10 mins, # 14 tram, ride from main train station (get off at Elektra stop about 7 or stops from station) and then a 2 mins walk to hotel. Check in was easy although early, we just ended up having lunch in the lobby restaurant (great food) until room ready. Rooms were clean, although you could not adjust the temp and we found the rooms warm, especially when sleeping. Windows opened, but no screens. Breakfast was amazing and so good! Staff are very friendly and English was spoken by most. (This is a very quiet area we found when we went out walking). Overall, would definitely book again!

The hotel location was excellent and had adequate parking for guests. The restaurant in the hotel served an excellent breakfast and had a nice area to sit outside.

Our room needed to be updated, the carpet was very faded and stained. The shower also needed some work. It needed new caulking and the shower base was cracked.

I had a good size room on the 5th floor (#511) that was nice for Ostrava though I could not get the room cooler than 22c. Breakfast was decent in the morning.

Excellent central hotel.

I really enjoyed second stay at the Imperial in the centre of Ostrava. The staff were great and the room was large and clean, I really liked the kettle and fridge in the room. I will definitely stay here again. Breakfast was excellent, anti-virus measured were comprehensive.

The only criticism was that I couldn't get the air-con to work in room 421 but I didn't report is as I didn't really need it and I forgot to report it at checkout.

This hotel is located between the two theatres Jiřiho Myrona and Antonína Dvořáka which is really convenient. It is also has tram and excellent shopping centre within a very short walk.

Small rooms, good breakfast and located next a modern shopping center. Decent resturant options around the corner of the building. Was disappointed that the ladies in the resturant wouldnt allow me in 5 minutes early at 05:55 to quickly eat breakfast. Breakfast starts at 6. Was under time pressure to leave the hotel early asap. restaurant staff could be more accommodating for such situations as breakfast is paid for. Hotel receptionists were very helpful.

I was very happy about the Reception Desk and specifically enchanted by the restaurant service who met my request for organising a small supper after the theatre performance, which ended late. It was important for us, because my daughter was the actress. The staff did their best and the waiters were more than helpful. Thank you very much indeed!

Couldn't turn the heating off in my room when I arrived, but this was quickly fixed and I was comfortable with the temperature for the rest of my stay.
I'd have preferred a firmer mattress.
Reception staff were great. Breakfast staff a bit grumpy.
Good location for bars and restaurants.
My first time in Ostrava - OMG it's a dump!!
If I ever have the misfortune to go back, I would stay at this hotel again.

Top notch hotel in every respect.

Fabulous stay at the Imperial Ostrava. Room was good size, with excellent shower and very comfortable bed. TV good. Air con useful for warm nights. Took advantage of the Relax Centre, especially the sauna and swimming pool. Breakfasts were very good, with lots of choice and variety. Loved the scrambled eggs and good to have plenty of fruit and different breads, especially the loaf for self-slicing.
Hotel is well located in the city centre, close to public transport and most of what Ostrava has to offer.
I thoroughly recommend a stay at the Imperial.

My husband and I stayed in the hotel for two days. We enjoyed its central position, easy to walk everywhere. Breakfast and our dinner in the hotel were very good. We especially liked its indoor swimming pool.

Good hotel in the center of Ostrava

Hotel quality, cleanliness and location are great.
Breakfast was rich and tasty.
Checkout time is great - 12 noon.
I had a comfort room and room size was rather small. More like a 3 star hotel than a 4 star. I also stayed in a \"\"regular\" room in this hotel and the room was much bigger and more like one you can expect from a 4-star hotel.
Hotel prices in Ostrava tend to be higher or similar to Prague, which is quite a surprise when you compare the attractiveness of the cities, number of visitors, cost of living etc. So the room was a little overpriced in my opinion, but then again, this hotel is no different than others in Ostrava.
Room mattresses were of high quality, but were too soft for my taste.

The hotel is a great ocation and this was the main reason for choosing it. However, the room was small and pretty basic. The weather was extremely hot and the air conditioning was ineffective which meant a very, very uncomfortable night. The breakfast was OK but wasnt that hot.

I will visit Ostrava again but do not think that I will stay here again.

It was convenient for one night but did not have any sort of wow factor. Our room was small and like a travel lodge. Clean and good beds but very poor aspect onto the shopping street. Good shower but wanted a bath and was told it would cost another 20 euros a night. They were not full and I think this was very poor customer service. I think they rely on conferences and use by some sort of babysitting club. Did not feel at all special. Very good breakfast but no smiles from anyone.

