The hotel is located on St. Joseph Bay, Bathsheba, on the eastern coast of Barbados, around a 10-minute walk from the centre of Bathsheba, and a 45-minute drive from the tourist centre of Holetown.
The international airport is located just 40 minutes from the hotel, and the capital Bridgetown is located 40 minutes away. Renovated in December 2010, the family-friendly hotel has 10 guest rooms and a lobby area with hotel safe.
Public areas have complimentary Internet access and parking facilities in the car park are free for guests. The hotel provides services for weddings and offers currency exchange facilities.
Fine food is served in the hotel restaurant. Additional amenities include a library, plus room and laundry services.
The hotel's guest rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a shower, bathrobes, toiletries and a hairdryer. The rooms have a flat-screen 26-inch TV with cable channels and complimentary wireless Internet access.
A king-size bed, telephone and radio feature as standard, and valuables can be stored in the in-room safe. All rooms are equipped with a fridge and coffeemaker.

Historic hotel with lovely views, nice onsite restaurant and bar, decent pool, and coastal walking trail that goes directly north-south. Most importantly, a very friendly staff that you will know well by check-out. Felt like an old-timey inn experience. Fantastic!

Atlantis is beautiful, the staff are great, and the east coast is a wonderful peaceful place.
We've stayed before and always enjoy our stay.
You'll need a car - there isn't much in terms of supermarket or dining etc nearby, altho \"De Garage\" is just around the corner and they make some great food and have basic items like snacks etc.

We loved that they had a kitchen in our disposition. We were able to use and familiarize with the history of the building with the numerous photographs all along the walls. It was beautiful and the staff were super friendly and approachable. They were always ready to answer our questions. If you want to feel a little like a local definitely go to the Atlantis Historic Inn!

Wonderful Hotel in every way possible. Location was outstanding as was the service from all the staff. Food was really excellent. In all we could not fault the Hotel Atlantis.

I so wanted to love this hotel but it was underwhelming, a bit tired, lacking in much atmosphere, and the staff, whilst polite, were not overly helpful or accommodating.
We were also extremely annoyed to find out we had been booked on a room only basis when it had been made out to be on a bed and breakfast basis. This was completely misleading and the hotel staff were unhelpful and unwilling to do anything to make up for this issue. So we ate elsewhere.
Our coastal room was large, clean and classically stylish - but looked out on a generator and had nearby dogs barking constantly from 6am - so book an ocean view to avoid this! The in-room fridge was in dire need of replacement as it was rusty and not somewhere to keep fresh food or drink. There were cracked tiles in the bathroom and our toilet seat was broken.
These things are not reflective of the hotel prices and made for an overall disappointing stay.
There are better places to stay nearby in my opinion with better amenities. The Atlantis needs a refurb and some love injected back into it as the location is stunning on the East Coast and it has a lot of history…It seemed to be a bit forgotten and unloved by its current owners…

Couldn’t get more Oceanside big great pool and pool side area perfect and steel drums and other music perfect volume and selection …room spacious super comfortable and ALL staff was fabulous made me feel pampered special and like family they care! Underwhelming and in need of an update
We booked a weekend stay with the intension of surfing nearby breaks. Prior to arriving I corresponded with the front desk to line up a guide and surfboard and they assured me that it would be arranged but when I arrived. However, I was told that the guide never replied and there is not a nearby surf shop, so everything seemed up in the air.
When we were showed our room, we were very underwhelmed as it was dark, windows were dirty, floor was sticky, and it smelled musty.
After sitting down to lunch - which was just OK, we decided that this is not the right fit especially if the surf guide/board is up in the air and staying in a tired hotel with a small pool will only go so far so we booked another hotel on the south coast. I explained that we are leaving with all the above points to the front desk, asked that if they can return a night or two in good will but not a chance and he started on about how they were fully booked instead as if I should feel bad about leaving..

