Very basic room, but was clean and a great deal. Low water pressure but water got super hot. Basic bar of soap, so bring your own. Thin walls so bring earplugs, recommend asking for second floor. Maid service did come daily which was nice. Only pool, no hot tub. Lots of parking.

We stayed for my son’s graduation so did not have a great choice of affordable hotels. It’s pretty basic but clean. Disappointed the pool was not heated. Close to freeway and the main area of the city for shopping and eateries.

If you want more amenities you’ll be paying triple the cost at the nearby hotels. This hotel is perfect for a 1 or 2 night stay.

The room was not cleaned properly. The shower had black mold. No hair dryer in room. You would need to ask front desk for it and they didn’t have anymore to offer the night of our stay. Hair dryers are a basic amenity and they didn’t even have one. Sheets were stained. Towels were old and scratchy. One towel even had a hair embedded in the fibers. Room smelled moldy. Will not stay here again.

It was a great inexpensive option for the UCSB graduation. However, the walls are extremely thin and we will able to hear our neighbors conversations clearly. Furthermore, they were pot smokers and we did not enjoy the smell.

The staff were all professional and friendly. Hospitality was excellent!

The only negative thing I experienced was the slow moving roach I killed shortly before bedtime. Had a little trouble getting to sleep. But, my tiredness got the beat of me.

If you are here to stay in your room all day, this review is not for you. If you are here to have a decently priced home base for day trips to Ojai, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and beyond, AND to explore Carpinteria, THIS is yoyr place. Comfortable beds. Fridge and microwave. Good pressure in shower. Great place to crash and to occasionally watch movies while recuperating from hikes and walkabouts.

It looks like this hotel was recently converted from a Motel 6 and they're still working out a few of the kinks. The staff were the best part of the experience, the guy working the night check-in desk on May 23rd was juggling a lot while still being very kind and professional. Then again, a few people's rooms got cancelled on them because we were showing up too late (11:30pm), which I wasn't a fan of. The room was nice enough, but the key card to get into the room failed even though I made sure to care for it extremely well. Overall, it was an affordable stay for the area and memorial day weekend, but not amazing. I hope the new independent ownership takes it in a good direction.

You can change the name but it is still a Motel 6. Booked a queen a day before arrival. We were given 2 double beds. My husband hates to complain, so we didn’t move rooms. The bathroom was dirty, the room was smelly and had previous tenants trash. We kept the window open all night so that helped to air the room out a bit. On the positive, it was quiet

It’s a Motel 6. One of the better ones in the area. Nice pool area and view from the second floor. Plenty of parking and the A/C is very strong. Room was pretty clean but the little room with the shower and toilet could use a coat of paint and a replacement tub.

Short walk to a grocery store, pharmacy and a few restaurants/shops. Overall one of the better Motel 6s I’ve stayed at.

Staff could be a little more polite but they’re not the worst.

The lady in the front desk Sarana , cancelled my hotel reservation and pretend I did not have a reservation and made me book all again for the arrival night for a higher price. I did it because It was late in the night.

When I spoke to Sandra an excellent front desk staff in the morning shift, she figured out that she found my reservation and the night shift lady did a mistake.

The supervisor Sebastian argues and would NOT process my reservation as-is instead want to keep the higher price.

This place is a night mare, and people were smoking and yelling in the nights.
