Our stay here was amazing. This hotel was a great place to come back to at the end of a day of adventuring in Lebanon. It felt like coming home. The staff were incredible and were always happy to help us with whatever help we needed. From negotiating with taxi drivers, to advising us on places to eat, shop, and get a nice shave in Beirut. Every time we approached anybody they went above and beyond to help us. Mohamed (hopefully spelt right), Ali, and especially Omar could not have done anything more to ensure that our stay in Lebanon was more enjoyable. If we return to Beirut we will book this hotel again.

This hotel is perfectly located if you are visiting beirut. Close to dozens of restaurants and shops. Anything you could possibly need is within walking distance. When you get in a service' shared taxi with red plates it will cost you about $1.50 per person to get almost anywhere in the city. If you want to stretch out further its more like $2.50 each, so be aware.

But this is an excellent hotel, the staff are awesome, rooms are clean. Crepeaway restaurant is connected to the hotel. Cant recommend this place enough. Excellent value.

Great & Comfortable Stay!

In the heart of Hamra, my stay at the hotel was really pleasant. Big spacious room, working a/c and a clean bathroom. You can't ask for more when you've been out all day in sunny Beirut! Lots of nearby shops and cafe's. I didn't occur any issues in my trip and even so the staff are super friendly. The price was really reasonable too for a last minute booking. I would happily come and stay here again.

Excellent service, good location and at a reasonable price. We booked it as it has “airport shuttle”, but the shuttle was not included in the booking. Also, it seems a bit silly to charge for coffee pods when a Nespresso machine is provided in the room.

I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotels condition is very good considering the current situation in Lebanon and the staff made a point of making me as comfortable as possible during my stay including moving me to a more convenient room when I mentioned having minor broken stuff in my previous room. My stay at this hotel and the kindness of the staff made me love Lebanon even more than I already do.

I had a booking but i was not able to attend due to some circumstances , so I tried to postpone my booking or to get a refund through expedia and by the phone for over 15 hours, but they keep claiming that the responsible person is not available,so i had to make another booking on the next day. When mangaer \"Shaimaa\" finally answerered, it was terribly handled by her. She was careless,money oriented, very unprofessional, and disrespectful, barely replied to my questions, and sounded like she was making an effort to move her lips. I explained my situation and said I understand it’s a non-refundable booking, i just wanted to change the date ,she keep claiming that expedia is the responsible for the refund,and when i asked her to change the booking date she claimed the hotel is fully booked while on all the hotel booking websites their was availability. Shame!

It was very very bad, once you open the main entrance you are attacked by a very bad smell that stays there all the time.
The room as well smelled very bad.
Many objects of the furniture was falling a part, also the carpeting and drapes were not clean.
No privacy, the staff just opens the door and come in with out even knocking.
One of the reception staff who was on duty most of my stay was very rude.
No complementary tea or coffee only 1 small water for the whole stay.
The only half decent thing was the internet & the location of the hotel, also there was a nice bell boy but he was there for only an hour then disappeared.

The hotel was ok, however, compared with other hotels with the same price it was poor and it did not stand out. First, there are no tea or coffee in the room, second, there is no wifi service in the room, one has to go down stairs to use the internet. Third, the breakfast was very low quality. unfortunately the hotel does not really look or deliver what it says on its website. Please do not get me wrong, the staff were helpful and amazing, but this is the condition of the hotel it self. I suggest that the management should improve their facilities given the price they charge as its for now not a 4* hotel.

The property was very average. Cleanliness average. One day the maid forgot to put a shower mat on the floor so I had to use a towel.
Before I left London to Beirut I mentioned that my flight was due to arrive at 4.50am so would like for the hotel to provide me with a room to freshen up. On arrival they refused to provide me with any washing facilities. I had to wait at reception from 6am until the day manager arrived at 1030 who was adamant that I cant's get a room until 2pm. She was rude and very difficult and after a lot of pleading I was provided my room at midday. I told her that I was here to see my sister who had just had an operation but her attitude was that that's no concern of hers. I have never encountered such a poor service in over fifty years of travelling widely. So I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

I stayed with my friend for 3 days in this hotel and it was a really horrible stay.
Upon checkin when we arrived at the hotel the reception guy told me that the room available was with one king bed but i booked Deluxe Twin bed rooms, also when i booked this hotel i had an option to pay online or pay at the hotel the reception guy said that my card has been declined and asked why would you try to charge my card while i chose to pay at the hotel?So after an 15 minute argument and then waiting for about 1 hour they provided us a Deluxe twin bed room .
This hotel is in pretty bad state , the rooms are not so clean the bed sheets were yellowish the towel in the bath room were so old they had a broken hair drier in the bathroom , the lighting in the room is so bad , the breakfast so cheap you don’t have any option the only option you have is you eat terrible breakfast or you don’t , i asked for sunny side fried egg but they got me a burn egg as you can see in the picture that i uploaded along with my review , this hotel is 4 stars hotel which it should be rated as a 2 stars hotel

So WiFi is awful, never was able to get it in our room. The window was broken and didn’t lock and some of the rain had come in and caused some mold. The bathrooms have a lot of mold. And the walls are very thin, you can hear everything that’s happening in the halls.

upon arrival, i had requested a room with a queen bed, instead i was put in a room with three beds, when complained about it to the front desk, they said they are booked and that this is what they can offer for now, and that the queen bed is an option not a must, when i told him no, that was what i reserved, he rudely told me that this is what they got and can't do anything about it and maybe tomorrow we can change rooms, which never happened, they didn't call or make any effort.

their\"buffet\" breakfast is nothing more than a big pan of warm(not hot) chick peas and beans, with nothing else to offer as a main course, their emmental cheese are tiny slices of seemingly yellow cheese, but they were wrapped in some sort of meat (which i didn't ask about) so i steered clear of it), a platter of labneh (greek yogurt), which is about the only decent thing they serve. hey serve a variety of cereals, but they are in open plates, so no idea of freshness or anything. The coffee is luke warm.

the room was the worst, i had to set the room A/C to the lowest 16 degrees to get a mild 21-23, complimentary water on frst day and nothing more, and they charge you 4 $ per bag of tea (which is complimentary any where in the world), plus i got now a skin rash now from the unclean beds.

all in all, the worst hotel ever

Front desk were extremely rude check in was at 2pm wouldn't let us in until after 3pm. we booked for two rooms and two double beds in each room only got one bed in room one and two singles in room two. No towels in bathroom waited a couple of hours for towels, toilet paper and extra bed only recieved them after we complained. Sheets dirty on bed. No complementary tea or coffee had to pay if you want it. Bathroom dirty. no room service they turned up after 5pm on second night and wanted to clean room while we were in their. told them not to worry as we were tired after a long day out. Free wifi that lasted 10 minutes but only worked on one phone. Choose somewhere else to stay. dont wast your money here you can find better.

When we arrived the hotel room was dark and the a/c was very loud. The power switches off and you have to re set the A/C. The room view made you feel you were in a third world country. The internet was awful and kept dropping.
I asked for an upgrade room, or a room that was shown on the website. They did up grade us but we had to wait a day. The upgraded room was much bigger and nicer, smelled better. It was higher so it had sunlight coming in. Seemed the internet worked better too.
We ended up extending our stay in Beirut but did switch hotels.
