This hotel has what I can only describe as an :open plan\" bathroom. There was NO wall or door to the bathroom and it was completely open to the sleeping area of the room. The toilet itself was in a small closet with a door but the shower, sink and eveything else was in full view of the room. It was the strangest bathroom I have ever seen. Luckily I was travelling alone so privacy was not a problem. Just beware that if you stay in this room you should feel comfortable being naked with whomever else is in the room!!
I asked for a room AWAY from the elevator and the desk clerk assured me it was. When I got upstairs, it was right NEXT to the elevator and was the exact opposite of the room I requested.
I wouldn't book here again.

Check in staff were lovely and friendly, we were even given an upgrade. The room was really nice, bed was comfy. Our only issue was tiny flies that came up through the floor drain. We got around this by leaving the floor towel over the drain and left a note for the cleaner to leave the towel- but unfortunately that was ignored. We should have reported it to reception but we didn’t. Cleaner didn’t change the mugs either. Would stay again though

All good except for the lift, which was out of service on a couple of days, but was fixed very quickly on each occasion. The room was large with a decent balcony (superior double) and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Liked the modern room and quirky shower!
Staff were pleasant, breakfast was good. Due to cancelled flight there was quick availability.
Disliked the lifts weren’t up to standard and the fact I got soaked in the night in bed due to a leak in the roof all we got was an apology with no compensation offered.

Nice but rather dated hotel in town centre

Just stopping for one night on Gran Canaria. Well located close to the beach and shopping centre. Too far to walk to the old town. Large, quiet but basic room, nice breakfast. Car parking was a minor problem as the hotel is in a one way street and the next car park is quite expensive (20 euro per day). They do have an arrangment with a cheaper one but you need to take a ticket from the receptionist. OK if there are two of you in the car but hard if you are on your own. Also do not believe the optimistic and helpful receptionist who says there is lots of free on-street parking after 20:00.

Very convenient and good value for money

From location this was great as the hotel is right in the middle of the commercial and business area of Las Palmas, walking distance from the beaches and port and the main bus terminal. In the other hand be aware you are 8 kilometres away from the old town (Cathedral) so you will need to take public buses to move around unless you are having a rental car.
It was very convenient in every sense, the staff very friendly, helpful and of course multi-lingual. The room was large, with a very comfortable bed and quiet at night (very important). Perhaps a bit dated in some areas but well taken care. The breakfast, which was included in the night rate (very rare as none of the other hotels in the city offered this) was nice with a good selection, so we were very happy with the choice over all and will strongly recommend to anyone.

Hotel is a good 3-star typical Spanish hotel. Pleased with the location with good public transport link (outside the hotel or 2-min walk to the main street), good local facilities (department store, supermarket, pharmacy, cafe). Our room was on the second floor (quiet without any street noise and spacious even with three single beds in one room). Breakfast is not bad at all: with both English and local Spanish selection.

4* city centre hotel is just 3* real value

A great location hotel with a very friendly staff, shame that the hotel was not a s clean as we expect from a 4* hotel (we had to ask to clean the floors and bedside in our arrival) the bed sheets and curtains had holes. I order a pizza and the pizza company didn't let me pay when they deliver the food, the said that the hotel will add it into my room service bill, my surprise when I pay was the hotel charge me a 7% extra. (I didn't order anything else)

We were a bit disappointed with our room as a family of four we had four single beds in quite a small room. Hotel is older style and needed a bit of refurbishment in parts. The breakfast however (included in the rate) was superb a great range of food was offered in the buffet.

Close to the beach and the harbour, bad service

The hotel is situated at a good place, with the beach and the harbour nearby. Besides from this, there is not much nice to say about the hotel. The service from the reception was really bad. We got very little help on simple questions about in ex where to go and where to eat in Las Palmas, and in the end we were afraid to ask of anything. The rooms were simple and at an ok standard, but some of the sheets were dirty, and although we asked for a non-smoking room, the room was clearly used as a smoking room, and the smell from this was very bad.

A very good trip with staying in Hotel Fataga

Hotel Fataga was nearly the best thing that we were expecting. It was a real 4-star hotel, with whatever you want. The rooms are really nice, clean and big. We liked it so much. The breakfast was really great and delicious, and the personnel were nice and friendly. We were completely satisfied with our one week staying in Hotel Fataga - it helped our trip to be so lovely and memorable.

El wifi realmente es muy malo, el shampoo, el gel de baño y el papel higiénico son de MUY baja calidad.

La habitación es agradable y la cama muy cómoda.

La atención en líneas generales es buena, todos han sido amables. Acabo de regresar y me deje un par de zapatillas en la habitación, con lo cual conforme a si aparecen o no es que voy a terminar de definir si la atención es buena o no.

DAs Hotel war sauber, Frühstück reichhaltig und gut.
Die Sonnenterasse war nur teilweise nutzbar. Öffnungen der Terasse wie Sportraum auf Verlangen.
Klimaanlage im Zimmer ausser Funktion.
Alles in Allem ok.

Slitt hotell,treng virkelig oppussing,harde senger,når vi ankom hotellet ringte telefonen heile tida så innsjekkinga tok lang tid for resepsjonisten tok telefonen kvar gang,synest det var litt dårleg service og innformasjon :(
Frukost mitt på treet :) etter vårt syn er det eit 2 stjernes hotell og ikkje 4 :( Mykje støy fra heisen heila natta og utanfor :( Ikkje vårt hotell.

