The overall stay in Leeden hotel is good, the location is good in Zhujiang New Town. when we checked in the first night, one of our room has sewage stinky smell, front desk changed room for us on the 2nd day.

Free shuttle service to Canton Fair

I stay at this hotel for business especially when the Canton Fair is going on because they hotel free shuttle service that goes back and forth from the hotel to the fair. This the location is excellent it is surrounded by restaurants and shopping centers plus a quick walk to the US consulate if ever needed as well as the river.

More can be done for the cleanliness. There were a few stains on towels. Floor was carpeted but you can see that the edges and corners were not cleaned with lots of dust.

However, for 3 pax, we get a big space with living room and 2 bedrooms. We like the space for the price. Nearby not many dining options but were grateful to have at least a convenience shop and a bakery downbstairs where we can get coffee and freshly-made bread and croissants.

The location of this hotel is perfect. I was a single female traveller so I had to make sure I feel safe in the area, and it definitely felt like that. It's also very closed to a central metro station so moving around was super easy! The hotel itself and the room are very nice with a lot of complimentary stuff. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely book this hotel again when coming back to Guangzhou!

Pleasant stay at Guangzhou city center

It was a pleasant stay at Leeden Hotel while we were on a short business trip to the city center (Tianhe). The location is close to very good local favorite restaurants and shopping malls of both high and regular ends. Staff is attentive, friendly, patient, and they took an extra step to make us feel welcomed and cared for. If there were needs they were taken care immediately. There were no microwave in our room, but they offered to heat our food in their restaurants. Really appreciate the hospitability we received in Guangzhou!

The facility is a little dated but still functional. There were three elevators but only two were working; have to wait, especially in the morning.

I’ve been staying in this hotel many times when I visited GZ in past 10 years mainly because of its location very close to the heart of Zhu Jiang New Town. Only concern for me is the choice of restaurant in the hotel! Japanese restaurant is fine but the new one is a bit too pricy when compared to the old one which I used to enjoy a lot in the past!

Hotel was very good. Staff were very helpful and professional. Room was spacious, clean and fairly modern, shower pressure was great. Only negative I can think of was the bed was a bit hard for my taste, but this is not at all uncommon in China. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for the price, which is very reasonable for the level of quality and comfort it offers. There are plenty of good restaurants around the hotel as well.

Overall a good experience ... the only two things that need improving are more coffee machines are needed during the trade fair ... Perhaps two at the other end away from the entrance to the breakfast area,,,this I saw in Singapore which worked well , otherwise serve coffee at the tables ...Also many people were taking a taxi on the last day of the trade fair , due to only one bus leaving at 8 50am .. this did not leave until 9 am... My suggestion is a bus at 8 30am .....and leaving at 12 30pm not 12 noon - not giving us enough time there ...

In the center of CBD, close to subway, Huacheng square, IFC, and other landmark buildings in Guangzhou. The front desk people are friendly, gave us a free upgrade to the huge Executive Suite. The breakfast is excellent with traditional Chinese and western style selections. We came during the Chinese New Year. The beautiful decoration around the city made our trip to Guangzhou more memorable.

Amazing Hotel. Worth it to stay at!

Everything about this hotel was amazing! From the room size and condition, housekeeping services, buffet breakfast and the front desk staff. Everything inside the room's mini bar is free of charge. There is even cakes, pastries, iced tea and even bottled water free of charge at the lobby every afternoon till late evening. The hotel is also close to many restaurants and the Zhujiang New Town Subway station as well.

The staff was very nice and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is that the curtains on the window let in a very bright sliver of light that shined right at the head of my bed. Thankfully I brought a sleep mask to help me with that. That might be a big negative to some people, though. I don't know if other rooms were that way, but since I only stayed one night, it wasn't a big deal. I slept very well.

We had a huge room, actually 3 rooms, a living room, bedroom, and huge bath. Very comfortable, great view and exactly where we needed to be geographically for our business purpose. After long flights, it's nice to relax. We deliberately sought hotel with indoor pool. Leeden indicated they had one as an amenity and covered by the obligatory \"resort fee\". We included our swimwear in packing. However, upon arrival we went to the pool and the attendant said the water was ice cold and to not use it. Pools do not get ice cold overnight, it had obviously been turned off or taken out of operation for a period of time. We feel the ad was therefore misleading and if a property changes its amenities, they they should change their listing accordingly. Everything else at Leeden was great, but we missed the pool, especially if it was included in the resort fee cost.

