The staff was amazing, parking was easy, and the AC was amazing. The room was old and in need of updates. Because of that there was mold around the tub, and the paint on the bathroom door was peeling. Otherwise the room was clean and sanitary.

Down side:Poorly maintained landscaping, broken window screens, chipping paint everywhere outside, litter in the parking lot, filmy windows, wrinkled carpets, restaurant closed permanently, staff helpful, but curt. Pool was dead center of the building, where swimmers would be on display by all-not relaxing. Upside: clean room, comfortable bed, adequate and clean shower.

Your hotel is Run down and needs an upgrade badly. I think n the air conditioner needs to be cleaned as o was stuffed up whenever I was in my room. Our group will not be booking you again for our 4 night getaway Unless we see a great improvement in the quality of the rooms. We were told we would get breakfast every day included in our price of room and when we arrived there was no breakfast and they didn’t even try to compensate us monetarily or by providing donuts snd coffee or anything. Disappointing to say the least and we have been coming there for 20 years. Wont be back☹️

We've stayed here many times throughout the years. This year the restaurant and bar were closed down permanently. No breakfast in the morning. Had to leave and go to an offsite restaurant. We did not know this. As this is one of the reasons we like Red Lion Hotels.
The property is run down. Needs a complete update. The toilet in our room was leaking and ran continually all the time. I reported it to the front desk when checking out. Wallpaper was pealing, towels old and worn.
Please upgrade your hotels.

I read the reviews before booking about it being old but clean. It’s both old, not maintained, and quite gross. The vestibule doors look like you have to have a key to get in when in reality you can just walk right in which is not secure.

Door key cards most times did not work had to get reloaded many times. Restaurant closed and no breakfast with room. Our room flooded due to room above mad and blocked drains and flooded there room and drained into our room. Had to move to another, NOT the motel fault.

Room was expected, having stayed there many times in the past.

I had made plans to meet others in the bar for appetizers only to find out it had been closed permanently according to front desk personnel.

Reservation indicated that my stay included breakfast for 2 only to find out “We don’t serve breakfast anymore”

Not what I expected or what I thought I had paid for…

Being part of a large group coming in July, I am left to wonder if this is temporary or do we need to make other arrangements?

I always stay at the Red Lion in Kennewick...this time I was in a room for the first time and not quite happy with it. It is called an accessible room but does not have a walk in shower and the toilet is extremely low...I don't call that accessible. I have bad knees so the very low toilet was not good. Also because of my knees and a back problem the shower in a tub was not good for me either...all in all, I would not call this room and don't think it fair for them to advertise it that way!!! Other than those problems, the Red Lion is very clean and the staff is very good and friendly. I will continue to stay here but will make sure I get a room with a walk in shower in future!

well no hot tub(was in add) no continental breakfast either 2 things that made me picked the property where not there..apparently they stopped breakfast the day before my stay..definitely outdated but perfect for the night or 2 if u just need a bed and a shower...they should lower the cost to 45 or 50 a night just to be full instead of empty..would hate to see the buisness be lost

They no longer serve breakfast, it was the only thing keeping us coming back, the hotel is actually run down. The exterior hasn't been painted in 3 decades, rooms are dated, we have no reason to return to this property, the breakfast was the only thing that got us past all of this.

Showed up late (9:30pm) for check in and staff was not very friendly and didn't do a good job explaining where our room was and we had to walk around facility in the dark outside for 10 ten minutes. We were on 2nd floor with lots of luggage no elevator and lots of different stairs all over the place. The toilet had a something wrong with it and the water ran in the toilet every 20 seconds and was very loud. This is the second time staying at a Red Lion in a year with similar experiences at both. Pretty sure we are done giving it a chance to get better, sorry..!!

The pictures do not represent what is actually there. Very outdate, sheets/bedding is old yet comfortable beds. The restuarant is shut down and that is not mentioned on the website. The availability does not match what expedia shows. Nice staff but it all just is NOT what you see online.

The front desk help was so amazing. It was numerous individuals in line and she assisted all of us with care. The free breakfast with the rooms we're awesome as well breakfast very delicious. Cheese eggs ,country potatos and sausage patties and links.
Lounge was so clean and the atmosphere peaceful. I will be staying theire next time I go visit my family. Thank you agin for the excellent hospitality.

I generally stay here when I come to the Tri-cities area. It conjures the nostalgia of traveling with my parents in the 80s and 90s. If you’re over the “dorm-style” extended stay hotels, this is the place for you. Overall, the property is clean but a little lacking in general maintenance and could use a good million-dollar facelift. But, I’m not too concerned with the exterior or whether some would say the decor is “dated”. (I think you could agree it is). The rooms are clean and quiet, it has free WiFi and is also safe. I left my car unlocked after I carried all of my bags inside and nobody messed with my car. I will definitely stay again!

Pre-renovation property. They have a nice looking front facade. But once you get around back the grass is dead. All the paint is falling off the building, there are homeless people living in the back parking lot, the carpet is 40 years old and buckling. It was nice that they put us by an outdoor water fountain, but it's obvious they don't or can't upkeep the grounds. Overall, sad and depressing.

I had ants in my room. Carpet had stains.
Notified staff of ants and they said they'd send maintenance, they sent a lady who sprayed bleach. The ants came back and we complained again and they asked if I wanted them to send people, I said yes and they didn't. I went back again and they said maintenance wouldn't be in until morning and they could send someone, they didn't. Complained on the last day and the person offered a new room but since we were checking out, it wouldn't have mattered.

Clean room, nice towels. This was once a great facility but is not in good condition now. The outdoor court area was once lovely now has a broken water feature, Weathered benches, closed pool and no garbage cans to put dog waste in. Big disappointment that the lounge and restaurant were closed. I booked this facility specifically because there was a lounge and restaurant on site. Windows were very dirty.

They overbooked, I arrived 10pm at night to check in and there was a giant line. Two families were told to go to the pasco red lion since they had no rooms, one couple got a key and came back within 10min and said you gave us a key to a room that is already taken and a family was in the room when we went in. It was ridiculously overpriced for a crappy hotel.

The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable enough. The hotel could really use a refresh from the sad paint on the exterior, to the musty smell inside, and the worn out, tired decor. It is in a convenient location and I guess the price is right, but the smell is what was hardest to take. Other guests in the hall concurred that it wasn't just my room - it was the hotel. Some said their toilets didn't even flush properly.

It took us an hour and ten minutes to check in. When we got in our room our smoke detector wouldn’t stop beeping. When we tried to call the front desk we weren’t able to. We were late to our event because of our late check in. I will never stay here again.

The photos of this hotel compared to reality is a big ole fat catfish. The entire property including the rooms are run down. We were also told that the parking lot in the rear has been attracting vandalists and to not leave our car back there. Not what you want to hear.

Room was clean, but very run down; Joe was friendly, but waited 45 mins to check in (and I’d already paid online); restaurant/bar was closed, so continental breakfast was next to nothing (brown bananas and granola bars); terrible experience. Arrived at 9:30pm, so definitely didn’t expect the check-in time to be that bad. People before me came back after check in because other people were already in the room.

We have stayed here numerous times. Our room was good, as usual, but the shower water was bad. The water wouldn't get warm unless you turned it the wrong direction, and then it wouldn't stay warm. If you didn't turn the shower on, then it would stay warm. We forgot to tell the front desk so it could be fixed. Other than that, we had good check-in service, and we went to Nomad for a drink last night and she was great too. We will be back again.

The parking lot was dark and a little concerning as far as safety, and the outer doors were unlocked so anyone could get in.
