Charge 308 is located near major attractions, shopping and restaurants. It is a 10 minute walk to the Vatican city and surrounding museums. The staff were friendly and helpful. Services was awesome. my room were super clean with modern design. I felt very at home here. I would return again and highly recommend Charme 308.

A nice finding in Rome

We had a great stay at Charme 308. The room was spacious, very clean, and the location is excellent. It’s on a busy street, but we couldn’t hear any outside noise. Veronica was very helpful in providing us some nice suggestions of places to eat. I hope to be back soon.

We had a lovely stay at Charme, our room was spacious, clean and tidy with much needed AC, and the reception staff was very responsive and quick in communication. The location was prime as well for visiting all famous spots in Rome. 10/10 ⭐️

What a hidden gem this place is. Placed close to St. Peter’s, I can walk anywhere from here, or take a bus from the bus stop right or the front door. The room was clean, modern, and had a great view. Honestly recommend this place to anyone staying in Rome.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B. The rooms were comfortable, and everything was well-maintained. The location is very convenient for visiting the Vatican, as it’s just a short walk away. Additionally, most of the major attractions are easily accessible either on foot or by taking a quick public bus ride, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.

Perfect hotel for 1 week in Rome

Had a wonderful stay for a full week in Rome at Charme 308! The staff communicated with us leading up to our arrival and shared some great cafe, lunch and dinner recommendations for us in the area when we arrived. The area was very safe, away from large busy crowds, and easy access to many restaurants and shopping within 5 minutes. All sites were within a 25 minute walk or less. The room was very comfortable, clean, and had regular cleaning days if you needed new towels or bedding. Snacks, water, and single serve espresso machine is in the lobby area. We had the balcony room so we had double door enclosures. With the windows open it could be very noisy at night, but the doors were sound proof and quiet. Would highly recommend and stay there again!

We loved our room and the staff was very friendly! The only thing that was not as desirable was the very busy street, however that is not a reflection of the hotel and more so the whole city of Rome. We would stay again due to the amenities and comfortable bed!

Amazing Time in Roma

A little confusing initally to go in but once we were able to contact the property, everything was crystal clear. Veronica was the staff who met us and let us in and explained not only the property but almost the whole of Rome already! Having a city map on hand was super helpful, the waiting area with the nespresso machine was key, and even the snacks out in the area was a godsend especially when hitting the city extra early :) within stone's throw of so many key locations, and with bus stops a-plenty (even the Hop-On tours were just around the corner!), the rooms were on point, comfortable and had a quaint little balcony which sadly we didn't use (for next time!)

Loved the place, loved the city - amazing weekend for us. :)

Exactly what we were looking for. Perfect!

Room was very spacious and clean. We had a king bed plus there was room for one more person on the large sofa bed. The location is close to all the main attractions, restaurants and a local market. We walked everywhere. The hospitality we received from Veronica was like we were family. I would definitely be back and recommend to our friends and family.

Luxurious room in a central location

Before arriving we were in contact with the staff to confirm arrival time via WhatsApp. We ended up being quicker through the airport than we expected, but it was easy to send a quick text in the taxi to let them know we would be slightly earlier, which was no problem. We were welcomed on arrival and given great recommendations for walking routes and places to eat.

The room was absolutely spotless, huge, bright and airy. The room was cleaned daily, to pristine condition every time. Air conditioning was easy to use, quiet at night, and worked well.

The street outside is busy all day from morning to late evening but the windows are totally soundproofed so we were never disturbed, even on nights where we went to sleep early for a 6am start the next morning.

The location is perfect for exploring Vatican City, and Corso Vittorio Emanuele II allows for walking directly elsewhere in the city. There is a Carrefour Express shop a few doors down, and as many coffee shops convenience shops as you could need within the immediate vicinity.

