Beautiful property, rooms are very comfortable but honestly not worth the money. Area has changed and the hotel caters to a different set of guests these days and it feels like the place has lost its charm and more focused on shopping/retail.

Be welcomed with hostility throughout the property.
Valet will give you anxiety shouting and yelling at you.
Check in is a long wait.
Restaurant hostess just stare at you with no welcome.
Servers just don’t care and throw the tableware.
Nobody is properly trained on this property.
Best part is you pay the exorbitant price and receive terrible service and suffer from terrible food quality.
The unique noise of hearing a super fast and loud train passing by and rumbling the entire property, our room is so far from the train track already but you still can hear it honking its horns every time!

Tar / oil in sand/ carpet: needs customer service

Beautiful property with greenery annd LISC landscaping.A lot of potential.guests brought own music to the pool (competing genres and loud thumping was not environment we expected for the overwhelming price. Not relaxing, staff reluctant to request guests turn off or use earphones. No communication on beach issue / staff not raking tar oil line left by tides to minimize STICKINESS on guest feet. They had oil slick wipes although not enough and didn’t offer to the 12 people I saw in 20 min get major gunk on feet /shoes etc. Beautiful although expect more customer service for this price point!

Food amazing although prices high and portions tiny just because. We were charged for beach bill that was not ours and reception took it off at check out time & apologized. Town car shuttle to / from restaurants in town was busy so we used Uber several times.

The property is so beautiful. Mix in the friendliness of staff. Valet service and luggage assistance excellent and friendly service. Shop people and bartender not so much. They need additional training on how to provide top notch service by being attentive and welcoming. Bartender saw that we sat down but continued spending 10 minutes with other guests when he could’ve at minimum acknowledge us and let us know he will be right with us…something?! Oh ans they started cleaning up for closing 45 min before. Like they couldn’t wait??!!

Shop by registration was the worse service ever. No greeting or ask if they can assist. Should close the doors when they close up or put up a sign. Instead of a rush of moving/rolling racks away!

Do not like that we had to wait 15 minutes for an iron and ironing board. Just put them in the room!!

The property is so beautiful even with a few bad points, I can't take away the excellent rating. Definitely highly recommend!

This hotel lives up to every single excellent review. Absolutely beautiful and beyond five star service. As an example I have my dog Hunter with me and practically everyone on the entire staff knew my dogs name and greeted us when we walked by. Incredible staff, amenities and grounds and I hope to return one day when I can afford more than one night ! It was heavenly though!

Was denied a reservation in Carpenteria. Since I booked on Hotels.com, they were able to substitute to Rosewood-Miramar. I was only staying for the night but was treated as a valued longtime guest. The service was impeccable. From the valets in front to the front desk to bell service guy who drove me to my room, I was given the full VIP treatment. Thank to everyone at this wonderful hotel, I really enjoyed my short time spent there. Try the Rosewood-Miramar the next time your in Montecito and experience world class service.

Our visit to Rosewood Miramar

This is a beautiful resort with friendly, helpful staff. It is an immaculate facility. Criticism is mainly about food - dinner was average in the main restaurant, menu not very creative and there did not seem to be a reasonably priced breakfast option - how about coffee, fresh fruit and pastries outdoors near the beautiful pool?
Check out issue was related to being locked out of room at 11:45 when we wanted one more check of the room and bathroom stop before a 2-hr drive home! We understood check out was at noon. Valet parking staff was excellent.

Rosewood Miramar is a beautiful property and management goes out of their way to keep it that way. What I did not like about the visit is the lack of daily room service, you had to request room service. For the price you would expect but I also put it down to being short staffed. Confirming things did not always happen, again I think this was a matter of being short staffed and just getting back into the swing of things after opening up. I'd still recommend this place it's beautiful and wished we had booked a third night.

First off, Beautiful resort, right off the highway, but when on property you feel like your on a private secluded resort. We stayed for. 4days/3nights. All the Resturants were great, had an amazing Bday dinner at Curaso’s. The pool and gym situation during these Covid times where kind of a bummer tho and those are my favorite amenities, besides food of course! Maybe if I go again post Covid, it will have a lil better feel. The Four Seasons is under remodel around the corner from them, maybe that’s why they were a lil busy too. But i would love to go back again after all this Covid Madness!

The service at Rosewood was impeccable. They upgraded our room, allowed early check-in and late check-out at 4pm. The property is beautifully decorated for the holiday season and is easily accessible to the beach. All the details are well thought-out and attended to. Among all, I would say the staff made the strongest impression on me. They sincerely cared about providing the utmost care and attention to their guests which I had received. Because of this, I plan to return again in the near future.

Amazing getaway

We needed to get out of town for a night and, since the Four Seasons Biltmore is closed for renos, decided to try the Rosewood Miramar. It was absolutely gorgeous in that comfortable-Americana Caruso style we're all used to by now. The staff was lovely, the beach was great, and we'll definitely come back. Only tiny deduction was for a not-very-clean rug and for not posting what their covid cleaning standards are. But I'm nit-picking. It was great!

Hotel is amazing! Grounds are really beautiful. Service was mostly really good. Felt nickel and dimed though. First morning we were there I went to go find a latte for my wife. I asked around and they said that the only option was in room dining which cost $20 plus tip. Seemed a little ridiculous to me. We went off site for breakfast and coffee the rest of the time.

No other complaints than that. Really enjoyed the beach, pool and fitness center (two Pelotons).

For the cost of the high end resort, we did not see the value of the service. The cost is high to stay, but there was not much included. Food cost is very high for the quality, quantity, and service you get which is not reflective of said cost. A drink was provided to us with a cracked glass that was noticed after the drink pinched my friend's lip. Instead of providing a new glass with a new drink, it appeared they just provided the remainder of the drink in a new glass. Not what you would expect for a 5 star experience. The resort itself is beautiful/well presented and the room was very comfortable. We've stayed at other resorts that cost less and have provided a better experience. I would have to recommend to others to look elsewhere as you will find a better experience if you are planning a resort stay in or near Santa Barbara.
