The location was awesome close to different events restaurants gatherings close to the pier for excellent snorkeling hotel security is great. The breakfast is downstairs it to order and it’s awesome. We totally enjoyed our stay there.

This place was immaculate. I had beautiful sunsets and friendly people. I had delicous creole breakfast every morning. Ate at Napoleon's and Top Deck. Their food was fresh and very tasty. Must have sunset on the pier!!!

Great stay! No-frills hotel, but room was spacious with a nice balcony with an ocean view. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and staff was great. There is a breakfast place in the courtyard which was convenient. This hotel is across the street from the water in the heart of Frederiksted. This is not a swimming beach area, but more accessible beaches are nearby. Frederiksted is a cool town that is recovering from the last hurricane so there is a lot of work yet to be done, but we love that the history and culture is still very evident here, not commercialized.

Extremely nasty place and extremely nasty town. A bum lives 50 yd down the sidewalk under an overhang and craps in the corner on the sidewalk of a building and there is riff Raff everywhere and I witnessed multiple broken car windows where they smash them out to steal whatever is inside in behind and beside this motel abandoned trashy buildings. This place is a huge dump and me and my son left 4 days early and they will not refund my money. The air conditioner in our room poured down water on my head in the middle of the night while it was raining outside and soaked my head and my pillows and the next day while we were out and about traveling around and it poured down rain. We came back to the motel and my bed was soaked and the pillows were soaked and the staff did not care. Do not go to any motel in that dump of a town. Especially this place!! I wish I could post the pictures that I have for you all to see.

We had a courtyard suite, the ocean was visible from the walkway side, and also from inside the room overlooking the courtyard you could see the ocean beyond that. This property uses keyless entry via code and I saw this as a real plus. The parking is not always easy and sometimes you have to park far away from the hotel. There are no elevators and it is a four floor hotel. The staff were kind and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The shower had a tankless water heater which is pretty cool.

The staff was great. We felt like we were in a third world country. The online photos need to be updated because the place was old and somewhat not so clean. Our view was of old destroyed buildings and houses. There wasn’t any boutique or museums. The shopping was like walking through the ghetto as were the clothes the shops sold. The ocean view was spectacular as were the grounds across the street thats it! It was sketchy walking back from having dinner at one of 2 restaurants in the vicinity. There’s a red light district that you wouldn’t want to walk by. We cut our stay short and went to Christiansted and had a pleasant rest of our vacation. I feel sorry for the people on the cruise ships that dock there. There’s not much to do.

Everything was great room smelled good ac cold bed very comfortable so before I checked out I took all my trash out of the room make sure both remotes were there and even left them a 20 dollar tip day after I got a call they couldn't find one of the pillows and they charged me 25 dollars for something that I didn't took who I hell steels a used pillow from a hotel

I did not try the breakfast only because they had put me on the 4th floor knowing I had a baby but did not help me out with my luggage until I asked twice. They didn’t even offer to move my room if there was one available on the first or second floor. It’s unsafe especially if ur traveling with kids. We had people try to open our room multiple times and to top it off. They don’t have proper locks where the balcony is. Someone is able to jump over to ur balcony and go into ur room whenever. Our room wasn’t swept or mopped and looked like it wasn’t even cleaned after the other people had used it. The toilet was clogged the whole time. It’s next to the beach and it’s wonderful but it’s an unsafe area after 5pm and places don’t open till the afternoon and close 2 hours after opening. Overall not worth it.

Great Weekend Stay

Check in was very easy, our rooms were ready upon arrival. The front desk receptionist (Veronica, I think was her name) was extremely friendly and helpful.

The rooms were nice, clean, and spacious. The bathroom was somewhat small but the overall space was nice. Having a microwave and refrigerator (mini) was so useful. The room was cold and the beds comfortable. I slept well every night of my stay.

