Always a great value for money hotel and location for staying. I cannot recommend the Hotel enough for their rooms and excellent service. Mohammed was very kind to sort out an issue with my booking that was entirely my fault. I look forward to staying many more times here.

Lovely suite at a very good price. Really good facilities, friendly staff and a decent location. Wi-Fi also included. The only thing to be aware of is there's a code for the main door out of hours which changes regularly. They'll give you the current code at check-in but it would make more sense if they gave you the new code as well if you're going to be staying through the changeover period.

Unkomfortable Betten und problematischer Check-in

Ich habe kürzlich in diesem Hotel übernachtet und obwohl ich auf ein angenehmes Erlebnis gehofft hatte, gab es mehrere Probleme, die unseren Aufenthalt beeinträchtigten. Zunächst war der Check-in-Prozess alles andere als reibungslos. Trotz unserer nächtlichen Ankunft war niemand an der Rezeption und es gab keine klaren Anweisungen, wie wir vorgehen sollten. Ich musste das Hotel mehrmals (etwa 4 oder 5 Mal) anrufen, nur um herauszufinden, wie ich einchecken kann. Dieses anfängliche Hindernis legte einen Ton der Unannehmlichkeiten für unseren Aufenthalt fest.

Darüber hinaus war die Qualität der Betten äußerst enttäuschend. Es ist schon lange her, dass ich Betten erlebt habe, die so abgenutzt und unbequem waren. Eine gute Nachtruhe ist eine grundlegende Erwartung bei jedem Hotelaufenthalt, und leider entsprachen diese Betten nicht einmal den Grundstandards.

Ich verstehe, dass jedes Hotel seine schlechten Tage haben könnte, aber bestimmte grundlegende Annehmlichkeiten und Dienstleistungen, wie ein reibungsloser Check-in-Prozess und komfortable Betten, sind unverzichtbar. Ich hoffe, dass Hotel dieses Feedback berücksichtigt und die notwendigen Verbesserungen für zukünftige Gäste vornimmt.

Absolutely great hotel to stop in. We were there overnight, 5 adults in 3 rooms; 1 was a disabled member of the family. The staff were fantastic at sorting out the rooms and the following mornings breakfast arrangements. The rooms were clean and everything was there that should’ve been.
The only pair of annoying things that were missing was: 1) coffee & tea making facilities in each room;
2) Air conditioning. The night we stayed was nearly 30C and we slept with the balcony door wide open, unfortunately some of the local bugs decided I was going to be their banquet for the night.

Website pictures very promising but in the real nothing like it, very disappointing. Staff not particular friendly and disorganised, breakfast at 8am ok but at 9.30am hardly anything left to eat, Luxury Double Room not particular clean with an awful bathroom, gym in poor condition, carpeted floor in hotel absolutely filthy. The hotel need a proper update in 21 century.

Cracking little hotel, very quiet, parking was free, but as we arrived late had to park on the street. The level of service is excellent, especially at this price. Rooms nice and large, beds okay but would have liked extra pillows, but thats a minor issue. Would happily stay again

Lovely hotel. I couldn't believe the size of the apartment! Had everything we needed to prepare our own cooked food. Bus travel was easy. Breakfast was perfect, plenty of hot and cold to choose from. Would recommend.

Simple but yet OK.

Needed a quick stop on our way to Düsseldorf, found this on the way. Great size for 2 adults and 2 kids. Kitchen was great to have, but only had 2 wine glasses. Internet was unavailable due to technical issues. Breakfast was very good.

Excellent 1-Night Business Stopover

2nd time I have stayed here on a one-night solo stopover for work, food was excellent as always and staff spoke perfect English and very helpful, despite my late arrival and hunger! Shower was powerful, beds clean and comfortable, WiFi fast enough and free with no limit on device numbers, only thing is room doesn't seem to have aircon and it had been hot (29C) recently but staff had left windows open to cool room and was OK, any hotter though and it may have been uncomfortable! But hotel is excellent value for 4* in Germany.

The hotel is very conveniently located for my purposes which makes up for the basic rooms that could benefit from a remodel.
The restaurant is way better than I would expect in such a small town, creative ideas combined with interesting combinations of food types.

Ultimate value for money plus amazing food!

Great hotel at affordable price for the family of four. Perhaps to many rough edges and glass for very young children, but overall very good experience - a lot of space and fridge in the room. The restaurant is OUT of THIS EARTH!!! Go there yourself and try!

