Very limited hotel parking, 1 handicap spot. Found a space on the road, up the hill, 2 blocks away in front of a church.
This is a hotel for training hotel staff. Everyone friendly and tried to be helpful but some mistakes happen and language issues (English).
Pool has been removed.
Other than dining in hotel only one other restaurant within walking distance.
Overall very acceptable spot.

Nice hotel with a lovely big room and a great view. Very clean and modern on top floor. Breakfast good and evening meal was good value. Only down side was that on our stay they were doing renovations and there was no electricity from 10am till 4pm. But l guess it will all be fixed and hotel refurbished soon.

I will definitely come back to this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. We had a great view from the room to the garden. It’s a shame that the jacuzzi was not open late at night. Too hot during the day!

Great hotel, great food (waiter service for dinner), fantastic staff, not many people there during our stay (January). Breakfast limited and not hot.

In essence this is a school/college for Spanish tourism students owned by the Spanish government.

Only problem is the hotel boarders the main GC15, which is very busy but does go quiet 12am-6am. Go for a balcony/terrace room. top rooms are claustrophobic.

My stay was great. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was amazing. Room was incredible and very clean. Bed was comfortable and easy to fall asleep. I would highly recommend the hotel. It is an amazing place to stay. The staff is excellent and go above and beyond to be helpful.

Definitely NOT a 4 Star hotel

Stayed only 1 night (thankfully!) Lots of the fittings in the room broken & room generally in a poor state of repair including chipped toilet seat, blocked sink & ants crawling around. My son’s valance had greasy stains on it & bedding was marked with stains. I complained before we left for the afternoon, on our return, nothing had been done. Called down to reception & the same lady I’d spoken to before snapped that she’d told me there was no one who could sort it out until the morning (which she definitely hadn’t said) & that she could probably get me some clean linen but I’d have to change the dirty sheets myself! I asked to change rooms so had to repack and move myself and my sleepy 10 year old son, at 10.30pm.
New room was cleaner but still chipped toilet seat, cracked chair, marks on walls and a dangerous broken plug socket. Also a horrendous smell coming from the bathroom & still saw a few ants crawling around.
I contacted hotel.com customer services after we left who called the hotel & asked them to refund a portion of my payment but the hotel flat out refused.
I read lots of comments praising the breakfast which was limited in choice & okay at best. We also ate at the hotel the night before (as there was little open in the area.) 1 waiter working in the restaurant who was pretty rude. We were given a set menu with 2 options for each course & no prices. My main and dessert were very poor! Poor hotel run by people who care little about their guests. Regret booking!

Great hotel and in a good location within easy access to Las Palmas for eating and shopping. The only regret was the dinner menu wasn't what we expected and if we asked for an alternative there was no flexibility. The botanical gardens within the hotel grounds was pleasant.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and modern, the bed and pillows were great, and the breakfast was just an amazing experience. Location in the middle of the nature and very close to a nice botanic garden. I would come again for sure.

A lovely hotel, well located with great food.

We stayed here for 2 nights over Christmas. The hotel is lovely and the rooms exceeded our expectations. We had a large terraces with sun loungers and a table and chairs. The staff are extremely friendly and the service is very good. We had a problem with the lock on our room door on arrival and we had several members of staff helping us within minutes. We were half-board and paid a supplement to have a Christmas meal. The food was very good, both morning and night. Our bathroom smelt a bit when we arrived, but we were able to keep the window open which helped.
There are buses into Las Palmas from a stop across the road, a spar supermarket on the corner and a couple of restaurants nearby.
We would definitely recommend this hotel. We very much enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Not great for a long stay, but ok for short stay

The best thing about the hotel was the restaurant food at a very reasonable price, the breakfast was ok. There were no BBC/UK channels on the room's satellite TV, and you took your life in your hands walking from the hotel down the main street as there are no pavements (but this is out of the hands of hotel) - therefore no TV or evening stroll made our stay rather dull, luckily we had a hire car to explore north of the island. There was a large balcony/terrace (which didn't appear to be swept daily) which was quite relaxing apart from the traffic noise (which is out of the hands of the hotel). All in all, for us, I don't think the hotel would merit a week's stay, but would be very fine for an odd night en route to the airport maybe, as it is quite close.

