Front desk attendant was exceptionally attentive. Room was clean. Air conditioner was needed and it worked quickly and well. Plenty of parking. I will say: the shower was strange. I get why it is set up the way it is (points water towards the corner to avoid spilling out onto the floor and is probably easier to clean), but it made for a uncomfortable experience. Not something to dock rating stars over, but I had to say something.

Much nicer motel 6 than my previous experiences, very easy and friendly check-in, I liked the layout of the room and the seating options. Only downside was the shower drained very slowly creating a pool of water pretty fast. I only stayed one night and was able to shower so wasn’t a major issue. Water took a long time to heat up.

The room was clean but not well space-planned. There was only one bedside table for two beds. The bathroom had empty space yet there was minimal space in the main room. The walls were very thin. We listened to our neighbors fighting and snoring. The connecting door let in too much noise and the smell of smoke from the adjoining room. There was plenty of parking, and we felt safe staying there.

Front desk person was great. Dot. She’s a gem. Everything else about the stay was painful. Guests partying to literally 3 and 4 in the morning. Office couldn’t/wouldn’t do anything. They had music blaring, running and screaming. It went on all night until about 430 AM. Everyone I spoke with - we were in town for a youth sports tourney - was woken up repeatedly by them as well.

In addition to not sleeping, the beds were horribly uncomfortable. Cold shower. Cold pool. And something with the integration between Motel 6 and Hotels.com didn’t work so check in took close to an hour.

So I had reasonable expectations for a Motel 6. I just wanted a hot shower and a place to get some sleep. It did not meet those expectations.

But as I said, promote Dot at check-in. She’s the best thing this place has going in terms of warmth, empathy and professional customer service.

The room was good as far as getting the job done for a one night stay with my kids in the area. The bed was SO COMFORTABLE! I want to know the mattress brand!

The room was dated and the shower was definitely not comfy- more like an RV shower.