We booked a room for two adults + 1 child including breakfast. It was the first time, that we had a parking right in front of the door..and for free..The staff was really nice and helpful. We expected a double room with x-tra bed, but in fact, it was an appartement with living room, kitchenette, bed couch and extra bedroom. COOOOOLLLL...The only things I missed, the TV in the bedroom and a bath tub..but we are too spoiled. It was really nice and we are defintely coming back!!!

On arrival, they had no notification off my booking from 'HOTELS.COM', they had room and offered us an apartment, they then asked if I was paying now or when we leave. I informed them that I had already paid Hotels.com, and showed them the confirmation email from Hotels.com, they said that if I could leave the confirmation with them, we could go to our apartment and they would sort everything out, together with setting our apartment out for 3 people sleeping in the apartment. This was done with great efficiency and all finished well, but I was put in an awkward position at the desk and felt embarrassed at what was Hotels.com's error.

the best hotel we have stayed at.

I stayed with my family in suite 429, it was spacious, clean,with everything we could want and need to feel like home from home. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the restaurant and bar was great, and the food was excellent. All in a nice neighbourhood with plenty of parking for cars, and large motorhomes.
Probably the best hotel overall that we have stayed at. Thank you.

Nice hotel, easy to find. Reception, very nice, staff very nice. Rooms great, spacious and well appointed. Booked an apartment for £ 130 for two of us and two kids, got two rooms with two double beds, one living area, one kitchen and two bathrooms. Only had drinks in the bar, when out for dinner. Breakfast was excellent with a vast selection for all tastes. Would recommend and stay again. A very good experience and happy customer!

not a four star what so ever

the hotel is monopolizing the otel busienss. it is an older building ,one small lift , not accesable for wheel chairs and or strollers in the upper levels. comfortable and clean beds.rate is way too high for the kind of hotel. staff is nice, breakfast is limited but ok. price should be at least 35% less than what they charge. If I HAVE to I will stay there again.

The Atlanta Hotel Dampfmuehle is a perfect choice for a family. We booked an apartment type room and were given two large rooms with a kitchen. There is also a free breakfast which is great. Very nice hotel with a very helpful and friendly staff. We would stay here again.

Large Room

If you want a quiet and large room just outside Krefeld and Dusseldorf this is an excellent choice. The rooms are much larger than you would expect in Europe. In addition they had multiple television stations in 4 different languages. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The only negative is the price did not include breakfast.

La verdad me ha gustado y está bien un precio regularmente justo podía mejorar pero está bien lo único que no había material de cocina para cocinar tampoco servicio y toallas y mantas cada día hay que cambiar las sábanas y mantas y cubiertas lo demás regular algunas cosas bien por eso le doy lo que se merece y digo lo que es y se puede mejorar mejor y ánimo a que con los huéspedes descubran lo que cada uno le gusta tener así que es buen hotel y buena estancia

Waren zeer tevreden zeker aan de prijs dat we betaalde! Goede ontvangst, appartement geboekt om zelf te kunnen koken, zeer groot, verouderd maar netjes, goed bed. Geen airco , keuken basic, misten microgolfoven.
Omgeving rustig, mooie restaurants in omgeving.
Er zijn ook gerenoveerde kamers!

Bra rum för priset, väldigt välstädat! Då det var rejäl värmebölja hade personalen förberett ett annat rum än åt oss som var mindre varmt än det vi bokat, vilket vi verkligen uppskattade.
Tråkigt att restaurangen var stängd, men vi fick bra rekommendationer på matställen av personalen.

Das Hotel ist an sich in Ordnung, Frühstück zu empfehlen. Leider ist der Schallschutz der Fenster in Richtung Straße absolut ungenügend, so dass mein Schlaf stark eingeschränkt war. Ich wohne selbst an einer befahrenen Straße in einer Stadt in einem Altbau, bin also was gewohnt…. Die Matratze war etwas schief durchgelegen, aber prinzipiell noch o.k..

Es roch merklich nach Zigarettenrauch im Hotel und Zimmer. Dusche undicht und Schimmelbefall. Es war recht laut, sowohl durch die Straße, als auch im Hotel selbst. Rezeption nicht dauerhaft besetzt. Probleme mit der Rechnung.
Früchstück, welches von einem angrenzenden Restaurant angeboten wurde, war gut.