It’s a beautiful, rustic property, located in the East coast of the island. The views are amazing as it overlooks the sea. Do note that it’s pretty far out from most popular and tourist attractions (35 mins drive). It’s not bad during the day but at night it seemed tedious to drive back to the hotel, with not so great roads. I did however appreciate the countryside and the contrast of there to the South side. Definitely rent a car if you’re staying here. The hotel itself was clean, quiet and the staff were helpful. It’s more of a self service type of stay, although there’s a restaurant on site.

Beautiful Historic Inn
We had a wonderful stay at the Atlantis, everyone was super helpful and the hotel was great, even though we were there during the off-season. Really enjoyed the pool and the serene views from the 2-bedroom apartment. The East Coast is beautiful, and this Historic Inn is very charming, as it used to be a railway station... the authentic feel makes this Inn a great option for those who wish to experience the quieter side of Barbados.

After five years, we finally returned to the Atlantis Historic Inn. It is situated on the East Coast of Barbados in Bathsheba, just above the shores of the Atlantic. We have come to the Atlantis year after year to regenerate and enjoy the beautiful Historic Inn, nestled in the hillside just above the surf. It is a relatively small Inn and beautifully appointed, whether your room overlooks the water or the quieter garden rooms. It has a very charming outdoor dining area with the adjacent pool. We happen to be there on Mother’s Day Sunday and attended, their famous Bajan buffet giving us a chance to meet Bajans from all over the island.
The food is delicious whether it’s an early morning breakfast watching the sunrise or a late evening dinner under the stars. The service is impeccable, warm and caring.
We love the INN and everything about it. However, it is the people we meet who takes such good care of us that makes us come back time and time again. Antonio Millar, hotel manager couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff also is so very kind; just the kind of people who make the Inn so special and welcoming. It is a jewel.

The Atlantis Inn fulfilled all our expectations. The views are amazing! The room was clean and nice. The staff were all exceptionally helpful, friendly and welcoming! The bed mattress’s could be more comfortable, the windows/balcony doors need room darkening shades or curtains.

The two bedroom cottage was an absolute delight to stay in. Well appointed in a rustic way, breezy, directly ocean front and very peaceful and quiet. The hotel’s restaurant is also fabulous and we can’t wait to return!

This is a really beautiful small hotel. The views from the restaurant are exceptional. The staff are really friendly and attentive. We had a garden room which was bright, clean and spacious. Sadly I think we had the room with the worst view over the garden section that housed the water and gas tanks. Other than that we were very, very happy with our stay here.

Booked this hotel to get ready for my wedding, and to come back for our wedding night...Hotel was closed..they will rent you the room but no one is there, they told us if we wanted food we could cook our own. When I booked hotel never told us they were closed, they will reopen July 6th or around that time...we didn't stay

Spent four wonderful nights in an Ocean front suite and this was truly the highlight of my trip to Barbados. Clearly a very high standard of cleanliness and extremely friendly staff, particularly Antonio and Kerian.
Food in the restaurant was absolutely super. The Catch of the Day with truffles fries is a solid choice which I had twice during my stay. You can easily spend the day relaxing by the pool or taking a walk nearby to Andromeda Gardens.
Whatever your reason I recommend the Atlantis as a top choice in Bathsheba!

Bottom line, DO NOT GO to this hotel. I can only speak to the apartments. I would presume the single rooms are adequate. But overall the staff is weird and not able to understand basic concerns. The resort is overall very tired and COVID is NOT the reason why. Ripped screens for mosquitos to enter, broken shutter slats, cracked and tiles missing in shower, grossly stained granite and marble, constant septic smell, soiled bed matts, bubbling paint on exterior. Overall very dirty and not updates for 15 years and the kitchen looks like it is out of Home Depot. Refused to spend our money there and went to the Eco Lodge next door where the staff and food was fantastic

