Our stay at the Montcalm Piccadilly Townhouse, London West End was nothing short of exceptional.

We decided at the last minute to stay in London after enjoying a theatre show to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and choosing this hotel turned out to be one of the best decisions we could have made.

From the moment we mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, the team went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. Entering our room to find beautiful rose petals on the bed, complimentary Prosecco, and a fresh fruit platter was such a thoughtful surprise and made us feel incredibly special.

What really sets this hotel apart, however, is its people. The front-of-house team were absolutely outstanding. A special thank you to Aura, Doina, Tilly, Josh, Wiki, Bohdana, Fida and Zafar, who all played a part in making us feel genuinely welcomed and valued throughout our stay. Their warmth, professionalism, attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile were remarkable.

Every interaction was met with a smile, and nothing was too much trouble. We felt thoroughly spoilt from start to finish and left with wonderful memories of a very special occasion.

The Montcalm Piccadilly Townhouse has now become our favourite hotel in London, and we will most definitely be returning on our next weekend away. Thank you to the entire team for helping make our 30th wedding anniversary one we will never forget.

Lovely check in experience. Great staff. Gym small and limited, club lounge not open currently. Receptionist kindly comp’d breakfast in the next door coffee shop to make amends. Couldn’t fault the staff. Pretty noisy at night (traffic in the west end in the early hours - who knew!)

What a perfect place to stay if you are a theater goer. Everything about this boutique hotel is excellent! Be aware that the room described by Hotels.com isn't exactly the same as the hotels description. We found ourselves in what Hotels describes as a \"Deluxe\" as the equivalent of a \"Double\" room at the hotel. The bed in a double room is a full size bed and not a queen size bed as described by Hotels.com. The staff at the hotel were able to upgrade our room upon availability.

Unfortunately the room we had booked in Piccadilly was unavailable because of a maintenance issue. This was disappointing, as we had chosen the location to be close to our friends hotel and the theatre. However, Wiktoria was able to relocate us to the Finsbury Square Hotel, which although further from our friends, was a lovely hotel. We understand sometimes things breakdown, and I thought the team at the Piccadilly dealt with it professionally, considering it was a very busy weekend.

Really good central location and nice clean room. We stayed in the Junior suite which was plenty big enough for us with two double beds.
Small issues were there was not much tea/coffee available and one tiny biscuit. Slightly disappointing for the size of the room.
On checking out, I assumed breakfast would be included in the room and enquired about this. (It does say breakfast is included as standard with junior suite on their website)

The staff said it isn't included as we booked with Expedia and not direct with them. On questioning this several times, it was decided by the staff that we would not get breakfast included which is disappointing given that we stayed in the suite.

On the whole, nice room, very good location just a shame on the available amenities in the room and not getting the included breakfast as it suggests on their website.

What we liked was a warm welcome and having responded to my Expedia chat when we were arriving and would also like to use an iron, our room was ready with iron in situ. A glass of prosecco, fruit but most of all a spotless room, which is very important to us, comfy bed and lovely coffee pods for the morning. A lovely stay for our theatre trip and would definitely stay again.

Arrived to a very helpful staff. Everyone was lovely especially Tilly. The room was spotless and the complimentary fruit and water was very much appreciated. A lovely big room which accommodated my wheelchair easily. Although it looked onto the main road the room was very quiet and we had a good nights sleep. The location couldn’t be better. Within walking distance of theatres, pubs, restaurants and China Town right across the street. Would not hesitate to go back.

We stayed for a couple of nights early April. The room was pleasant, good size for central London and nice and clean. Great location and was nice & quiet. Oh and the beds were sooooo comfy! But overall the best thing was the staff. They were fantastic. Super friendly and welcoming, initially asking upon check in what brought us to London. We told them we were there for the Lionesses game at Wembley. The day after when we were heading out for breakfast, the gentleman on reception asked ‘how was the game ladies.’ Such a small gesture, but so appreciated. Very nice touch. Will definitely look to stay here again when we come back to London. Thank you guys.

We have just returned from the most fabulous London stay! We booked here due to the close proximity of Ronnie Scott’s jazz club, which was the purpose of our visit in celebration of our anniversary.
The staff, in particular Joshua, could not have been more helpful. We felt really well looked after and the personal customer service was way above anywhere else we have stayed.
Our room was beautifully decorated whilst we were out with hearts and rose petals and a celebratory bottle of Prosecco.
The room was lovely, especially the shower and the bed was really comfortable.
The location of the hotel was perfect with everything being close to hand.
All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming towards us and we were able to leave our luggage. We even managed to get checked in when we went to drop off our case before check in time!
We had such a relaxing, enjoyable break - the only slight disappointment was the spa being closed for renovating, but we plan to return in the summer so will try it then.
Thanks everyone and keep up the wonderful customer service! Can’t wait to return!

My son and I had a wonderful stay, he is 4 and has lots of energy. The staff were very accommodating and always available if we needed anything. I also use a wheelchair and the staff were always available to assist with holding the door and getting my chair inside or outside.
We loved the location, I felt like everything was so close by. Coffee shops, grocery store, China town, lots of restaurants and theaters and of course public transportation.
Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed one night as we were in London for a Birthday celebration. Hotel in wonderful position for theatres, lovely just walking a couple of minutes to restaurant for pre theatre meal then back from Les Mis after show.
Reception staff are exceptional, a warm welcome with a glass of Prosecco and a quick check in. We were upgraded to a lovely room, at the front of hotel but no issues with road noise.
Room was clean and comfortable and had everything we could need and lots of extra touches.
At present there is no restaurant for breakfast, this wasn’t an issue for us as so many nice places nearby to choose from. We went into Covent Garden for breakfast at Dishoom.
Will definitely choose this hotel for our next stay.

The staff were absolutely lovely. The room was in great condition but the shower was disappointing, water trickled out with no power. Hotel is in an excellent location, but a caveat to that is the noise from Shaftesbury Avenue is very loud until all hours of the night, not for light sleepers!

Hotel and room was clean. Staff were nice and tried to be helpful. Biggest note about this hotel is that we booked a queen room. When we got into our room it was a double. Apparently they don’t have queen beds as stated in the Expedia room details. We stayed here 3 days before and after another part of our trip. The front desk staff and manager after the first part of our stay re the size of bed made it sound like they were going to do something when returned at the end of our trip. We got a slightly smaller room with no tub and still a double bed. We may have considered upgrading had they offered that to us but they did not. On a main street and street noise can be quite loud and we were on the 5th and then 4th floors. Location is great but there is no room out front for hotel drop off or pickup.
