The only reason for one star off was because our room was on the ground floor and was used as storage for parties as well as gardening tools. The gardening staff frequently walked onto the lawn that was a part of our room.

The residence we were allocated should not have been let in its current state - the smell in the main bedroom was so bad we could not sleep in it and no alternative was available. Walls were marked from the dampness, paint chipped off in a number of places, furniture stained, curtains in poor condition - staff could not be faulted they did all they could but that lost first night and morning could not be replaced - i.e. lost. Not what one expects when booking 5 star luxury accommodation. Would not recommend it based on my experience.

This resort was top notch. The service was impeccable in every area, from the front desk to room service to pool attendants to the gardeners. The beach and pool amenities were exactly what you would want for a day at the beach. So beautiful! The rooms were clean and bright with fantastic amenities. The food was delicious. We ate at two of the restaurants as well as the Hyatt Club and room service. We will be back.

Hotel facilities were good and restaurants served good quality food, esp the Vietnamese one. Room was spacious and modern. Light controls were one of the most intuitive I have seen in hotels.
However, housekeeping was lacking. For 2 days, no housekeeping was provided until we called guest services to action on it.

Magnificent. The cat food bowls and the Regency cats near our room very especially cute. The restaurant choices were just to our liking. The beach was superb too, but unfortunately the waves were too small for body surfing. Front desk service was excellent.

Perfect for kids between 3-10. There is an endless list of things to do for kids and the whole property is kept immaculately. We loved our stay. The only thing is that the hardware of the hotel room and hotel building that we stayed at are pretty old. Fridge is old and not cold, plugs don’t work, lock is semi broken. I think a bit of small upgrade would be very helpful. But the overall resort is really well managed and the private beach is one of the best in Asia.

Gorgeous But Needs Deep Cleaning and Maintenance

Pros: The resort provides great service with fantastic dining options, and plenty of activities for families. Staff were friendly and attentive, and overall the property has great potential for a luxurious beachside escape.

Cons: Our stay was seriously marred by hygiene and maintenance issues. I woke up with multiple bed bug bites all over my legs — painful and incredibly distressing. Although we only reported it after our stay, the incident suggests poor room upkeep, possibly due to high occupancy and rushed cleaning routines.

On top of that, the kids’ pool had broken tiles that remained unrepaired — dangerous and unacceptable, especially around children. The resort clearly needs to prioritize proper maintenance and cleanliness, or it risks ruining what could otherwise be a 5-star experience

This has always been a go to resort for me when visiting Danang. The resort is beautiful, clean and the service is great. You get access to your own private beach which has beautiful sunrise and sunset views. We stayed in the executive suite that was very spacious and loved waking up to the sunrise every morning. The food was also amazing which is hard to find when you're staying in a resort. Will be back as always.

Loved our stay here! We got a complimentary upgrade to a sea view residence and the room was massive. Room was clean and we had pretty much everything we could need in the apartment.
Their buggy pick-up times were a little slow so depending on where you're located, you might have to walk if you're going to the restaurant next to the lobby.

Disappointed and Unsafe Experience – Not What We Paid For

We booked and fully paid for a 3-bedroom beachfront villa at the Hyatt. However, upon arrival, the front desk informed us that due to a “system error,” our villa was unavailable and they could only offer us a garden view villa instead. After insisting on what we had paid for, the staff asked us to “help them out” by agreeing to stay in the garden villa for 2 nights and then move to another. I had just arrived after a long international flight and was feeling very sick, so I reluctantly agreed.

Shockingly, just a few hours after checking in, a metal frame from the second floor came loose and fell directly onto my niece’s chair, narrowly missing her head. We reported this dangerous incident immediately, and the hotel moved us to another garden villa. They assured us that we would be refunded the price difference between the beachfront and garden villas—over $1,000.

During our stay, we saw another family staying in the beachfront villa we had originally booked, which was upsetting. Before checking out, I asked again about the refund, and the staff claimed they had already handled it through Expedia (since we had booked through them). I trusted that was true.

After waiting the 3 days as instructed, I contacted Expedia and found out Hyatt had never reached out to them at all. Eventually, Expedia processed a partial refund of only $260, far less than the actual difference.

Unfortunately, our stay at the property did not meet our expectations. The hotel felt overwhelmingly large and lacked warmth—it had more of a concrete, industrial feel than a welcoming atmosphere.

The staff seemed preoccupied, likely due to a large business event taking place, which made the service feel impersonal. Our suite was disappointing, with a surprisingly small bed and dated furnishings. While the sea view was lovely, it didn’t quite make up for the overall experience in the room.

Breakfast at the Regency Club was very limited, and we were surprised to learn that using the main breakfast area required an additional charge, even for suite guests.

On a more positive note, the kids club was excellent and definitely a highlight for families. However, the on-site farm was underwhelming, with only two animals, which was a letdown for the little ones.

Overall, the hotel is very large and lacks a personal touch. The rooms could really benefit from an update to improve the guest experience.

Great location, wonderful beach access, amazing customer service. A few details that should be taken care of in the hotel room: 1) The AC unit was too noisy. The compressor should be changed or repaired. The thermostat needs to be calibrated. 2) The L-shaped sofa had dirty stains. 3) The wall decoration needed some touch-ups. 4) The room should have a small desk to put laptop on. 5) Wall receptacles did not fit well to my computer and cell phone adapters.