I really like Leeden hotel. This is a very clean and modern hotel. It is great for the value. Similar hotels around the area are actually more expensive. The location is great too. It is about 6-7 mins walking to the closest subway station. There are lots of restaurants around. It is also in the center of CBD. Therefore very convenient for business purposes. The best thing about this hotel is that drink in minibar in the room is free and room service refills the minibar every day. This is really something unique and adding value amongst all the hotels that I stayed so far.

good value for the money

the hotel is located in the tianhe 'new town' area of guangzhou. it is the newest part of the sprawling city with the largest and newest construction in southern china. the building is large with retail shops with traditional american fast food restaurants conveniently situated in the surrounding area. if one prefers traditional (not westernized) japanese food, i highly recommend the japanese restaurant on the second level within the hotel. the quality of the imported seafood trumps the majority of japanese restaurants in the northern california bay area and reminiscent of the traditional japanese restaurant offerings which first opened in southern california in the 1970s.

breakfast may not measure up to say, the shangri-la hotel, but if you are accustomed to a european breakfast, the leaden hotel will more than satisfy your morning cravings for a hot cup of freshly brewed espresso and various other breakfast offerings.

the rooms have excellent hvac and controls are simple to manipulate.

the bathrooms are well maintained and contemporary.

the bedding is comfortable and clean, and all the rooms have views.

if you are on a budget but accustomed to 5 star service, try this 4 star hotel. you will not be disappointed.

Great hotel with Outstanding Service

This was a very nice hotel located in a great area. Within walking distance to the metro station and nearby shopping areas. The service at the hotel was outstanding. The hotel staff was very attentive and they went above and beyond to provide good service. Staff in areas that engaged directly with guests also spoke very good english. The breakfast buffet was also very good with a wide selection.

I was in town for the Canton fair and they offered regular shuttle services back and forth from the fair. The only negative aspects of my stay was the very slow internet connectivity. They are surrounded by other hotels and residential buildings and do not have a password on their WIFI. Last though I was in a non-smoking room the room it had the residual smell of a room that had definitely been smoked in.

Quite close from metro.. hotel located in the modern side of Guangzhou everyday they provided drinks and free bottle of water plus some are available at the reception. Just a shame about tennis table and other activities have to be paid for otherwise I recommend it. Note we had to change room because first room had a weird smell but other room was good. Staff fast to answer to request, very much appreciated. Great price/value

Very convenient location. Not too far by car for the convention center. Hotel provided a shuttle for drop-off and pick-up but I used the taxi service. The location of this hotel is very central without being overly pricey. Great location to walk to lots of restaurant choices. It is always important to understand the idiosnycrasies of a hotel... dinner ware being removed for breakfast and several dishes not available was more than compensated for at breakfast where I would rate the selection and service very high... two chefs preparing eggs non-stop so no waiting time etc. Convenient metro station maybe 5min walk... good restaurants nearby large executive room (maybe an upgrade... twin bedrooms + lounge!)
All in all, looking forward to return next fair and highly recommended.

This hotel is centrally located in the city. It is walking distance from shopping, activities and the Metro. The staff was responsive and professional. I had several items shipped to the hotel before I arrived. These items were delivered to me before the check in process was complete. I was unable to make use of many of the hotel’s amenities because I spent most of my time exploring the city. I would stay at this hotel again, if I am ever in Guangzhou.

Best Value hotel in Guangzhou

The hotel rooms are clean and well maintained. I usually get the executive room which is of good size and bigger than the business room. Plenty of space for two guests. The bathroom is quite big as well. The mattresses, linens, towels etc.. are of very good quality. In general it is quite comfortable. The floor to ceiling windows and the decor make the room feel warm yet airy.The contents of the mini bar are complimentary though there is only one of each item. There is also tea and coffee available in the room. The WiFi is free and quite reliable. Never had an issue with it. The front desk staff is very pleasant and welcoming. English is no longer a problem. Check in and check out is very efficient. Getting a taxi from the front door of the hotel is no problem as well. there are always cabs waiting there. I am always in Guangzhou for the Canton Fair and the hotel provides daily free shuttle service to and from the fair. The ride take roughly 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It has everything, location, proximity to the fair, clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff and great value.

