Loved this hotel! Large room with comfy beds. Centrally located to trains and buses right in the center of Rossio. Walkable to many areas of interest and tour meeting points. Only downside is can be noisy at night but we didn’t mind. It was hopping and fun! Staff surprised me on my birthday with a beautiful flower bouquet and chocolate torte in the room! They were also extremely helpful. Highly recommend.

The hotel is clean. The staff are kind and helpful. The location is only a kilometer from the train station and 100 yards from the hop-on-hop-off bus. Our room was big and we had a nice fridge.
On another note, the hotel pumps in a perfume scent that is overwhelming as soon as you come through the doors to enter the lobby. Our room was \"overscented\" as well, I could taste it. Our room had no natural light. The windows opened into a 7 x 4 courtyard type opening. I felt very claustrophobic.

This is a nice hotel with small rooms as the standard room. The location is perfect and the restaurant connected to the hotel is wonderful. What was especially nice was the man at the desk was amazing carrying all our luggage up to the second floor since the elevator was not working. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great!

This is a very delightful hotel right in the heart of the Rossio district in central Lisbon. The location is perfect for an initial exploration of the city. It’s quite modern and the room I had was excellent, especially the shower with a very good rainfall head. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had. I can strongly recommend this hotel.

First time in Lisbon. The hotel is situated in a great location, easy access to public transport, restaurants and local sites.
The hotel itself is lovely, contemporary and very clean.We booked a room with a balcony and city view which was room 407. We were very pleased with the room and the view was fantastic of Rossio square.
The breakfast was nice, fresh and enough selection but possibly could have had a bit of variety each day.

The WiFi was great and always stayed connected.

Now to the staff. The whole team are so friendly and helpful and welcoming. I found this made our stay so much more memorable as I really appreciate staff to offer good customer service. In particular we would like to mention Pedro on the reception. He goes above and beyond. He has an exceptional way about him with his excellent customer service skills, knowledge, super friendly and a great sense of humour. It really made us feel well looked after. Thank you hotel International Design.

We had a wonderful stay at Internacional Design Hotel.

The location is excellent—right in the heart of Rossio Square—making it very easy to walk to all the major attractions, shops, and restaurants. It really doesn’t get more convenient than this.

The staff were extremely helpful, courteous, and professional throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome. They assisted with storing our luggage and ensured it was delivered to our room, which made everything very smooth and stress-free.

We arrived earlier than the standard check-in time, and the hotel kindly gave us access to their loft space. It was very spacious and comfortable, and this thoughtful gesture made a big difference after our journey.

The restaurant within the hotel building served an exceptional breakfast, with great quality and variety, making it a perfect start to the day.

The room size was good. Bed was comfortable and house keeping was top notch.

Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Lisbon, especially for its location, hospitality, and overall experience.

We had breakfast there and it was typical euro style with cold and hot choices in the buffet.
Pedro at tge front desk was superb. Helped us with luggage and with getting around Lisbon.

We had great stay at this property. The location is wonderful, staff friendly, breakfast lovely. Only room was too small for two people but balcony with view of Rosso square was a plus. One suggestion for them is to have bottle of waters in the room every day as water is essential.

Can highly recommend this hotel. The location was excellent very central with lots of amenities on your doorstep. Noisy at times if on front.
We ate in the restaurant twice as the food was good and reasonably priced.
Customer service was excellent. Staff were very kind and helpful and provided lots of information. Would certainly stay here again.

Pros: perfect location, close to everything: restaurants, shops, train station, attractions within walk distance; even though it is located in a busy area, it is quiet enough at night to sleep; good water pressure, nice thick and large towels; able to adjust room temperature efficiently; good breakfast and restaurant food, helpful staffs

Cons: bed is a little hard, very small bathroom, hair dryer is too basic, location of the room table behind the curtain is a little annoying to access

The location of this hotel is fantastic--on Rossio Square with plenty of nearby restaurants. The breakfast was excellent. The best part of thus hotel, however, is the staff. Everyone we came in contact with--front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping--went out if their way to help us. I cannot praise the staff sufficiently. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Genuinely don't understand why this place is rated so high. I would not have stayed here if I knew what it was like. My room smelled disgusting and had mold in the shower. I left part of a cup of tea out overnight and by morning it was literally swarming with bugs. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls. Gross.

It was an absolutely wonderful stay. The staff was very accommodating. My flight arrived at 5:00am. Understandably, they weren't able to get me checked in at that time, but there is a lounge on the 5th floor with a couple of couches. I was able to get a couple of hours of shut eye up there. After exploring the city for a few hours, they were able to get me checked in at around 11:30. Still way sooner than the 15:00 check-in time. The room was clean and had everything that I needed. It was nice surprise to find out the staff periodically comes around in the evenings to offer a little dessert.

The hotel restaurant was quite nice and the prices were great. The hotel had a promotion going on while I was staying there with a 50% discount on all breakfasts and dinners if reservations were made in advanced.

The location can't be beat when it comes to convenience. It is right in the heart of the downtown area with the 2 major metro lines just steps away from the hotel.

I would highly recomend this hotel.

This hotel is in a great location to access the city and transport links. The big glass windows in the restaurant are perfect for sitting and watching the world go by on Rossio square. Due to two days of uninterrupted rain when we visited in Feb 26 l, we did this a fair bit.

The staff are helpful and friendly and organised a taxi for our return trip to the airport. We stayed on the 3rd floor in room 309. The rooms are small but have everything you need including robes, slippers and lovely fragranced toiletries. Beds are comfortable, there is a mini bar, safe and coffee maker (we did not use this) in the room. The bathroom is modern and the shower was powerful and very warm. The only negatives for the room was a slight smell of drains in the bathroom and also if you had two medium to large suitcases there would be a lack of space to place them. There was one suitcase rack but really no other space for the second case. Also sound proofing between rooms is not brilliant but the hotel was not full when we stayed so this was not a problem.

Breakfast was fantastic with a many options including a made to order omelettes. We ate at the hotel’s restaurant on our final evening and would highly recommend the food, receiving a 50% discount on food was an added bonus.

Great hotel with a fantastic location. We stayed three different times during our almost four week trip to Portugal. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Hotel is a boutique style but offered a manned front desk, 24/7. Decent size rooms but with a few options for extra room space. We stayed in a street view for first two stays and upgraded to a superior with balcony and roomier space for third stay. On site restaurant has great breakfast buffet which I highly recommend adding to the room rate as it's a great start to your day, with good food and drink selection. Also great for happy hour drinks and dinner. Hotel provided welcome drink for each stay to be used at the onsite restaurant and offered winter stay 50% discounts on the lunch & dinner menu offerings. Fantastic food, really tasty sushi selections. I would book this hotel for a Lisbon (Baxia) stay over and over, fabulous choice for it's location and amenities.
