Pros:The exterior of the building was clean and well maintained, giving a good first impression.

Cons:
Unfortunately, the inside did not match the outside. The hallways appeared outdated and unclean, with carpet that was warped and coming up in several areas.

In Room 327, the bathroom was in poor condition and clearly needed repairs. There were urine stains behind the toilet, and the flush handle was loose and hanging off. The safety grab bar in the bathtub was also coming away from the wall, which felt unsafe.
Although the room was labeled non-smoking, there were signs that suggested otherwise. The fire alarm was discolored, and there was a strong scent from an AirWick plug-in, likely used to mask odors. Additionally, a tissue had been stuffed into the door peephole by a previous guest, which was unsettling. The bathroom also had an empty tissue box upon arrival.
Breakfast was disappointing as well. The warming trays were set too high, causing the eggs to become hard and stick to the tray, and the meat was similarly overcooked and dried out.
Before we even arrived, the surrounding area raised concerns about safety. While turning onto the main road leading to the hotel, we were cut off by a man on a bike who was yelling and weaving through traffic. Shortly after, we stopped at a nearby Chick-fil-A and were met with a strong smell of marijuana coming from a nearby car. Upon arriving at the hotel, we heard sirens and what sounded like guns

The hotel's location is okay but it sits off the highway behind a closed restaurant and could be easy to miss. The hotel was clean but the rooms are dated, especially the bathroom. The breakfast was fine and was nice to have prior to leaving for the day. No real issues with the staff but housekeeping did try to enter our room about 10 minutes after we arrived not realizing we had already checked in. At least they were attempting to ensure the room was clean and ready so props for that.

Staff was excellent. The property is tired. Paint is multi shade, marks on all the walls and furniture. Our hallway carpet was difficult to walk on it has so many ripples and stains and our room carpet was not much better. There were crumbs on the seats, small stains on the sheets and the shower head was some combination of parts to try and make water come out. Building needs a total makeover.

The room next to us wad smoking weed all night and in the morning. Not sure if it is legal but it sure smelled. The toilet seat was cracked in half. Really. The room was dirty. The paint on the walls looked like someone just slopped it up there. They did not have any soap to wash your hands with.
The food at breakfast was awful. The sausage was like leftovers from the day before…so bad. The muffins had a weird taste to it. I was very disappointed we stayed there. It was between this one or Holiday Inn Express. I wish I stayed at HIE. The only thing that was good was the young man who checked us in. Very disappointed for $148.00. Never again.

The front desk staff was great was very friendly. There was garbage in one of the trash cans in my room. The toilet stopped working in the morning so couldn't flush it. The hallway carpet on 3rd floor may have been cleaned but it was horribly stained. Took a while for the water to turn hot. I would not stay there again.

It was convenient at the time but never again. I got the 3rd floor with the bleach stains other reviews talked on. The door to my bathroom did not close. The coffee maker in the room was dirty. You could tell by the stains on the inside of it. Found a vitman under my chair a stain on my sheets. So the cleanliness was very questionable. The elevators did not get cleaned on my stay saw the same stain up until my leave. Food dried up in the 2nd elevator.
Breakfast was not it. Im vegetarian and I didnt see much to my stomache looking at the options but the eggs and they tasted like rubber.. The staff upfront was great though.

We arrived Thurs. night. They put us in a room to small for 2 queen size beds. One bed was up against the air conditioner. We noticed alot of ants crawling on the floor as well as a large gape between the wood floor slates. Fri. left for the day came back later. Towels replaced. No beds made or room picked up. Left Sat. for the day, room had not been touched, our dirty towels and garbage still there, ants were worse. Went to front desk to complain , he said we and 3 others did not get room cleaned This was room 107. He moved us to Room 209. Room much larger to accomadate 2 queen beds. Return Sun. still no one touched the room. Dirty towls still on floor, beds not made still had garbage. Came back Mon. still the same situation. We left Tues. Morning. For the price of this hotel we were very disappointed. They just did not attend to the cleaning of rooms. For the money go else where.

The young man that checked us in around 1am on 9/13/25 was wonderful. He explained everything to a tee, breakfast, best to park, everything. The bed was so comfortable. I have a broken left ankle and broken right foot so we stayed in 117. It was great. Only down fall was no shower chair. Thats ok though. Breakfast was good. Over all a great experience.

The staff need to take the time to cleanup behind guest before the next. Check those mattresses sometimes. It's all spotted up. The let out sofa mattress needs to be thrown away. Whoever wasted or whatever those big old spots came from. Make sure bathrooms are clean. Make sure there are clean sheets, not used sheets. Take the time to clean the floors because it shows when you get to walking in your socks. And why are the staff not even being friendly to people. No good morning. No thank you for your stay. And if check out is at 11, why would you keep sending a text at 8 and 9. That's established at check in. The space was nice.

The hotel is showing its age and is in serious need of renovation. The carpets and bathroom are noticeably worn and stained, which gives the space an overall impression of being unclean. In terms of cleanliness they missed the mark. Several of my family members had to change rooms due to things like the strong smell of mildew, dirty linen, finger/toenails found in the bed in 3 different rooms. I went to purchase disinfectant, towels and sheets from target in order to be able to sleep somewhat comfortably. However common areas appeared to be clean.

The property was antiquated. The TV was 32 inches cable. In 2025 as cheap as tvs are it is my opinion that a Hotel but willing to invest in their property but charge the latest fees don't really care about their customers. The \"gym\" was so small there really could only be 1 person at a time and you can forget about any floor exercises. The carpeting has various signs of wear and all kinds of stains ask throughout the hotel. My 12 year old grandson said this hotel is bootleg. We travel a lot he's a travel football player.
While the hotel was clean I wouldn't stay here again. Oh their refrigerator was actually very cold all to often the smaller refrigerators don't get cold..... we'll this one did and I was grateful for it and the free water. The lake/ pond wasn't scenic or relaxing it was filthy muddy looking. It wasn't my type of scene to relax in.

I loved the fact that the property is in an area where there are plenty of restaurants and retail stores. Also that it was tucked away from the main highway and access roads. There wasn't a lot of traffic noise heard from my room. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff member in charge of breakfast was not very friendly. I would suggest that she be coached or have someone else with a friendlier demanor be placed in charge of breakfast. The breakfast could be improved upon. Some of the food was noticeably old and leftover. The coffee which is normally made svailable to guests all day was not. As a matter of fact, I was concerned that it was not being refreshed and leftover from the previous day as well. If these improvements are made, you could definitely get 5 stars.

The hotel was quiet but I believe there was low occupancy when we were there. However, even though I had checked in online the day before we had to wait 7-10 minutes to get our room key because someone had to check to see if the room was ready. We arrived exactly when I had indicated we would so I was puzzled by that. When we went to check out we had to wait at least 5 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk which was frustrating. The breakfast was also pretty bland. I’m not sure this is a place we will likely stay again even though we are in Montgomery a few times a year.

The service was great, hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only issue we had was that the ice machine on the 3rd floor was out of service and the pillows were not of good quality. The hotel location is near all the shopping stores and restaurants. I would stay again if I ever visited Montgomery again and would just bring my own pillows.
