Wonderful stay from start to finish! My daughters and I truly enjoyed Hilton Grand Vacations Club The Crane Barbados. Our room was spacious, sparkling clean, and felt like a home away from home. The property is absolutely beautiful and perfectly situated—such a relaxing atmosphere. The Paint & Sip with Jonelle was the standout experience of our trip—so fun, engaging, and memorable. We can’t wait to return!

My birthday trip at the crane went very well. The check in was great with Diangelo’s help specifically at the front desk as he made the check in smooth and offered me and my friends a lot of information about the crane and Barbados in general as it was our first time in Barbados. I would be returning for sure as I had a great experience.

Spacious 1 bedroom apartment in an amazing resort. Enjoyed the experience more each day of our stay. Great place to relax and unwind. Grounds are amazing!

Resort staff is friendly and keeps you informed with text and email updates. Nice town square in the middle of the complex. Duty free shop is even reasonably priced.

Dining is expensive, but resort-reasonable. Be sure to try Poesia, the recently opened Italian restaurant. Lunch at Carriage House is great. Beach BBQ is fun, but pricey.

There were some minor maintenance items (our unit needs a new shower head in the main bathroom and sofa is past its prime), but those were easy enough to overlook.

Be sure to look for the monkeys in the trees in the circle near reception late afternoon to early evening.

Upgraded to a spacious suite on check-in, which was fantastic. I would highly recommend the suites with the plunge pools, which seem to have laundry as well. Gorgeous beach, plenty of pools.

The downsides are: we were only here one night, and one of the main restaurants was closed, so we chose the other, and the food was not very good. None of the advertised extras like welcome drink or bottles of water were provided. And the 10am check-out time, despite having arranged for a 1pm checkout upon reception, was a surprise!

Overall, happy we chose this place, but a few areas under-delivered.

Good standard of accommodation for Barbados and value for money in the 5 star category. Pleasant staff makes all the difference too. A lot closed down in the run up to the start of “the season” as ever present construction underway at the Crane (didn’t distrurb otherwise) and some restaurants onsite closed.

Great resort on the quieter side of the island
While resort older rooms beautifully appointed and large. We stayed in a one bedroom with pool oceanview it was spectacular. Due to time in year late October we lost the sun in our pool around 1 pm so retreated to the larger pools fur the afternoon. Coming back in may 2026

The attitude of some of the front desk team. I arrived the previous day and was told to call for buggy service ahead of time and because of my intending time I wanted to leave security would assist.

The morning of my departure I called ahead at 7:00 am to arrange a buggy to collect my suitcases and bring to the front desk for 07:45, only to be told in the most abrupt and rude manner, no staff are available until 8:00 - I can call our security team and see if their WANT to do it!
What a poor example of customer service from a major hotel chain. I was not afforded an apology.

Good afternoon, To whom it may concern,

When first arrived at the property there was no one to greet me. The first desk attendant seemed disengaged. He was not rude but he was not pleasant either. The first room I was given was dirty and had mold throughout. There was a large construction project happening during my stay. Once my room was changed I did not have hot water for two days. One of those days there was no water at all. They reported that there was a water main break to the whole property. The A/C unit in the living room never worked. I reported and they never came to fix it. The showers had soap scum on them and the mirrors were extremely dirty. The entire property was unkept and needs a massive overhaul. Only on restaurant was open and there is not many choices of restaurants off the property. Taxi service is extremely expensive. I had to pay more in taxi fees than what my meal would cost once I was taken to a restaurant. This was my worst travel experience in my whole life and I travel often. Your company rates this hotel as an 4.4 star resort and it is not. I will be writing to corporate to see what can be done. I arranged this trip for my significant others birthday. This was an epic failure. I can’t express enough how disappointed I am for booking this trip based off of the recommendations I received from your website. I will never book through this site again if Orbitz does not make this rite. Extremely disappointed, unsatisfied, frustrated, and heartbroken

Would have been excellent if we had running water. The water was a hit and miss. Best to bathe as soon as it is turned back on or no bath for you that day. Housekeeping wasnt pleasant ask for towels or trash bags good luck. We received gym towels or cleaning rags to bathe with. Bring wipes with you for cleanliness. Scenery was beautiful!!!