A watch which room you book

This is a reasonably nice hotel in a good location, there is parking on three sides of the hotel just off a main through road. We made a mistake not booking a garden view room and so had a room over looking the rear yard which proved noisey either from people, deliveries and electric fans. This was made worse by the floodlight shining over this area at night.
The room was clean and tidy the bathroom was tired and water leaked from the shower black mould around the bath seal and window really not kept clean.
The beds were as hard as concrete and the air con didn't work. Unfortunately on floor 1 we could hear all the toilets flushing above us any movement in the rooms above echoed through as did people walking on the stairs and corridor. It's not a quiet hotel by any means.
The breakfast was good if you were down early by about 8ish much later the majority of food was gone and they didn't seems to keep it topped up.
What's really worrying I suppose that this is a hotel school and they don't seem to grasp the concept of people on holiday needing to relax having room service knocking on the door at 8am to make up the room can't be right. I also think that the German lectures slagging off the English need to be mindful of who can hear and understand rather than just think we all all dumb bear drinkers

Nice, but food choice poor.

I was on half board. The set dinner menu for a vegetarian was very poor. Its very surprising that, as a hotel school, the food was not more 'healthy' with a better choice. Otherwise a nice quiet place to stay and easy to get to by bus from Las Palmas. Its a shame there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

On a golfing holiday, the hotel is very convenient for golf courses. Evening meals very good & very reasonably priced, however breakfast could do with better organisation.....buffet was allowed to run out before being topped up, however staff are pleasant and helpful. Other restaurants & bars in walking distance.

Great hotel with good transport links

The hotel is in a great location and is only about 20 minutes from the airport. It will cost you around €30 to get from the airport to the hotel. The breakfast buffet is great there is a wide range of pastries, fruits, youghurts and traditional continental breakfast. You can request to order something from the set menu that will be made fresh, but be sure to ask as it wasn't always offered.

The hotel does have a local supermarket close by and a few cafe's and resteraunts. However, if you are not booked into a suite room you will not access to a mini fridge. So no chilled water and food, which is a huge disadvantage if you don't want to spend a ton of money on food.

The hotel at the wifi is extremely poor. It will work for basic needs such as WhatsApp, but for browsing the web, updating social media and streaming video it's an absolute nightmare. The pub oppposite to the hotel has great wifi as an alternative.

The rooms are very clean and well decorated. The maids change your sheets every 2 days and were kind enough to spray down my room for mosquitoes when I requested.

The reception staff are extremely lovely. Especially Christina who helped us sort out our Safari tour pick up by calling the company on our behalf. They all are very helpful and can speak English very well.

Not Bad, But Won't Stay Here Again...

Overall, not a bad stay. The staff was helpful and attentive to any requests that we had. We received an upgraded room so that we didn't have to wait too long to check-in. It turned out to be VERY spacious. We appreciated that. The breakfast was subpar, but it met the goal (not to be hungry). We didn't eat dinner there because it was a little expensive, so we went across the street to a restaurant that served pretty good meals. Our major complaint was the INTERNET. There were sometimes that the internet was so slow that I thought that I was back in 1995 trying to sign onto AOL. The staff was aware of the sluggish internet, but made no apologies about it. Please also know that this place is AWAY from most of the things that would be of interest, including beaches. Free airport shuttle, but you will still spend about 15 euros+ on a taxi just to get out of the secluded area. Lastly, if you are planning to use the gym, please know that the gym is EXTREMELY outdated. I think that the bikes and treadmill were at least 20 years old. There is no elliptical machine. There are plenty of free weights and a very GOOD sauna. I wouldn't stay here again because of how secluded the area was, but it wasn't a really bad experience.

Lovely buiding and view over the valley from our 2nd floor balcony. Generally good service but some disappointing aspects. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. Pool not heated and mostly in shade so doesn't benefit from sun warming! Restaurant initially looked good until we discovered there were no vegetarian main course options. No bar but the bar across the road was good. Excellent food in the restaurant slightly further along the road - La Bodeguita dCoello

Birthday getaway!

