Fantastic stay!

Hotel was beautiful and in the perfect location, right near city center. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The included breakfast included eggs & bacon which was a pleasant surprise - all food was as very tasty. Only complaint was that the air conditioning in the room wouldn’t go below 24° and was unable to be fixed leaving us quite uncomfortable when sleeping. Overall, it was a lovely experience and I would recommend to anyone looking to visit Capri.

The location was very central to Capri and the main Piazza. You can't access the hotel directly by car as it it is in the area shut off to vehicles. All hotels and restaurants near the main capri piazza is in the same situation. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and looked recently updated. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Beautiful property and a wonderful stay! We were surprised by a free room upgrade at check-in and had beautiful views of the Faraglioni rocks from our balcony. Complimentary breakfast was excellent, the bed was comfortable, and the customer service was outstanding.

The location is really good for being in the main area of restaurants and hotels. The hotel is easily walkable from the funicular that you can get at the main port (Marina Grande). The lobby and breakfast area is nice and modern with lots of space, and the staff are all very nice. The room decor was quite pleasant and everything was clean and well organised.

This hotel was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in, amazing location in the heart of Capri, super clean and beautiful facility, very spacious rooms(we had a junior suite) great breakfast which is not buffet, but like a restaurant you sit and order what you want, amazing view of the ocean as well, also the staff are super helpful , specially Guiseppe who helped me with a suprise birthday with my wife, they give you great recommendation, and treat you like family, you will definitely love your stay here. We couldnt be happier.

Relaxing stay at the Residenza Capri Hotel

We had a fantastic stay at La Residenza Capri on our 2 night stay. Easy location to navigate through the street from the Piazza or bus terminal. Hotel staff were very professional and helpful with things to see and restaurant recommendations. Room was clean, well maintained, and spacious. Balcony view was phenomenal. Nice place to relax. Enjoyed the made to order complimentary breakfast and nightly turn down service. Overall, we would definitely come back here when in Capri.

Fabio, Pepe and team were warm welcoming and took care of us. It was all the little details that the property & staff does to make it amazing. 5 Star Service, Room, View and location!

We only stayed one night but the service we experienced felt like we had been there a month. They were able to accomodate both an early check-in and a late check-out, even watching our bags and letting us explore the island after we had checked out. After we went swimming in the Blue Grotto, we were sticky from the salt water and they let us shower when we returned to pick up our bags.

We stayed in a suite which was well worth the extra money for one night. Great location, great view, great room!

Oh my gosh. This hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely friendly & always accommodating! Breakfast had a wide variety options from meat & cheeses to yogurt & cereal to fruit & pastries, they also had gluten free options! There is also a laundry service available if you need it, kind of pricey but its there and my clothes came back smelling fresh & neatly pressed and/or folded. The location is perfect. 5 minutes from the main piazza, near the Via Krupp and streets full of shops, but also tucked off the road far enough so that you feel like you’re far away from the busy-ness. THE VIEW. UGH. It’s amazing from the tanning area, restaurant, and suites with views! When we arrived, we had been upgraded from a standard suite without a view to a deluxe suite with a view. The view brought me to tears. It looks East/southeast of the island over the waters past Marina Piccolo. Breathtaking honestly. The windows were equipped with automatic shades that blocked the sunlight (because sunrise starts at 5AM & is very bright). The pictures online don’t do the hotel justice as the bathroom and room were very nice, clean, and fairly up to date. Lots of outlets all around the room, which is a rarity in Europe. If you arrive by ferry, there will be someone waiting for you to get off of the ferry and will take your luggage to the hotel for you for a charge of 13€ - 100% worth it. If you’re staying in Capri, you have to stay at Hotel La Residenza. It’s just too perfect for the price.

I am Italian and I know that Italy is not the best place for service and modern infrastructure compared to other places in the world. The Hotel is very central clean and we actually slept like babies - room perfectly silent. In 4 days of our stay we could not get wifi working in our iPhones and MacBooks. I had to do some important work , and I had to go to a restaurant to do it.

My only recommendation is that the hotel fix the bathroom. The toilet works fine, but the toilet needs a p-trap as there was a less than pleasant smell due to the plumbing configuration.

Wonderful little hotel on the fabulous island Capri. My room came with a partial view of the sea. Located in the town of Capri, all the main attractions in Capri are withing a walking distance from Hotel, except the stunning views from Anacapri, for that you will have to take a small city bus from Capri that will take you all the way up to beautiful Anacapri...the higher located sister of Capri.

