The room was very cold and the staff did not reply to my messages asking about heat. Clean room and good location. No street noise during the week but the door to the courtyard was loud and no soundproofing from the hallway. Tiny shower. Bed was just ok. I was able to leave my suitcase for the rest of the day after checking out.

The hotel is centrally located to all of the sites I wanted to see, The Vatican, Trevi Fountain, The Colosseum all of them were less than a 30 mins walk. Needed to get in my steps. The housekeeping lady was absolutely lovely! She was very helpful on a few occasions.
If I ever found myself in Rome again, I would stay there.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. This isn't a traditional hotel, more like a boutique hotel taking up one section of a floor in a shared building. You will be given two access codes, one for the main door and one for the floor. Special note for fellow Americans, what the Europeans refer to as floor 1 is what we'd call floor 2. We were super confused trying to find the right door before we realized we were on the wrong floor.

Good: It was clean, it had the necessities, and the location is excellent. Walkable to the major attractions, many restaurants and shops in the immediate area.

Not so good: The beds were uncomfortably firm. We visited in October so it wasn't very hot, but we did notice the A/C wasn't very powerful.

To call this a hotel is generous. There is no staff on site, check in is reminiscent of an escape room as it requires 3 keypads and finding your own keys. Security is non existent as is the customer service. The location is central but it smells strongly of feet. WiFi and AC worked well, but don’t expect any assistance if something doesn’t work. For instance our fridge (the only amenity) did not work and it became a drawn out back and forth on WhatsApp (again, non existent staff). I recommend staying elsewhere!

We really enjoyed our time at this hotel, which was conveniently close to the city's main attractions. The self-check-in was super easy, allowing us to skip the usual front desk formalities and get straight to our room. The room itself was spotless and surprisingly quiet, providing a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. Being so close to everything was a huge plus, as it meant we could easily pop back to the hotel between outings. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the city.

The only thing was that the check in process was complicated; required me to download WhatsApp and was not at all easy. It took us nearly 30 minutes to figure out how to get to our room and there was no staff on duty whatsoever to assist. All communication was through WhatsApp and not the most clear and concise. Other than that it was a good room and a good stay.

The area was perfect location to all sights, if you are good wirh a small walk. If you don't walk places, you miss so many beautiful sights. The hotel is on a major road, so not extremely quiet at night, but that is the charm. We arrived after the front desk was gone (1pm) and the directions to self check in were very easy to follow. Rooms are very simple in Europe but this was clean and roomy. You really don't want to stay inside except to sleep. Would definitely stay here again.

Our owner did not let our friends in the room they were supposed to have because someone else took wrong key and moved into their room. So our friends had to be in the other section away from us. Very inconvenient and manager would not help us. Check out is 10, our driver for the port was picking us up at 11:30. We asked to have a later check out, he would only give us half an hour. The bed was 2 twins put together and was so hard we wondered if they were box springs. It was very dirty around the hotel. The tv would turn off after about an hour and was hard for me to sleep without tv as there was a lot of traffic noise

The property is in a beautiful building across the street from Trattoria da Luigi. The front desk is closed by 13:00 (1pm) so we picked up our keys from the restaurant around 17:00 (5pm). The owner asked to meet the following day at 9:30 (9:30am) which was a bit inconvenient as we had a tour in the afternoon and wanted to explore the city. I requested for an extra blanket but never received it and house keeping came at 14:30 (2:30pm) which I found odd as we chose that time to escape the heat. Overall, the location and building itself was a great stay.

Where to begin… We got off our flights and contacted Gabriel because as said in other reviews if you check in after 1 no one is on the property so naturally I was confused. I was responded to with unpleasantness. Getting to the room was a bit confusing but we figured it out and it turned out to be a bit of an adventure. There was blood stains and splatter on the mirror and the faucet was dirty. At around 6 am there was cigarette smell coming from what seemed to be inside our room (although it wasn’t). It woke us up and we couldn’t go back to sleep because the smell was so potent. The bed wasn’t comfortable, there was sand in the sheets, and there was no blanket to go over the sheets. Great location but would find somewhere else to stay for the same money.

