“Overall, everything was good and comfortable. Just one small note: because of occasional power cuts (which are common in Lebanon), the TV would turn on loudly when the electricity came back, waking me up in the middle of the night. It made it a bit hard to get uninterrupted sleep.”

Property is not safe at all and they were painting the reception and elevator access which damaged my son t shirt . Also it’s noisy and at 1 am they have music very load and next room talking can be heard easily . The toiles sucks and very dirty and sink is full of water and the smoking smell is everywhere you can not sleep

We had a very bad experience, the hallway and the rooms smelled cigarettes.
the management tried to fix the problem but were late and we had to pay for 2 nights (though we didn’t spend the night there) because the manager was on leave!

Stayed there 2 nights. Average. I liked it, as it was ti restaurants and to all the places I needed to go to.
Finding a close by parking spot in the street was sometimes a challenge.
I would stay there again.

Great hotel and friendly staff

Location is on the center, clean and new furnitures in hotel, rooms are sufficient for the budget. You can park your car on the street. The most important thing is that hotel staffs are very helpful and friendly, it makes you feel in safe when you may meet trouble or difficulty.

The 2 bedroom apartment is very very convenient.

Close to main Hamra street, things in the rooms was old but clean, just an aircondition to control the temperature so when you come it takes time to make ghe room hot, in the morning the is not hot enough to take a shower

Comfortable, modern hotel in Hamra close to restaurants and bars. I loved the design of our room. Service was Excellent! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Only thing missing is a view. Would stay again.

Clean budget option

Hotel is at the budget end of the market but perfectly adequate for a short stay. My double bed was just two singles pushed together which was a shame. Location is good - manageable walk or short taxi ride to all main attractions.

Great basic hotel in wonderful location. Hotel staff are awesome. Everything is clean and comfortable, but don't expect luxury. It's an old hotel and feels very 2-3 stars.

Nice hotel, in a minute you get to all Hamra shops

the Hotel is clean, rooms are decorated in a nice way. they have a decent wifi connection (although an update in speed will be good :) )
when i go to Beirut this is my first choice hotel

for US travelers, this is a 3 star hotel by US standards. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast spread was basic, nothing special.The bathroom finish is substandard and a lot of staining is visible. Carpet has stain spots. Hotel entrance is a simple long bench. This hotel will do if you are only concerned about night accommodations with air conditioning and free WiFi in the famous Hamra district of Beirut.

A Nice Hotel Right in the middle of Hamra

The hotel itself is run by the most friendliest staffs. The breakfast buffet they offered was decent, and the rooms where clean, tidy, and new. the rooms where quiet all through the day and being their on a vacation was the best part of staying in those room. being located in Ras Beirut, directly beside Hamra, access to everything was a walk away, even those without cars could enjoy staying there and going out

Lovely hotel, central location

Nice hotel in a central location.
Modern, clean and comfortable rooms but not noiseproof (like mentioned in the description!)
Standard breakfast buffet on the music of the Legendary Fairuz, nothing better to start your day with ;)
The personal were so kind and helpful.
Will definitely book the same hotel for my next stay in Lebanon.

Lovely rooms let down by terrible customer service

The hotel itself is lovely. The rooms are clean, funky, and modern. I would have given this hotel 5 stars if it were not for the terrible customer service they provided. We warned them of our late check in due to a delayed flight and they said it wasn't a problem; however had no room for us when we turned up, which would have been salvageable if not for their handling of. See below.
1. The night manager didn't bother apologising for the mistake. In fact he tried to claim 'we thought you weren't turning up'. Vaguely said something about having to stay in a nearby hotel after 15 mins of calls.
2. The poor 35 rooms driver clearly had no idea where this other hotel was (as we discovered in the morning, only around the next corner) so drove in circles for 30 minutes(!), occasionally stopping to ask people on the street where it was. We arrived at 4am.
3. The new hotel tried to charge us a higher rate despite it being 'organised' already. We sorted it out although they still tried to charge us extra the next morning. The rooms were shabby.
4. NO attempt the next day to compensate us for the inconvenience and the crappier room we had. When we pushed them, they reluctantly upgraded us.
5. Bags weren't taken up to room as promised which was literally the one thing they could have easily done.
The day manager was finally very apologetic, but it shouldn't have taken us getting really angry at them for that to happen! Very disappointing. Would have been great otherwise.

Good hotel. Not expensive. Each room has a different mural on one wall, which they seem to think is \"quirky\". Rooms are clean and comfortable and a good size. Staff friendly and helpful. Can't ask for more.

We stayed in an executive double room at 35 rooms for 10 days during a family trip to Beirut. The location was good, breakfast (free) was sufficient, and the room was spacious with good AC and free Wi-Fi. These are the good points. However, the room was dull and grey with some design flaws (nothing like the amazing website photos), the bed was uncomfortable and small for the room, and the carpet was stained and dirty. We did not use the kitchenette because the sink water leaked on the floor (some plumbing problems). In addition, the bathroom sometimes smelt bad (drains?) and could do with better towels. The toilet roll, soap and other essentials were not replaced daily when used up. The room rate was reasonable but for the price this is one of the worst hotels we've stayed in. We toured Jeita Grotto, Jounieh and Byblos which we highly recommend.

Great for Hamra Shopping

Stayed 1 night and thought this was a solid 3 star hotel with okay breakfast. Location was 1 block to Hamra Street and $20 USD hotel owned taxi, 20-30 minutes to airport without traffic. Two taxi drivers didn't know where the hotel was located so might take a bit extra time finding. Service was good however I thought the rooms could have been cleaned to a higher standard; some might not find fault.

Clean beds and central location

The room we stayed in was really clean with a great shower and good beds. The breakfast had a large variety of local/continental food and all the staff at 35 rooms were really helpful and friendly. We walked pretty much everywhere and the hotel is located in a busy and lively area - shops, cafes, restaurant, beach!
