the bed kept falling apart down the middle and made sleeping near impossible. you spend two extra minutes to put the sheets on differently or get a different bed frame to fix this problem but no. ridiculous.

The view from this room was outstanding and the location was superb! Even though it is located on the main road next to the Tiber River, it was very quiet and we slept very well! The bed was comfortable as were the pillows and our room was cleaned everyday. The bathroom was a bit peculiar with the slanted ceiling and the half shower door but we made it work! It was always cleaned as well so we cannot complain. The espresso machine in the hallway was a perfect was to start our morning! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for having us!

I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with such warmth and genuine hospitality that I immediately felt at home. The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, with every detail thoughtfully curated to create a cozy and relaxing experience.
The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable—one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. You can really tell the owners take pride in maintaining a high standard of care and comfort for their guests.

The property is not really a Hotel, more an AirBNB apartment solo style inside a building. I guess the owner bought a few rooms and turned them into AirBNB style. Therefore, there is no real amenities there. The room itself served its purpose as we were there mostly for sleeping, but it was small, cramped, no desk to work on the computer (I had to use the "hotel" desk for that. but the location is good. Close to the Vatican and other interests place in Rome, restaurant, stores, etc. This, no problem. Just don't mind the place and just use it to sleep.

I recommend this perfect location for a fantastic stay while in Rome. Everything is in excellent walking distance and has excellent cafes and restaurants near by. Staff was friendly and professional. Room was perfect for myself with a very clean room with a large comfortable bed. Cleaned daily perfectly.

I personally took a single room with a queen size bed, I appreciated the clean , spacious room , it was adequate for my simple needs, I prefer to explore the city and need a comfortable place, clean and quiet for my rest. They met and exceeded those needs. A strong recommendation for a nice budget friendly stay, while you enjoy everything Rome has to offer.

No breakfast, but it’s okay since there’s lots of cafes nearby. Location is unbeatable. A bit noisy since it’s right on the busy street but the convenience of the location again made it worth it. 10 min from Vatican, 2 min from Castel Angelo, and there are so many cafes and restaurants around by walking. The amenities were okay - our bathroom was incredibly small and the ceiling was low. Our first night was in a weird basement type of room which was very uncomfortable and noisy but thankfully the staff was very nice and changed us to another room which was more comfortable, despite the tiny bathroom. Edoardo at front desk was very kind and made things very easy.

La Residenza dell Angelo is a five star class for me and my husband. We stayed whole 2 weeks without any kind of issue. Location is excellent.we stayed in the guest gouse lication which is licated on the main street next to the Tiber river. We can see the Castle of Sant Michaelangelo from our window. Less than a km from the Vatican, inportant landmarks such as the Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Vatican Museums, are walkable. Lots of good restaurants few feet away.
Room was spacious, bathroom was modern, bed very comfortable. Taxi and Uber are easy to hire from the location. We had a wonderful time. Mikaela, the contact person promptly responded to questions. She is awesome.

And due to the room's location next to the front desk/door, the frequent comings-and-goings and conversations made it rather noisy.

The room was completely different from any of the pictures displayed online. It was old, with dirty wallpaper and very outdated.
The bathroom was appalling with the toilet sistern having no lid and as a result when it was flushed it sprayed water all over the bathroom- the cistern was an old style one and was high up on the ceiling meaning water went everywhere, additionally with each flush the toilet made a crazy drill like sound that would wake up anyone in rooms above or below.
The sinks fossets also leaked loads of water anytime they were turned on. Tiles were cracked and dirty.
The room was extremely uncomfortable and for the first time ever I booked an alternative accommodation because this room was so bad.
We did approach the management company and go were unbothered and unsurprised saying to us they knew there were issues in other rooms they were renting but didn’t know about this one. Their only offer to help was that on the last day of our trip they could move us to an alternative accommodation but we would have to stay where we were until then.
I couldn’t recommend more not to stay here - I promise you will be so disappointed!!

The room was good, it would have been nice if the television worked, We asked and were promised a tech who never appeared, after many hours I went and purchased batteries (5 E ) When we mentioned it we were offered to change rooms, (It could have been easier), I took the batteries with me, so the issue is still yours to address.

Pictures in listing were not representative of property. Room was extremely small. The “residence” was inside an apartment building and the rooms were subdivided into smaller rooms. Front desk was not accessible. I was emailed prior to the stay to reach out to an individual Mikaela regarding the check in process. I reached out to her both via text and email and did not hear back. Upon arrival, around 4pm front desk was already done for the day so I had to call Mikaela for further check instructions. Once in the room the bathroom floor was disgusting (pictured versus the wall to show) and the room had enough room for just a bed.

