Staff really knows what Hospitality stands for! They were all exceptional!
Rooms are clean, only issue is that mold was obvious in the bathroom and I could smell it. I am very sensitive to it. Perhaps using a mold remover when cleaning it. Other than that I just had to ensure I had allergy and sinus meds.
Parking was easy and always found a spot.
The complimentary breakfast was very very good, options were awesome.

The check in staff are fabulous. We have stayed here many times and just love the evening crew. In addition to the location, the rooms, happy hour, pool and breakfast are all top notch. This being said, on this stay the check out clerk in the morning was a different story. Rude and abrasive. Hopefully this was a one off and next time will be back to its stellar reputation. Will report the experience to management.

We were in room 115, huge room. King bed very comfy, linen a little scratchy. Bathroom was huge too. Shower was delightful. Great hot water. Breakfast was delicious with excellent choices on the buffet menu. Hotel staff very helpful with directions and sightseeing. Pool and area clean lounge chairs were comfy.
Our room back up to construction going on so it was noisy during the day. Street level room was very noisy waking us up at 6am. Garbage truck and delivery trucks for the Restaurant next door noisy too. We were also near a guest bathroom and vending room in the hall way-noisy too.

We had a pleasant stay, but there are some things from a woman's point of view to be aware of if you decide to stay here. What little light they do have in the room is very dim. The vanity lights aren't good at all and the vanity itself is very small. So if you're on a girl's trip, just be aware that you should bring your own mirror with a light, you won't have much space to get ready and there aren't any other outlets next to the other mirror.

We stayed at this hotel for five nights. During our stay, we requested housekeeping on nights 2 and 4; however, on night 4 the service was missed and never completed. After a long day out, we returned late to find our room still dirty. We had to request at least clean towels, since a full cleaning was no longer available at that hour.
Overall, the rooms could use an update. The carpets, while not visibly dirty, are quite old and make the space feel worn. The rooms definitely need some TLC.
The breakfast included in the rate is exactly the same every single day. For longer stays, this becomes repetitive very quickly. It would be great if they could rotate the options at least every couple of days. The same goes for the wine, cheese, and grapes offered to guests—it’s a nice touch, but also identical each day.
On a positive note, the staff is friendly and respectful, and the location is great, with a beautiful ocean view just across the street.

Great long weekend in Santa Barbara at Beachside Inn. Staff was. Try friendly and always able to answer questions. Construction above our room was loud and shook the walls. At 5:00 am our smoke detector started chirping. I went to the front desk and asked about it. He wasn’t able to resolve it, offered earplugs! 8:30 reported it again. They said they would fix it. Left for several hours and it was still chirping! Finally got it fixed at 11:30.

From well before Check-in, the communication from the hotel was great! They reached out several times to inquire about anticipated arrival time, any needs, and so forth. The room was so nice, and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean, the towels amazing and plentiful, and all the toiletries one might need. Too bad I was only booked for 1 night. I loved the Happy Hour in the lobby, and the breakfast provided was probably the best hotel complimentary breakfast I've ever had (I selected eggs, chicken sausage, pork sausage, yogurt with fresh blueberries and a banana I sliced, great hot coffee). I saw many other breakfast choices as well. The location directly across the street from the beach and the running path was ideal. It was a very short walk to the Harbor for great restaurant dinner choices. Parking was easy in and out, and free. All staff wwre friendly and helpful. I absolutely loved my stay and will book again. The rate was incredible for the area, as beach hotels here can get pricey. All in all, 10/10.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights mid week - just a quick little getaway. Location was great - right across from the water and right off the freeway. Lots of restaurants etc near by. Staff was super friendly - they even called to let me know that I had left something on the room. They also let us check in early - when we called they said no but when we arrived our room was ready hours early. The bed was super comfortable, the bath tub was big, water was hot, room was clean. Nice amenities in the room - slippers, water bottles, coffee, mini fridge, seating area and even seating on the balcony. We didn’t get up in time for breakfast. Only downside was the pool was not heated but it was beautiful. Lots of parking!

Place is clean and well kept. I didn’t expect the junior sweet to be a full bedroom. But it was a full bed not a queen. The bed was not horrible, but it was also not comfortable as it was creaky and not very soft. Walls are very thin. You could hear every noise as well as conversations from other units.
