staff were very good. Room clean. A bit noisy on the first floor. Chris the beach attendant was fantastic!!!! The area where hotel is does not have anything around it. Frederiksted does not offer much. Better in Christiansted. Need a car at Sand Castle. Cafe next door is not the best and it is the only thing around. Food got old real fast.

We had such a wonderful time, the staff was more than courteous they treat you like a king/Queen. So informationally and the restaurant staff was just as wonderful, and don't forget about the cleaning crew, We really did not want any room service while we were there so the cleaning personal tracked me down and gave me clean towels. Who else does that! The beach personal, I can not say enough. This experience was excellent and I highly recommend this resort if you want the experience of a lifetime. Thank you Sand Castle on the Beach.

We had a great stay! Grounds and room were clean and in great condition, was nice to have a full size fridge and kitchenette, bed was firm, AC and room controls worked great, staff were super friendly and helpful. Restaurant was fine, only ate there once. Continental breakfast is easily skipped - a few breads, apples, oranges - we stopped at a market and made use of the kitchen in the room instead. Lights around the hotel were bright all night which is nice for security but the little window in the room door meant that the room really bright at night so we taped something over it at night because we prefer near black out for sleeping, but that's just us. Would go back again!

This small boutique hotel was absolutely amazing! Every single member of the staff made us feel like we were family and was genuinely interested in making sure our stay at Hotel Sand Castle was fantastic! The hotel is on one of the prettiest beaches on St. Croix and the restaurant is also a destination on the island for its food and amazing sunset views. We have already made plans to return next year!

The room exceeded expectations. The pictures make it seem darker than it is. Very clean and perfectly stocked with pillows, towels, kitchenette items.
I’m not sure if the restaurant is under the same management. The vibe was completely different from the restaurant staff. While no one was unpleasant, I didn’t find the staff friendly either. Mostly seemed inconvenienced by the patrons. Felt odd given the hotel side staff were all lovely.

We got an oceanfront room with a beautiful view of ocean and and maybe 50ft walk to the beach. We enjoyed staff, food, and the amazing beach frontage that was all sand and coral! We snorkled everyday in front of hotel and saw lots of colorful fish, starfish and on our last full day we got to spend some time with a sea turtle passing through while snorkeling! We will be back to Sandcastle on the beach for sure!!

Right as you enter you will see a bunch of pamphlets on the wall with places to go to do activities, shopping, restaurants and more. ALL staff is very friendly, will give tourist recommendations where to go and right at the front entrance. Peggy at the bar introduced us to Tina who does tours ( J&T Adventures) I would recommend going with her as a first timer, when out and about remember cash is king, some places don’t take card. I am a shy person myself but she is very lax she will take you anywhere I mean ANYWHERE just hit her up. We got the chance to go sail/fish as well and a little sail boat parked at the shore, the face of the company is Steffy the dog to may see her in the water or on the boat. I was surprised they had free kayaking and snorkeling at the hotel, we had the chance to see a green sea turtle and many other fish during our stay! 10/10 would stay again

The team at the hotel was excellent, very friendly. The ocean was beautiful. The restaurant was, in my mind, just ok. Continental Breakfast was ok. I don't recommend going in August, very, very hot. I would think the winter months would be very nice. Not a lot to do off the property.

We really enjoyed our stay ay Sandcastle. Our deluxe waterfront suite was incredible, just steps from the pool, the beach, and the restaurant. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The menu at the beachfront restaurant was varied and the entrees were excellent. The only downside was the distance from Christiansted. We would definitely stay there again but extend our stay to two weeks at least.

The beach at the resort was an absolute dream for a honeymoon! We toured around the entire island during our honeymoon and kept saying that Sand Castles was the best choice! The drinks onsite were fantastic as well as the restaurant. The continental breakfast was a great way to start the day. We appreciated the snorkeling gear and the ability to take the kayaks out at no additional charge. The resort was so clean and everyone was so nice! We will absolutely be back again soon!

It is quiet on the beach here and relaxing. They do a great job at catering to your needs. We will definitely staying here again. It was all wonderful, but the thing that stood out most was the incredible staff. Josh, in particular, went so far out of his way to be kind and helpful to a couple of newbies (us) who had entirely too many questions and had done far too little research about the island before arriving. Thanks, Josh! Oh, and the food! If you try nothing else, have the seafood chowder. The best I've had anywhere, and I'm a chowder fanatic. We will definitely be back once we get a few other bucket list trips out of the way. Highly recommended if you want a truly laid-back vacation without all the hype and crowds found at other resorts on other islands.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was great! My loved the drink options. Although the food could use a little more seasoning it was very relaxing to eat & drink beach side. The only thing I didn't like is that because our initial stay attempt was cancelled by the airline due to weather conditions (which, of course, was out of our control,) Sand Castle only refunded us 50% and charged us the full room rental amount when we rebooked. Sand Castle made an extra $500+ on us.

Sandcastle On the Beach is a beautiful property on one of the loveliest stretches of beach on the island. The staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. The restaurant is also excellent.

The location is perfect. It's only a mile from Frederiksted, a sweet little town with several good restaurants and a beautiful pier. Many other great beaches and attractions, including the bigger town of Christiansted, are easily accessible by car or taxi.

My Hubby and I stayed here for 7 days. We enjoyed their clean rooms and their clean beaches. The scenery was absolutely wonderful. The drinks were great and so was the food. I absolutely loved the grounds and mostly the beach. I was clean and staff was great. The only thing I would recommend is either a true continental breakfast or open the restaurant for breakfast in the morning. Although the food was good, maybe more selections? Maybe different things each day.

We just returned yesterday from a perfect 5 day stay. We were continuously greeted by wonderful front desk staff who always made us feel welcome, and feel at home. From morning one, we started to meet other guests, some who come back every year, and it immediately starts to feel like a little community. Wonderful staff led by Ted, and Chris, who you would see circulating throughout the property daily, and who both stopped by to say a warm hello to us multiple times, and check in to ensure we were comfortable, and ask if we needed anything. This is a special touch of true hospitality that you will not get at just any hotel. Beautiful grounds where we always felt safe. The morning offerings of fruit, and juice were perfect for us. We always had a piece a fruit to put in our beach bag to start off the day. So convenient to Frederiksted, we were able to walk out to perfect beaches for snorkeling, and down the street to great restaurants, and dive shops where we rented gear, and walked out to, and dove some of our best dives ever, including the Frederiksted pier. Other great excursions nearby including horseback riding on the beach, and into the rain forest. All the activities we came to do were all right nearby. We couldn't have asked for a better first stay on St Croix. We have already talked about coming back again for more diving, and we can't think of anywhere else we would like to stay than Sand Castle on the Beach. Book this hotel!!!

The location was great. The room was nice and clean. Our favorite part was the restaurant. We ate there every night. Food was excellent and the staff was great. One of staff members who deals with the snorkel and beach equipment was a little snooty, maybe she was having a bad day. Overall it was a great experience and a nice boutique type hotel. One of the owners was very personable. Armas at the front desk was really nice and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful property, absolutely incredible staff. I seriously can't say enough about how excellent every single staff member is. Really makes you feel welcome and like you belong here. The kitchen in our room had absolutely every pot, pan, dish and cutlery needed. Our room was missing an item when we checked in so we let the front desk know and it was replaced in minutes. Very comfortable rooms and beds. The pool deck and beach are fantastic. I would recommend the sandcastle in an instant to anyone considering staying here.