Great spot for exploring Rome, AC could be better

The hotel in Rome was very nice, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The location was excellent within walking distance to the Vatican and many of the city’s main attractions, which made exploring so easy.

The only downside was the heat. Rome was very hot during our stay, and unfortunately the room stayed warm even with the AC running. When we first arrived, the AC had been turned off, so the room was especially uncomfortable at the start. That part wasn’t ideal, but aside from that, everything else about the stay was enjoyable.

It is just a 15-minute walk away from the St. Peter's Basilica. So close! The only concern is the noise, if you stay on the 1st floor. The street's light is piercing through the curtain! So we have to sleep backward/facing the wall on our bed to avoid the street light. Other than that, it is a quiet and safe place!

This place was misrepresented. The photos did not match up with our accommodations. It was shabby, not clean in the second room our girls were in, the shower leaked. Tiles cracked in bathroom, shower door looks like it hasn’t been clean in months. The bathroom in the second bedroom was ridiculously small, knees hit wall when on toilet, shower did not work. I was not happy at all, no one around to talk to. When calling, never answered. The only good thing about this place was the location. I would not recommend anyone stay here. I feel like I was ripped off-should have charged $100/night not over $250. The closet in the loft had creepy dolls and a storage tote under a bed. Also one of the rooms was locked unable to use the whole facility.

Great location to explore Rome

This "hotel" is in a great location. You can walk to all the key sites within Rome. From the Vatican to the Colosseum. These converted apartments are decently spacious and have two key amenities (AC and a lift) that make the stay easier. Only disadvantages were that the extra beds in the Family Room are very small and parking is not great as the recommended parking garage isn't the easiest or cheapest to use.

We stayed at the property for two nights. The only good thing about the property was the location. Everything else was extremely disappointing and misleading. The pictures showed online are highly photo-shopped. The property was in terrible condition with creepy art. Everything looked abandoned, but the most concerning thing is that the door handle was broken and someone could have easily come in the room. It is overpriced for what they offer. Location is definetely important, but it does not justify the condition of the room.

Super close to Vatican city and Castle San Angelo and its beautiful bridge. A Hop-on hop off service counter on the corner of the street annd it’s stop and a 15 minute walk to the entrance of St-Peter’s Basilica. Lift available to move to the upper floors of the building. We had a larger space but it seemed more like someone’s apartment than a hotel room. Good air conditioning and easy self check out. They were very helpful with storage of luggage. No breakfast or restaurant on the premises.

The area is nice, really close to the Vatican. Lots of restaurants and dinig options. The room itself is nothing special, clean, basic amenities. They definitely need to invest into new hangers. We had a really old cabinet with only 3 hangers. Decent option for the price. I would recommend if if you are planning on spending most of your time exploring the area. Communcation with the owner was difficult. She was not very responsive to messages.

The hotel is really not bad. We ended up in the other property by the busy street. But even we were by the street, we did not heat traffic during busy days. It's on the first floor. I was initially kind of disappointed at first because I kind of wanted to stay on the property that they showed on expedia. But it turned out to be very convenient. Very easy to get in and get out. There are 2 security doors to enter before we reach our room. There were only a few rooms in that property. No stairs to climb which was very nice. The A/C works very well but you have to make sure you know the Celcius/Fahrenheit conversion. I made a mistake in setting to 18C and it went to 18C(61F) while we were sleeping. There were four of us and it was a decent size. Not very elegant but it's good enough for having a place to stay. We only stayed in the room to sleep anyway. The shower was the only thing that was kind of disappointing. First, the shower head would not stay up. I had to use a small towel to tie it up to the top frame to stay up. Second, the glass cover which only covers 1/3 of the bath tub so whenever I took a shower, a lot of water splashed into the floor and made the floor very slippery. The second commode in the bathroom still does not make sense to me but I guess that's an Italian thing. Overall, I recommend this to someone who just need a place to stay and not looking for elegant style room. It is very convenient.