Ich schreibe lieber auf Tschechisch, weil kein einziger Mensch im Hotel Deutsch spricht. Genauso keine einzige Speisekarte auf Deutsch, Probleme mit Personal direkt an der Rezeption, absolut unfähiges Verhalten, von nichts eine Ahnung. Finde ich sehr schade, weil ich selbst in Ostrava sehr lange gewohnt, studiert und gearbeitet habe.
Na muj pobyt, i kdyz to nebyla dovolena, jsem se velice tesila. Problemy nastaly uz pri vjezdu do Tiefgarage, kde jsme meli reservovane misto. U vjezdu jsme museli u naseho auta (BMW) stahnout bocni zrcadka, z kazde strany zustalo pouhych 10 cm mista. 2/3 mist v garazi jsou dauerhaft reserviert (?!!), mista na parkovani s minimalni vzdalenosti k vedlejsimu autu, takze nastanou problemy pri nastupovani a vystupovani. Auta se za posledni desetileti zmenila. Na tuto skutecnost ovsem hotel Imperial nebere zretel. Garaz je spinava, zaprasena, neudrzovana. Co takhle vycistit a misto 3 parkovacich mist nanest pouze dve?? Dalsi problem nastal okamzite u recepce, kde jsme byli jsme s manzelem jako jedini hoste, presto se nam temer 10 minut nikdo nevenoval. Sluzbu konajici zamestnanec pocital radeji kupu 2 korunovych minci, jeho kolegyne nevedala, co ma delat. Po 20 minutach jsme konecne mohli po 9-ti hodinove jizde do pokoje, ktery byl prostorny a cisty. U snidane jsem objednala cerstve vymackanou pomerancovou stavu, a to 3 dny po sobe. 2x jsme nedostali Rechnung (predpokladam, ze se jedna o sluzby hotelu, posledni den ale - 300 Kc. Jak to funguje?

Très bon hôtel à Ostrava

Très bon impression générale. La chambre est confortable, le lit est bon, la salle de bain est très bien (douche italienne). Le wifi est très bon. Le parking (payant) est aisé, l’hôtel est au centre de la ville et facilement accessible. Le restaurant et le petit déjeuner sont très bons, la nourriture est excellente et variée. Je recommande.

Great location for both walking to nearby downtown restaurants and nightlife hotspots or taking the public transport the best sights in the city. Also, easily reachable from the train station. Rooms are clean, staff nice and helpful, hotel restaurant has a decent offer of good dishes.

Hotel již hodně pamatuje. Špinavé koberce, zatuchlý pokoj, toaleta ani koupelna se neskvěla právě čistotou. Ložní povlečení bylo čisté.
Snídaně v ceně 350 Kč absolutně neodpovídá nabízenému sortimentu (vejce na 2 způsoby, párky na 2 způsoby, 2 druhy salámu, 2 druhy sýra, zelenina ani sladké pečivo nedoplňováno).

このホテルはオストラーヴァで1-2の高級ホテルである。サービスがしっかりしており、朝食もバラエティーに富んですこぶる良い。
またBrasserieというレストランは質が良く、そしてリーゾナブルな価格なのでいつも利用している。キッチンは10時に閉まるが、5-10分前に飛び込んでも対応してくれる。しかし今回15分前に行ったのに食事は出せないと言われ愕然とした（ほかのレストランに行かざるを得なかった）。
また最高級のホテルなのにシャワーのみ。ティッシュ・ペーパー、湯沸かし器に無料の水1本くらいはつけてほしい。

V hotelu bylo čisto, personál byl velmi milý a vstřícný. Pokoj byl dostatečně vybavený, příjemný je čajový a kávový servis (varná konvice, sáčky s čajem, kávou a cukrem). V koupelně je velké umyvadlo, je tedy kam odložit své toaletní potřeby.
Velmi mě ale mrzelo, že nebyl v provozu bazén :-(. Snídaně bych obohatila o teplou grilovanou zeleninu a nyní v zimě třeba i o polévku.

Kvalitní hotel nedaleko centra města.Milý personál na recepci. Pokoje i prostory čisté, na pokoji velmi měkká, ale kvalitní matrace. Prostorná koupelna. Parking před hotelem za poplatek, bez nutnosti rezervace. Náměstí a Stodolní ulice v pěší dostupnosti.
