When watching Ostrava Open, just walking distance, so best place to stay at. No food after breakfast though, but the supermarket is also walking distance.

Booked in Clarion, stayed in Imperial

Shoetly after booking this hotel (prepaid through the application), I was contacted by a lady which advised me that the hotel was closed due to coronavirus and my reservation was automatically moved to Imperial Hotel Ostrava. On their behalf they did give me an upgraded room at Imperial hotel, however the location was not so convient. I booked hotel Clarion initially to be closer to the airport.

Just OK to sleep over nights

The wellness center was not open 24/7 and also required additional payment to use even for hotel guests. The daily cleaning of the room was not done in professional manner, just the bed is made and the towels on the floor are changed. The bath tub actually not get washed, even with water!

Nice hotel very close to the Arena.
I has most probably gone through some refurbishment, but still feels that it was built long time ago.
Excellent, friendly and helpful staff!

Hotel in Ostrava

The good things about the hotel would be the staff that were extraordinarily and probably the only reason this review is not more negative. People in reception were nice but the gentleman who served us in the restaurant twice was out of the higher league, actually all the waiters and waitresses were very polite and attentive.
Food in the restaurant was also very good, but the breakfast if you are not there by 9.15 there is not much left. Girl with the tattoos was full of attitude and despite standing in front of her it took 4min to order an omelette (I would have gone for scrambled eggs but there were non left). Despite booking King Size bed I was given a Twin and was told they don’t have any Big beds anymore .. not a deal breaker but left some bad taste. Please note that you pay extra for the gym (didn’t realize until I got there)

Despite making reservation for the superior room I was given the standard one. The difference between them is huge! When I placed the complaint I was said there were no any superiors free and only after I showed using their web that the superior rooms are still available I was transferred to the room I booked. There was really not very nice situation and I believe this is not the best way for making savings. Shame.

SPA HOTEL-GREAT FOR THE PRICE

Stayed here because it was on our way back to Warsaw. Unbelievable rooms, breakfast, facility and parking for a low price. We had a mini suite with balcony, wonderful bathroom and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was enormous. Parking very convenient and included in price. We did not make use of all that was offered. Staff was pleasant and friendly. This was in mid June but it seemed almost deserted, that is how quiet it is. It was very easy access to freeways. Area is somewhat industrialized but interesting.

Does the job.

It is a hotel which pretty much tick all the boxes for a business traveller. It is not exceptional or outstanding in anyway, but good enough to secure a good modest overnight stay, piece of mind and decent breakfast. I would most definitely consider staying again the next time i am in Ostrava. (Only real gripe: I did request a Queen Bed in the booking to be given a Twin room but I could not be bothered to raise this issue.)

pleasant stay but front desk team could do better

i booked with expedia and i wasn sure if i have breakfast or now.. when i checked in they told me you can go to breakfast it is just there... but first day i didnt make it and second i went and when i checked out the man at the front desk didnt ask me even if all was ok only he said u didnt have breakfast included.... so i felt a bit bad.. but i dding have to pay it at the end... they should tell me when i checked in.. i was happy with hotel but not so happy with the front desk as i work in hotel as well and the service they provide me with was kind of 1 star ... and not 4 stars... but i would come back to that hotel... maybe next time i meet better staff than this time...

Nice to sleep in - but location could be better

Overall, it's a nice fairly modern hotel. Comfortable enough to sleep couple of nights. Has got it's own restaurant and a bar.However, if you want a meal out - you need to travel by car and it's not a 5 minutes trip! Meal out or a drink out is nearly impossible if you stopped in this hotel. Nearest \"cyvilisation\" is about 5-8 kilometers away. However, saying all that, the hotel itself is good and very much suited for my purpose.

Highly recommended, very friendly

The Hotel was excellent, room very nice and all the staff very friendly.
The breakfast had a good choice and food was to a very high standard.
We also ate in the resturant in the evening and again this was excellent and very reasonable price. We would not hesitate in staying here again, very satisfied and would highly recommend.

La atención de Simona fue lo mejor, felicidades por su actitud de servicio y ayuda.

Acceder al hotel es complicado, todo apagado en el motor lobby, la entrada es por una puerta pequeña a un lado del hotel.

La habitación muy bien, limpia y agradable.

Hotelový personál velice příjemný a na úrovni! Snídaně skvělé, chutné a pestré, vybere si opravdu každý. Velmi pohodlný a hlavně čistý pokoj, nadstandardní koupelna, WC...Jedinou nevýhodou může být poloha mimo centrum, ale na poměry Ostravy cena/výkon určitě skvělá volba!

TT - Europameisterschaft in Ostrava

Sehr gutes 4**** Hotel , in direkter Nachbarschaft zu Kongress Zentrum , Fußball Stadion und Ostrava Arena . Allerdings weit entfernt vom Centrum ( 25 MIn . mit Straßenbahn ) , keine Gaststätten , Kneipen in der Nähe . Außerordentlich günstiger Preis Ü/F !.

Hotel dobrý, ale restaurace poměrně malá - přišli jsme na večeři, číšník nás ignoroval, prý už mají plno (přitom u stolů pro 6 lidí seděli 2)... Poslali nás na bar, že si tam můžeme dát taky něco k jídlu - tam na nás koukali jako na blázny, podobná byla reakce na dotaz, zda v hotelu nemají aspoň automat s drobným občerstvením (který je v jiných hotelech celkem běžný)...

Pobyt jsme si užili, i když koncert Scorpions byl odložen. V červnu se sem rozhodně vrátíme - dobrá snídaně, restaurace (váš salát Caesar byl přímo mňamózní!), poloha hned vedle arény, čistota hotelu, příjemný personál!

Wir waren nur für eine Nach in dem Hotel. Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Es ist ein sehr großes Gebäude, allerdings nur sehr wenige Gäste. Teilweise hatte man das Gefühl, man wäre in einem Geisterhotel. Die Hälfte der Anlage war gar nicht beleuchtet. Das Hotel befindet sich ca. 15-20 Minuten mit dem Taxi zu Stadtmitte.
Sehr negativ sind schmutzige Stoffservietten auf dem Tisch aufgefallen. Wollte die Serviette austauschen und habe die vom Nachbartisch gegriffen, da hat es genau so ausgesehen, teilweise noch schlimmer. Die Tischdecke hat leider nicht besser ausgesehen, es ist einfach nicht zulässig, dass auf solchen Tischen das Essen serviert wird. Nach einer Reklamation habe ich die sauberen Sachen erhalten, Entschuldigung????, leider wurde der Vorkommnis dezent ignoriert.

Clarion Congress apparait comme un hôtel remis à neuf récemment (vers 2013). Les chambres sont grandes et confortables, sans doute bien isolées car on entend ni les voisins ni le couloir. C'est un hôtel très \"classe\", le personnel est nombreux et serviable. Il manque malgré tout quelques prestations pour le faire rentré dans la catégorie \"luxe\", tel qu'un peignoir, des sandales pour aller à la piscine et des produits d'hygiène dignes d'un hôtel de cette classe. Sa situation géographique n'est pas réjouissante, mais si avez une voiture ....