Excellente service, vooral van het personeel van de horeca (Nestor verzorgt ontbijt)! Receptie is wel kundig maar kunnen vriendelijker zijn. Huishoudelijke verzorging is prima en zeer vriendelijk.

Jammer dat de kamers zeer gehorig zijn. Zowel geluiden van aangrenzende kamers als straatgeluiden (busstation en afvalcontainers) zijn zeer luid.
Daarbij zijn ook veel groepen (jonge) sporters te gast. Zij maken veel herrie in de gangen en op de kamers.

Ikke et 4 stjerners hotell etter vår målestokk. Servicen var veldig god, men fasilitetene ikke etter hva vi forventer av et 4 stjerners hotell. Dårlig utvalg til frokost samt veldig dårlig wifi. Boblebadet er også kun for voksne, hvilket er et stort minus når man reiser med barn. Beliggenheten er super i forhold til shopping og restauranter.

Kauppakeskukset lähellä. Satamaan noin 5-6 min ja vanhaan (historialliseen) keskustaan noin 7-8 min automatka (todennäköisesti myös julkisilla pääsee) ja taksimatkaan ei mennyt kun 4-5 euroa. Huonetta varatessa pitää ottaa huomioon, että lähellä saattaa olla vilkastakin liikennettä.

Bel hôtel bien placé entre mer et centre ville

Personnel accueillant, certains parlent français. L'hôtel est de taille raisonnable et propre. Il est bien situé à côté du marché central, près d'une avenue commerçante, et à 5 minutes à pied de la plage.
Attention à l'isolation dans la chambre côté rue ! Et nous avons eu une baignoire au lieu d'une douche, pas gênant mais on s'attendait à une grande douche italienne :) Rien à redire sur la literie, ni le ménage.
Formule petit déjeuner très correcte, tout comme le bar de l'hôtel qui propose sandwich et boissons (entre autres) plaisants à un tarif bas.
La terrasse est facile d'accueil, le jacuzzi et le sauna ne sont pas pris d'assaut, ce qui permet d'en profiter souvent.
Nous recommandons cet hôtel, pour notre part réservé à la hâte et avec une bonne surprise, bref si nous avons de retourner à Las Palmas nous ne changerions sûrement pas de lieu d'hébergement !

Bodde fem nätter på Fataga i februari och var mycket nöjd. Rummet var bra, sängen och kuddarna dock lite för hårda. Hade önskat en bäddmadrass ovanpå sängen för bättre bekvämlighet. Hade även önskat ett kylskåp på rummet, men i övrigt har jag ingenting att anmärka på. Frukosten var utmärkt, allt man önskade och lite till fanns att välja på. Speciellt nöjd med \"te-stationen\" med flera sorters te, färsk mynta, ingefära, citron och honung. Även mycket nöjd med utbudet av färsk frukt, färskpressade juicer och fruktshots. Hotellet har även ett utmärkt Wi-fi. Var orolig över att det skulle vara dåligt på grund av tidigare recensioner jag läst, men de måste ha bytt system nyligen för hotellets Wi-fi fungerade bättre än jag någonsin upplevt ett hotell-wifi göra.

Hotel in pieno centro

Hotel molto carino in pieno centro.
Siamo stati accolti molto gentilmente. Il personale molto cordiale pronto a risolvere qualsiasi nostra richiesta.
Colazione abbondante e varia.
La camera viene solo riordinata e non pulita quindi dopo una settimana c'era la lanetta sul pavimento.
Nel complesso abbiamo trascorso una bella vacanza

Manglende information ved røg på hotellet

Kl. 03.37 mandag den 26. december 2017 blev der banket hårdt på vores dør. Det viste sig, at der var røg på gangen og vi besluttede os for, at trække i tøjet. Umiddelbart efter blev der igen banket endnu hårdere på døren af politiet, som bad os om, at forlade værelset omgående. Vi begav os fra 7. sal til gaden via trappen. Vi kunne fra gaden ikke umiddelbart se flammer, men blev alligevel mødt af 4 - 5 brandkøretøjer og et par politibiler.
Fik lov at vente på gaden ca. 1,5 time, sammen med hotellets øvrige gæster, inden vi igen kunne gå til vores værelser.

Vi fik af hotelpersonalet ingen information overhovedet. Det ville være ønskelig, at hotelpersonalet var kommet ud på gaden og informeret os om, hvad der skete. Ingen information og ingen former for forplejning. Hotellet kunne godt have budt på en flaske vand. Havde i forvejen travlt med at forsyne os med vandflasker på værelset under opholdet og kunne måske også have givet os vand på gaden.
Ydermere ville det have været fornuftigt, hvis der var stillet en bus til rådighed, mens vi opholdt os på gaden. Lidt lang tid at vente og ingen steder at sidde. Det var forholdsvis koldt.
Først da vi fik lov, at vende tilbage til hotellet kunne personalet på vores forespørgsel oplyse, at der opstået fejl i noget maskineri i underetagen, som havde medført røg (brand ??). Røgen bredte sig derefter til alle hotellets gange og trapper.
