No heat in the room

On arrival room was quite cool despite heating being set to 30º. We inquired at the front desk and told there was no heat in the entire hotel for another 2 days, but they could provide us with extra blankets. Despite this we were cold overnight. The heat did kick in 2 days later as promised, but far from ideal to not have any heating when it is 10º outside overnight and not be advised of this on booking or check-in.

This hotel was really good. It was clean, the staff were friendly, There were no complaints about the actual hotel. The only downside is, that it is a little far from the city, but you can always get a taxi as they are fairly cheap.

This is a decent hotel for a solo traveler. The breakfast was good. The room was quiet and its close to a grocery store.

There's a metro station entrance a couple of blocks away that i wished i knew about when i got there. I found it by accident. Sofia has a great underground metro system.

I didn't find much to do in the area of the hotel, but its great place to venture into and out of the city center.

NO AC

I used to go regularly to that hotel, because of the location. Will never go back there! July 1th the hotel doesn't have AC when is 35 degrees outside, when i called reception he said better open the window. Still cant believe that is even possible, on top on that there was a sign states that we the tax payers paid that hotel 500 000 for COVID.

This hotel is NO GO forever

The hotel was difficult to find. Once we found it… the greatest things from this hotel was the gentleman at the reception desk. Kind, always available and helpful!
The hotel look disappointing and do not match the pictures in the advertisement in Expedia. It’s very run down, the entrance is dark, smells like cigarettes and dirty floors. The room was clean and big. But it does need to be update. I would not recommend it…. It has potential because it’s close to the airport.

I stayed in the hotel for about 10 days. The single room was small but pleasant, with the caveat that the bed was SUPER SMALL. It was barely big enough for a single person, even smaller than the twin size - something important to keep in mind when booking. Another unexpected surprise - the hotel does not provide basic toiletries (soap and shampoo), so come prepared. I want to add here that there WAS a hand soap dispenser but I don't think that you can use hand soap for anything else but hands. You get one big towel and one small towel, changed fresh every day, plan your bath time accordingly. While the staff is friendly and helpful, many of them don't speak English or have very limited vocabulary. The hotel does provide breakfast but from the feedback from other guests I did not think to try it out so I can't say anything about its quality. The area around the hotel is calm and quiet with good public transport. The metro station is a few minute walk along the boulevard, there are a couple of trolley bus lines not too far either and the biggest arena is within walking distance. There are a few restaurants with good food and good prices but they are well hidden, make sure to do your research beforehand (or ask the hotel staff). The biggest disadvantage for me (big enough to discourage me visiting the country again) - smoking is tolerated pretty much everywhere, there were groups of people smoking at the entrance at all times. The hotel could do better protecting its customers.

The staff are wonderful! The cleaning staff do a superb job, and the front desk staff are very helpful. Everyone has a good attitude even on the days when the hotel is very busy. I would definitely stay here again.

Cheap hotel, not far from airport. Clean, convenient and with free parking and free WIFI.
It was strange that the bathroom had a shower is in one corner of bathroom and a drain is in opposite one.
Overall it good for staying with car before flight.
The location is not far from subway station and about 10 minutes to center of Sofia.

More than happy with the service..
Disappointed with our evening meal, got a complimentary rice pudding dessert.

Very nice place and comfortable for short time!
Very good restaurant with lots of choice with amazing prices!!!!
Warm hospitality in the first time and after, they offer me breakfast to go (because of early morning check out) complimentary!!!

Only one comment: the hotel is not in the center and you need a car....but, there is big secur car park and it’s free!!!

The service at the hotel is amazing my only downside is that there is smoking in the restaurant which gives for an unpleasant mealtime so I chose to eat my food outside of the restaurant. Stayed as a stopover as close to the airport. There is a Domino’s and a supermarket within walking distance

Extremely pleasant surprise

Hotel is located in the business district with easy access to the city center. There is secured parking, one part is covered with a roof. The hotel is in excellent condition, new and clean. Staff kindly, it seems to me the fastest check up to now. Rooms are spacious, comfortable beds, mini bar, clean spacious bathroom. Excellent Wi-Fi, a great selection of TV channels. Breakfast is a solid, breakfast area exceptional including a small outdoor summer terrace.Excellent price / quality ratio. We are eagerly waiting for a return, but this time for longer.

A Fine Hotel

A great hotel with good customer service, excellent food and bright/comfortable accommodation. Not in the ideal location but good taxi service and buses about 2 minutes walk away. I used it twice in April 2018 as a stop over point to and from Sofia Airport. Taxi is about 20 minutes and cost should be about £5.00.

This was a good hotel especially if you drive, 20 min away from the airport and 10 min away from the centre.

The wallpaper is abit old fashion but I didn’t stay in much which isn’t a major problem but overall good day and good location

The hotel itself is nice, reception staff speak English as well as Bulgarian.

Everyday the bed was made, shower wet room cleaned and new towels left.

When I didn't want my room straightening out I put a sign out which was adhered to.

Do not leave valuables in your room was the rules of the hotel so I found myself taking a bag to breakfast everyday.

Breakfast is very much local food, very carbohydrate heavy so not ideal if your on a diet.

Veiw from my window was of 3 lovely tower blocks reminiscent of the communist era.

Overall an average hotel.

My first visit was very pleasant. Very pleased with entire staff, from front desk to security and chambermaids. Any request I made were handled promtly and efficiently. Very pleased with room appearance and cleanliness. I would not hesitate to stay on future travels and would recommend stay to friends and family.
