Staff were great, but the hotel is run down and in need of renovations everywhere. Location is isolated with nothing to see outside the gates. A taxi is required to get to anywhere.
Overall I would not recommend, go to one of the bigger hotels near the town center.

The room and the view were both spectacular. The room/suit was spacious and the balcony with seats and table perfectly positioned.
The resort needs decorating and the pool furniture needs replacing. However the staff were wonderful and couldn’t do enough. The exception were housekeeping who didn’t restock the fridge and prepped the room very late in the day when we wanted to rest.
Overall we highly recommend the Sandy Beach Resort.

Stay here was just average. Hidden fees everywhere and service is slow (it was difficult to get lunch, seemed like the hotel was understaffed). Breakfast was good. Recommend this hotel if you need somewhere to sleep, not if you’re trying to stay and enjoy a resort.

The hotel is good, really great beach. Hotel staff very helpful and extremely polite. We lived in room number 2001 on the second floor. Wonderful sea view. The only drawback is that there is one tree among the palm trees that is exceptionally tall and therefore somewhat obscures the view. This tall tree should be trimmed slightly by the gardener. The longest branches should be shortened. Tourists pay extra for a room with a sea view, so the view should be unobstructed. It would also be a good idea to properly develop the green areas at the entrance to the resort. This area is growing wild and there could be, for example, paths for walking among the trees [they would provide some cooling during heat waves]] decorated with stylish lanterns.
We had a lovely holiday at the Sandy Beach Resort.

Private beach access and two giant pools, with a spacious room and garden area. The only issue was the bathroom had a glass wall into the bedroom, and although a screen came down for the toilet and bathtub, the door was exposed. The only place I’ve ever stayed that had two toilets.

This was my first time to stay at Sandy Beach resort and it was a very pleasant stay.
It is one of the oldest resorts near Da Nang and i will return to stay there again when i next visit this area. I have been visiting Da Nang every year for the past 16 winters except for the Covid year of 2021.

The staff at this resort were absolutely amazing. The rooms themselves have been Renovated and are very nice. The exterior however is very dated and needs significant maintenance work. The roof and gutters leak very badly.

Felt very isolated and not overly welcome. All of the advertising for the resort has two restaurants however only 1 open for lunch and dinner, the other for breakfast only. Food choices limited, resort was fairly well deserted and felt a bit weird. Great if you want an isolation style experience, not really our thing.

Loved the architecture!! Especially at the reception, bar, restaurant. Service was excellent, friendly and quick. Beach was beautiful. Property is quiet. TV had a lot of English channels as well as some Korean, Japanese, French and German channels. I would come back to Vietnam just to stay at Sandy Beach Non Nuoc Resort. Knowing what I know now, I would stay at this resort and take day trips to Hue and Hoi An.

The staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone here (from the reception desk to dining service) went above and beyond to meet your needs! They helped us book tours and catered to our every need. The drivers on all three of our tours were extremely helpful and honest. We loved that they recommended popular attractions to fit into our schedule. The hotel even reimbursed us on the total cost because they received a discount on our bookings so they passed it on to us.

The only thing I thought needed was the rooms. They could use some updating as the buildings and interiors are a bit old and tend to look like outdated apartments rather than hotel rooms.

Overall the stay is very pleasant. Staff are very helpful attentive to you, helping with your luggages and requests..

The resort is not the new modern place. Some things definitely can be better like the rainshower pressure is not strong, so not much use, some items are quite old and has stains to it.

The beach is peaceful and quiet if you are looking for hideout place from the crowd or city.

Breakfast buffet spread was ok but bit boring as the spread is the same every day.

Information on the website on airport pick up and what the staff told me was different. Also on late check out, as what i was shared during my check in i may stay in till 3pm if there is no other booming of the room, but i asked the staff again a day prior to my check out she (Superior, Yen) told me i can only stay till latest 1pm. She seems to have a little attitude problem as she isnt as smiley and i caught her rolling her eyes at another guest. Dang, on the other hand was very helpful! He ensure the postcards i passed him the day before is handle with care and is sent out timely. As he assists me during my check out, he explained the details thoroughly and the process is smooth!

Toothbrush wasn't provided on first day till requesyed. Complimentary water was not replaced on second day till requested. Reception staff Ms Duong was smiley and helpful. Room was reasonably clean, but noise from fridge and aircond ruined the sleep.

Order In-room dinner at The World counter on the first day. Staff called probably the chef to change spaghetti bolognaise to chicken. Looking angry in the call. Unfriendly. The food was awesome. Had lunch at The World again upon checkout. Ordered 3 main dishes. Only 1 came and the other 2 still didn't come after 45mins. Unsatisfied customer. Not coming back here.

Only down side is if you want restaurants or bars there is only the hotels otherwise you have to travel to Da Nang town. Having said that the hotels food and drink prices were reasonable and not a rip off like some other hotels.

Better than expected! The grounds are beautiful and the staff are helpful and friendly. We rented motorbikes and zipped around Da Nang and took a trip to Hoi An, which is less than 30 minutes away. The gym was nice and had the equipment that we needed. We live and work in Hanoi and will stay here again on a long weekend.

