It is a nice Hotel overall. Did not have A/C. Maybe typical for Germany, but it got really steamy in the room. The nearby lake makes the area more humid, so not having an A/C or at least a ceiling fan is not that great.

Parking fees were a bit on the high side for Europe. Food was ridiculous. 120 euro for 1 adult and 3 kids 11, 13 and 15.

The lake and view is amazing. Getting to the hotel from the tram station was not too good. Long walk with luggage.
It is a nature reserve but there was litter everywhere which was a real shame. The hotel should have a litter picking project. It would be so good if they did keep it clean, no plastics.

I couldn't walk too far. They have a water taxi which is amazing.

A resort for locals

From check in until check out it was clear we were not welcome. We were charged for everything to include the dog and parking. A double comfort room is two twin beds pushed together. I understand German better than I speak it and I was not pleased with management when I asked to upgrade. While I was conversing with the desk lady she rudely cut off our conversation from a seat in the back office to say absolutely not. On a positive note it is within walking distance to the Bahnhof so you can escape.

Relaxing Family Vacation

Hotel was near the lake. So I reserved. But I got much more than I had expected. There was large pool, exercise room, great view of the lake, paved bike path, nearby restaurant, etc. Having delicious breakfast outside with the view of the lake was such a pleasure. I will come back again if I come back to Potsdam!

Quiet location on the lake. Pleasant dining area. Excellent breakfast. Many staff spoke little English. Far from town, so fine if you have your own vehicle, but expensive taxi ride otherwise.

Die Suite war wirklich sehr gut für uns als vierköpfige Familie geeignet! Ein Kühlschrank hat uns tatsächlich gefehlt sowie ein funktionierender Fahrstuhl. Uns wurde zwar für den Transport des Gepäcks Hilfe angeboten, aber ein Fahrstuhl für vier Stockwerke zur Tiefgarage ist unabdingbar.

Überteuerte Unterkunft. Maximal unfreundlicher Empfang („was wollen sie hier“)

Kein Zimmerservice. Zustand des Hotels: in die Jahre gekommen. Aufwertung durch Wandmotive kann dies nicht abmildern.

Frühstücksbuffet auf das Wesentliche reduziert. Hier soweit alles okay von der Qualität, dennoch preislich nicht entsprechend.

Die angebotene Qualität kann von der lowBudget Konkurrenz bei weitem übertroffen werden. Sehr schade.

Anbindung an die Stadt via ÖPNV vollkommen okay. Lage am See: top.

Definitiv hätte die Unterkunft sehr viel mehr Potenzial. Schade

Das gastronomisch Angebot war ausreichend.
Die Betten waren bequem; leider hatten wir ein Zimmer, wo das Bett direkt an der Wand stand. Das war nicht so günstig, gerade wenn ältere Leute da übernachten müssten. Wir sind alles mit dem Auto gefahren; bis zum Zug musste man ca. 15 Minuten laufen. Internetzugang war kostenlos gewährleistet. Die Fugen der Dusche waren stark verschimmelt.

Alles war soweit in Ordnung, allerdings stand in der Buchung nirgends, dass der Wellnessbereich extra kostet. Das war wirklich sehr schade. Schade war auch, dass es abends nur Buffet gab (32€ einfach zu teuer). Wir werden nicht wieder buchen.

Very nice location and hotel in general. 30 meters from a lake with beach is hard to do better. Pool is nice too but without no natural connection to the outdoor area. There’s a small garden with lounge chairs where one can enjoy a beer or spritz. Restaurant was the only downside. A very poor buffé at a very steep price. We did not eat at the hotel but at a very nice restaurant nearby.

Not a great night's sleep

Vi havde booket værelse til 4 personer og ankom kl 22 - med to meget trætte børn. De to ekstrasenge, som skulle gøre det ud for halvdelen af værelsets senge, var placeret lige inden for døren og var hverken foldet ud, redt op eller havde sengelinned på. Receptionisten tog hurtigt affære, men det var en lidt irriterende start på overnatningen.
Værelset var stort og rummeligt, men desværre meget lydt, og ingen af dørene (til badeværelset, til gangen mellem soveværelse og badeværelse og mellem soveværelse og opholdsrum med ekstrasenge) kunne lukkes ordentligt.
Hovedpuderne var forfærdeligt hårde og tykke.
Morgenmaden var frisk og fint varieret.

Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich. Leider nagte an dem einen oder anderen Möbelstück der Zahn der Zeit. Das Bad war sauber, aber es roch etwas merkwürdig. Leider war auch der Wellness-Bereich gerade in der Wartung. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag gleich, aber schmackhaft.

Hatten extra Wellness und Spa Hotel gebucht und dann war Wellness und Spa ohne Vorinformation geschlossen. Eine Entschädigungen oder Kostminderung gab es nicht. Desweiteren war das Fenster vom Zimmer an einen Gang des Hauses ausgerichtet mit besten Blickfang für andere Gäste. Können das Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen und würden da selbst nicht noch einmal hinfahren.

