Pool has tiles missing
Meal in beach club ridiculous- ordered pasta with garlic bread, bread never came and on questioning they said chef doesn’t do it anymore??? It was on the menu and not a cheap meal
Breakfast in restaurant- you have to wait to be seated as very busy - not vey 5 star
On check out they offered to take the cost of garlic bread off (probably about £1) - clearly that is a poor response to legitimate issues raised and reinforcing the point about not being 5 star

Rooms are fabulous for the area. Beds are wonderful, showers are great, pool is almost the size of the Ocean!! But it’s COLD COLD. Food is very subpar. The only great place to eat anywhere close is EL GAUCHO!

The room was good but everything else was average. Housekeeping was average at best, they seemed to make the bed and not touch anything else, crumbs left on floors and benches, rubbish not emptied. Whilst one or two staff were friendly, most seemed bored and not interested in being there. For a resort of this standard it was disappointing and would not stay again.

Beautify property! You are far from the city center, but it is quiet and you have the beach essentially to yourself. Restaurants were great and buffet was wonderful too. Only complaint was limited AC in lobby and elevators.

The hotel, the pool, the kids room are all good. The staff could use some improvement, specially the pool staff. The food at the pool takes ages. E.g. coconut water took 1 hour to reach our table. And there are hardly any vegetarian options in the menu

Very clean and well maintained hotel. Food was surprisingly good for a resort such that we stayed and dined in for dinner every night we were there.

Breakfast was delicious and the staff very attentive.

It is a small resort, so less facilities than a larger resort, but we were content with the facilities. Would be nice if there were more activities for children and if the kids club opened past 6pm.

We will be back!

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon! They made us feel very special and our trip was very memorable. The breakfast buffet was amazing, varied and the flavours were great! We ate at 2 of the restaurants (The Grill & La Plage) both were fantastic!
Plenty of family friendly activities and areas which was lovely to see.

Old school resort bit far from the city

This is a very old school resort with basic amenities for the price you pay.
The bathroom had stains and the corridor was damp. Wallpapers were coming off in some places.
Located on the ocean, it’s great if you want a private beach to swim, but you are cut off from the city.
Rooms are good sized and staff are generally good. The infinity pool is grand and they also provide kayaks.

Our stay was 10/10! The property was incredible, we had a garden suite that was perfect and the bed the most comfortable ive ever slept in. The pool and grounds are just incredible and the buffet breakfast has to be seen to be believed. The staff were the best part, so accommodating and warm and so great with my children. This is an amazing property, we added on 3 nights to our stay on the coast and so happy we chose the Sheraton. It was quiet and relaxing, the staff were friendly and professional, very attentive to our needs. The food we had at the beachside restaurant was delicious and the pool was a show stopper. We were sad to leave but was the perfect way to end our time in Vietnam.

We stayed at the resort from the 23rd to the 26th of October - and it has been the single greatest hotel experience we’ve ever had.

My wife and I are from Australia, we have travelled to many destinations around the world over the past 10 years - and had many great hotel experiences, however nothing comes even remotely close to the one here at the Sheraton Grand.

The facility was breath taking - though the staff deserve all the accolades and credit.
From the welcome in the lobby, to the expert conversation on specialty coffees in the breakfast hall - there was never a dull moment.

I’d name the staff one by one, but after a while i stopped taking names due to the fact that everyone was truly giving us a “5-star” experience.

I could spend all day walking you through how Amazing everything was - but I simply don’t have enough time to cover everything.

Do not think twice - this is THE BEST place to stay in all of South East Asia.
I challenge you to prove me wrong!

The area is next to a massive desert land . 20 mins drive to Da nang City centre or to Hoi An city centre.
We paid too much taxi fare every time we traveled to either cities.
There is almost nothing in walking distance from the hotel.

The pool was nice، could be more convenient if there was toilets near the pool as well.

I wanted to use the beach area but there’s no umbrella nor lounge chairs on the beach, the chairs that were there aren’t really for lounging and there’s no covered shade.
For a beach front property, this is unacceptable.
The pool is very nice and large but overall the property doesn’t offer enough option what beach seekers.
There are plenty of taxi or Grab but the property is in an area where there are no attractions nor market nearby. Food offered at the hotel is decent but nothing to brag about. The only pro is that the property is about 15-20 minutes taxi ride to Hoi An where there are lots of attractions and dining venues.

