Great location right near all the designer stores. Very easy to get to either side of the island from the hotel. We got a room directly above the outdoor terrace so it was a bit noisy but we were only there for one night. Great front desk staff. The shower gel was empty and we asked to have it filled, the man who came to our room was kind of aggressive and irate, not sure what his problem was but we didn’t let him fck up our vibe

I can’t explain how dirty this hotel was! But i have pictures which I would love to share with Expedia.
This hotel was full of mold everywhere specially room. We told management as soon as we checked in, we have been completely ignored! Staff weren’t friendly at all , didn’t help. Now we checked out and seeing a doctor because of my husband sever allergies to MOLD which we explained to them. But im holding expedia accountable since we trusted expedia to book. We never had such an sever issue with the cleanliness of a hotel, this was more than cleanliness. This was a safety health related issues. I wish I could upload pictures to review but im hoping expedia give the opportunity to share pictures at least with them. This is not acceptable, this is people’s health on the line!
Refrigerator was broken, we told them they said they will fix it! Nothing! Literally they ignored everything. Even manager requested us to email him the pictures of molds in the wall/ceiling/bathroom , we did he just said thank you. Seriously?! Now my husband is severely sick and coughing so bad we are in Naples currently and looking for a doctor! We checked out this morning and not happy at all since the check in!
I need expedia to email me so i can share photos of this horrible place!

Only good thing is location

The best thing about this hotel is its location and the small pool area outside but it stops there.

The rest is pretty average, with poor service, sugary breakfast and facilities.

No iron available for ironing clothes and their ironing service closes at 5. The staff doesn't speak much English.

I booked through ebookers over phone after deciding to change from a different hotel that was already booked. I had to make a separate booking so had to use a different card for this change as I only had that handy. I was told the hotel charges in euros before arrival so if I wanted to change the card I would have to call the hotel directly. The first time I called the reception desk they asked me to call next day as reservations was closed, so next day I spoke to reservations. The lady over phone affirmed she changed the card details successfully. When I asked them to make sure they don't charge the wrong card and please delete the previous GBP card as my bank charges substantial fees for the transaction. The lady assured me that she was the one who charges the card and it was no problem.

When we arrived at the hotel, I asked to see what card had been charged and of course it was the one I asked them NOT to charge. No explanation was given, no offer to reverse the charge and charge a different preferred card. The receptionist just shrugged and said there's nothing you can do about it. When we asked for the manager, he or she wasn't available. Nothing the next day either.

Lovely hotel located near enough for an easy walk to the main square and just steps from the Quisisana Hotel. Beautifully tiled floors, balcony overlooking the pool and friendly, helpful staff.

This hotel is in a great location. Not too far from the funicular which takes you to and from the marina to catch the ferry. The pool is small but nice with lovely lounge chairs, perfect for an afternoon nap. The rooms need updating for sure...but were quite large and ours had a nice balcony. The bedding was odd, but the bed was very large and served its purpose. Had a nice glass of prosseco at the patio restaurant. They brought a complimentary snack of peanuts and the best olives ive ever tasted. Free wifi worked well in outside areas. Overall, we really enjoyed ours stay.

Pointless pool!!!!!!

Stayed for 2 nights. In a nice location amongst the high end shops. Good distance from what we needed. However, this was supposed to be our comfort stop off on a tour of the amalfi coast. We saw ourselves relaxing by the big pool in the pictures. Turns out that pool was another hotel that that used to share with Regina Christina. They have their own pool now and it's completely pointless. It would be a bad kiddies pool. It's small! Very small and for some reason all the sides slope down to give enough room for one person to swim for about a metre as long as you have short arms and legs. Do not come for the pool.

Wonderful Sorrento Gem

The views of the Gulf of Naples and Mt Vesuvius from our room were incredible. This hotel is an architectural gem and the pool and gardens beautiful. We liked that this hotel is a little away from the crowded downtown and several of our favorite restaurants are a few blocks away.

We arrived early and as it was quiet we were able to check in sooner. The manager was very helpful providing us with details about what restaurants and sites were open and what to look at on the island. The room was large and overlooked the sea, although there was a building in front of it.

Capri itself is a wonderful small town, hotel is surrounded by numerous nice shops, great restaurants, stunning sea view, marvellous little paths. Hotel staff very helpful, room clean though not big, but comfy. Only complaint is shower pressure quite weak but next room which accommodated other family members was having strong water pressure.

Good location for a good price.

Overall, our experience was good. The staff was friendly and attentive; however, they were often hard to find. It was likely due to us visiting Capri in the offseason, but there wasn't regular staff posted at the front desk. We visited the desk 3 times (check-in and then twice to retrieve our passports) and there wasn't staff to assist us. The hotel was nice and was kept clean. We had a nice view of the coast from our room and they provided staff to bring our luggage straight to our room. The bed and room were comfortable. The room did show some signs of general wear but not enough to discourage us from staying there. The bathroom had a nice sized jacuzzi tub which was nice. The hotel was also nicely located near the Augustine Gardens which had some amazing views. I'd be happy to return to this hotel in the future. PS: There is no swimming pool.... I'm not sure why they provide pictures of one.