Breakfast is not included however, the restaurant is very cheap, delicious, and filling. Food does take a while to come out though, it’s definitely not a grab and go place. The hotel is in walking distance of a lot of restaurants as well.

Overall, my stay here pretty great. I would definitely stay here again.

Advertised pool access.No pool on premises and the accessible pool was a hike plus a fee to use it. Surrounding area around the hotel demonstrated just how broke Fredericksted is.
The town needs a homeless shelter as many of their poor mentally affected are either walking around the streets and a few permanently in the park across the street from the hotel.
Our room that had been updated had broken floor tiles, sub par tv and air conditioning.
On the plus side the king size bed was very comfortable and Esterlyn’s breakfast bar at the hotel was great.

The location was perfect. Love being right at the water. Plenty of benches for people watching. Did not like the fact there are no elevators, but I managed slowly with my cane. I liked the island charm feel of the property. Everyone was friendly and very accommodating. I would stay again if the price would come down a bit.

Manager and staff are friendly and helpful. Great room: nice decor, comfortable bed and linens, nice kitchenette. Could hear street activities but 10p quiet time respected by those outside and inside hotel. They even have a community kitchen w/ a full size oven and stove top, sink, microwave, and full size fridge. They had utensils, pans, and a dish drainer and dust soap, herbs, salt/pepper. Wait there’s more. They have a coin operated washing machine, and dryer. The office has snacks, candy, beer, wine and clothes washing soap at reasonable prices. They even had plenty of quarters to dole out!

Definitely recommend and plan to come back!

The hotel itself is good (aside from them allowing people to do laundry in the middle of the night and the washer and dryer is in the hall and neighboring rooms have shutters for windows so it's loud). The homeless folks with mental health issues wandering up and down the street around the hotel and the people with the loud music and dog across the street was rather interesting. Everyone says it's safe but being a solo female traveler I didn't feel comfortable walking solo, especially if dark outside.

One-night stay. Issues: Someone had wrecked the outer layer of one of the windows. I was not informed about that before entering my room. Wifi quality was so poor that the room TV couldn't reliably stream a video off Netflix. Beyond that, great location, great staff.

The best thing about our stay was the staff. They were very nice and helpful in anything we asked. They were even proactive in letting us know that the breakfast area was flooded due the heavy rain and made suggestions of other places to go in the area. The hotel needs repairs and the homeless/drug addicts that stay around the hotel all day and night made us feel a little unsafe.

For the price that I paid - I expected a much nicer hotel. The hotel has an excellent view of the Caribbean sea, however it is in a very desolate area. it also has easy access to the beaches. When the cruise ships aren't in - there aren't too many businesses open for business. It is good for walking to places, during the day, but not sure how safe it is at night. I saw a lot of homeless people around. The area has yet to recover after the 2017 hurricanes. One day we didn't have hot water for our showers. Not sure that there are too many better hotels in this area. But we were disappointed. The staff overall was very friendly and helpful - but the area has some issues.

Our cancelled flight caused out to seek out last minute lodging on St. Croix. We were able to book a last minute room at the Frederiksted Hotel for the night. Checked in and within minutes had our room and were off to dinner down the street. Great location for access to all Frederiksted has to offer including the pier, shopping and dining.

This might not be 5 star, however, the staff are a 10 plus! So kind and helpful. The area looks scary when you arrive, it is not bad at all. We were out past dark on a couple nights and felt completely safe. The beaches are walking distance and you have tons of privacy. There are great places to eat in the area. The breakfast on property was very good and reasonable. There are 2 small grocery stores within walking distance. Bed was comfortable and lots of pillows. We will definitely stay here again!

A quick Birthday getaway

Overall it was a good stay. It was very close to the beach and nightlife. The room could have been cleaner. I didn't like the bathroom at all. I did buy some cleaning supplies and cleaned a few areas myself. My husband said the bed wasn't comfortable but it worked for our 2 night stay. The staff was really nice and helpful. I would stay again and recommend to others.
