Beautiful gem of a hotel with amazing views. When I arrived I was welcomed with such warmth and hospitality. They greeted me with a lemoncello cocktail and some snacks. I was upgraded too. It was off season but I was treated like a king. Would definitely recommend

Room was very hot and smelled of perfume (not in a good way). The toilet was hard to flush and only flushed after several tries. The staff was excellent so the rooms do not reflect on them.

Perfectly located, very near the shopping area, the main plaza, and sights like Via Krupp. The hotel also has a view from the pool/restaurant of the water which is lovely. The included breakfast is very nice (made to order eggs or other, not just pastries) and Antonio from the restaurant was a delight.

We had an excellent stay. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Location was great. Pool area was awesome. Only complaints were the pool area and bar wasn’t staffed and the shower didn’t get very hot and had very low pressure. Overall, highly recommend the stay.

This hotel was amazing! Our room was gorgeous with a enormous terrace, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the view was incredible. The staff was courteous, and very helpful making arrangements for the ferry and luggage transport. You will need to be able to walk down about 15 or so steps to enter the hotel, but they will greet you with a welcome beverage of choice and a snack. Wide variety of breakfast items included.

Peaceful, Beautiful, and Wonderfully Run – A True Capri Delight!

I just returned from a stay at Hotel La Floridiana and can’t say enough good things about it. The location is ideal—tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and secluded, yet still close to everything. It was the perfect balance of convenience and calm, which can be hard to find in Capri.

The staff was truly exceptional—welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind. Every interaction felt personal and sincere. From help with directions to answering questions about the island, they made us feel completely at home.

Our room was lovely—spacious, clean, and filled with natural light. We especially enjoyed the private terrace with a view of the sea. It was a perfect spot for morning coffee or a quiet evening wind-down.

Breakfast on the terrace was a daily highlight. The view is spectacular, and the spread was generous and fresh, with something for every taste. It felt like such a treat to begin each day in that setting.

This hotel has a calm, elegant energy that I’ll remember fondly. It’s not flashy—it’s better. It’s warm, well-run, and full of heart. I’m so glad we chose it, and I would absolutely stay here again.

The entire staff and property were far beyond our expectations. Antonio is a master at his craft. The included breakfast was be far the very best we had experienced in our travels so far in Italy!!
We so much wish we could spend two or three more nights here. Capri in the evening changes to a wonderful island of relaxation and CLASS like we have never witnessed before ... The blogs were ALL correct .. Capri changes like a pupea to a beautiful butterfly once the day trip tourists are gone .. at about 5pm!! MAGICAL!!

Six star service

Capri town is a bit unique due to no traffic in a lot of areas. Taxi from the port to (close to) the town centre was a fun experience. The hotel, along with most others is then a five minute walk away. The hotel has been built on the side of a rock wall and uses some of it for cool architectural features. Bar area is stylish with good views. It’s not a very big hotel but there are always a number of the staff available to give excellent local advice. Andrea’s assistance, was amazing, as was Antonio, who is head waiter I think. They just couldn’t be more helpful of friendly. I honestly can’t think of any scope for improvement, it was that good.

It was our first time in Capri, and the hotel and staff far exceeded our expectations! If we could give them more than 5 stars we would! They went out of their way to welcome us and when they saw I was emotional for being in Capri for the first time, they went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. All of the staff was friendly, courteous, helpful and informative. Our first greeting at the door was by Claudia and she made us feel so welcome. They even accommodated our last breakfast by letting us eat early as we had to catch an early ferry. We didn’t want to leave, but when we do visit Capri again we will definitely stay at the La Floridian.

This is a beautiful property! We were greeted with a table in the restaurant and a welcome drink and pastries. We were early because my fiancé wasn’t feeling well but they let him rest by the pool and stored our luggage until our room was ready. Then they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a room with a patio and took very good care of us. The staff was incredible and the orange juice at the complimentary breakfast is the best I’ve ever had! I hope we have the opportunity to come back someday.

The staff greeted us like we were relatives. Felt like we were the only people here. Very clean. Beautiful pool, great food and drinks.only negative was not a lot of outlets or chargers and bathroom has tiny sink. We got a room with a private terrace that was so comfortable. Staff really goes out of their way to please. Wonderful time. Take funicular up then walk down to it.