We stayed to celebrate a birthday. The staff were very attentive and kindly gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. The food was very good and the service in at dinner excellent. We made full use of the gym and the outdoor pool which wasn't heated but as it was the end of July it was warm enough. The town of Santa Brigida, just up the road was lovely as was the botanical garden we visited.

Was impressed with how the room was laid out and the cleanliness of it. The Hotel looked good from the outside and inside. However, I and my family did not good night's sleep due to noise of air conditioning, a stupid light that came on at night in room (We had to tape over it) and the beds were not comfortable.

It was hot when we stayed and disappointed that a 4 Star Hotel did not give water complimentary. The Breakfast was disappointing as no hot food at all. The eggs / bacon were put in cold containers well away from the Kitchen and simply went cold quickly.

The views of the Hills surrounding Hotel was impressive but it is near a busy road and parking is not guaranteed.
There was a local man who kept shouting \"Puta\" to virtually everything at all hours to anyone who would listen and unfortunately that did include most of the Hotel.

It should be mentioned,however, that when arriving at this hotel travellers with suitcases request their transport/taxis to go to the rear entrance/fire exit to avoid the 59 steps that take you to the front entrance / reception. The steps are quite manageable once you have no suitcases to lug up with you.

Het ontbijt was vers en goed verzorgd. De kamer was schoon maar er was een onaangename geur in de badkamer. Er zijn maar een klein aantal parkeerplaatsen beschikbaar voor hotelgasten maar parkeren in de omgeving is vaak mogelijk binnen zo'n 200 meter van het hotel.

Es gibt keinen Hotelparkplatz und auch so gut wie keine Plätze rundherum. An manchen Tagen mussten wir bis zu 1km weit irgendwo parken.
Es gibt keinerlei englische oder deutsche Fernsehsender und Nachrichten.
Frühstück am Wochenende erst ab 08.00 Uhr.
In einem 4Sterne Hotel entspricht das nicht dem Standard.
Auch das Frühstücksbuffet nicht. Es gab kein Brot oder Toast nur 2 Brötchensorten.

die Zimmer sind renovierungsbedürftig aber es passiert ohnehin momentan etwas im Hotel.
Das Frühstücks Buffett wurde nur auf Nachfrage aufgefüllt.
Die Tortilla , das Rührei waren kalt. Die Wärmevorrichtungen bringen gar nichts.
Der Check In hat unglaublich lange gedauert, jeder einzelne Ausweiss wurde aufgenommen und JEDER musste unterschreiben. Die Außenanlage sieht sehr schon aus.

This hotel is near the historical old centre of Santa Brigada, the palm forest, botanical garden and protected nature of Cran Canaria.
With the bus it is near the city las Palmes. Even to walk to the botanical garden is possible.

Nous avons été très agréablement et chaleureusement accueillis par 3 jeunes femmes dont 2 stagiaires. La chambre, spacieuse, lumineuse était bien de niveau 4 étoiles, sauf le lit à ressorts qui mériterait au moins un sûr-matelas. Propreté irréprochable. Petit déjeuner copieux, autant pour le salé que pour le sucré. Dîners pris sur place en demi pension de bon niveau. Service très pro, globalement très agréable et à l’écoute de nos besoins. Bon rapport qualité prix. Pas de parking mais nous avons trouvé une place chaque soir devant l’église à 100 mètres. Nous sommes restés 3 nuits et nous y retournerions.

Lo mejor de este hotel es su ubicación, ya que esta muy cerca de la ciudad y de las salidas tanto como para el sur y para el norte. Destacar también el trato de su jefe de comedor Miguel, un trato muy cercano, amable y de 10. Lo malo: anuncian piscina, incluso en los carteles dentro de las instalaciones y no tienen; teniamos un tercer piso y la habitación llena de hormigas, hasta dos insecticidas gaste en mi paso de 3 días y el no disponer de una mini nevera en la habitación ya que con el calor que hacia no podias ni guardar agua para tener fria. Me esperaba un poco más la verdad.

Eerste aanblik van het hotel was niet positief. Verouderd en niet zo netjes. De kamer maakte veel goed. Heel nette, grote kamer met groot balkon. Het eten was heel lekker en goedkoop. In de buurt, buiten een restaurant aan de overkant, weinig te beleven. Wel heel goede busverbindingen .