My stay was great, good food lovely staff and amenities, however the private pool we book in our suit was dirty and had a mud like coating to the bottom of the pool. I made three request to have it cleaned but no staff came. Another request was a honeymoon package we booked and didnt receive it. After several attempts to query with front desk we gave up all attempts of asking.

The Crane is an amazing property! The grounds are lush with trees, plants, and flowers. The accommodations are stunning, I felt like I was in my own home rather than a hotel. The employees are warm, friendly and polite- much appreciated. Crane beach itself is gorgeous and the swimming pools are top notch. Food and drinks are excellent. Please do not hesitate to book a trip here, it’s a stunner of a place on many different levels! I stayed at the end of September and it was not busy which for me added to the peace and relaxation of being there. They say “ you’ll know” when you stay there, it’s true - you will.
100% recommend! Thank you for an awesome, beautiful, comfortable, relaxing stay. See you again!!

PROS: The room was great with a rooftop pool. Old world charm prevails even in the more modern aesthetic suites. The service was highlighted by Ms. Donna at the front who is great at her job, asking the right questions to direct various service inquiries and laughing with me at my attempt to have cou cou delivered to the resort. The room attendant Nadia not only did a great job cleaning our room, she provided valuable and much needed 'island tips and advice' when asked. Her service and friendliness went above and beyond what was required of her, she should be commended. CONS: The elevator in the 3000 building was not working and no help moving our luggage up and down to the top floor, this was not good. AC was dripping on desk where work laptop was - insurance claim was averted but could have been prevented entirely. Disappointing beach for that level of property which was otherwise well maintained. Food options and food pricing need to be modified for current traveler market and better uptake of daily onsite food offerings relevant to proximity to main town or other food alternatives since infrastructure provides equipped kitchens. OVERALL: We were there to attend a wedding which beautiful and enhanced by seaside ambiance and natural grounds beauty

The Crane was beautiful and I would've loved to have given it 5 stars but for the 3 nights we were there, we took ice cold showers for 2 nights. We reported it and the next day we got a message that the engineering team had fixed it but it was just as cold as before. It was never fixed. I've stayed in less nicer hotels and I've always taken hot showers. Disappointed!

Nice quiet resort away from the party side of Barbados like 30 mins away. But a nice resort clean everyone was very helpful rooms nice and spacious.My room had a private pool clean also nice full kitchen washer and dryer in my room. Breakfast was good lunch and dinner need more opinions on menu also it need to be included in resort price. Also the pool side bar very nice. I would come here again and Barbados was a dream. We checked in and there was no air conditioning in our room so after three hours in the room, we have to move to a different room which was in a different building and then we have to go in a different building away from our kids cause they stayed in the same building, so it was not a very good experience. They couldn’t accommodate us the way it supposed to they knew there was no air-conditioning in that room because they have a portable air conditioner running in the room

This is my favorite place to stay when im in Barbados, the property is top tier! The grounds are well manicured and everyone from reception to housekeeping is extremely friendly. Its not an all inclusive, but food is not too expensive on the property! There not much around but everything you need is available on the property! Just book, you wont regret it!

Beautiful grounds but service and stay was ok

Sadly they had numerous issues during my stay from the AC unit being broken on the first night and a long delay in a technician coming to fix it resulting in a sleepless night due to overheating to the room not being cleaned to the overflowing of jacuzzi in the garden area. While the property itself is absolutely gorgeous, these three top issues made our stay unpleasant.

I had mixed feelings about this hotel. The property itself is nice, but there are a few areas where it could definitely improve. For example, my room was very spacious, but it only had a tiny TV and lacked a full-length mirror—something that would be expected in a hotel of this level. The breakfast was overpriced for what was offered, and the beach area seemed neglected. I understand it takes effort to maintain, but I’ve seen other hotels manage daily upkeep, which makes a big difference in the guest experience. Overall, not a bad stay, but it didn’t quite meet expectations.