The food was slightly more expensive than eating out. The kids water area did not have water on our first 2 days and we didn’t know how to turn the water on. I booked a King room with pool view/ocean view. It was a beauty. You will enjoy and see the best of both views. Breakfast was good. But wish it would have at least 1 Da Nang known dish such as Mi Quang. One of the manager there Thu Le was wonderful. During breakfast, She greets all guests at each table and have a chat to make sure everything is good. Nhan at La Page Restaurant was extremely great and we’re giving us the best experience while we dine there. He was an exceptional and gave us the best service. By the way, the foods at LaPage Restaurant has best seafood platter and all other dishes. Must eat here!!!! Don’t waste your money to eat outside. Last but not least, all staff at Sheraton Grand were all giving great service and great hospitality. The hotel located just about 5-6 miles away from the main city.

Great family beach holiday hotel

We booked a family trip to Danang and chose Sheraton for its kids pool play area and infinity pool - both lived up to expectations, even if it does get a bit hot on sunny mornings as the resort gets the full brunt of the morning sun and there's not much cover around the pool. Staff are generally friendly - some stand outs were Ms Huong at the buffet breakfast who recommended F&B choices and remembered our family and stopped to talk, even when they were extremely busy; also the pool guard Mr Huong who helped set up our poolside dinner even though it was last order. Hotel food is pricey as expected (especially compared to outside options, but these are about 1/2 hour car ride away) but the quality is good - more Vietnamese/local choices would be appreciated rather than just Western style food.

My partner & I had a really good and comfortable stay here, the beach was the star, so clean and pristine! The only bad part of our stay is that there was a company event on one of the nights we were there. Set up a stage and blasted extremely loud music, so that was really unpleasant. Hotel gave a paper slipped under our door as a last minute notice. Not much around the hotel as well, it’s a 20-30 minute ride every time you want to head out for food. That said, we will return again still 😊

My girlfriends and I decided to start our spring break at a resort to decompress from a very stressful 3rd quarter at our jobs, and we couldn't have made a better choice.
The Sheraton Grand, despite not having many guests at the time, made us feel so welcome and appreciated. The grounds and facilities were in peak condition and the pool was absolutely wonderful. The food at La Plage restaurant was delicious (we ate dinner there both nights instead of going into Da Nang!) and the rooms were gorgeous, clean, and very comfortable.
The double beds in the 2-bed rooms were VERY appreciated. I'm tall and wide and having a double bed to sleep in instead of a twin made my stay that much more comfortable. The linens were so plush. I especially appreciated the full size towels at the pool!
Speaking of the pool, as a water baby I could not have loved it any more. The resort had some pool floaties that me and the girls did funny photoshoots with and floated around on, and the infinity edge made for some gorgeous pictures.
I live in Vietnam and will definitely be staying here again, probably a few times!

Sheraton Grand is everything you would expect from a hotel operated by the Marriott Group, and more! From the immaculate hotel grounds and amenities, the longest and most beautiful infinity pool in Da Nang, to some of the best and most attentive services, top notch food and beautiful, comfortable rooms. We stayed here for about 3 weeks, and would stay here again if we come back to Da Nang in the future.

big long pool was great, Kids club, Kids playground and water park for kids were great! The long layout of the entire hotel made it tedious to walk all the way to the lobby...
restaurants were good quality and the service was courteous. Location of property is a bit inconvenient since its in the between daNang and HoiAn but nothing good in the intermediate area. Wish they had free shuttles. Wish the pool was heated. The room was adequate but the shower water tempurature can be erratic and get hot or cold all of the sudden. Overall we are happy with the location. I feel it should be cheaper based on the location and for what you can get with the competition.

I like the Swimming pool and with a lot of facility available for kids. Hotel is very nice that they have prepared amenities and a cake for our anniversary celebration.

But the breakfast restaurant is a bit crowded and staff service is not adequate there. We ordered a coffee a few times but the staff they still forgot to order for us. We ended up walk to coffee station and order it by myself. Also, they were not able to clean the table and take the dirty away as it keeps on the table most of the time.

Also, there was no hot water supply by noon 1pm in the room. So I ended up had a cold shower after swimming.

It was our first trip to Da Nang and from the moment we arrived we received VIP service. Everyone that works here were exceptional, helpful and very courteous. The facility is very new and five stars.

The room have a great view and have the biggest TV screen I’ve ever seen in any hotel.

The pool area is a fantastic place to relax. The breakfast is a must lots of option and variety for everyone from authentic Vietnamese food to Western food.

Nice facility architecture and layout, including pools and outdoor areas. Overall not horrible but a few negatives such as poor working A/C, undesirable service with some restaurants, and very disappointing spa/massage would definitely make us consider looking at competitor resorts if staying in Da Nang again or recommending to friends / family / colleagues.
