It was a lovely experience staying at this hotel. I was made to feel very welcome when I arrived. The reception staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful.
The self service breakfast was very good. All food on offer was excellent. This is a very old hotel but it's clean good value and right in the centre of the city. Very convenient for shopping and dining out.

Pretty good location in central Mendoza - we walked to many things. Parking was confusing. Breakfast was OK but not great - dry white bread, no cold milk, toaster didn't work well. Staff was helpful but you may have some problems if your Spanish is poor like ours.

Enjoyed our stay here. Close to shopping. Easy to get around. Very little English spoken but easy enough to communicate. Nice parks close by. Hotel has nice breakfast and reasonable menu for lunch or dinner. Not expensive. Large lounge area. Can store luggage. Would stay there again.

Great hotel at a low price point in the city centre. Check-in was fast, room comfortable. We had a room facing the internal window so it was very quiet. Wifi sucked big time - that was the only negative. Would stay here again.

Hotel room without windows and with a broken tv

The title describes the experience. Although, I was not expecting to spend all my vacations in the hotel room, I saw on internet something that did not fit quite well with the real experience. The tv was very old and broken. The bed was too hard and I could feel all the springs, the A/C didn´t really work and the windows.... well, it did not have widows, just making the room very stuffy. I spent two nights, It was not unpleasant, but it just didn´t fit my expectations. It is a affordable hotel, but I don´t think it would fit in the category of 3 stars hotel. A lot of improvements can still be done.

Works Well if You're On a Budget

Generally a good stay, but if you have $100 a night to spend, I'm sure the quality is worth the difference. But for around a little less than $50 a night, it did well for my budget confines. The first night, the power had shut down. Don't know if I could blame the hotel really, or just the neighborhood its in. Apparently it happens a lot in their summer season, and the other buildings had no power either. It came on five hours later. Neighborhood smack dab in the middle of everything though, so that's a big plus, so definitely a trade off. Good service with most speaking very good english, all speaking enough. The less expensive room, ironically, offers a cool view with a balcony. The one with the bathtub is of the buildings gutter. So choose your room wisely, front of the hotel is much better than back for views.

Sleepless in Mendoza

During five weeks stay in Argentina, we found some wonderful hotels, this was definitely not one of them. The location near the Central Park Mendoza is good, the room rate is cheap and this reflects the hotels location on one of the busiest roads in the city.The hotel is linear therefore half the rooms face the road, and the windows do not fit properly so there is an enormous amount of noise from trucks and buses all day and night. We booked a room on line for two nights and only found out it wqas on the roadside on arrival when it was too late to back out. Consequently we didn't get any sleep for two nights. The car parking is also mis-leading, the site says ' self-park' which is correct, but it's self park and at extra cost. Finally, there is no seperation doors between the hotel and ground floor restaurant so there is a strong smell of cooking food in all the coridoors. If you need to stay in this hotel then insist that the room must not be over the road.

Good value for money in the centre of Mendoza.

My wife and I had a good stay at the Cordon del Plaza. The hotel is well-maintained and clean, although some aspects are a little outdated (the tv remote in the room didn't work very well). Overall, a very good affordable option in the centre of Mendoza.

Decent Value Choice

Very small hotel. Upgrade to executive room. Two at front desk spoke good English, others not really. Speaking Spanish helps. Mostly older clients during my visit. In the center of Mendoza. Walking distance to most city attractions, except wineries. Good restaurants and shops nearby. Ideal for mid-range flexible travelers looking for decent hotel room. Good wi-fi and hot water / air-con work well in executive room. Breakfast is a very basic Argentine buffet, no fruit or hot dishes. Carfour (super market) near light rail station is excellent. You can take the the Mendoza light rail to last stop to tour largest winery, Lopez and another close to station on main street. Buy red card and fare at convenience shops. I walked two miles each way from station to Winery museum and back, which was great free museum, but would not recommend to others. You can rent bike at last station stop. Do not walk further than Lopez winery this is a very shady town. Argentinian police are useless.

Fumigation problems!

The room itself was adequate but it was obvious that it had been fumigated very recently & it was incredibly unpleasant to breathe the air inside the room. There was no window able to be opened for fresh air. We asked for a room change after the first night & were given a slightly better smelling room for the next 2 nights. The staff were happy enough for us to change rooms although were reluctant to admit that there was a fumigation problem.

the hotel dont bring none a single water bottle, the AA equipment need maintenance or change, the only window of my room didn't bring much privacy and has none view to nowhere place, the restaurant hall was very hot early at morning and none AA was working until 12pm, the internet signal is very poor if you move above the lobby or if u are inside your room.

