Bed was nice, all the staff I spoke with were amazing and helpful. I had only one issue with one lady being kinda rude but EVERYONE else was so nice and helpful. Very nice hotel and right by the convention center. I chose to stay embassy suite instead of the host hotel for the free breakfast and very happy with my choice.

Very disappointed. The room would not cool down even at 60 degrees and remained uncomfortably hot. We also found a large dead cockroach in the cabinet. This raised serious concerns about cleanliness and overall maintenance.

I literally stepped on a live cockroach in the room, which had several broken things such as the ice tray. The ice bucket itself had spots of rust. The bedsheet had been put on inside out and was not fitted properly. There was hair in the sink upon arrival in the room. It was just as despondent as one might think a hotel in Montgomery, Alabama it was going to be, but I thought staying at the Hilton property would negate this fact somewhat. The only thing going for this place is the amazing staff. But that is literally the only thing.

The couch bedding was left on couch from prior guest. We didn't notice it until it was bedtime and went to pull sofa out. When I approached the checkin the first lady did not even acknowledge me, the woman who did check me in was great and friendly. Breakfast was great. Be aware there are people walking through their paid parking lot asking for change. The hotel itself felt safe and clean. Refreshments consisted of ruffle chips, French onion drip, a platter of veggies with ranch dressing, and a pretzel mix. The couch was also torn at top of couch. Hotel is also across the street from a Greyhound station.

The issue we had was we requested three times the bed linens and pillows for the pull out sofabed. We never received them. Imagine trying to sleep with nothing on the bed. This definitely left us feeling dissatisfied with the experience.

We stayed in a suite!! The room was far from clean with dirt on the flooring. The sofa was ripped and the back pillow coming off, and the sofa bed was disgusting. The light when you entered the room flashed like a strobe light (not good when you have a family member with epilepsy). There was mold growing under the bathroom vanity and sharp broken tiles surrounding the floor. The toilet ran all night. And the kicker of the trip, NO hot water the entire stay. And now I can’t get any type of at least partial refund from Expedia or the hotel.

Could not check in until almost 6pm (2 hours after check in time). The pool was cold. I reserved room for 6 people and was only accommodated for 4. Asked for extra towels, pillows, and blankets by phone ans by text and never received. Breakfast was all cold off of buffet. My whole experience was not like any other Hilton stay I have had. I was highly disappointed! Beverly was a doll,she was the only positive part of my trip.

Our room was beyond terrible. We had a 1 bedroom 2 bed, pullout suite. The pullout mattress had stains all over it and was so worn and thin it could not be slept on (though we didn’t want to with the stains). Every bar was palpable. The bathtub was so disgusting I couldn’t give my 2 and 5 year old a bath. It was lined with scum in the tub, curly black hair from whomever stayed last in it, something nasty on the shower walls. The towel rack had been ripped from the wall and was just shoved back in, not even fully hung back up. The trash had something disgusting running down the side. Our AC stopped working around midnight and was hot and muggy in the room. The manager was supposed to call me before checkout and that was yesterday. Still no call regarding a refund and I can’t reach anyone.

Downfalls are I was charged $25 dollars to park in their parking lot but lot was full so had to go to parking garage and got charged another $6 to park there. Also had to carry suitcase a block away.
The prices on menu at bar were really ridiculous.

The room was very nice. I loved my corner suite; it was spacious and very comfortable. The staff was fantastic and worked with you. I really loved my stay. Now to be fair, I did have a few suggestions, the rooms were quite cold and my refrigerator wasn't very cold. Although they were very responsive in addressing those issues, I enjoyed my stay overall.

