👎 Pool side Jacuzzi is a joke, barely fit in four people and the water is lukewarm.

My family were advised to reserve a grilled seafood buffet at time of checking in. The seafood variety selection is below average. No lobster or good quality crab. I accidentally tipped the wine glass over, the waitress refused to refill the white wine even though one of our beverages was water.

It’s definitely overrated on the website, disappointed!

Everything was great. Breakfast buffet could be improved since they were not warm for the whole time, and food refilling should be organized a little more effective because paxes had to wait for the staff to set up food.

I had issues w/ some of the service, i was at the sitini pool and i had saved a lounge chair and went to the bathroom, i even told the server to serve me in that seat. after i went to the bathroom, i come back and a couple had taken the chairs that i had saved, the server actually told me to go get another seat and I had to ask the couple to give me back the seats, which they were nice enough to do but i was frustrated that the staff knew I had those seats, and had told me to get another seat.

The rooms were nice and clean although the exterior of the apartment complex is outdated and a little run down.

Common Room however was not functional at all.
No utensils....No dishes & the couch for sitting was very uncomfortable
The Mexican Restaurant was awful....& very expensive

We enjoyed our stay at Naman and would stay again. Our ambassador, Min, made our experience comfortable and seamless. She was available via phone everyday for any questions, any thing we needed for our room, she was fantastic.
The location of Naman is not in the city centre so it cost more in grab services (their local taxi company) but it was worth it.
Beautiful place more on the luxury side, absolutely loved our private pool.

The location is absolutely stunning! The beach is like a dream and the grounds are a tropical paradise. The rooms are clean, comfortable and very well-styled.
The service at the restaurants and the housekeeping were immaculate and truly commendable.
Our only complaint was with the front desk staff. It seemed that any request we made was denied. Complimentary room upgrade as part of Expedia rewards? \"No\".
Ask the cashier for change? \"No.\"
Request a checkout 1 hour later? \"No.\"
Request a taxi service to the airport? \"No.\"
Once you have called your own taxi, hope that the front doormen will hold it for you until you make your way to the entrance? \"No.\"
Sadly, our check out experience was so chaotic that it left us with a sour taste after an otherwise excellent stay.
The front desk of this truly lets down the rest of the hotel that is actually quite excellent. If this could be improved, it would be a truly 5-star experience.

I booked a private pool villa as a treat to decompress after a very stressful year. According to the name/ website, I expected a ‘retreat’ full of relaxation. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The property seems not able to cope & more reminiscent of what you might expect at a tour bus discount hotel - crowded and chaotic. The property is beautiful but needing lots of maintenance which is to be expected in tropical climates. However for the price you pay you would expect a room (villa) to be luxurious & well maintained. I had mosquitos and many insects in my room the night I arrived. The next morning I asked for a clean up including the pool area. I arrived back to my room with soaking wet loungers and soaked towels and lots of debris in the pool. After waiting, I cleaned the pool myself. Called at 9am, and took several requests & finally at 2pm I could enjoy a poolside lounge albeit on rotting lingers. Meals on property are really over priced and just average. At breakfast they kept running out of plates & food. It was the most loud chaotic scene I have ever experienced with people pushing. The manager apologized & accepted my request for breakfast to be delivered to my room the next morning. I went for dinner and there was blaring music and disco lights. I walked out & skipped dinner as there are not any nearby restaurants in walking distance. The staff are kind, but seems like management needs to step up their game. Not recommended. Overpriced NOT a retreat.

An unforgettable experience from start to finish.

The service was truly exceptional—every detail was thoughtfully handled. The breakfast buffet felt endless, with something delicious for every taste, and the Thai massage left me feeling completely refreshed and energized.

The staff went above and beyond, especially through WhatsApp, helping us explore the local area with ease. Their support made our trip feel personal and seamless.

We also arranged a private vehicle through the resort, which was both affordable and incredibly convenient. Our driver was always ready and waiting after each activity, allowing us to enjoy every moment without feeling rushed.

This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I can’t recommend Naman Resort enough.

