We stayed in Platine hotel for 3nights from last Friday up to today. The hotel are clean and staffs are very helpful. It also situated very near the attractions. We walked 20'-30mins from hotel to Eiffel tower on our first night, safety is great as we walked with other people. Staffs day and night are always ready to help and assist us. My sister and I are very pleased that i booked this hotel. Accessibility is the main priority when touring. I highly recommend this hotel. 👍👍👍

We wanted something that was close to the tower, it was either a beautiful walk by the river, or a walk through the city from there. The room was quiet at night! There is a mall right across the street, and many restaurant options.

Tiny, tiny rooms. Elevator wasn’t working both days I was there and I had to carry my suitcase down seven flights of stairs. Staff was rude. Telephone in room wasn’t working. Honestly the worst place I’ve stayed in for the price.
There are also no corridors to speak of - two people can’t squeeze past each other! Just four rooms crowded around an elevator.
Rooms are dark, black walls and pictures of Marilyn Monroe emblazoned everywhere. Effort to be chic but just comes across as cheap.
The shower was excellent.

The hotel is clean and all the staff are so freindly! It is affordable and very convenient. I recommend this place to a couple who would explore Paris within their budget. The room is small but comfortable.

The only small thing I did not like is the pool table. It was not functional and there was only 1 cue stick. I wish it will be replaced and will have 2 cue sticks when I come back to stay at Platine hotel!

Love this quite stylish hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and offered advice on local dining and activities. The room was very clean and so very stylish. This hotel is a gem that I almost want to keep quiet for myself but can’t because I think the world should know that not everyone needs a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower because Paris is so much more and this hotel offers the style, cuisine, and location you are looking for in a boutique hotel. PS. I really love the black tiles and mood lighting in the bathroom.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. 0ur room was very clean. It was compact but fairly typical for a hotel room in a large European city like Paris. The hotel is on a quiet side street, located only a 2 minute walk away from a Monoprix grocery store and a shopping mall. The nearest Metro station is just a 5 minute walk from the hotel and you can get anywhere conveniently in Paris taking the Metro. I would be happy to stay at the Platine hotel again on our next visit to Paris!

Special occasion trip nightmare

Hotel staff was great especially front desk and breakfast facilities staff. Very disappointed with the elevator issue. I had booked 2 rooms and had special request for wheelchair accessible. The 2 nd day elevator started having problems. I was supposed to be fixed that night and then broke again the next day. It was a struggle to get the person who required assist of wheelchair to get down 6 floors.we had to switch hotel the next for that reason.l as it became very challenging.
I do want to give credit to the front staff who carried our 2 bags all the way down from the 6 th floor.

Hotel was charming and in a great area. Close to shops, restos, boulangeries, a mall/gallerie and especially the Eiffel Tower. Was a bit hesitant at first but the staff was very helpful and accommodating, even upgraded me when the refrigerator in my room wasn't working. Great Staff Overall.

Location was great as it's near Seine River docking for Viking and Amawater ways long ships. Very Quiet area and yet only A few streets away from restaurants and shopping.

Loved the family room so I could have my own space apart from the kids, and the bonus of a door outside of our doors that faced each other for extra security and privacy. Very clean, no problems at all. The staff was great, friendly and very accommodating. The big bonus was obviously all of the Marilyn Monroe decor and paraphernalia. It’s located around the corner from lots of food and a huge mall, you can walk about a block and see the Eiffel Tower which is about a 10-minute bike ride or Metro ride away (you have to switch trains once), and the Metro stop is also about a block away. We had a great time, and were almost sad to leave! I would highly recommend!

Great spot and brilliant with kids!

The staff were friendly, the rooms beautiful and clean. Our boys loved the games room. Great location too.
20 minutes or so from Eiffel Tower, 5 minutes to the river and from there, you can see the tower anyway. Lots of shops and cafes all around, that served all day. Can recommend cafe Lutetia.
Would stay again, definitely.
Do the river cruise too!

A nice small hotel . Rooms were small which we expected. I was disappointed that both rooms weren't ready when we arrived. Also would have loved to know that there is only 1 channel on tv in English. Their channel played an old movie on repeat. There is a nice mall and shopping within 1 block but note everything doesn't open until 9 or 10 am and closed at 9 pm . We never got to enjoy these shops.

we fell in love with this Hotel and would stay again if we ever return to Paris. The staff was fantastic and totally committed to providing excellent customer service. The manager (Katarzyna) and all desk receptionists, especially Elizabeth, were helpful and dedicated to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. This hotel is scrupulously clean and the morning breakfasts were spectacular --eggs, sausage, pancakes, potato patties, cheese, fruit, various pastries, cereals, etc. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary during our stay and the staff went for far as to scatter rose pedals on our bed in celebration of our anniversary. Additionally, the location of this hotel is within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, several restaurants, and a convenient grocery store.

Platine Hotel gets a thumbs up!

This was our first trip to Paris. We were celebrating my daughter’s college graduation from college. The Platine Hotel was extremely clean and in a great location. We were super close to public transportation, shopping, cafes and Eiffel Tower. Elisabeth checked us in early and was very helpful with directions. The room was very small but we were only there to rest, shower and sleep.

Wonderful French boutique hotel dedicated to 50's and 60's U.S film stars makes this a unique place to stay.
Very friendly staff, lovely room comfy bed and an excellent shower. Typical French breakfast, I have so missed French breakfast and French coffee these last two years.

Hotel was all we could have asked for. Rooms were actually a bit spacious considering the Paris 'norm' and made good use of the space. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Very cheeky and unique design elements with old-school Hollywood flair. Definitely made the experience all the better.

Staff was exceptional and accommodated all requests. Bilingual which is extra helpful considering my French isn't quite there.

