I wouldn't have expected a free bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge or high end toiletries, robes, and a digital vanity mirror at a place like this. Everything was above and beyond our expectations including the receptionists' warm welcome. Despite being a bit limited in physical size of the serving area, their breakfast buffet included tasty vanilla yoghurt with real berries and a nice selection of pastries. I did not like the egg fritters but that is a personal choice. The mattress was on the soft side but other than that the room was comfortable. The a/c is a bit loud but it does have a fan speed adjustment. The fridge was nice and cold. Lots of charging stations and outlets for all kinds of electronics... I would definitely stay here again.

I think it’s a great location. But the rooms need updating. The bed was especially disappointing and shouldn’t be used as it was sagging and pillows need updating. They doubled the rate because it was graduation weekend and frankly we deserved better. Shame on greed.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Mickey at check-in. He was incredibly helpful, offering dining suggestions and providing a general orientation to the area. He was so personable and friendly, which made a great start to our stay.

The room was large and very clean. The beds were comfortable. We used the pool/hot tub, and both were well-maintained and clean, as was the general pool area. Pool towels are available. The complimentary breakfast was a nice extra - nothing fancy, but certainly enough to get the day started.

The property was well-maintained and fairly centrally located. There were benches outside each room and nice plants/greenery throughout the center of the property. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again and would recommend the property to others.

The room was clean and the overall property is nice but the specific room I was given as a VIP Expedia had to be the worst: at the end near the street; noisy; shower wouldn’t turn off; hairdryer kept turning off; TV started on its own at 5:56am. Parking was full and I had to park way at the back in an area that felt unsafe. On the good side the breakfast was acceptable with egg bites, oatmeal, bread bagels, cereal, coffee, juice.

Loved the cheese crackers and wine and the cookies and milk at night. Arron was super helpful at the start and told us all of the places to visit. Loved that we could get dvds and rent bikes for free! Would stay here again!

Everything was lovely. From check in to last breakfast we had a great stay. It was quiet, the rooms were big enough to store our E-bikes when not riding. There was a good size mini fridge. Bedding was soft. The breakfast was a little carb heavy but there were yummy egg bites available each day. Close to everything on our bikes, but a bit off the main area if walking. Would 10/10 recommend for SB visitors.

A nice stay! The staff were very friendly and upgraded us to the king suite/second floor and it was very nice! Amazing and big kitchen/suite area. Lots of space. Bathroom was also pretty good. No central AC but they did have an AC unit was right next to the bed which can be hard to sleep next to when its on. Not a hotel but a very nice inn! I also appreciate the breakfast and happy hour food/drinks.

The inn is not really “at the harbor”, but it is very quiet and well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good — oatmeal, yogurt, little frittatas, etc. We did not use the pool, but many guests enjoyed it. The landscaping is beautiful.

Here is my review, now I gave it 5 stars on everything. Was it a big $$$ resort? No , not at all. Our room was a little dated but it was nice for us. I do know they have better rooms but we only really slept there. We wanted to see Santa Barbra so our time there was limited. Morning continental breakfast was nice but nothing too special. We wanted to visit local restaurants anyway. The staff are very hard working!!! Thank you !!! The courtyard and pool area are beautiful. The front desk gentleman in the afternoon was very friendly and helpful. The property is walking distance to most things. It’s not on the beach but that’s ok. It was worth staying here. I will definitely return if visiting Santa Barbra. It maybe worth booking directly through them. Do your homework and price comparisons. Thank you

The outside is cute and it is a good location but our room needed to be redone. There are no bathroom toiletries provided so make sure you bring what you need. I saw an open room that had nice plank flooring like the photos but ours had old carpet and the room was just old & depressing. It did have a little kitchen but we didn’t use it. They also provide a little happy hour with wine & cheese. We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast but I believe it was pastry’s. I just think for the money our room was not worth it, but maybe some of the other rooms are.

The Inn by The Harbor was definitely cute and adorable. It was an older, well maintained hotel with a daily fresh and simple breakfast and afternoon chocolate chip cookies. The reason I scored it 3 stars was because on the last morning I was there I found a bug crawling in my sheets. Eeek! Needless to say, I jumped out of bed; grabbed a tissue to grab the bug and flushed it down the toilet. Good thing it was my last morning there after the bug experience. I don't think I could have slept there another night.

We were able to check in early. We arrived a couple of hours before check in time and the desk agent was very accommodating to let us in early and also change our room from an upstairs to a downstairs. The room was very clean, comfortable and well stocked with toiletries and even a bottle of sparkling wine. The hotel hosts a nice wine, cheese and warm cookies every afternoon at 4:30. The breakfast is a typical hotel breakfast, ample but not great. The beach and piers are within walking distance as are several nice restaurants. A good, convenient and very nice hotel.

Nice motor type resort with pool, spa and bikes available to ride around town. The view out our window was odd, the other side into the courtyard was pleasant and felt tropical. Visited by raccoons last night, they were friendly, like the staff... :)

This place is fantastic. Of course it’s not a five star high-end hotel but it’s great if he has sex nice and clean perfect continental breakfast nice wine and cheese in the afternoon we love it. We’ll be back. We’ll be in there twice already.

Glad we had room on garden side that was quiet. Clean and spacious room. Nice grounds. Pool and spa were inviting but too bad we didn’t have time to use them. Breakfast was good - oatmeal, frittatas etc - but the few tables were taken so we perched on a sofa to eat.

small, quaint hotel perfect for what we did which was just a quick 2 day stop in Santa Barbara. The wine and cheese in the afternoons and the breakfast in the mornings were a perfect (free!) way to kick off the afternoons or mornings. The staff was very friendly.

The hotel was old but our room had been recently refreshed. The beds, linens, towels and A/C were all very nice. The downfall was that the room and bathroom really needed to have ceiling fans or some type of ventilation; the rooms felt very humid especially after showering. The breakfast was good with a variety of items and the pastries offered each morning were freshly made and delicious.

The property was decent and everything worked but it definitely needs an update. Our room door didn’t seal well and we had a couple of insects getting in, and the carpeting is old. The mirror in the bathroom had water marks and the shower door leaked a bit as well.
The immediate block is sketchy, but it’s a very short walk to everything from this Inn. Lots of sightseeing and great restaurants were easily accessible.
The breakfast was basic continental style but there were plenty of options, and the happy hour 4:30-6:30pm of wine, cheese/crackers was fine.

This hotel is very charming and well maintained. It has a gorgeous garden filled with flowers and greenery, a quiet pool and hot tub, and the rooms are spacious and updated. Each unit has a kitchen and a table. Breakfast is also very good, as it ferra a pretty good variety of food, The location is a very short drive to downtown, or a 15 min walk.

This was a short overnight trip for my son and me. We enjoyed our stay at Inn by the Harbor because it was a very beautiful hotel. It was small but the patio area was beautiful. Our room also had a very cute and well stocked kitchen which sadly we did not use. The bedroom and bathroom were a very comfortable size. There were also restaurants with in walking distance! Next time I want to go with my husband!