Older but great and convenient

This hotel is located downtown in Mendoza. It is an older hotel but it is clean and the staff is more than helpful. They have a restaurant that is connected to the hotel. Breakfast buffet is continental style but large and comfortable. They are also open for dinner but not before 8:30 (20:30). There are various parks within a couple of blocks. Though downtown did not notice excessive noise from the street. We felt that it was a great value also.

Mendozas cheaper end hotel

The hotel its in a very central location, not far from a supermarket and right on a street with lots of shopping. We asked for a double bed, and got two beds side byside I guess thats their idea of a double bed. Its not bad just wouldnt reccommed snuggling up to someone with the crease on your back. We had a room on the 2nd floor with a window overlooking the street, if you have the option try to get a room in the hall the road was very busy all hours of the night & day so bring ear plugs if you get stuck with a room on the street. breakfast was ceral cheess, milk, and some meat I would call balogona but im not sure. all and all our stay was decent but would advise anyone staying in the hotel too stay away from the rooms overlooking the street, the noise was almost unbarable

The hotel was really nice and clean, especially the room. When I go back to Mendoza, I'll stay there certainly. The most outstanding is that the location of the hotel is in walking distance to about most of the nice restaurants e shops. It's near to the main parks. It's far from the winerys, but all hotel are as well. Breakfast didn't have much of variety, there were no fruits. We stayed 3 days.

Check in service was good but check out took a long time. Granted several people were checking out just before 9am but it is a small hotel and guests should not have to wait so long to check out of the hotel. WiFi did not work in rooms, but worked well in reception. However reception only has one small bench to sit on. The hotel also provides 2 computers at reception for guests to use. The restaurant in the hotel was at best mediocre but offered a low priced prix fixe menu. A free breakfast buffet was included in the room rate but the coffee was terrible. The food selections were standard and fine. No hairdryer in room. One was lent to me but asked to be returned to be lent out to someone else. Room was clean but a little shabby and too cold with no way to regulate the heat. However extra blankets were provided. TV hangs down from a corner of the room. Pleasant service but hotel and room in need of upgrade.

This hotel is conveniently located near shops, is welcoming, has a restaurant attached that offers room service, is clean and well-kept. even though it is in a busy area, it was very quiet in my room. Big room, comfortable bed with upscale bed linens, great bathroom with bathtub and good shower. excellent high speed internet service free. There are various tours available and the hotel has good contacts with tour operators and drivers.

Elegimos este hotel porque informaba que había estacionamiento, pero al llegar nos sorprendieron con un cobro de 15.000 pesos por día, algo que no estaba claro al momento de la reserva. Además, en la calle no hay lugares gratuitos para estacionar: hay personal de la municipalidad cobrando y, además, aparecen “trapitos”, lo cual hace aún más complicado estacionar por cuenta propia.

Otro punto negativo fue el desayuno: las fotos publicadas no corresponden a la realidad y inducen al error. No había opciones básicas como frutas o huevos, lo cual fue bastante decepcionante.

Al hacer el check-in, recibimos un papel con información que decía que, para la limpieza de la habitación, bastaba con dejar la llave en la recepción antes de las 11 h. Hicimos exactamente eso, pero al volver la habitación no había sido limpiada. Es decir, la información proporcionada era incorrecta, ya que era necesario solicitar la limpieza, algo que no fue explicado.

En general, la estadía dejó mucho que desear, principalmente por la falta de claridad en la información.

Excelente Opção em Mendoza!

Excelente hotel em Mendoza! Muito bem localizado com bastante comércio e restaurantes próximos. Próximo do Mercado central de Mendoza e também é possível ir até às praças caminhando. O hotel é organizado e com estrutura muito boa! O atendimento da equipe é excelente! A única observação é que no meu quarto não tinha frigobar, mas não atrapalhou a estadia.

A really bad hotel. It was not clean, the rooms were very noisy, the blinds for the window didn’t work, it was hair in the bath tub, all floors were dirty, the towels very used and we even found old blood stains on the blanket.
No one spoke English
the breakfast was very limited and not fresh.
We left after one night because we couldn’t take another night.

A localização do Hotel é muito boa. O Pessoal da recepção é muito gentil e prestativo. O apartamento que me hospedei estava em mau estado de conservação. A cortina estava danificada, não cobria totalmente a janela. As travas da janela não travavam. A descarga do banheiro não funcionava bem. Vazamento na banheira. Após o banho o piso do banheiro ficava muito molhado. Desde o primeiro dia informei a recepção.

