Very disappointed in the hotel. Number one was the rate charged. Way too expensive for the hotel and we felt like we were gouged on the rate. The following weekend the rates were half of what we paid. Did they jack the rates up because of the softball tourney in town? The hotel was outdated. There was supposed to be a restaurant there, the signs were on the door and the neon sign was lit. The staff said it had been closed since March. The outside of the hotel, stairs and grounds, were very dirty and unkept. The breakfast was not good at all and the choices were limited. Coffee was lukewarm and the water for the oatmeal was also lukewarm. The eggs tasted terrible. The amenities in the room lacked. I packet of coffee for two people was all that was in the room. There was not a no disturb sign to put out and no instructions for the TV. Some people in our group had their rooms entered on Saturday and could not get back in them, had to go get their keys reprogrammed. This hotel was not up to the quality of most hotels I have booked through Hotels.com. I am pretty sure I will not book this hotel for another stay.

The breakfast was good and fresh however the eating area was so noisy with the metal chairs scraping on the floor.
The hot tub finally got cleaned but the children's pool area had a lot of dirt! I suggest they clean both pools at least three times daily.
The hotel exterior is very run down and needs remodeled.its such a great location it's a shame to see it going downhill!

Unfortunately, our experience did not match the photos or descriptions shown on the website. The room we were assigned looked significantly different from the online images and appeared to be in poor condition.

Upon arrival, we found several cleanliness and maintenance issues, including what appeared to be pet waste embedded in the carpet (partially hidden by a chair), pet urine stains along the baseboards, and what appeared to be blood on a shelf in the bathroom. The bathroom trim was deteriorating and crumbling away from the wall, and many of the doors and trim throughout the room were covered in scuff marks and stains. There was also a strong, unpleasant odor in the room.

We requested a room change, but were told that no other rooms were available.

Throughout the night, the refrigerator cycled on and off loudly, making it difficult to sleep. In addition, neighboring guests were extremely noisy and appeared to be partying until well after 2:00 a.m.

Overall, we were very disappointed with the condition of the room and the quality of our stay. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this property.

good room for the value, you get what you pay for, not a luxury hotel or anything. SUPER dog friendly with a great dog area and direct access to the river trail which is super fun for morning/evening walks. I'm just here for work and sleep so it was perfect. Pool looked fun. dogs give 5 stars.

This is an older property that has security cameras all around it. There are no elevators but does have one set of ramps only to the first floor. I consider the ramps to be very steep for wheelchairs or those with walkers. There are no rooms at ground level. The outside of the building looks old but that could improve with a lighter color paint and replace missing pavers/brinks on ramp. They could use trash containers at the bottom of ramps as trash had gathered in the corner. We were here for 4 nites and this trash had not been cleaned up, and this was the only dirty area. We did not take advantage of all amenities like conference rooms, the fire pit, 9’ deep pool, hot tub, 1 1/2’ deep kiddy pool area, lounge area with umbrellas, bicycles, game area, or walk to the river by this hotel. This had a free breakfast and coffee area that was kept clean and the food was stocked with cereal, yogurt, bread and pastries, waffles machine, scrambled eggs, and sausage links. Our room was comfortable and clean. We know the fridge was cold because the freezer had frost. The room also had iron & iron board, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The area around the hotel was quiet, it was the people that were noisy. We felt safe and comfortable. I recommended one personally come check this place out if you’re wanting to have a large gathering here. I would stay here again, even though there name brand hotels nearby.

Average stay rooms were a bit dated. When checking in had to pay an additional $7.50 a night for a service fee of which they could not explain. Nothing really to negative or positive just pretty much average. Not sure I would stay there again however. As for the breakfast, the eggs were fine. The sausage appeared to be steamed as they had no color whatsoever other then grey. Waffles were good. Good enough to eat and get something in your system, but that is about it. Staff and custodial services were polite. The heating and air-conditioning or more than efficient for the size of the room. No problems there.

Hotel is very old but has been updated (to the extent it can be). Rooms are very small. There was trash on the ground and stairs going to our room. Other than that, I gotta say, for one night, it was fine. Room was clean and king size bed was very comfortable. Heating/cooling was very good. Lots of towels were provided. Glorified motel. The room was smaller than I expected. There is no elevator and you had to take the stairs to get anywhere. The breakfast was mediocre. The website advertised a restaurant but there is a sign that says it is permanently closed. My mother said if you can’t say anything nice, find something. So here is what is nice. Our bathroom, albeit small, was updated and had nice fixtures. The gym was also very nice. All of the equipment seemed well maintained.

The room smelled like it had been doused in Fabreeze. Looked clean initially but the updates are so poorly done- the bathroom barn door didn’t close, and the toilet wouldn’t flush. When I called the front desk for help with the toilet, they said they’d look for a plunger. They dropped off the plunger and told me it wasn’t their job to deal with maintanance issues so I had to plunge the toilet myself.

They have bikes to rent, however, we were unable to rent them because they couldn’t find the air pump and all the tires were flat, so that was a bummer. Luckily there was a vendor that rented bikes along the river path…

They advertised there was a restaurant and lounge on the property and it wasn’t there anymore it had been closed down for months.
There was a water leak in the ceiling of my bathroom, it was like raining in there! They moved us to another room and in a couple of hours there was another guest in the room!!