Positives: es gab genug Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Hotel, damit man sich die teure Tiefgarage sparen konnte
Nett: bei Nichtinspruchnahme der täglichen Zimmerreinigung bekommt man ein kleines Goodie
Negatives:
- Email an das Hotel vor der Anreise wurde nicht beantwortet
- im Restaurant gab es abends grundsätzlich nur ein Buffet (und das eine Mal, wo wir es probiert haben, war es das nicht wert)
- an der Bar gab es keine Kleinigkeiten zum Essen, auch wenn es so angegeben ist
- den Wellnessbereich würden wir nicht so nennen; in der Sauna gab es keine Möglichkeit sich hinzulegen (Ruheraum ist geschlossen); auch im Schwimmbad nur wenige Liegen; eine Behandlung gibt es nach Verfügbarkeit der ext. Personals mit mind. 24-h-Voranmeldung

Entspanntes verlängertes WE mit Sohn

Wir zu zweit in den Herbstferien in Potsdam. Das Hotel hatte ich wegen Schwimmbad, Bowlingbahn, Billiard und Tischkicker ausgewählt, um auch vor und nach den Tagesausflügen Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten mit meinem Sohn zu haben. Zimmer und Frühstück waren auch sehr gut. Lediglich abends sollte es außer Buffet auch etwas für den kleinen Hunger vor allem für Kinder geben. Die sehr freundliche Bedienung hat uns aber auch hier geholfen. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden. Besten Dank!

Leider war nirgendwo bei der Buchung vorab ersichtlich, dass der „Spa“ Bereich auch für Hotelgäste „kostenpflichtig“ ist. Mit 6 Euro/Erwachsene überteuert. Wir hatten das Hotel aufgrund des kleinen Pools für eine Übernachtung für die Kids ausgesucht - kurz Planschen fiel dann aber aus genannten Gründen am Ende heute früh aus!

Unmöglich. Ich habe nicht das Zimmer bekommen , was ich gebucht hatte für 140 €.
Bei 37,5 Grad keine Klimaanlage, kein Kühlschrank. Kein Abendessen bekommen, kurz vor 20.30 Uhr war das Büfett komplett abgeräumt! Uralter Teppichboden auf den Fluren.

I would not return to this hotel.
1) Sheets had holes in them. We discovered it after dinner, and decided to live with it.
2) NO AC. It was unbearably hot, insanely hot. Falling asleep was a challenge, and downright uncomfortable. It was 27 degrees outside, but far hotter inside. We’re not from the US, so we’re not used to AC, but for a “luxury” hotel, you should be able to expect a cool room in the summer.
3) No complementary shampoo or conditioner. Not even a shower gel. They’d put hand soap in the shower stall…..
4) No a la carte menu after five. What the hell? You’re forced to pay 26 euros for a buffet that’s not vegan or vegetarian friendly if you want dinner at the restaurant. They had a great a la carte menu that looked wonderful, but apparently you’re supposed to have dinner before 17.00.
5) Electrical charger for our tesla did not work, and the staff could not help us. It’s not their chargers, but they obviously collaborate with a charging company in order to have the stations on their premises. We chose this hotel so we could charge.
5) We had to pay for parking despite not being able to charge our car. The parkering garage is EXTREMELY small and the ceiling is low. So low, when we opened our trunk, it scratched against the ceiling, and we ended up with dents.
6) You have to pay to use the pool. Fine, but the pool was booked until 18.00 because of a fitness aerobic class. So basically, it was pointless.


All in all. Too expensive and not a fancy hotel.

Overall great hotell

A bit in the middle of nowhere at a beautiful location in the woods by the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. A bit disappointed that the pool had an entrance fee of 6€ per day. Room was nice and comfortable but I think they were in a hurry when they last cleened it, they forgot to vheck behind the bathroom door so we got a bit of an unpleasant surprise when we closed it.

Großräumiges und runtergekommenes Hotel. Hotelzimmer ist groß und geräumig (wenig Stauraum und Einzelbetten trotz „Doppelbett“).
Ruhig und direkt in der Natur.

Es ist in die Jahre gekommen - Kalkrückstände und Rost im Bad. In diesem funktioniert die Belüftung nur semi, da Handtücher und Badeutensilien über Nacht nicht trocknen!

Wellnessbereich gegen Aufpreis, welcher ebenfalls gründlich gereinigt und saniert werden müsste (kaputte & drecke Fließen, Wasserrückstände und Dreck an der Brücke,…). Auch funktionieren sämtliche Düsen (Gegenstromanlage & Pils) nicht.

Personal ist nett & zuvorkommend, wirkt jedoch ungepflegt und nicht passend angezogen.

Frühstück mit Kaffeeautomat und reichlich Platz für etliche Personen. Qualität des Essens ist verbesserungsfähig (Birchermüsli, Früchte, Aufstrich,..)

Parkplatzmöglichkeiten gegen Aufpreis in der Tiefgarage und gratis am nahegelegenen Waldstück. Gratis wifi funktioniert überall im Gebäude einwandfrei!

Wir waren insgesamt 4 Nächte hier um Urlaub zu machen. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen, direkt am See mit eigenem Steg. Ein Fahrradweg führt direkt nach Potsdam, immer am Wasser entlang. Fahrräder können in der Tiefgarage abgestellt werden. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und sauber. Das Personal in allen Bereichen ist überaus nett und freundlich. Aufpassen muss man allerdings bei den Zusatzkosten (Minibar kostet 10 € Miete am Tag).
Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen

Schönes, sauberes Hotel, supertoller Service in der Gsstro. Leider nicht behindertenfreundlich, trotz Voranmeldung mit Bitte um barrierearmes Zimmer nur Badewanne, Einstieg und Duschen also für Gehbehinderte nicht möglich. Zimmertausch abgelehnt wegen voller Belegung.
