Fantastic stay at Passepartout, the room was spotlessly clean and bigger than I expected from the photos. The shower was great and there was plenty of room in the bathroom. All the staff were so lovely and the location was amazing, right in the heart of everything and easy to walk to everywhere. Having said that the room was quiet at night so the perfect combination. Great café opposite the front door for breakfast and lots of restaurants nearby. If I visit Rome again, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Loved this hotel. Clean and well-maintained. Old world charm with a friendly staff. Entrance is on a narrow street, almost an alley, and was barely marked, but that made it feel like it was our own apartment in the heart of Rome. Great assortment of restaurants and shops within only a hundred meters or so on the same street, both left and right from the hotel entrance. Walking distance (<1.2 KM) of most of the major tourist sites in Rome. It rained a lot while we were there, but there was a taxi stand right around the corner. Front desk is only manned from 08:45 AM to 7:00 PM, so plan in advance if you need to check out outside of those hours. Great place.

This property is an excellent choice. My family stayed in the two bedroom condo which was comfortable, clean and safe. We were able to walk to the major areas of Rome and many excellent dining options. There is even a grocery store where we bought breakfast items and snacks. The staff arranged excellent airport pickup and Taxi to train station to travel to our next adventure. The staff was able to answer our travel questions. Look no further for the best place to stay in Rome. Most of all felt safe. We will book again .

The location was ideal for is as we wanted to be in the heart of everything which we were! The check in was not your typical desk with staff. We met the two very helpful ladies and got an explanation of the area and the key to the room. The room was adequate for size and bathroom - no view from the room but we were not planning on spending much time in the room as there was too much to see in Rome! There was a wonderful street Bar right outside our door that we finished off every night by visiting. We were in our “hood” we said but very safe feeling area with nightlife all around. The cost for the room was inexpensive so if you are not looking for luxury then this is a very good option. We would stay here again.

This was our second time staying at Passepartout and the service was again very good. We had three rooms for a large family vacation and all three were great - especially the apartment. The beds could be a little more comfortable but otherwise all good. My parents had a little problem with the water temperature and pressure consistency but it was only in their room. AC was excellent in all rooms - and it was HOT in Rome.

Amazing place in every regard - I would definitely stay again. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, location was amazing, walking distance to all major historical sites, and food, and the complementary breakfast was at a nearby restaurant and was beyond delicious and generous. Great location. Just 5 minute walk to Piazza Navona. Had an elevator that would take you in between floors which is better than no elevator at all! It was also really cool to see part of the original centuries old building exposed in the staircase wall! The units were clean and minimalist. We booked two one-bedroom units. The staff was super helpful! There’s no kitchen or kitchenette. Just mini fridge, electric kettle. This was something that Expedia did a poor job of filtering out as Inwas only looking for accommodations that had kitchens. They provided complimentary tea and water which is nice. Great American breakfast spot right across the street. Beds were comfortable including the sofabed. Our units were street facing so it was quite noisy in the mornings with truck deliveries. If there were areas of improvements they would be to provide more bathroom counter space, more table surfaces in the bedroom, lighting in the mirrored nook and a full length mirror. Despite being located on a small street, it was still accessible by taxi.

The hotel is in a great area, busy and lively, but totally quiet when you get inside. A very short walk away is a bus stop with direct route to the station, and non stop train to/ from the airport. It couldn't have been more straightforward. The room was immaculate, and best of all the chap who welcomed us took a lot of time to talk through a map of the city, taking on board what we had pre-booked and giving recommendations on what else we could do. We followed his hints almost to the letter and they were absolutely spot on. We saw some wonderul sights and had some super food! So, a very big thank you from us, we had a superb time in Rome and recommend your hotel highly.

Very conveniently centrally located on the 64 bus route from Rome Termini. The room was very clean, tastefully decorated in a modern but simple style. The bathroom was a great size and spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend. As with many of these apartment buildings there are many stairs although there is a lift to every other floor. Passepartout is a simple guesthouse without a lot of in room amenities but it makes up for it with a perfect central location and excellent service. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very accommodating when i asked for extra pillows and separate duvets. The great parts: the location was just perfect. The staff was great especially Charmaine and Marvin who were very helpful.
The not so great parts: the place is a bit dated, but it was okay. The main problem although is not the fault of the host, but there was a lot of construction next to our building that started around 7AM. One night in the apartment above us there was a lot happening at 4:00 AM so getting some sleep was problematic.