Podría haber sido excelente

Todo estaba perfecto , lo único es que el aire acondicionado no lo prenden hasta que sea verano, con lo cual aquellas personas que sufrimos de calor tendrán que abrir las ventanas. De resto todo perfecto.

Hotellikouluna toimiva hotelli jossa on varsin epäselvää kuka talon väestä on opiskelija, kuka opettaja ja kuka muuten vaan hengailemassa paikan päällä.
Sijainti on sopivan syrjäinen matkailijalle joka hakee omaa rauhaa. Sijainti ja hotelli on myös varsin toimiva yritysmatkailijalle joka haluaa järjestää ryhmämatkan ja/tai oman tapahtuman koska hotellissa on runsaasti tiloja tilaisuuksille ja varsin kohtuulliset hinnat.

Tilavat ja siistit huoneet, erinomainen aamiainen ja hyvin toimiva ilmastointi/lämmitys.

HOTEL CON BUENAS INSTALACIONES; EXCELENTE DESAYUNO

Celebramos en el Hotel Escuela Santa Brígida las Navidades 2017. Excelente trato, cena de Navidad inolvidable por abundante y excelente.
Los desayunos muy abundantes y variados, con fruta de temporada y exótica en su momento de madurez.
Trato muy sencillo pero muy amable.

He tenido la habitación 305 ,,, ha tenido un olor desagradable,,, menos mal ,,,,que he pernoctado solo una noche ,,,no podría haberme quedado más noches,,, había pedido una cama de matrimonio y tuve dos camas separadas ,,,,
No se si fue mi suerte dicha habitación,,,, pero no fue agradable,,,,

Hotel muy bien conservado a pesar de su antiguedad

Es un hotel escuela, por lo que ademas del personal /profesores te atienden alumnos. Todos ellos muy amables. Las instalaciones se conservan en muy buen estado a pesar de que los baños son antiguos
con bañera pequeña etc...Pero todo muy limpio y correcto. La habitación tenia un salón, grande y espacioso, pero las camas de 90 de ancho estaban pegadas a los armarios y a la entrada del baño, lo que resulta muy incomodo, ademas del pequeño tamaño de las mismas, para nosotros que somos personas muy grandes. Pedimos un cambio de habitación a otra con camas de mayor tamaño y nos dijeron que no había. que todas eran de 90. El desayuno correcto, quizás algo escaso y no muy variado. Intentamos cenar una noche y no vimos carta, ni menu ni nada, por lo que finalmente decidimos crnar en un restaurante cercano

Nice stay

The hotel was nice. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. The overall experience of us was good. It was cold in the middle of July and the air condition in the room works for only cooling. We felt cold all night.

Personal amable, pero escaso. Habitaciones amplias pero con camas pequeñas, 80 cms las de suite. Mantenimiento escaso con baño pequeño, con falta de luz y mal olor de cañerias y juntas enegrecidas por moho.
WIFI buena calidad. Desayuno buffet
aceptable, aunque siempre lo mismo. A parir de 9,30 falta viandas sin reponer.
En general aceptable, con falta de mantenimiento, le sobra 1 estrella al menos.

Hotel zentral gelegen, schöner kleiner Garten!

Hotel ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber noch sehr gut. Freundliches Personal. Frühstück gut.
Einziger Kritikpunkt: Sehr dünne Wände, somit Lautstärke aus den Fluren deutlich hörbar :-(
Wenig Parkplätze vorm Hotel, aber in Seitenstraße parken möglich,

Trevligt och prisvärt boende med bra frukost.

Gammal skola som fungerar som hotell. Elegant uppdukad frukostmatsal med möjlighet till omelett, äggröra à la minute. Hyggligt frukostutbud även i övrigt. Stora rum. Litet gym med tillgång till bastu, även pool utomhus.
Begränsat med parkering vid hotellet men finns på intilliggande gator.

Cozy and calm hotel up in the mountains

Hotel is locared up in the mountain so don't expect the same weather as on the coast. Friendly service though staff bit lacking in English skills. Room was well cleaned. Breakfast was great with fresh orange juice etc. Some restaurants nearby as well as foodstore, very convenient. You should have a car if staying here. We had no problem finding parking.