The only thing I did not like about this place was the check in is only from 9:30 to 1:30. We arrived (our flight) at 3:30 and had a tour scheduled the next 2 mornings from 10 -1. So in order for us to make the tours, we had to leave before these ours and got back after these hours. There is no one attending the complex (apartments and rental rooms). Olga was the only one I had contact with in person. She is the lady who cleans the rooms. She ended up checking me in on the 3rd day I was there. You do have access to Gabriel through Whats App, so if you need anything, you do have that.

The place is very well located. We walked from the Vatican back to our rooms pretty quickly. We walked to the Colosseum which was a bit of a walk but very doable. There is a very nice restaurant across the street. This is where I had to pick up our keys when we got in the first day. There is a pharmacy around the corner and a small supermarket nearby.

the Inn Rome Rooms and Suites provided nice accommodation for a short Rome break. The location was convenient for Piazza Navona and beyond to the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. We have used this type of suite accommodation before and found other better equipped. The location, whilst good, is not as central as others we've used for less money. In addition, the minibar was empty although the price list indicated that we'd have had to pay for water, even if available. So, in summary, a nice stay but not the best we've experienced.

Fabiana was very nice and apologetic and worked very hard to get our rooms ready and we greatly appreciated it. You can’t beat it for location and walkability. Beds are a bit hard.

Do not stay here. The way that the property manager, G, treated us as customers was completely unprofessional and rude. We let the property know that we would be checking in late weeks in advance, specifically over 5 weeks in advance. They said it would be okay and we could organize a self check-in. We arrived at 10pm and picked up the keys from a bar across the street. Turns out that Rome Inn Rooms forgot to give us the correct key to enter the hallway that would allow us to enter our room. We called the phone number that was given to us over 5 times and no response. An hour later at approximately 11pm, while we were on the phone with Expedia for over 40 minutes, Gabriele arrived and attempted to let us in while acknowledging that we were not given the correct keys. Once he arrived he himself didn’t have the right keys so we had to wait another 30 minutes for us to be let in the room; from 10pm to 11:30pm we were stuck in a country that was completely foreign to us at night with no place to stay. Upon checking out, we got G to acknowledge that it was their mistake that the proper key was not given to us upon arrival, however they did absolutely nothing to compensate us or try to help us out at all. If you want to be treated without respect by the staff that work here, stay here. If you want to not have to worry about not having a place to sleep as a tourist, go elsewhere. Save your stress, save your time, and save your money.

This was a great little eclectic spot. A number of rooms out of what seems like a condo built inside of one of the old buildings with the big wooden door Leading into an interior Courtyard...elevator or walk up to a pleasant room with a modern bath. Small beds were adequate for a 2 night stay. There was storage and a closet but it would have been nice to have something with a few more drawers, but again adequate for our 2 nights day. Lighting in the room was also adequate And pleasant bu it would have been nice to have at least one brighter light somewhere in the room to help with reading. The young lady who acted as the front desk was spectacular. She had limited hours there but was entirely reachable by phone and actually helped us book a ride to the airport. A car service that was very reliable with a great driver, slightly more than a cab but again beautiful car and reliable driver. The biggest plus to this little hotel was the location. Easy walking to the Vatican and the Pantheon As well as a relatively close hop on hop off stop. On the way home the last night we were walking down a snarrow alley which opened up to a great little market place with many restaurants and a restaurants and a gelato shop which must have been fantastic because the line was very long. This was only block or so away from the room but it's something you'd have to ask the staff how to get to as we probably wouldn't have found it on our own down all the little alleyways.

The boutique type hotel was perfect for 2 nights stay. Location was perfectly located and the concierge was amazingly helpful who gave us some great recommendations of places to eat. Was perfect for price.
The only thing I would say is that it’s near a hospital and we could hear ambulances at early hours of the morning, this occurred 3 times over the 2 nights.

The only addition I would suggest since there isn't a dining option for the Inn Rome is to either add a coffee/tea station either in the room or in the common area. You actually have to walk out of the property and down a couple of blocks to get a cup of coffee/tea. Fabiana was amazing and the rooms/location was perfect. The checking in/out process was strange due to the fact they they do not have 24 hour concierge service. The room we were given is NOT the room pictured - the photos make it appear much higher quality than it actually is. Does the job if you're just looking for somewhere to sleep/shower for a few nights (but be ware the shower is extremely tiny - can barely turn around in it). Great area - very close to popular sites, air conditioned; but wifi is basically non-existent.

