Less good every time I say. Becoming dated but owners prob want to wait and see if war breaks out again before making investments. Breakfast was good but in general the service has declined and people not as fondly and helpful as they used to be. Will try somewhere else on my next visit

Gym was small, not fully equipped for a proper work out.
No sanitizer wipes to wipe down after sweet filled workouts by other guests.
Children should not work out under 12 years old, this is a liability and also they are just hanging out on equipment taking time from a work out.

We had a booking 5 nights at Totsna hotel Club Rotana room
Unfortunatly le club level was completely under refurbishment so no access ...
Ok, they were proposing drinks and some limited snacks between 18:00 and 20:00.
Two days after our arrival the pool was closed so no pool time fir us!
We paid an Club Rotana room level but be very disappointed by the services club we got. Staff very friendly but when we asked late checkout on the 13th was proposed only 14:00 instead of 16:00 as requested ...
We like the hotel location but pays club level tgst we did not get with No swimming pool and club level extras.
At least a reimbursement had to be done.

Good location and friendly staff. Just a few niggles, long wait for check in even at 4pm and dated furniture. housekeeping was often late in the day, meaning when you return to room for some rest before going out at night the housekeeping hadn’t even started the room yet.

Also too many disturbances knocking on the door, check minibar, turn down, survey, etc... although when called reception to remove ‘room service’ pots and food they never came.

Overall, ok but not quite as hoped or expected.

The hotel is centrally located in Hamra. Traffic in the area could get crazy but otherwise the hotel is great. The staff are excellent and very helpful. The sea view rooms are worth paying extra for. The view from the roof top is incredible.

Good location if you are visiting CMC or AUB. Hotel was clean and staff was welcoming. The view from rooftop is beautiful at night. WiFi is free, however if you are here on business I would recommend paying the additional fee as the basic internet is slow.

Attending a Lebanese Wedding

very disappointing and misleading. check in counter staff rude. 15 minutes waiting for check in. hotel has 2 buildings - website pictures are for new high rise building (built 20 year ago) but 1 bedroom apartments are all located in a very old (80 year old) 4 story building in the back side. To go to your room, you have to get out in the heat. City view is in fact the view of a back street and a busy parking lot and ambulances to next door hospital and to the wall of a next door dirty building literally 15 feet away from window. balcony is 1 ft x 2 ft with no privacy (see pictures). Requested non smoking room - big/cigar ashtray on the coffee table in the seating area!!! Requested high floor got 1st floor. No CNN. No TV Guide. stains all over carpet. Bathroom is too small (1 small sink) for a 5 star hotel!! bathroom tiles broken and dirty. no one answer (concierge, room service, front desk) calls. Majority of staff (cleaning, restaurant) are from Asian countries - way to go to support local economy and reduce unemployment. For breakfast, 1 chef for +50 people. No sign that eggs, French toast, etc. are available. By 10:00am, they stop replenishing the buffet. Every thing you ask for, they respond \"hotel is under renovation\"!!! What a joke. 1 set of newspapers in lobby only- no room delivery. I rate the hotel 2 stars.

Very central hotel ideal for restaurants and bars. Reception staff and cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel swimming pool too small and the staff here don't seem to follow rules on several things regarding safety. The hotel is going to have a face lift hopefully another pool or bigger one. Don't know how a 5 star hotel can run out of toilet roll and cream. This is a problem for management. Saying that I will return soon and the negatives will have been reversed.

Overall Wonderful but overpriced laundry service

It was excellent overall. However, the laundry prices were outrageous $170 for a few undergarments and some jeans. For someone staying for a while & needing laundry service that was a disappointment. Everything else was amazing.

We were made to feel very welcome. We had a great experience during our stay and would definately recommend this hotel to everyone. If you are looking for a relaxing break then this is the hotel for you. All the staff were very friendly and attentive, special thanks to the restaurant staff, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotlessly clean and the facilities met our expectations. The swimming pool and gym were of a great standard and we were able to enjoy both. We would like to thank Paul the duty manager for sorting things out for us, him together with his whole team are a credit to the hotel and you should be very proud of them all.

I liked the hotel in terms of room comfort and facilities. Air conditioning works well and is silent. Internet is fast. My only gripe is the price of breakfast, lobby bar and minibar. Ridiculously expensive.

Overall a good hotel.
Reservation was non-settled.
My reservation was nonsmoking room and they give me a smoker room.
Atmosphere of the room IS not good, it is hot-air actuation and separates from cool to hot.
Bad location– far away from the markets.
I don’t like it .