What a great place! Just completed a one week stay at this amazing hotel for quarantine and had a very enjoyable time. Javon and Antonio looked after me well. It was great seeing familiar staff in these COVID times. Restaurant is currently closed temporarily but that was no issue for me. Lots of delivery options are now available. Fantastic stay in a lovely hotel in exceptional times. It was a little like camping in a hotel room as there was no kitchen open and no bar open. The setting and facilities are great, the rooms and bathrooms large and clean. Would love to return when the hotel is fully open

Bathseba is beautiful. The ocean views from this hotel are amazing but that’s all. The hotel itself has dirty, poorly lit rooms with dingy furniture and bristly hard carpets. The wood floor’s in the rooms have seemingly never been mopped/cleaned. I don’t recommend walking barefoot in your room. The only star this hotel gets is for the ocean view, would give it negative stars if I could. I would recommend staying someplace where they cleaned at least once every couple of weeks. Cleaning doesn’t happen here!

I recently travelled to Barbados and found this beautiful gem of a property on the approved list of quarantine hotels in Barbados and it checked all the boxes. Shortly after booking Javon the manager emailed me to find out my flight arrival details, advise me of the hotel regulations while awaiting my second test and he kindly offered to collect me some groceries from the supermarket if I needed before arrival.
Martins Bay was a beautiful ocean front suite with air conditioning which I didn’t even need. It felt so peaceful relaxing in bed looking out to the Atlantic Ocean. Definitely the best hotel in the Bathsheba area. I can’t wait to book again!

Felt so relaxed and at peace with this small property, especially in light of all the uncertainty generated by COVID-19. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. The room (Skeete’s Bay) doesn’t directly face the Ocean but is extremely well laid out and spotlessly clean. Patricia our housekeeper was a star and the guys in the office were very efficient and helpful in arranging reservations and a car for us. Came by for the Wednesday Buffet Lunch last week and found the hotel to be very welcoming and charming. I asked the manager to see a room which he immediately did and I was sold. I told him I would book my husband and myself in for a one night stay the following Tuesday which we did. The room Soup Bowl was flawless. Directly ocean front and amazing views. We’ve just come back from a weeks stay at this hotel and loved every minute. The location is stunning. Dramatic coast line with the infamous ‘soup bowl’ surfing bay within walking distance. Meals at the Atlantic restaurant are good and they even have vegan options and almond milk - which was fantastic for my lactose intolerant daughter. The menu is very good at lunchtime but more limited in the evenings ( particularly if you are veggie).

Good for a limited 2 day stay to see east coast. Conset room was large and comfortable. (No balcony) Almost every day this small Inn was invaded by a bus or two of cruise ship passengers for rum punch or for lunches. Food gets expensive here if you stay more than few days. There are very limited alternative food options in the area. Room has a fridge and a kettle but no coffee maker. Hotel was deserted on the Weds night when the restaurant was not open. Slightly eerie feeling. There was supposed to be a security guy around somewhere but we didn't see him when we went in the open front door after dark into the empty hotel.

Wow! Spent last weekend here with my husband and couldn’t have been happier with my stay. Our ocean front room was to die for and we could look directly into the ocean from our bed. Food in the restaurant was outstanding, especially the Sunday Buffet Lunch. It was always a joy to visit the bar for cocktails on afternoons. Having stayed at their sister property Little Good Harbour before, we wanted to experience this one. We popped in a Sunday afternoon after lunch and met the GM Javon who took us upstairs to see a room and we were completely sold. We immediately booked and he guaranteed us an early check in the next day which was done.
Let me just say, the staff here are absolutely amazing. From Javon and Antonio in the office to Caryl, Ophia and Shanell in particular in the restaurant. Our meals were all flawless and the scenery spectacular.

I needed a quiet place to enjoy New Years Eve and this was the perfect spot. Managed to find a room last minute and from the time we arrived I was blown away by the welcome I received by staff and even more blown away by the excellent service in the restaurant. Our room was Cattlewash which was well appointed and felt like a home away from home. Lots of tv channels available, more than 1000 if I remember correctly from all over the world so I was kept well entertained.