The hotel local was great, bars, shops,restaurants and main attractions all within walkable distance. Staff friend and helpful, rooms good size, breakfast have to be clear what you want on your order (even Butter and the milk ensure you say you want it). Problems seem to be with water one day we had no cold water then the next day no hot water. Toilet flush consistently goes so was kept awake. Near and Main Street if your not used to traffic noise then this hotel not for you. Value money and staff tried to help and kept in touch via WhatsApp with problems.

We booked the suite and stayed for a long weekend. The hotel has an excellent location and we were able to have nice walks to the pantheon and the museo di roma, there is also the piazza navona nearby which has some great restaurants and entertainment.

The major downpoint for me was the double bed is actually two single beds pushed up together. I don't mind two divan beds but the mattress wasn't a double, so it wasn't comfortable to sleep on if you're here with a partner.

There was a minibar however there wasn't much variety on offer, nice bathroom facilities, AC in the room but this was a little spotty (good enough once it gets going).

Aside from a slightly confused checkout the host Fabiana was great, she contacted me before arriving to offer me a taxi from the airport to the hotel - it's a fixed price so you're not losing our by taking this offer, the price is the same at the airport just a longer wait.

She also booked us a cab back for our return journey which was really helpful.

I would stay again but would love to see the bed changed!

I had the corner room facing the street, so even though the windows were think, you can still hear the traffic. I’m a pretty heavy sleeper.
Seen a few reviews that the breakfast is average. I didn’t have breakfast, there’s a nice place across the road and plenty more around the corner. I went somewhere different every morning.
Bathroom was great. Huge bedroom/living area.

We stayed at the Inn Rome Rooms für 5 days in September. The location is good, albeit reception wasn’t as easy to find as the norm. There wasn’t always someone at the desk, if something was needed, and no real way to contact anyone. When we arrived initially, the desk was empty and it took a while before we found anyone, but once we did, checkin was easy. Whenever she was there, Anna was great. Always cheerful and wanting to be helpful, but the other woman (I think the boss) wasn’t as amenable or friendly. We witnessed her yelling at Anna in the corridor one day, which was inappropriate. Anna seemed to be the entire staff, cleaning rooms, serving breakfast to the room in the morning, etc.; she works hard.

Our 1st floor room was huge and relatively comfortable, with a nice table to sit at for breakfast in the morning; however, the air conditioner in the room was very loud and not as effective as one would hope, especially when sweltering hot outside. We asked it to be looked at or repaired, but nothing changed. The room could have been a lot quieter as we heard the traffic and people on the street, too, despite the loud air conditioning. Normal street traffic is coming in Rome, but the combination of the two made sleeping a bit difficult at times.

Breakfast consisted of coffee or cappuccinos, a croissant, sometimes a crusty roll, and a couple of small pastry squares, yogurt and juice, jams and Nutella. A tray was delivered to the room promptly each morning.

We stayed at Inn Rome for three nights during the week. Coming just for shorts three days we were very happy with the location as we were very close to all the popular attractions walking distance but at the same time few blocks way from the big tourist crowd. The room and bathroom were very clean. Excellent. Plenty of food and shopping places around. The staff were all very friendly and Fabiana was great. She gave us suggestions for places to go, what time in the day etc. She also booked us car service from and to the airport which was very convenient. We will come back at this place again.

The hotel was very nice. The receptionist was very very helpful and friendly. She helped us out with booking the tours etc. The location of the hotel is the biggest plus point for me. Located right in the heart of the city, it enables you to travel Rome by foot, with places such as the Piazza Navona and Pantheon a mere 10 minute walk from the hotel. The Colosseum and Vatican too are decently close, about 20-25 minute walk from the hotel.

The very good location of the hotel meant we could walk everywhere. We didn’t use public transport at all as we were so close to everywhere!

The hotel staff were super nice and helpful.

The room was big, clean and very comfortable.

On the downside: the second person taking a shower got cold water! The breakfast is invluded and they bring it to the room, but compared to other hotels the choice is limited to coffee, juice and a croissant.

Because I only booked one flight through Expedia, the hotel booking was done for only one person. Although I thought this had been changed, I was surprised by an additional bill of €40 and €14 for the city tax.

