This was a last minute stopover hotel for us. Having flown for 10 hours and discovered that our connecting flight was postponed for 15 hours, this hotel was a godsend. It was close to a shopping mall where we found Din Tai Fung; delicious! The bed was so comfortable and I slept like a log. Breakfast options were amazing. 10/10!

We did not like the first room we got, the hotel quickly changed another one for us. The room was big and basically had everything we need during our short stay. Just that this hotel is surrounded by tall buildings and the view is not open.

The fitness center at the hotel is excellent. It's well-equipped with modern machines and maintained to the highest standards, offering everything needed for a comprehensive workout. The space is clean, spacious, and provides a great environment for both a quick exercise session or an extended workout.

Additionally, the integrity and efficiency of the management were clearly demonstrated when we accidentally left behind a watch and headphones in our room. Not only did the hotel management promptly contact us about the forgotten items, but they also arranged a convenient way for us to retrieve them. I told the hotel in advance that it was my wife's birthday. When we entered the suite, there were balloons, \"happy birthday\" banners, birthday cake, strawberries and cream, chocolates and a personal hand-written birthday note. in the living room. It was just wonderful. The staff were all absolutely wonderful for the entire one-night stay. And of course, the suite was just stunning. It reminded me of some of the top-end apartments in Manhatten. I could easily live there. Japanese toilet, huge tub, all the amenities. Brilliant.

Our stay was good! The pool was overcrowded and we didn’t get to enjoy it which is a huge disappointment. I did enjoy staff’s service as they were courteous and polite. Please change the layout of the room so I don’t have to watch TV in a 90 degree angle.

Although my stay at Ritz-Carlton was excellent, I have a strong complain: I prepaid my whole stay at the hotel, but I had to leave and checkout one day earlier for personal reasons, it was impossible to get a refund for the last night I didn't used, the hotel claimed I had to deal with Expedia, Expedia claimed I had to deal with the Hotel, nobody helped me, just passed the ball to the other. I will never prepay a hotel stay in my life, as they say in my home country: \"A musician paid in advance rarely plays a good tune\"

Great hotel with very convenient location

Ritz-Carlton in Guangzhou is a great hotel. The room is much larger than many other hotels in the city I have stayed and equipped with comfortable furniture. Our room is quiet and the view is excellent. Staffs are very nice. The only negative issue is foods are very expensive although they are tasty.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We had minor issue at time of check in. We booked a Twin Room but at the time of check in we were asked to stay in Kingsize room with one extra bed. For this issue hotel was ready to upgrade us to another room ONLY the next day which was pretty annoying to pack bags and change room for ONE night. We showed the front office staff the confirmation of twin room then they provide us twin room. Being one of the finest hotel in the world a simple solution should upgrade both night which we would have said ok. But it was only night so we did not want take that offer. Hope this kind of issue would not repeat again. We will come back soon.

I was very disappointed with the staff in Ritz Carlton. I specifically picked this luxury hotel with breakfast because it was a business trip. I wanted to be as comfortable as possible. It even said on my booking confirmation that there was breakfast buffet included. However, when we got there, the hotel receptionists really insisted that the breakfast was not included in the package I got. I was paying around $580 per night for this room (supposedly with breakfast) and they robbed us of our breakfast! Very disappointed with this.

First class hotel in the best location in GZ

Ritz Carlton definitely lives up to its well-deserved reputation as the best service hotel chain in the world. I was amazed that, during a 3 day stay, many of the staff had learnt our names and called us by name each time we saw them. Facilities are amazing, probably the best hotel gym I've seen. Room was very comfortable and palatial. Amazing hotel really. In my short list for the most expansive breakfast buffet - even quail eggs on offer.