FREE room upgrade and good location

LOCATION
Take Metro Line 3 from the Airport (Airport South) and get off at Tiyu Xilu. Transfer to the other side and take the train going Panyu Square (Line 3 as well) and get off at Zhujiang New Town (1 stop). Take Exit A2, walk straight then cross the street and turn right. Walk straight then turn left. The hotel entrance is on the front, left side of the building.

CHECK IN
The room reservation didn't include breakfast and when we decided to get breakfast, the front desk office offered free room upgrade from Business Queen Room to Executive Twin Room.

ROOM
Executive Twin Room has 2 single beds. It's called single but it's actually a double bed, so it has two double beds.

FOOD
Room reservation without breakfast can still avail of 68RMB per person buffet breakfast. Food tastes good with a wide variety.

Very Good Hotel In Guangzhou

I have been staying at this hotel for the last six years. I have never been disappointed. The hotel is located in the Tianhe District in the Zhujiang New Town area. It is surrounded by a multitude of modern skyscrapers and office and residence buildings. The new town area is very quiet, modern, clean and quite different from other parts of Guangzhou. The Zhujiang New Town subway station is just a block away. Use Exit A2 from the subway station to get to the hotel. Just around the hotel are quite a few restaurants (Both Western & Asian) and gastro pubs that have sprouted up in the last few years. The hotel is also very close to the US Consulate, and Tianhe Park that was build for the Asian Games. The park is very beautiful at night. It get completely lit up, and draws a lot of people. It is just a great place to hangout especially at night.
The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are very clean, modern and extremely comfortable. We usually book the Executive room, which is decent in size, and includes free mini bar, free wifi, and free daily breakfast.(very good spread). The mattress, pillows etc are very comfortable. Linens and towels are of top quality. I visit during the Canton Fair and they offer a free shuttle to and from the Fair. There is also a 7 eleven, in the same building as the hotel. Very convenient for snacks and drinks etc.. The staff at the hotel is very polite and English has never been a problem. Book this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

Nice Big Rooms, Versatile location.

The Hotel itself is located in a more quiet area. Its near to a shopping mall but tucked away enough to be clear from the crowds and noise.

The lobby is adequate, free bottled water by the check-in counters was a nice touch.

The room we got was a twin room executive. The rooms are nice and big. Toilet a bit small but complete. Faucet is a pain to use, the handle seems to want to come off. There's a walk-in closet which is a surprisingly nice addition to the room. TV entertainment has a good choice of english channels.

The hotel also has a complimentary shuttle bus service to and from the fair grounds in Pazhou.

A few problems though:

1. The room, although Non-smoking smelled of smoke. (Not surprised being in China)
2. The doorman to the elevator was a bit shocking to me. I am Chinese-Asian (Filipino) and when we got off the bus, I was singled out and asked for my hotel card before entering the elevator lobby. I didn't think much of it till a bit later. Singled out because I looked Chinese and was the only Asian in a bus of Caucasians. (OK, its good security but then again, it was rude.) He should have at least apologized when I showed him my hotel card. All he did was wave his hand at me. (Like telling me you can go...)

Will I stay here again, yes. I am still angry at the doorman, No. Its the hotels duty to properly train staff. Not his fault. Say the least, apologize by saying sorry but then again, this is China.

Good enough for short business stay

A rather standard 4 star boutique type hotel in CBD. Room is comfortable and clean. Breakfast is just OK.

Good stay, plus point for free mini bar.

It was a convenient hotel located in the CBD area, about 5 minutes from the train station. It is clean and the free access to the mini bar was fantastic. There is a cafe and 7-11 downstairs which make it a plus point. Room was good and clean.

Only down side: might be a little hard to get a cab, but the hotel staff will help you.

hotel was good, clean, complimentary mini bar, not many english channels, water in a pool freezing, can't open the windows, air-condition didn't let me heat up the room

Pleasant and enjoyable stay.

My stay at Leeden Hotel Guangzhou for these past three years are alway pleasant and very satisfactoy. Staffs at the front desk and concierge are very helpful and diligent in their work. Rooms are clean and well maintained. And special thanks to the female staff who upgraded my room when I checked in on my this trip.

Print out the exact address and a map and give them to the taxi driver. Quite a few taxi drivers had difficulty finding the hotel.