Had a really bad experience when checking out.

So my husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon. We read a lot of really bad reviews but also some good ones. This was one of the cheaper hotels in Capri so we decided to stay here. We get to the hotel and it is very pretty. I don't know what the previous reviews were talking about shower caps not being provided (honestly, this is one of the most beautiful places on earth so who cares, also they provided them upon request haha) and other reviews said it was outdated. We thought the hotel was lovely. However, when we asked about a laundromat nearby, we were told there wasn't one. So we asked about the hotels laundry service. (we were in europe for a month and desperately trying to wash our clothes). The hotel desk clerk provided us with a bag and told us just to shove everything we could into it and give it to the maid. Later on, the maid also instructed us to \"just put all of it into the bag\". We knew it wouldn't be cheap but we had no idea! Upon checkout, we were presented with a 180 euro bill (keep in mind our hotel was already paid for before arriving). They itemized everything. What was presented as a flat rate situation turned into 8 euro per sock (single). We were upset and when we told the clerk that we were misinformed, he said that one of the staff members should have presented us with the itemized laundry \"menu\". But they didn't. We paid the bill and left, but thought that was no way to do business. Bummer. Laundry bill was more than the clothes cost.

I stayed at this hotel many years ago on 3 separate occasions and enjoyed it. However, it has become very dilapidated. I would not recommend it to anyone, unless someone is looking for a \"no frills\" stay. There aren't even tissues or a shower cap or a clock in the room. The hotel is in need of maintenance.

The location of this hotel was fabulous. We had a wonderful view of the sea from our balcony and it was very close to the Garden of Augustus. The hotel service was very good, including assisting us with porters to get our luggage up the mountain from the port. Our only negatives were that the hotel is very old and need of some maintenance, specifically related to plumbing and airconditioning. Our airconditioner blew but did not cool very well. Although we were comfortable, the air was quite sticky.

The worst customer service

The hotel is ideally located. That is is only positive statement that I can make. It totally lacked any quality customer service from most of the front desk staff. They failed to inform us about ANY of the amenities of the hotel. One front desk clerk on multiple occassions neither greeted us nor even looked up at us whenever we either left our key or ask for it....on 2 occassions he was on the telephone and left us standing there while he talked...did not acknowledge us. The physical condition of the hotel was poor. It was the most expensive on our trip, yet the worst customer service and physical condition. I would never recommend that anyone stay there...not worth the cost!! There was a waiter and the late night front desk clerk that seemed to understand the importance of customer service. The other employees could care less!

We love Capri.
Unfortunaly we had the worst experiance. The hotel ac didn't work and when we asked the front desk they told us it worked before and couldn't do anything. I asked them for a new room that was not possible. If you could sleep in a hot room and tolerate bad service this would be your place. I recommend paying the extra 50 euro to stay in a nicer hotel.

Great location, shame about the rest

This is a basic hotel which just happens to be in a great location. It's clean and the breakfast is pretty good, but the customer service is lacking.
The hotel do not explain the baggage system at all- but it entails someone at the Marina (who as it turns out is not affiliated with the hotel) calling out your hotel name when you get off a ferry and taking your bags off you. We were told we'd get our bags in 30 minutes- really it was an hour and a half. We also assumed we'd tip the guy when we got our bags. But, we actually got a bill for 18 euros at the end of our stay to our surprise. Which one could understand if this was an arduous task, however, we could have done this transfer ourselves! The fenuculare compartments are pretty spacious and as it happens the walk from the top to the hotel takes just 5 minutes.
Our hotel room was ok but the TV did not work- but was not a great loss as we were not in Capri to watch Italian tv!
There was a fair amount of noise on Saturday night but we were there during Easter weekend- not sure if it always like that at the weekend or not?
So, in summary great location, shame about the rest!

Der Aufenthalt am Pool war insgesamt angenehm, allerdings gab es ein paar Punkte, die verbessert werden könnten. Das Essen hat etwas länger gedauert, bis es serviert wurde, und es waren recht viele Fliegen und Bienen in der Umgebung. Mit etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit in diesen Bereichen wäre das Erlebnis noch schöner gewesen.

Personale molto gentile; Emanuela in particolare è stata veramente disponibile e cordiale. Allo stesso tempo anche il personale di sala è stato impeccabile. Consigliato vivamente per la posizione ottima sia perché permette di raggiungere la piazzetta in pochi minuti sia per l’eleganza delle stradine limitrofe.
Unica pecca la mancanza di un phon abbastanza potente. Stanze ampie e confortevoli.

シャワーの出が悪くお湯にすると少ししか出ないので夏なのにとても寒かった。3人宿泊にも関わらずタオルが2人分だけ。フロントに電話をしても全く繋がらず困りました。エレベーターが狭く大きな荷物を持っていると1人しか乗れない。立地はTAXI降り場から10分弱でスーツケースを持っての移動は坂道もあり大変でした。荷物がない時は良い。