We had a fabulous stay, and we will certainly be back.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the accommodation itself was clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located for both visiting Rome's landmarks on the East side of the river, as well as the Vatican City on the West side. Staff are great, friendly and very helpful.
Location is great, many restaurants options around the hotel. Walking distance to attractions.
The hotel is so clean, new bedrooms, beds are very comfortable and clean. Washrooms are so clean.
There are always snacks in the small lobby, a coffee, tea and espresso machine. The plates, cups and utensils and displayed nicely in a glass cupboard. It’s a fantastic place.

The place was very nice. They gave us access to full kitchenware, electric kettle, and an expresso machine. They supplied coffee, twinings, and biscuits. The staff was really nice and the place was VERY convienently located, just a walk away from the vatican, the pantheon, and the night life. I minimart was literally 30 seconds from our room and open until 2am. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

The staff was helpful and responsive before we even arrived. We had a large room, with large and comfortable beds. The room was beautifully decorated with a sitting room in front of the rooms. The location was perfect and we walked to everything we wanted to see all week. It was secure with a locked door at the street, at the front of the 4 rooms, and our room had another lock. It was a little hot at night, and it took us a while to figure out the shower so we didn’t soak the floor, but I highly recommend this place and we would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was wonderful. The room was immaculately clean and had a view of Castel Sant'Angelo. The staff is friendly and attentive when they are onsite. Reception has limited hours and amenities are few. Wifi was great and the location was perfect. I would stay here again.

Me and my boyfriend adored this property, i asked for a little something to make it special as it was my boyfriends birthday and they set out balloons and wine at our arrival which I was over the moon about. Everything we wanted and asked for they were willing to help and make our stay the best it could be. I am very happy with the way we were treated. Thank you.

Wonder stay. It's a shared appartment you get a room and private shower but shared lounge room. The rooms are huge and beautiful very modern. Ice cold air conditioning. Has a safe and fridge. Perfect location walking distance to all and great restaurants around.

Cons: we had trouble finding the reception needs better instructions, also the key to the main building didn't work well and we got locked out lucky a guy that lives in the building gave us the keypad code to help us get in without the key 2 others in the apartment also got locked out like us.

The location of this guesthouse is great. It is located really close to the Vatican but also close to some fantastic restaurants and bars. It's on a very busy road but the sound proofing is good to the street.

Unfortunately, because it's a block with private apartments, we were rudely awoken most nights by noise above and one night by other guests.

The room was smaller than the picture looked but it's modern, bed is comfortable and bathroom is fine. You only get shower gel which doubles as shampoo so if this is important to you, take your own!

I read another review beforehand about access and check in as i don't think it's manned all the time, so when our flight was delayed, i dropped them a line to inform them, which was acknowledged immediately.

Overall, good value, great location but be aware of potential noise.

Wonderful guest house, no faults!

The location of this guesthouse is amazing, everything you will want to visit is within walking distance. As soon as we got there we were checked in quickly and were show a map whilst given a detailed and very helpful explanation of what/where everything was and the best routes to take. The room was just like the photos and very clean and plush. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, they reply very quickly to messages too. Honestly can’t fault this place, definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Rome. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

Great little hotel

We had a wonderful stay. the location is close to everything but not to touristic, the design is modern, the room was very clean and comfortable, the bed was big, loved the shower and the room was well heated. the only comment is that it was a little bit colder in the shower and that the hotel is located in a main street so it could be a little bit noisy, but only at day time when there are ambulances in the street. I'm a light sleeper and I slept great. The check in and lobby services are in another room on the same floor.

Incredibly nice staff. The photos are accurate depictions of what the rooms look like. Everything was very clean and modern. The room was spacious. Good coffee in the morning in the common area. The staff made me feel really at home, with polite and genuine smiles. I hope to stay again!

Charme 308 was charming

This property was excellently situated within reasonable walking distance of Vatican area , piazza navona, pantheon and Trevi fountain. Many restaurants /cafes nearby including great bakery and gelato. The room looked newly decorated. Very clean. Spacious. Private. Staff available during day however they willingly accommodated our after hour check in when I emailed to inform them. There are a few stairs. Breakfast is available for nominal extra fee but we opted to head out early to try local bakery and cafe. We would stay again.