Best hotel I’ve stayed in in Vietnam

Myself and my partner had the best stay at Naman Retreat, Da Nang. This hotel treated us like royalty. A special thank you to Evelyn for looking after us while we stayed. We wish we could stay longer and will definitely be returning! We booked a one bedroom pool villa which included a bathtub and our own private pool. The rooms are spacious and even had a sitting room area. Housekeeping were attentive. Pool bar staff are lovely, apologies I only got one name - Tinh who was always smiling and made sure our orders were correct and triple checked my allergies for pool food. There are three pools, one looks out on to a gorgeous ocean view. Two hot tubs outside and then a third indoor in the spa area with the steam room. Breakfast was great and provided a vast buffet of everything you could want! If I had any critique it would be that the Mexican restaurant was not amazing, the food was bland and lacking flavour and the same goes for the soft drinks on their menu.

Not as nice as it looks in pictures. We got one of the rooms with the private pool and it was disappointing. Bad electrical, bad light placements, old hair dryer that is not functional, you can see water damage in places, sofa doesn't look or feel clean, noise from neighbors. And there is something off about the staff. Their behavior or perhaps the way they mingle with each other and also smirks on their faces at times, seems unprofessional. They also don't seem happy working there and not really genuine despite seemingly being nice and trying to be helpful.

We had a pleasure 2 nights staying in Naman retreat.
The spaciousness and the greenery of the resort bring a sense of peaceful and tranquility. Restaurants are beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff, warm and friendly. Helpful receptionist ever. The property itself is nice and clean with a great design.
I think the reason we didn’t enjoy it is because the area is in development and the staff isn’t trained enough for international level hospitality.

It kinda feels like you’re hanging out at a friend’s house since the staff texts you with their personal messaging app in a very casual way. But since it’s supposed to be a retreat we expected to be able to simply relax.

Regarding the staff, it doesn’t feel they received proper training and are quite junior for a resort of that scale.

The property seems to be under construction so my review may not be a good indication of how it’s going to be when it’s officially open.

Please note that the entrance is not obvious as the area that appears to be the main gate with the resort logo is closed.

Our taxi dropped us there in the middle of the night so we called the hotel and they gave instructions to the driver who dropped us in liminal space that was frankly pretty scary.

They didn’t offer for anyone to come to help us find the entrance so we walked 1km to head back.

We decided not to spend the second night. The manager was offered us an upgrade to the villa but we had already booked the next hotel so instead they offered to take care of our transportation to the next hotel.

We appreciated the gesture until we found out the driver didn’t know where we were going and did not speak English.

All in all, the place is decent but the staff isn’t up to the mark yet.

Once in the retreat this is a lovely relaxing place to spend time. The service levels are high & they go the extra mile to resolve any issues. The only issue we experienced was the restaurant options were so expensive, the food was great but didn’t warrant the cost.
Due to bad weather we had to eat in the hotel otherwise we would have eaten in Hoi An every night

Room wasn’t clean properly, they did not sweep or clean room only replace toiletries if needed and new towels . Never been to hotel or resort having to pay additional if I wanted sheets to be changed, food is terrible and service was bad, they’re expanding, noisy from huge construction site right in front of our room . They were also way understaffed, chaos daily in the lobby and for housekeeping Service as well .

Facilities and Amenities were quite good. However, the frontline staffs were terrible and left a really bad experience. They were rude, lack experience and poor knowledge. They insisted there is no discount for the SPA booked under Expedia. We gave up and went to town. Shuttle bus services to town was also closed down. Incurred lots of extra expenses call taxi, Grab cars. Overall, will never go back again.

The staff went out their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. They even upgraded us to a 3 bedroom apartment. Our weather wasn’t great, so we couldn’t make use of the beautiful pool and facilities. There is a complimentary bus to Hoi An every couple of hours. There isn’t much to do around the hotel but if weather is good all you need is that beautiful beach. Thank you Naman Retreat.

It’s a nice hotel but not as mind-blowing as it should be for the price. The room was great - very modern and clean. Like many places in Vietnam, while the staff are friendly the service needs improvement. Starters arriving ten mins before drinks...etc. English is a struggle for some staff. The food was excellent though - the seabass in particular. The spa is good but feels a little bit like a conveyor belt at times as every guest gets a “free” treatment each day. The weather while I was there was poor, raining a lot, so that might have tainted my opinion somewhat. Overall, I would have rather paid more and got proper five star service.

Beautifully designed villas and amenities. Love the inclusive daily spa package. However, impracticality in some small details. Hand shower in the bathroom is quite disappointing as water flow is only good for showering babies. Liquid dispensers for shampoo/bath/conditioner are too small as you need to pump for more than 10 times to get the right amount of liquid out.

