my feet. in fact, it had nothing except for a desk, one chair, a dresser and a bed. they'd charged me an elevated rate for a closet-sized, glorified motel room! i ONLY checked in because of how the room was depicted... but it couldn't have been less luxurious.
a sort of hotelier's bait-and-switch? strike #3. you're out.
La Quinta would've been cheaper. the room would've been bigger and they would show me what it really looks like. i should've gone there... and i HATE La Quinta.

so we are local and had to stay due to tenting our house. we asked after 1200 if we could check in and were told under NO circumstances could we do that until after 1500. How hard would it be to have them clean our room a bit earlier?

The staff here is very nice and accommodating. I did not want to pay $500 to stay in Ojai but was coming for an event there and this place was only 10 minutes away. check in was easy and fast, parking was ample and conveniently located by room. Fresh cookies while I waited to check in. The room was very clean and quiet and had everything I needed. I hung out by the pool for about an hour and there was no one else there which was great. It is actually a very large jacuzzi (not a pool) so water is warm but it is nicely decorated with 2 lounge chairs and sitting area as well. Check out was super fast. For the price this hotel was perfect for what I needed. You can also walk to a market and a few restaurants from here so that is very convenient.

This is a lovely property in Oak Ridge, just outside of Ojai. It’s very spartan but wonderful in every way. My absolute favorite part was the large jacuzzi! With 50 degree weather, it was awesome to get warm and feel those strong jets, especially after the hiking I did. Thank you!

I had a comfortable stay at the Oakridge Inn while attending the Storytelling Festival in Oaji with my sister, who stayed in the room next to me. I appreciated that I could stay just one night, while many hotels in the area only offered weekend stays for this event.

Good stay if you want to be close to Ojai but can't find anything in Ojai for a good price. Place is nice enough; average motel feel. Bed was ok but overall place was clean and convenient. Shower was also decent. Heat got so hot had to turn it off! It got cold at night though so had to have the heat on. Overall would stay again for easy access to Ojai but not a place that I would rave about. Ample parking; not much to walk around nearby. Definitely need a car to get around!

This a nice little inn. The price was reasonable. The office closes at 10 pm, but the receptionist was great when I called and agreed to stay an extra 15 minutes to meet me there to check in after 10 pm. The fridge in my room had been accidentally unplugged, so I couldn't use that when I checked in and the fact that is was a little smelly inside was a bit disappointing. This seemed to be an accident, which is understandable, but perhaps they should check the rooms before people check in to be sure that everything is working/clean.

I did let the front desk know, hopefully the next person don't have to go through this, and the hotel will do a better cleaning to get rid of dead bugs, spiderwebs and fix the ripped shower curtains. The carpet is unsavable.
We were ready to just leave the place but already paid $200 didn't want to start look for an other one and spend more for the same night. We just stayed and kept our street clothes on, and washed everything when we get home.