Wonderful neighbor that is walking distance to the metro and the Eiffel Tower. Nearby shops and restaurants make the Paris stay more authentic.

Would recommend to anyone staying in Paris and will certainly be back.

A very disappointing hotel really. This was a very bad honey moon idea.. Firstly, there was a lot of dust causing asthma attack and lots off sneezing.
There is ongoing road work/ some sort of building construction right next to the hotel.
Secondly the air conditioning would make lots of noise and bring lots of dust so my husband and I decided to open the window and boy did we suffer for it... we were bitten by mosquitoes in places such as my face jaw, hands/ arm, back and I am still suffering from the bites and getting tested soon in case the mosquitoes carried some viruses or something.

Thirdly the breakfast provided at the hotel is the same everyday and I was bored of it so we ate out some days for breakfast even though we had breakfast paid for during the hotel booking

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone... it sound horrible however, its the truth ..

Amusing Marilyn Monroe overload

Very interesting room - over the top Marilyn Monroe theme that I was not expecting; room and service were all good; shape of the room was a bit unusual, with an unnecessary wall and door; a bit cramped getting in and out of the bathroom, but comfortable nevertheless; Wifi did not work well. Location was amazing - next to Beaugrenelle mall (with restaurants) and walking distance to lots of things, including the Eiffel Tower (about 1.5km). Close to Metro station.

I went to Paris for my birthday, this hotel was suuuuper cute but also very very small. We stayed in the biggest room on our floor apparently but even then it was still tiny. The bathroom is super night, rainfall shower head and a hand shower head for options. They reup your toiletries every day. If you want to book a massage, you have to book 3 hours ahead. I wish that was written somewhere. The shower though will get water EVERYWHERE. There is nothing to stop the water from splashing out of under the door. Other than that. Everything is walking or train distance. I'd stay again, just alone.

Surprisingly pleasant! Lovely welcome from the hotel staff who were very accommodating as I arrived well before check-in time. Contemporary and well-planned interior and I loved the Marilyn Monroe and Hollywood decor and themeing - especially on the wall and ceiling in my room!! I loved my \"glam\" shower room.

A stylish oasis of calm in a very nice part of a busy city.

Broadband speeds were great for all computer usage including streaming.

I would definitely book again and happily recommend it to anyone.

Best Hotel for Le Cordon Bleu!

I stayed at this hotel with a group of friends in order to attend a course at Le Cordon Bleu academy--on the same block! The location was extremely convenient to Le Cordon Bleu, the river, and the miniature Statue of Liberty. It was also not far from the Eiffel Tower, which you could see from Le Cordon Bleu! Roughly a block from a metro stop and less than two kilometers walk to the Eiffel Tower! The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was tasty, and the room was great! I would definitely stay here again!!

Cozy hotel for those enamored of Marilyn Monroe

Very pleasant small hotel. Fitness center is good but bare bones, with only a low-end elliptical trainer, a decent rowing machine, weight bench, and roman-chair/pullup frame. Rooms are lovely but tiny. Beds are too soft. Breakfast is great, but for 18 euros, it should be. Decor is amusing, but just a little too much Marilyn, perhaps.

I wrote a review several months ago about how much I LOVE this hotel - the spectacular rooms, the delicious round beds, the adorable lobby and breakfast room, the lovely spa, the terrific location, the fantastic bathrooms (really!), the hilarious and cool Marilyn Monroe theme, the delightful pens in the shape of lipstick (yep - it’s hard to tell the difference!), and the absolutely wonderful staff. This is, without question, my favorite hotel in France (and I’ve stayed in many!). However I’m writing this additional review because, when I recently stayed there, the amazing staff immediately recognized me from my previous stay months ago!!! So cool!! Also, unlike every other hotel I’ve stayed at worldwide, they honored a coupon that the hotel had emailed me for a room upgrade/free breakfast. The reason I highlight this is that every other hotel I’ve ever stayed at refuses to honor their own coupons if I book through Expedia or any other third-party site. I just love this hotel!!!

We loved our stay in the platine hotel was a wonderful location, hotel design was amazing and staff were so helpful, the bed we had was amazing so comfy and big! We stay in superior room which was the perfect for us, i would stay that the bathroom has a clear glass door so you can see other person showering not a problem for us but might be for others. We spoke to another couple who booked classic room and said was too small so I would recommend going for superior, we didn’t have breakfast there but the dining area looked amazing. I have nothing it good things to say about our stay will definitely be returning to this hotel next time I go to Paris!

The hotel is in a good location however it's super small. I would describe it as an upgraded version of a motel. They don't have any stores inside, no vending machines either. Everything in the area closes super early. I wish I did more research before booking it.

Perfect hotel for a short holiday! The design is exciting. Rooms are cozy. It's next to a huge shopping center, lots of French cafes, walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, 1 minute from a Metro station. The tastiest room service meals you'd ever had and an amazing breakfast!

Lovely hotel & location.

Lovely room & hotel, great location close to Charles Michels metro station. Our room had an out door area with table & chairs. I saw the pictures of the hotel on the website, & was not disappointed; hope to stay again.

wonderful hotel close to the everything.

I recommend staying here. Quiet, clean, chic. My ONLY gripe was the food. I ordered room service on 2 occasions, breakfast and dinner. My scrambled eggs were awful and didn't look 'just cooked' and my hamburger & fries were cold! Apparently, they've never had complaints about their food so maybe it was just me?! 4/5 stars.

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff and fab location

Stayed in a standard double room which was lovely!! Especially the shower!! Staff were so friendly and helpful with us! The location is perfect, a 1 minute walk to the massive shopping centre and a 10 min walk to the Effiel tower! Hotel is surrounded by restaurants and a supermarket is up the road! Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and go back! Had such a great time.
