Restaurant Taj was great, beautiful views and great staff and food.
The hotel rooms were good but smaller (for the double beds) than expected. All the staff were very helpful and kind. Great location as well!

The staff is a five-star!! A most friendly and welcoming people always with a smile

I needed a place to stay near the marina for one night before flying out early the next morning. This was perfect. Easy walk from the marina. Comfortable room. Staff was very nice and arranged a taxi to pick me up at 4:30 am to take me to the airport.

The fridge in the room was horrible not working . Where they put the soap in the bathroom was broken and not working . A few cockroaches in the room . The restaurant staff were pretty nice and the area it was located in was great but the actual hotel not the best either could barely get a sea view through the window

Lovely hotel, nice design, super friendly staff. We came on the business trip, I was very happy with the hotel’s internet connection, possibility to work there without a connection worry. Only one down side, very noisy day and night as it is next to the busy road, no soundproofing.

Mini Hotel scam

Arrived at the hotel about 2hrs early, so our room was not ready . OK . So thought we would put luggage in a luggage room . The receptionist then said we do have a room ready but you have to pay 12 euro if you want it . We did pay this as time saved on holiday is a good thing . We booked this hotel last year and it was a very nice room ....This room this time was smaller , a bit noisy as the gym was just above us , we were in this room for 7 nights but didn't want to complain. MY POINT IS THAT THERE WAS A ROOM READY, AS WE WERE IN IT AND FOR 7 NIGHTS, BUT WE WERE CHARGED 12 EUROS EXTRA FOR THIS ROOM. WHY? IT WAS NOT AS GOOD AS THE ROOM WE HAD LAST YEAR.
Anyway we had a fantastic holiday but will not be staying at this hotel again ...Principle . We were charged for a room that was ready .

Disappointing Experience - Noisy Location

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Here's a breakdown of my disappointing stay:

Location: 2/5
The hotel is situated on a noisy street, which significantly impacted the overall comfort of my stay. The constant street noise made it challenging to relax, especially during the night. If you're sensitive to noise, I would recommend looking for alternative accommodations.

Customer Service: 1/5
The level of customer service provided by the staff fell short of expectations. From the moment of check-in to various interactions throughout my stay, I found the staff to be unresponsive and unaccommodating. It's disheartening when the service does not match the hospitality one would expect from a hotel.

Amenities - Pool Access: 2/5
One of the reasons I chose this hotel was the promise of a pool, which, unfortunately, turned out to be inaccessible during my stay. The staff did not provide any clear explanation or alternative solution, leaving me disappointed and without the amenities I had anticipated enjoying.

In conclusion, my stay at [Hotel Name] was not up to the standard I expected. The combination of the noisy location, poor customer service, makes it difficult for me to recommend this hotel to fellow travellers. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and works towards improving the overall guest experience.

We were excited about this stay after seeing the great pictures and reviews. However, it turned out just okay and a little disappointing.

Pros:
- Nice workers
- Will hold luggage for you if needed
- Breakfast had some variety
- Good location if you want to be in the city center

Cons:
- No hot showers, was only lukewarm or room temp
- The queen bed is two twin beds pushed together
- Toilet was not fully flushed when we first entered
- Mold in the shower
- Towels seemed old and were starting to fall apart
- There was a sea view but blocked by window shades

The hotel is very modern. It has a calm beach right out front. Parking is easy to find however the parking meters are a nightmare make sure to ask the reception for a recommended parking lot. The hotel has an app where you can ask for all addition requests. Our unfortunately didn’t work during our 6 day stay but the reception took all our request without a problem. Check in was smooth and they kindly held our bags until the room was ready. Only reason I can’t give it a 5 star is because the shower was not well taken care of in our room. It was very spacious however the shower plate was not well taken care of. It’s a pity because it’s a gorgeous shower! The whole decor of the hotel was very nice.