Considering the great location and a very comfortable stay and great staff with restaurants and bars nearby, I would recommend it and stay here again! It’s good to know what to expect.

Everything was great. The service was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, breakfast good, and location was awesome we walk everywhere. I would love to stay here again. I recommend it

Great price, service and location

We had a great time in Rome and the stay was a part of it. The location is amazing, near to several great restaurants, attractions and good markets. Special props to Ana, which made our stay just fantastic. Amazing service, always smiling and helpful.

The only thing that wasn't spot on was the QC which apparently wasn't working properly, forcing us to leave the windows open and that proved a bit noisy.

All in all, great place to stay. I highly recommend it.

Perfect location

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn Rome Room and Suites. Rooms are larger compared to European standard rooms. Although there is no 24/7 desk, staff are responsive to your needs. Anna is excellent😊. Very helpful and professional. The place is within walking distance to most of Rome’s popular attractions.

Charged without being provided a place to stay

Was told that late check in would be available for a fee if we called them ahead. We tried calling 8 times throughout the day and did not receive a response. When we showed up we were not able to stay at the hotel and the hotel refused to refund our money. The instructions for these late check places say make the booking then arrange the late check in, but clearly that is a trap to steal your money. Afterwards they were extremely unapologetic about it, clearly they are manipulating this policy to take people's money without providing any service.

When in Rome

Nice hotel in a good location.

We are two students travelling round Italy and we found this place. It was a very good price for the location and the rooms were lovely. Entrance to the hotel is very cool too. We did not get the breakfast option so can't comment on that but there are some good restaurants near by.

Good location and a pleasant stay

The best thing I like about this hotel is the location! You can walk to San Pietro, Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, etc. The rooms are basic, but nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful! We didn't go for breakfast in the hotel, so can't say anything about the food there. Overall, it's a nice place and I would recommend to stay there!

This hotel was amazing. Small but all we needed. It was even 1/2 mile walk to the Pantheon. The check-in was easy and Fabiana was very nice and easy to work with. We stayed in contact with the WhatsApp app the whole time. The rooms were fantastic and big. The bathrooms were too. Everything was very clean. If I return to Rome, I will definitely stay here again. Couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable stay. Thank you Fabiana for sharing your place with us for a few days!

Inn Rome is much more than a great bargain.

Good apartments need some improvments

Lift is still out of order and breakfast was so and so. Toast always arrived cold and we were served yoghurt which had passed its expire date by weeks. These small improvements would help a lot. Otherwise it is very well situated and convenient. We had a junior suite which was quite ok. Our daughter only managed an ordinary room whicheas too small for a couple with a baby.

No Lift = Nightmare

We stayed in Rome for a week. The hotel was quite good. The only problem that we encountered was that there was no lift available and since we travel all the family we had to lift the pushchair every time we entered or left the hotel and itwas quite a hassle

The Inn Rome Rooms and Suites was for us the perfect choice for our stay in Rome. Our biggest mistake is we didn’t plan enough time in Rome, which is ok, it only means we will need to return. The location of this hotel could not have been better. We easily walked from the hotel to several sights from the Colosseum to the Vatican City. Our window overlooked the busy street with a wonderful restaurant just across with the best pasta. We went to the local store for cheese, bread, olives and wine and one night sat at our window experiencing all the activity while enjoying our taste of Rome. Fabiana and her staff were so nice and helpful, everything about our stay they made easy. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quite (with the windows closed). We will stay here again on our next visit!

Hidden treasure!

Great service! From the first day I arrived till the last day I stayed in I was treated with respect and courtesy from Fabiana and the hotel's staff. I was given a map which made it easier to go around and the location of the hotel helped me even more. It is located in the center of Rome walking distance to everything from The Basilic of St. Peter to the right side of the hotel (5-10min), The wonderful Colesseum (15-20 min) and Piazzas all around the area! If I ever go back to Rome I would definetely stayed in The Rome Inn. Fabiana the hotel manager checked on me daily via texts messages to make sure I was ok or if I needed anything. This made me feel safe since the first two days I was staying by myself till my brother arrived to Rome. Overall, I had a great time staying at this hotel. I will miss the daily and delicious morning breakfast brought to my room and the comfortable bed.
Thank You Fabiana and rest of the staff. You did a great job! Hope to come back again.