We loved our stay. Neatly laid out along the beach. We stayed in beautiful spacious villa with two rooms, 2 TVs, 2 bathrooms, outdoor shower as well. Tea kettle with free teas and coffees, also an automatic coffee maker. Lots of complimentary drinking water. Daily housekeeping. Not mopping floors though. That was a bit unpleasant at first. But then we figured out to wear slippers. Plenty of bathroom amenities. No iron or ironing board. But ok. Breakfast was plentiful even for my Keto lifestyle. Food at the restaurants was really delicious. We tried various dishes. Room service menu was decent and quality is good. Had a very good Spa experience. Beach was clean. Lifeguard always on duty. And he was always watching and kicking people out of the water during high waves/stormy weather. Good tour reservation with a decent variety of tours. We had a lovely English speaking guide who took us everywhere and bargained the best deals for us too.
Overall the resort looked a bit old, but it’s well maintained. All our requests were met with utmost effort and efficiency. We really enjoyed!

The Hotel is right in front of the largest Beach in Vietnam - Danang Beach.
Lot of Activities at the hotel and good ambience for a few Restaurants.
The Kids Club was great too.

Perfect Hotel for Us

Close to the beach, with 2 pools and a tennis court this was an ideal hotel for us. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was excellent but reasonably priced. We stayed for a fortnight, mixing a few days leisure, with 3-4 excursions to Hoi An, Hue, Da Nang and the Marble Mountain, which was just enough for us, before returning to the beach and pools for more relaxation.

Nice and clean hotel with good facilities. Hotel restaurants are a bit on the expansive side, at times it could be cheaper to jump taxi or Uber and have dinner somewhere in Da Nang or Hoi An. Pretty close to Marble mountains, and about half an hour drive to both Hoi An and Da Nang.

The service would have to be improved in most areas especially in Housekeeping. We had incomplete bath amenities when we arrived and had to call to get our room cleaned on the 2nd day. Front Office staff were too busy with their own tasks that they don't look up to see guests are in front of them. The only person who impressed us was Mr Ky from the beach resto/bar

We are three adults and stayed there for 2 nights. Booked a seaview bungalow and we got upgraded to seaview villa which is literally with the beach just few steps from our terrace. The room (the whole house) is spacious (about 1000 sq ft) and we were all thrilled and excited to stay there. It also comes with 2 full bathroom and one outdoor shower, direct access to large terrace from both living room and bedroom.

Hotel staffs are very nice and friendly and we were so pleased the moment we got off our car. Service is excellent, they drove us to our villa with a golf cart and also gave us some fruits. Breakfast is great with a decent selection. Great location, situated in a quiet and family friendly area right by the beach with daily shuttle bus to the city and Hoi An as well which is going to save you some bucks on getting a taxi or uber.

Didn't have the chance to go in to the sea or pool as the weather was really bad the period we were there but we did however have a look at the pools and walked on the beach the last day when the weather was better which I think it's perfect to chill and relax.

The only let down is the weather which made the room, including the floor, very wet due to the humidity.

Would definitely stay there again when I go back.

Good quiet 4 star resort on the beach

This quiet spacious resort next to the beach is very comfortable with 2 nice pools and beach views from some rooms. It's good for mature travellers as there are lifts,ramps and walk in showers and the pools are accessible ! Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast had variety each day.its at the far end of the beach strip so if you are looking for nightlife you will need to taxi it to where the bars and restaurants are. Resort prices included tax and VAT, what you see is what you pay.

A good one week stay.

We booked the Sea View Room, it come with living room and 2 toilet, and a wonderful sea and beach view. The location is very near marble mountain if you are going there. The room is clean and the surrounding cozy. This resort is not in Da Nang, but they have scheduled shuttle to bring you to Da Nang town and Hoi An. I use grab for getting Taxi, and it seems to be cheaper than Taxi running meters. Overall it is a good place to have cozy resort.

2 observations for improvement.
- The tour desk is always closed

bungalow right on the beach

Despite the language barrier we managed to get everything sorted, check out was initially confusing. We however did not get a welcoming drink, although we noted that others did. We stayed in two rooms, deluxe ocean view was lovely but so was the beachfront bungalow. Breakfast was extensive but sadly no pancakes, sometimes it was a bit hit and miss with the eggs, as you have to point to the picture, language difficulties. Bonus was the coffee machine which allowed you to make cappuccino (minus the chocolate topping). Restaurants are ok but certainly dearer than eating in town. The chicken was undercooked as was the hamburger one night but no offer to replace, refund or apologise. Shame really as the first time we ate at the poolside bar it was ok. Free pool table is a bonus. The room was adequate and comfortable, airconditioner worked really well. Needed a few minor repairs which were dealt with quickly. They do not replace the toiletries every day though, if need extra you need to ring and ask. Fridge is a really tiny one, I rang and asked for a bucket of ice on the first night, was charged for this, not a fortune but would think it could have been complimentary. Free shuttle service to Da Nang and Hoi An is a bonus and allows you to only have to pay taxi one way as it is a reasonable distance from either town. Grounds are lovely. Did not use the fitness centre. Spa is nice but overpriced.

Most staffs were not kind and nice

1. A lack of staff's communication
I think that the front desk lacks two-way communication with reservation part!
I emailed reservation part in advance and asked late checking out.
And they said yes!
But when I checked in at the front desk, they told me that I couldn't check out on 6pm because of full book.
So I showed email to them, I could check out late.

2. not kind staff
Pool Bar staff looked so angry when I ordered. She never smiled during my staying.
Break Fast Restaurant had no any staff to order what I need.