Gorgeous hotel in central Las Palmas

Stayed here over Christmas 2020. The hotel is outstanding with excellent cleanliness, gorgeous rooms and an incredible view from the rooftop balcony and bar. The service was excellent and I really enjoyed my stay and the hotels proximity to the yacht club and beach next to it and approximately 20 minute walk to the larger Playa De Las Canteras. Only suggestion for improvement would be for the rooftop pool to have been open as it was at other places I stayed during this time. The gym had excellent quality of equipment though and the beach is only a stone's throw away in any case. This is one of those hotels you'd recommend to anyone.

However, we only had a basic room, which means there was no window that would provide some natural light. With dark walls and & dark furnishing the room felt claustrophobic.

In an excellent position overlooking the port. There is a nice beach across the road accessible by a bridge a few hundred yards to the left. The beach front has no bars/restaurants, nearest ones are at the marina to the right. It is only a 10 minute walk to the other side of the peninsula where the beach has a lovely long promenade with lots of bars restaurants.
Hotel has a really nice rooftop bar, spent many an hour watching the port and beach.

It was a quirky hotel -a Gastrobar where breakfast was served (way overpriced!) but it was closed during the day so the only place to go was the rooftop restaurant /bar which was windy late in the evening and too formal. Staff were very helpful and courteous.

We visited Hotel Silken Saaj Las Palmas for my husband's birthday. This is a lovely a boutique property on the edge of the centre - only about a 10/15 minute walk to the beach. It had not long opened when we stayed but the staff were very efficient and always helpful - nothing too big or too small. There are a few shops and restaurants close by too so convenient for those who do not like too long a walk. Thank you to everyone who made my husband's birthday memorable. I will definitely consider staying here again if we visit again.

A high tech hotel . Situated on a busy road but well insulated against noise. The clear glass between bedroom and bathroom meant there was a lack of privacy to wash and shower.

Very nice hotel. The room was a little small and quite dark, however, the cleanliness of it and the overall comfort made up for it.

Hotel was in a great location and the staff was incredibly friendly and was most helpful when it came to where to eat and how to take the bus.

Would definitely recommend this hotel for its accommodations and its staff. Well done!

The beds were very comfortable. Very helpful staff. Breakfast OK for a few days, otherwise boring.
Court yard room had the only window in the bathroom looking out into a shaft with the see through walls of the elevator going up and down. Never saw the sky. So paid extra to get a sea view room. Sea view room window had dirty plastic 'waves' decor screwed to the outside which totally obliterated the view! Who wants to look at plastic decor.
Hot water in the shower was continuously blasted with cold water. No bathroom door and glass shower cabinet right beside the bed. The hotel I felt was designed for looks rather than practical use. Would never stay there again.

Mon epouse et moi avons décidé de réserver auprès dun hôtel Silken à la suite de notre lune de miel en décembre 2023 à Séville, là aussi dans un hôtel Silken.
Notre choix s'est, aussi, portés sur cet hôtel car il est situé en face de la plage. Il suffit de traverser la route pour se trouver à la plage.

Cet hôtel etait parfait, la literie, le menage et la chambre étaient parfaits. J'ai particulièrement aimé la configuration de la douche.

Le personnel etait excellent et nous avons aimé passé du bon temps sur le rooftop.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, à proximité de Poema del mar le musée des sciences et de la plage. L'hôtel est aussi situé à proximité d'une salle de fitness Brooklyn fitboxing.

Je recommande cet hôtel qui est parfait pour profiter de bonnes vacances

El primer día que llegamos fue un shock, de todas las habitaciones que se ven en la web, llegas y te dan un zulo con vistas a un patio interior feo, descuidado y sin sentido. Además, el poder tirar de la cisterna del wc, era todo un acontecimiento. Las tapas de los dispensadores de jabón se caían al pulsarlas, y ya por último y no lo menos importante, el primer día nos robaron de la habitación unas gafas de sol de marca. Experiencia: para no repetir, desde luego.A veces buscas un hotel de prestigio y pagas un poco más que en otros “sin nombre” y te equivocas, como nos pasó a nosotros. Decepcionante en resumen