The restaurant advertised in the listing and on their website, is not current. There is no restaurant on site. The continental breakfast is very minimal and items are brought out cold.( eggs freshly brought out were cold)

The pool was very cloudy, I thought the chemicals maybe out of wack, but the next morning there were a family of ducks playing and swimming in the pool.

The room was great, and comfortable and very roomy.

Overall suited out needs for weekend softball tournament. Room was clean, well outfitted. Staff nice. While remodeled, it was a little \"used\" looking. It bills itself as resort hotel, but not luxurious (as great price reflects). One plug came out of lamp and sparked, marks on lampshade, chipped wall paint, cheap makeshift barndoor on bathroom that didnt close all the way, permanantly stained tub, small holes in drapes). Lots of families with feral or unsupervised children made it difficult to enjoy amenities (e.g , running wild at the pool; the hot tub was a play place for a huge number of children into the night - suggest hotel have no children hrs in evening and clean beforehand).

The staff were all great. The breakfast was nice. I have just a couple of suggestions. The stairwells were a bit dark, especially at night or when coming in out of the bright sun in the daytime. For safety, couldn’t they be better illuminated?Also, the alarm clock in our room was defective. We did not plan to use it, but we noted that the alarm was switched off. Nonetheless, the alarm sounded at midnight on our first night there. Just to be safe, I set the alarm for 3 PM and made sure the alarm was still switched off. When we got back on our second day, the alarm was blaring. I notified the staff and they said they would take care of it. i’m sure that’s a one off problem. Location was great and we really enjoyed being able to borrow bicycles to ride down the riverfront path for a couple hours.

The hotel is a huge 2 story \"motel\" that is primarily programmed for large groups and conference events.....when we visited (May 1) it appeared deserted, and I only counted 6 guests....a little spooky to be in a huge hotel with only 6 guests.....Took me 15 minutes to find the ice machine....in room TV was having technical issues...The best part of the hotel is the huge pool complex and Jacuzzi, very well maintained

The Riverfront is an exceptional value. The rims are clean and spacious. We took the site, which was bigger than most 1br apartments, and included a huge soaking tub that is plenty big for two people. It had enough amenities that one could happily stay there for an extended period.
It was pouring when we were there, so didn't get to use the pool, but it and the hot tub looked pleasant and clean.

The hotel beds were very comfortable, but there was little sound proofing. Our room looked over the parking lot. We were disappointed to find the restaurant (predominately displayed in the photos) permanently closed. The breakfast was in a room with cement floors and was very noisy. Three out of four gates to the pool were not working. The best part was the location, with a lovely river walk and close to the park.

The blanket on the bed was super thin, we had to ask for 2 more then next day so we could get a good night sleep.
Breakfast buffet is pretty decent, althought the food could be hotter.
50 dollars per night for our 8lb dog was way too steep, 150 for 3 nights. If it wasn't an emergency trip we would have found a place that charged less to nothing for our dog.
We were exhausted when we arrived, my husband needed dinner, so he looked at the restaurant menu....he tried to find a phone number to call in his order but couldn't locate one. He went down to the restaurant to realize it was inside an extremely loud club...he had to get IDed, fit with a wrist band, just to go in and order his food....and then wait, listening to the loud misic. The lady that took his order obviously couldn't hear his order correctly, he had to yell and repeat himself...to come back to the room and realize she gave him sour cream, which he hates, and not the guac he had asked for.
This place worked in a pinch but next time we will stay somewhere else.

Staff was amazing, however the rooms were pretty disgusting. Pretty certain there were boogers wiped on the walls, along with who knows what other types of fluids on the walls. In the corners on the floor, there were so many disgusting things- bugs, what appeared to be rodent droppings, and who knows what else, hair, etc. We definitely kept everything off the floor and only used the room to sleep. Looks like they have tried to renovate it, but basic cleaning is lacking entirely.

The room was clean and spacious. I wanted to have a room with a soaking tub. I reserved an upstairs room and was not told until after I got there and asked that the soaking tubs were only downstair rooms. I understand why but that should have been made clear before arrival. The room we stayed in (281) has several issues that need addressed. The night stand on one side of the bed is falling off of the wall. The TV is mounted very crooked. On inspecting the mount for the TV I noticed the cable inlet looks like it was installed by a kid off of the street. The lamp above the night stand that is loose is also mounted very crooked. The shower head needs to be replaced. I tried to adjust the waterflow to make it spray. No go. The mattress on the bed feels worn out. There needs to be a new seal at the bottom of the entry door. Also the bathroom door does not shut and latch properly. You have to lean in on it to get it to latch. We tried to go down on Saturday for breakfast but the restaurant was slammed. Perhaps having more than one waffle machine and some more food options would make the line go faster. We never ate on Saturday at the hotel and just went out for breakfast.

The hotel room was remodeled and it was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had dinner at the restaurant on the property, Salud, and the food and service were great! I would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel offered so much for families and kids — the large swimming area, relaxing hot tub, and sauna were all fantastic. There were tons of fun activities for the kids, including foosball, shuffleboard, and even a video game room, which kept everyone entertained.

The staff went above and beyond — they were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. A special touch was the complimentary freshly baked cookies and yogurt for kids at the front desk, which our family really appreciated.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the entire property felt well cared for.

One suggestion would be to ensure that guests with mobility challenges can access first-floor rooms more easily, as our family member had some difficulty using the stairs and only second-floor rooms were available at the time of check-in.

Overall, it was a great stay, and we’d definitely come back again!