Place was beautiful. Lisa at the front desk made our stay amazing. They were hosting a triathlon and our room was right in the middle of it all, not at all relaxing. Lisa moved us to a quiet location and we couldn’t have been happier. Even with the event going we didn’t feel the crowd at all. Staff was friendly and super helpful. The beach was beautiful.

Top notch for families with kids. Facilities were amazing. Tons of programs for kids and the activities were well maintained and watched over by staff.

The residence rooms are dated with no streaming TVs and pretty much unwatchable. You hear the upstairs neighbors everytime they move a chair. Which is annoying. Easily fixed with some felt on the legs.

I may opt for a different room if given the chance but the resort was so beautifully maintained and staff over the top kind. Oh- western prices on everything. Dont expect a deal on food or drinks.

We’d stayed here before and enjoyed it. This time the weather was overcast so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy much of the reason to come here (pools and ocean). We were offered an upgrade- I think a lavish wedding led to overbooking- and we should have declined it. The residences are very large and on the outskirts of the property. Feels a bit separate from the resort and is noisier at night with a lower quality of amenities and fixtures. The villas and smaller rooms are a better bet for sure. That said, the staff is always accommodating and pleasant, it’s easy to get around to Hoi An and downtown, and, when the weather is good, it’s great to be outside there. All in all made the best of it. Still a lovely resort, just stick to the main property rooms unless you need two massive bedrooms and a living room.

Fabulous 8 night stay

Efficient check in, welcoming and extremely helpful front desk staff, very clean, comfortable and spacious room. Housekeeping staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating as were the beach and pool staff and the restaurant service people. The hotel is situated on an absolutely beautiful stretch of white sand beach. Between the many pool areas and the beach, there was never an issue finding a place to sit. Although the resort is located away from more central touristy areas, Grab was a very easy and inexpensive way to travel to those areas and/ or restaurants when we wanted to do so. There is a great supermarket within walking distance (approximately 1 kilometre).

The resort property was outstanding. We booked a club king ocean view and were upgraded to a one bedroom condo nearest the sea. It couldn’t have been more perfect. We had breakfast at a different restaurant each day and it was the most spectacular breakfast in terms of variety and quality. There were always chairs available by the pools or the sea. The fitness centre had its own pool with lane, as did the Regency Club. The spa was gorgeous and they gave me tea to start and end. The treatment rooms all had a private change room/shower/bathroom. The Regency Club had a great happy hour, plus we could use it all day for drinks and snacks. By far my favourite resort.

This was my last stay at a Hyatt property.

Check in was a terrible process. We were told we were \"upgraded\" to a residence suite which we did not ask for. When we informed them we wanted to stay in the resort with Oceanview as we booked we were informed that the room was not available (even though we came in the evening). The resident room required a shuttle to get to and from the resort, was outdated and smelled like cigarette smoke concealed by perfume.

We were then moved back to the resort to a room that wasn't Oceanview as we had booked. This whole debacle took hours.

We were then told they could give us a better room the next day but by that time we were unpacked and didn't want to deal with the hassle of going to a third room.

All we got was meaningless apologies. No one ever offered to even refund us the difference between what we paid for and what we were offered. The burden then fell on us to re-pack and move from room to room as it suited them.

As I checked out they actually had the nerve to ask if I would like to become a Hyatt member...

The complex is amazing, 3 or 4 different restaurants, massive swimming pool (and a separate adults only pool) lovely big gym, the rooms are amazing and so spacious with a lovely big balcony, the staff can't do enough for you...the whole place is just awesome. don't be in any doubt that you should book this place (room with pool view I would recommend)

The food and drinks were also lovely. The staff very friendly and a great service.

The hotel is nice enough but not at the price point.
Staff are very friendly and generally trying, but I sense training is somewhat lacking. That said, I’d give a positive shout out to the Terrasse Bar staff.
Room was clean and good size (an “upgrade”) but in a poor state of repair. Had to have several issues fixed on first day … and lived with several others for the duration of stay.
The standard of refreshments and toiletries within the room was low.
Restaurants were reasonable excepting breakfast, which was very average … And badly managed (had to complain near every day).
“Water Sport” area a joke, with a couple of beaten up kayaks and some boogie boards. The jellyfish warning sign didn’t help the image.
Lots of children but no proper Adults Only areas.
Laundry hanging outside most rooms does not help the image.
Landscaping and outside areas in general are very well maintained.
Overall a bit too “family friendly” for my taste and overly biased towards a particular nation group … so not best choice for someone travelling by themselves (read lonely in a crowd).

Amazing sea view from our Two Bedroom Suite located at B701. Despite this resort being old, the surroundings are well maintained. But the rooms are significantly old with the pale wooden door and wooden furnitures,
Two of us (out of 3) got badly bitten by Bed Bugs. Think it’s time they do a serious upgrade of their rooms and not just painting patches of paint over old ceilings etc.

Breakfast spread was good, but food quality can be better. We tried breakfast at Osteria and the Ocean restaurant. Vietnamese options were better than the international spread.

Swimming pool can be cleaner.

Evening activities like shows and live music can be added. The whole resort looks quite dead after sunset.