Please read carefully Wotif’s online package offered. It’s wise to spend some time to email Naman Retreat directly to clarify. Wotif stated afternoon high tea is included but didn’t qualify is daily or per stay. That’s the catch!

I paid for one extra guest in my package. However, Naman denied the extra guest of having afternoon tea ! Their reason being -I’ve only paid for one extra bed!

stayed here for 4 nights with my wife to celebrate our honeymoon. Pre-arrival communications were great with easily booking our airport transfer to the retreat. We were kindly greeted by our ambassador Y who helped us check into our room and explained all aspects of our package.

the staff was amazing, very attentive and kind. Y was very quick to help with everything we needed from. Our daily massages were all great!

only issues we had were an employee knocking on our door early AM when our Do No Disturb sign was up — they were making the rounds to check electrical since there were power outage problems for a few minutes the night before. Upon learning about this, Y sent an apology note and a gift tray of cookies to our room.

another issue was the tile shelf in the shower fell off the wall and broke without us even using it yet on the first night. luckily neither of us were showering or us it could have hurt us or cut our feet. the staff was quick again to address by cleaning up the mess.

The Naman Retreat is simply stunning. It’s outstanding beauty and the way it encourages relaxation is pure indulgence. I highly recommend.

The staff are a little sullen, especially those working in the restaurants. They don’t seem happy most of the time. Also, they have limited capacity for diners therefore we were asked to wait for a table on 2 of our 4 days there. Not a major issue but frustrating when you’ve a 2 year old demanding cornflakes ;)

Still go though. You won’t regret it

The western restaurant there - I am less impressed; the seafood I tried wasn't as fresh as I had expected. Visited Naman 2 years ago and stayed in their 2 pax villas which are very well appointed - this played a big part in deciding to return with family again. This time we stayed in the 3 bedroom villas which were just very meh. Considering the price we are paying we did not get the luxe feels, felt very crowded with other guests. Further there was a group a few villas away singing karaoke very loudly every night till after 12am disturbing the sleep of my family though not the direct fault of the establishment they were slow to address. Will not be returning.

Really really beautiful and nice resort. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and kind during our 5 days stay. We enjoyed renting a private driver to drive us for sightseeing or checking out local spots. Our driver Peter Lam was excellent. Staff in daily breakfast buffet remembered us and greeted us with smile every day. The complementary spa and massage were just icing on the cake. Son’s Wedding

Ideal location for wedding event in Danang with about 100 guests. Nice open ground for outdoor wedding ceremony plus appropiate dining hall for the evening dinner. The 3bedrom Villas were spacious enough to hold private parties over the weekend celebrations. Overall service was excellent.

Relax and enjoy

We stayed two nights, not leaving the resort (as there is nowhere close to go) on the backend of a busy trip exploring Angkor Wat and Hoian. It was good to stop and relax at Naman before our flight home. The Da Nang beach strip is in a huge development phase and will be completely transformed in five to ten years.

Room condition was nice but kind of uncomfortable with the bathroom. Electricity gone out for 10 mins at 12:00am. The main swimming pool and other facilities are very nice.

A place to relax

We are a family of 4 and stay for one week at Naman Retreat. Everybody loved the hotel. The kids for the activities and the adults specially for the daily massages. The food is delicious. The beds are very comfortable. I wish we can comeback and bring some friends to stay in one of the big houses.

Good resort except for location, a bit far to city center. Many activities for kids and adults, staff are very helpful as we have a little problem on spa appt after checking out.

One of the best cost performance hotel

Overall excellent experiences
Positive- high cost performance (room charge including free breakfast and spa everyday), excellent facilities and kind staffs, good locations to Hoi an and Danang central, free “hotel” shuttle to Hoi an
Improvement areas - professional Enlgish skills (staffs are kind and willing to help, but they couldn’t provide sufficient info for the issues), shuttle for Danang is NOT hotel shuttle taking loooong time to get there -staff didn’t tell us in advance, staff professionalism (housekeeping staff opened the door without notice!! Poolside staffs making noises and playing themselves...)
Overall room is clean but not perfect- bathroom rubber mat is dirty with fungus, decoration item hung on the wall of beds is not clean... it is with spider web and dust etc... my baby tried to touch that !!! Spa place was cold and it’s not so luxurious setting (understandable as it is kinda free...!)
Overall enjoyed the stays of 4 nights with my family. Korean staff was helpful! Thanks!