An affordable, small but comfortable, clean room with a fabulous view! Very near to everything Capri has to offer. As a single person, I spend little time in my room on a holiday so don't need luxury. Very adequate in every way. Order cappuccino rather than regular coffee for good reason ...my only complaint! Easily remedied. Enjoyed La Residenza!

This is a very old and outdated hotel. The only good thing about it is the excellent location, it is within a block of the main square. The bed was very uncomfortable, there were insects in the room, and the bathroom was dilapidated and mildewy. Honestly, I couldn't wait to check out. The only other pro is the water pressure of the shower but you won't really want to be in that bathroom so I don't know how much it matters. The room was just not the cleanest and I'm not sure how this hotel has a 4 star rating.

What kind of 4-star hotel doesn't have an iron?

What kind of 4-star hotel doesn't have an iron for guests to use? I was told if I wanted to iron my shirts I could pay for their laundry service. Absurd.
Mould in bathroom. And the shower wasn't a shower, just a shower head in the bath at knee-height.
Location was great and thankfully we weren't in the hotel much. Would not stay here again.

We spent 3 nights in Capri and we wanted a fairly central hotel at a reasonable price. This hotel more than delivered. Staff were attentive and accommodating, the pool area is excellent and the location is ideal - walking distance to the main piazza. We picked a sea view room and the view was amazing. The rooms were really clean and fresh and quite small, but we were mainly out and about exploring to be bothered by this. The breakfast was ok. Would definitely recommend this hotel!!

This hotel was way beyond my expectations. It is absolutely superb. Immaculate in every respect and the staff, specially the front of house staff, were truly welcoming and truly friendly. The hotel is full of light, elegant but sort of modern at the same time with beautiful furnishings. They gave me a superb room with a terrace which was so lovely that I stayed another night. I would recommend this hotel to absolutely everyone-- you will not be disappointed. Next to the square and shops but incredibly quiet, like a little oasis. LOVED IT.

We missed our ferry from Napolli to Capri and reached the enxt day, the hotel offered us extended checkout to spend more time in Capri as we missed on a night a day earlier.
The staff is helpful and cheerful.
THe hotel is located in the centre / heart of Capri with a good pool, Sea view and relaxing sun bath benches on the top.

However, they could do better with the room quality and comfort.

La Residenza was in a great location – a 5 minute walk to the Piazzetta. The pool was nice, although I did not use it more than 10 minutes during my 2 day stay. Nice to have the option of a pool since many of the beaches in Capri charge. The sunbathing area was very nice and had views of the ancient ruins and I Faraglioni. The rooms were nice, but could have used a little updating (the closet was extremely creaky and the shower was stuck). The bed was a little uncomfortable. I was very happy that the breakfast buffet had eggs and breakfast meats included! As an American not used to pastries every day, the morning protein was very welcomed.

La Residenza, Capri

Me and my boyfriend had a lovely stay at the la residenza. The pool was nice and clean and the sun beds were very comfortable - nice pillows. The breakfast was nice with a mix of foods. The hotel is centrally located with restaurants a short distance away. The square was nice for people spotting. We would recommend a trip to anacapri on the bus to visit the blue grotto. The day trips to the blue grotto by boat are expensive and you don't actually get into the grotto - they say that the queue is too big. The safe in the room is free of charge which is good considering we are used to paying for a safe in previous hotels. The one downfall of our room was that the shower head was connected to the wall at low level - meaning we had to hold the shower head for each other. Overall we had a very nice stay and if we were ever to visit capri again it would be back to this hotel.

The location was wonderful. The staff was very accommodating. The room was spacious. The beds were rather firm. The only issue was that the door to the hallway and the door to the adjoining room were paper thin so we could hear every person that passed by our room as well as a lengthy phone conversation in the next room.

Very warm welcome from reception, great bar service and an excellent evening meal with a great view in the restaurant. Only downside was breakfast which really was quite basic.

AMAZING LOCATION!!!

Loved the newly remodeled rooms the best, staff was very attentive and helpful...didn't love the breakfast buffet however! would recommend this hotel to ANYONE!

It is not a five start hotel but very nice in relation to Amalfi coast hotels. Service is good.

The staff was excellent! The only thing was the tub in the bathroom was a little narrow and the tiles weren't in tip top condition. It needs a little maintenance. I enjoyed the pool. The continental breakfast was ok. If you like alcoholic drinks go elsewhere. A Mojito cost me 12 Euro. Other than that it was pretty good.