Pros:
- Very convenient location, it’s 5 minute walk to Vatican City, very good deal for this prime location I will say.
Cons:
- The was a little hiccup during checkin, we booked a quadruple room(for only 2 person) because we want a bigger space, but they assign us a standard double room. After point this out, the host immediately realize her mistake was very nice and refund us the difference between the 2 type of rooms. We are good with this resolution.
- The hotel has rooms in different buildings. The standard room we were given is on the ground floor of another building right beside the street(Lungotevere degli Altoviti) across castle saint Angelo. Good thing- you get to see the castle right from the window, bad thing- super noisy at night. Me and my bf were very sensitive to the noise and could not sleep at night. And it turns out it would be much better if we were correctly assign the original quadruple room we booked since that room is in the same building as the reception and not ground floor, not beside a noisy street. So if you are sensitive to noises like us, be careful with booking this hotel - consider bring earbuds and maybe ask them not to give you the room beside street.
A few other facts:
- Make sure to bring cash, for the 10 EUR city tax they only take cash at this moment
- Parking is very expensive, it’s a third party parking, we bargained and paid 45EUR but later on the hotel told us we could get 40EUR if we insisted
- breakfast is not included

Property is great other then the bathroom as it is vaulted down and the door is also vaulted down. If you are over 5 feet it’s difficult without hitting your head. Shower ceiling needs refreshing and shower head kept slipping down. Other than the bathroom property is excellent and staff are great. Location is great minutes away from Vatican City. Joshua was great in assisting us with a taxi as the trains were on strike. Great guy!!!

The property is located directly across from the Castelo del Angelo. There are two buildings. The room was spacious and clean. At the time we checked in, the room had no hot water, but Joshua took care of the problem right away. The staff could not have been more friendly. I forgot my convertor and they were more than happy to lend me one. The only drawback to the room was that it was on the ground level and very noisy. Other than that I could not have been happier with my choice to stay here.

Location is amazing for the Vatican and being in the middle of many things. In the room we had, we could hear our neighbors (and presume they could hear us also). Also, the room we had was very close to the main street and there were many sirens through the course of the day and early night. Staff was very wonderful and kind and the room had everything we needed.

Well I think I should’ve checked out their pics a bit better. The room we had was made for tiny people. Our bathroom was under a stairwell so we had to duck down in half of the room. There was ZERO space to set anything on in the bathroom and the shower was only useable near one side as the ceiling was slanted due to the stairwell. our room was downstairs with the top of the window at street level. And what a VERY BUSY street it was!! Not at all quiet! On the positive side, room was clean and bed was ok.

The property was in a very good location with Castello de Angelo across the street, the Vatican and Plaza Navona were about 15-20 min away walking. A lot of souvenir stores and restaurants close by. However, we were moved to their new property half a block away and the room had a window facing the street just below the sidewalk so there was a lot of street noise until midnight. The people on the upstairs also made a lot of banging noise from about 6:30 am until 11am and talked nonstop from about 9:30 pm to Midnight. Other than this we liked our room. The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Our stay with Mikaela was absolutely wonderful! The only reason that it was a 4 star instead of a 5 star was due to the smell in the room. It is not Mikaela’s fault at all! But because our room faced the back of a the restaurant next door, we experienced the smell of grease in our room every night. However, us being daughters of a restaurant owner, we were used to the smell. Everything else was fantastic! This location is EVERYTHING. We are New Yorkers so we prefer to walk everywhere. For anywhere that we couldn’t walk, almost every bus stopped nearby the home. Our favorite restaurant nearby was O’Pazzariello. A 2 minute walk and open late. We went there 2 of our our 6 nights! Simone was also so helpful with checkin and making sure our room was cleaned every day. Thank you for such a great time! We would come back again with our family and stay at one of the larger suites!

The property was amazing. The staff are amazing. They are so sweet and kind, and will accommodate all of your needs. The rooms are so clean, and had an extremely comfortable bed, with luxury bedding/comforter. They know Rome well, they can and will help you with absolutely anything. I travel to Rome often and definitely will come back here. Vatican is a 5 min walk, and so many amazing locations within a 5-10 min walk. Lots of food and cafe close by. I fell in love with the place and the staff, the woman there is so kind and amazing. Thanks for the wonderful stay !!!

An absolutely must stay! This lovely property was spacious and literally in the middle of everything! We walked to the Vatican, Pantheon, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and many other fabulous landmarks. Excellent restaurants all around the area! If I could give 10 stars I would. Fabulous staff. Will be returning!!

Area was great! Safe, lots of restaurants and grocery for our apartment. The only negative was the bathroom shower head needs cleaning, and we needed help to properly operate the water in the shower. Mikaela and Darrio were great and attended to all our needs. Will stay again if we visit Rome!