First, I had to get passed the parking fee per night as well as internet charges. I am very disappointed in the excessive charges that should be included, especially since the cost of the room was higher than normal. When I walked into the room, there was an odor that was difficult to get past. I sprayed Lysol and the odor remained. I sprayed an air freshener and the odor remained. I believe it was the odor was in the carpet. I shined my blacklight all throughout the room and there was a build-up of dust all along the wall and some areas of the carpet. I guess there was no thorough cleaning for that room. There was only one employee who was helpful with different attractions in the surrounding area and even provided a map. He was great! I called the front desk and requested someone to fix the thermostat because no heat was coming out - it was just cold air. The request went unanswered until I went to the front desk. After I requested the repair I received a text asking if I wanted to check-out early. The engineer finally showed up and had to rig the vents in order for the heat to come out and I was then told that I needed to be sure that I wanted heat because I would no longer be able to get the AC function. I was flabbergasted! I was laying across the bed on Saturday waiting for the rain to stop so that I can go sight-see and housekeeping walked right into my room without knocking. I saw a shadow and heard her in the bathroom.
I will not stay at Embassy Suites again!

Customer service was very good, and it's a great hotel. The only issue was the power outage and emergency evacuation. My husband is elderly, and he had a lot of trouble making it outdoors in the dark stairwell, with people pushing, etc. He had a few bumps and bruises. Then we stood outside in the very cold weather and no announcement was made on when to come back in. I think staff did their best in a difficult situation, but it seemed like confusion and lack of coordination on what exactly to do -- including how to gain entry into our room again with our key. Again, appreciate the staff trying to do what they could.

The first night we didn't have heat in the room. It was one of the coldest nights of the year. I nearly froze to death. This was after I had paid to park on site when I checked in to find no parking places when we returned at night. We were told we had to park in the public garage behind the building. We also had a handicapped person with us. The garage had a sign that stated we had to park on the 3rd floor. After driving to the third floor, there were only 2 cars parked up there with their engines running. They looked very sketchy. We went to the elevator and the elevator didn't work. We were three elderly ladies, so we hurriedly went back to the car and drove down and parked on the first floor. It was freezing that night and we had to walk by 2 more suspicious vehicles. It was a freezing long walk until we could find a door to get in the hotel. The clerk at the desk was rude to us and very unsympathetic to what we told him had transpired. The night of sleeping in a hotel room without heat is what followed. The hotel did fix the heat the next day, but told us it was probably just that they hadn't turned on the heat for our room yet. Now remember this was one of the coldest days of the year! The next night started out okay until about 11:00 pm. I am lying in bed in my pajamas trying to sleep when the heater goes off. The electricity had gone off. Screams are belting through the hotel. We opened the door to pitch blackness with an abundance of screams. Moe to follow...

First I was there for only 2 nights, but the shower had luke warm water. I complained to the front desk staff. They sent someone to fix it, however it never got fixed. When I told them this at check out, I was given 3 business cards to contact a manager. Nothing compensated in my bill. Also someone must have pulled the fire alarm and we had to evaucate for about 15 to 20 minutes in 20 degree weather, another no compensation on my bill. I will NEVER stay at a Embassy Suites hotel again!!

Our shower leaked. We had to shower in a friends room. We moved to another room mid stay. There were no carts. I was gracious. Once we moved to the new room, the air didn’t work. Although it was cold out, the AC blew warm air all night. Whomever texted me OFFERED express checkout or late checkout. I replied to accept late checkout, only to then be told there weren’t any more slots for late checkout. Why offer if it wasn’t available? The shower smelled like sewage. The workers were considerate and prompt when we got there, but it was lacking as the stay went on. We won’t stay again, nor recommend.

The room was very clean and in excellent repair, one of the most comfortable beds and pillows I’ve had in a long time at a hotel. The atmosphere was very calm and spa like. There was no noise in the evening or nighttime that sometimes you hear at other hotels. The way they have the elevators and rooms it’s very secluded of noise control.

The only negative is the shower, when turned on the pipes would make a loud rattling noise. So loud, no one else in the room could hear the TV and it went on for the whole shower and every time anyone showered.

We asked if they had room service and were told yes. My husband ordered and had to go down and get it. Next morning our in room coffee pot didn’t work so he went down to get coffee. They don’t have coffee out until 7:30. He told them about our coffee pot not working and said they would bring one right up. Never happened. Also advertise pay parking or add it when showing room price.