Website from their hotel states about $5 per bag however the hotel charges a direct $20 per bag regardless of the size. Showers were also very small and poor drainage with a sewer smell.

Perfect Stay for Marriage Proposal Weekend

We had a magical stay at La Floridiana. Absolutely everything about the service and experience was well thought out. I informed them the night before our stay that I would be proposing to my now-fiancée somewhere on the island. They treated her like royalty, upgraded our room, and even gifted us a bottle of sparkling wine. Our hostess Giuliana was incredible and took care of our luggage transport to and from our ferry. She even made dinner reservations on our behalf. Incredible. Definitely going back!

Service was EXCELLENT! The service was so good it was the reason why we kept extending our stay. This hotel is lucky they have such great staff especially Claudia. Reception upgraded us to an amazing suite for our anniversary for free which had a hot tub and much larger than the room we had to begin with. I am beyond thankful for that. The hotel is also in PERFECT location. Definitely use the porter service though. Free breakfast in the morning was fantastic, a lot of options and great service once again. I will like to add some things that management should be mindful on
- The bathtub and shower are together and it does NOT drain. We couldn’t feel clean from this.
- The water in the bathroom smells like complete backup sewage (we had to open our doors up to let fresh air in)
- Rooms really need an upgrade
- TV only had 3 shows in English, they advertise for smart TV. You can connect to your music on your phone but not Netflix, Hulu, etc.
- We were on the 1st floor and the WiFi did not work in our room. Was such a disruption because we couldn’t make business calls and also had to go on the patio to get internet to work

I know things sounds kinda bad but it wasn’t horrible and we would come back here. However, really work on fixing these things and you would have a perfect hotel.

The property is Amazing and the staff is very friendly. There is of lot of walking so get comfortable shoes. Getting there can be hectic if you travel from Amalfi (ferry can be cancelled due to weather). The ferry Caremar can take you from Napoli. Once there, you can take the funicular. Tickets can be purchase about one block to the right.

This property is incredible. It is beautiful, high class, and simple all the same. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to an incredible room that had a massive bathroom. The entire room was covered in italian tile that my girlfriend loved. Claudia at the front desk and the pool bar guy were fantastic. Incredible views looking at the backside of Capri. I will say it is towards the back of Capri. Definitely take a taxi to Capri (easiest way from the port) and then I carried our luggage there. I used a service that Claudia had set up for me to take the luggage directly to our ferry on the way out. Worked like a charm.

Great location and facilities. We were upgraded to a Junior suite with lots of space, a balcony and sea view. The hotel areas are clean and the pool area is very pleasant, with lots of lounges and bar service. Breakfast could have a few more options, especially in terms of cooked food such as scrambled eggs. The hotel is close to the high street of Capri, several nice restaurants around the area. The staff were attentive and nice. During our stay we had an incident with a guest staying next door (nothing to do with the hotel), and the hotel promptly took care of it. If we had more time, we would have spend more days at Floridiana.

My room was upgraded from a single to a decent double with a balcony and this was indeed very nice. However, I did expect the toilets to be better maintained, showers and shower cubicles left a lot to be desired with broken knobs and poor showers. No tea or coffee to speak of despite a kettle. I had one sachet of coffee that was never replaced during my entire stay. The plugs were a nightmare and I had to turn off the fridge to charge my devices as that was the only working plug in the room. This is not a reflection of the staff, they were all very helpful and attentive. The property itself could do with some upgrading. There was an unnecessary vase on the fridge that had a pink bottle cap with a key attached to it. Not sure why it was there. I had a gaping hole on top of my bed, on the ceiling, next to the fire alarm. The sun loungers were creaking. Breakfast was an unnecessary faff- if people were disinfecting their hands when entering the breakfast room not sure why they couldn’t help themselves. Had to explain everything I wanted to eat and waiters got the orders wrong- they did have an unusual job of trying to work out breakfast orders that had a decent spread. I requested brown bread and got white instead, for instance. Asked for one toast and got four. The reason I have rated it okay is entirely because of the staff and their excellent service (breakfast debacles notwithstanding).
