This was our fourth stay at the Fiesta and any time we are in the “heart of Santo Domingo” this is THE place for us to stay. We love the staff, the rooms are very nice, especially if you get the renovated floors (the unrenovated feel like the late 1990’s although they are clean and the beds are definitely new). The included breakfast is delicious, pool area is really nice and the location to important sites is as good as it can be for Santo Domingo traffic. This hotel does an EXCELLENT job of taking care of its customers and we plan to stay here again…

The room appeared to have mildew or mold in the ceiling of the bathroom. The details on my stay included 2 people, however, at arrival hotel staff required an additional daily rate for a second person. I was told the 8th floor bar from 5pm-7pm was open bar. When i used that opportunity i was charged for my drinks. I was told i did not order drinks from a specific menu. When drinks were ordered from that menu it appeared to have no alcohol.

Very nice hotel. Rugs are a bit outdated. Food buffet was very nice, all the staff were very friendly. Great outdoor sport facility like soccer, pickleball, tennis, large pool, jacuzzi and large gym. Close to main center and taxis were cheap. I had no complaints. Very inexpensive.

Chiara was such a delight. She checked us in and out the next day. She smiled the whole way through both transactions. She was so helpful and friendly. Omairy was also at the desk offering helpful hints about the hotel and our stay. Their interaction at check in set the stage for a lovely stay. Both ladies are an asset to the hotel. The buffet was nice. The grounds and building and room are clean and well kept.

Upon arrival i was greeted by 4 different mosquito bites during checkin
The bathroom
1 didnt have wash towles
2 the toilet seat cover was smaller than the bowl and didnt fit
3 most importantly there was no hot water to take a shower and in the morning there wasnt again and i was instructed to let the water run like i was in a camping trip and not at a hotel
4 the shower door didnt close and the entire floor became soaked. In the morning my wife almost fell from the water
5 the balcony doors didnt close and didnt fit properly
6 duat or something else kept coming out of the air ducts that i had to take an alergy pill to stop coughing

I usually stay at El Embajador and was there for the beginning of my trip. I wanted to give this place a try since it was only one night but that was a huge mistake. I do not recommend this place to anyone. My single nigh was February 10th-11th 2026

Tough beginning, we requested a room with king size bed, was told it wasn’t available. After much deliberation we finally got a room with a king size bed only find out the refrigerator didn’t work, a technician came and said it would be replaced the following day.
My wife then proceeded to take a shower only to realize there was a bad water leak in the bathroom ceiling.
After all this we had to get another room. Like I mentioned a tough start. This room should’ve been lnspected before it was given to us. This headache could have all been avoided.

I love staying here especially if you have a toddler this is my fourth time staying here. Service is great and location is perfect especially if you have family in DR. People could come visit chill at the lobby where they have a live bad and a full bar.

This was one of the best places I stayed in the Dominican Republic, I did not think it would be so nice, the staff are so polite and everyone is willing to help with whatever you need, from check in to check out, you can get food and alcohol no matter the time, the food is A++, and all you have to do is eat from the buffet, my only regret was not going to this place first, as I continue visiting DR and visiting different hotels, this one is one of the must always return to one. I will for sure be visiting this hotel every time I go to DR. The rooms are super nice, you can spend all day inside the hotel and you will have a great time, its great for couples, families, a group of friends or even a work retreat with what I witness, they can count on me staying there every single time I come back to DR. Oooh, and its in the middle of the capital, but once you get inside the hotel or feels like you are somewhere completely different. Dominican Fiesta is a top hotel, it wont the top spot on our list right now!!

The hotel is in a great location, great staff and service but they need to update it it looks a bit run down , the furniture in this hotel is from the 50’s , they also need to change the carpets , the annex building construction has been abandoned for many years it makes the look of the hotel look abandoned, and run down.

Room was a little outdated with poor lighting and carpeted floors. Bathroom could also be updated and refreshed. I do believe that some floors are in the process of being renovated and the floor we stayed on was not updated yet. Very friendly and attentive staff. Hotel is in a quiet and safe area and away from a lot of the hustle and bustle of a major city. Convenient access to all the main sites (ie. Zona Colonial) and shopping centers. Great stay for families.

The room could benefit from better maintenance and updates. The bathroom ceiling appeared damaged, there were visible spots on the molding, the showerhead was not functioning properly, and the furniture felt outdated. Addressing these maintenance issues and considering room upgrades would greatly improve the guest experience. The staff, however, were helpful and attentive, which was appreciated. The buffet could be improved. Some of the food was cold, and certain items were not replenished consistently throughout the breakfast hours. Since guests pay for breakfast in advance, ensuring there is enough food available for the entire service time would improve the experience. Additionally, the bacon could be cooked a bit longer for better quality. Overall, the hotel is well suited for families with children and for short, one-day stays.

This stay was extremely disappointing and far from what was advertised.

There was visible mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and on the ceiling in the bedroom, as well as a large amount of mold around the bathtub. The bathtub itself was rusted, which raised serious hygiene and maintenance concerns. The elevators barely worked or were often out of service, making it very inconvenient.

When we contacted staff to ask for help, they said they would assist, but no one ever showed up. We followed up multiple times, and still nothing was done. On top of that, the phone in the room did not work, so we had to go downstairs in person every time we needed assistance.

Because of these issues and the lack of response, we were forced to leave and book another hotel elsewhere. The room and the property are not at all like the photos and do not match the description.

I do not recommend this hotel.

For the price per night, it's excellent... But everything else needs some retraining. The food is overpriced and subpar. The customer service is non-existent. Multiple times I was told by different staff members. Sorry I don't speak English. Why are you working the front desk if you don't speak English? Multiple issues with my room that we're never fixed and took many days for someone to even show up to fix one or two of them. Aside from that, the amenities like the giant pool, the hot tubs, the tennis courts, the basketball courts, the soccer field, the very large gym... All of that with the price per night does weigh heavy on my split decision for this hotel. Wouldn't recommend more than just a weekend.

Bad, the front desk staff didn’t know give information, in the room never changes the dirty towels. The a/c in the hallway didn’t not working at all the times. The edification is too old need to be renovated. I was Bad experience. The team don’t has coordination. The refrigerator in the room was empty and front desk wanted that I pay.