Excelente localização, bem central, perto de pontos turísticos como a Peatonal , Plaza da Independencia, Plaza San Marrtin, Mercado Central, cercado pelas ruas de comércio, bares, até ao Parque General San Martin fomo a pé!! Usamos táxi (baratíssimo no nosso câmbio) apenas para algum restaurante mais distante!! Funcionários atenciosos , calefação em todos os ambientes! Café da manhã satisfatório com pães, média lunas, frios, frutas, café, leite, cha, achocotatados, sucos, máquina de tostar , só senti falta dos nossos ovos mexidos! Recomendo e voltaria!!!

Hotel M excelente ubicación falta por mejorar

Cuando llegamos en el check in nos informan que el estacionamiento que ofrecen es fuera del hotel y se debe pagar, luego nos dicen que nos cambiarán de hotel a “Hotel M” ubicado al frente, que está nuevo y lo están promocionando, fue un buen cambio el hotel estaba impecable, pero muy dependiente del hotel Cordón del plata, los segundos los llevaban de un hotel a otro por lo que se acababa la comida y había que esperar para su reposición, el segundo día había una cucaracha en el baño, pero en el global fue una muy grata experiencia, no había TV por cable.

La limpieza y las acomodaciones están buenas, pero el gran problema del hotel es el desayuno que es siempre la misma cosa y con pocas opciones: pan y medialunas. A parte el hotel nos queria cobrar un valor de 5 mil pesos referente a servicios. Nosotros recusamos en pagarlo.
Está en una buena localización y recomiendo la habitación de luxo.

Com... tErminé pagando sin faCtura 860 de iimpuesto y 5 dolares que se con ierten en 10 por el uso del regalo y encima tuve que elecir hotel debla mitad del valor de mii canje PORQUE NINGUNO QUERÍA CANJEAR. AQUI TERMINA MI RELACIÓN CON HOTELES. COM. Aparte: el baño un desastre habita ión 123. Mi vuelo llego tarde ingresé 23 hs. A las 8 se me mete una mujer de limpiieza en la habita ión a las 10 tenés que irte y a las 15 entrar. Que clase de servicio deja al pasajero 5 horas cobradas sin su derecho?

Problemas de Supervisão técnicas

Otima localização, perto dos principais pontos da vida noturna e compras em Mendoza. Quarto amplo, bem confortável, porém carece de supervisão tecnica. Quando cheguei reclamei da falta de funcionamento do mimibar - levaram três dias para resolver. A banheira vaza por baixo, estão em cada banho era aquela molhadeira. Usavamos tapetes e toalhas para secar.

L’hôtel est très sale. Moquette immonde, couvre lit taché. Insonorisation nulle, on entend tousser et parler les voisins, sans parler des bruits de la rue. Odeur nauséabonde d’égouts Et d’humidité dans tout l’hôtel particulièrement à l’accueil et dans la salle de bain.

o atendimento excelente, hotel bem localizado mas a garagem é longe, paga à parte, caminha-se muito e não havia frigobar. Conseguir uma água gelada à noite era bem difícil.

Poner mas atención a los servicios principales.

Mas o menos, aire acondicionado estaba defectuoso, funcionaba solo 10 minutos con aire frió y luego recirculaba volviendo a calentarse la habitación. El WC filtraba no terminaba nunca de llenarse.
En las mañanas no dejaban dormir con el ruido de las jóvenes del aseo en los pasillos.
Pedí cambio de habitación y no tenían disponibilidad.
Tuve muchos problemas al Check-in. la señorita no tenia como validar del pago que realice en la pagina web. a pesar de mostrarle el correo electrónico de la reserva.

Mi queda aqui en Cordon del Plata estuvo muy excelente. Recibi una habitacion muy comoda, limpia y quieta. El hotel se encuentra en el centro. Perfecto.😃

Hotel Muy Bueno para ir en Familia o en Pareja. Muy Buena ubicación; La gente del hotel siempre bien predispuesta, La limpieza muy buena, Desayuno Bueno.

Al llegar pase un mal rato porque no me dieron la habitación que había reservado y tuve que reclamar para que me hicieran el cambio. Eso ya me pareció mal.
Y el último día tuvimos un problema con el aire acondicionado el que filtro líquido inundando la habitación lo cual fue bastante desagradable. Nos ofrecieron cambio pero ya sólo nos quedaba una noche.

Lo que no me gusto es en la habitación 208 la tv es muy vieja y la cama matrimonial ern 2 camas juntas que era imposible acostarse en el medio ya que se sentia mucho la unión y te hacia doler la espalda
