Very impressed with the whole experience of staying at The Kraft Hotel! All staff kind, helpful and polite. Lovely room attractively furnished and having a balcony was a lovely bonus. Ideally situated approx 10mins walk to the city and its many attractions with bus stop also nearby. Various restaurants on the doorstop at good prices. Rooftop pool and patio area afford breathtaking views across the city Small gym and sauna also available. We were bed and breakfast basis and were delighted at the choices available. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel!

I am so glad we chose Hotel Kraft for our stay in Florence. It's about a 10 minute walk from Santa Maria Novella Train Station and the Alamanni tram stop that takes you to Villa Costanza bus terminal.
The room was very nice, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were comfortable and allowed us to have a restful night of sleep. We especially enjoyed the view and fresh air from our balcony.
During our stay, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet and the most wonderful and attentive staff. It was the best way to start the day! We also had a nice dinner at the hotel restaurant and the staff was also very attentive and pleasant. Overall, Hotel Kraft was definitely the best choice for my family and we can't wait to return to Florence and stay here again. Thank you Hotel Kraft staff or making our stay in Florence such a wonderful experience!

The restaurant and bar staff were charming and efficient. Drinks and breakfast were lovely.

The pool was fantastic and relaxing after a days sightseeing with fantastic views over Florence.

Our room was very clean. Very comfy bed and no noise to be heard at night.

Wonderful hotel in great location

Room was very spacious. Bathroom was huge with tub and shower. Balcony was excellent and the street was quiet, a rare thing in that part of Florence. Rooftop restaurant and bar have great views. We enjoyed the bar and the staff in the bar are great. Giving snacks with our drinks was top notch.

Breakfast had lots of options and got us through much of the day.

Hotel is a 20 minute walk to the train and to all the major sites. Lots of restaurants to choose from close by.

We have recommended this Hotel to many friends for we agree it is a jewel in the crown of Florences hospitality.
A pure delight to eat breakfast on the roof terrace in the morning sun in October... or a glass of vino in the warm evening... excellent in all ways that matter

Lovely and friendly staff. Clean room , bathroom, it was very nice we were given bathrobes and slippers.
Noticed, at times, unpleasant smell from the bathroom area. Shower would benefit from straight surface to hold soap/ body wash as it is slanted so all slides down. Really lovely roof top with plenty of sunshine and amazing views. WiFi only reach half of rhe pool area ( important to foreigners) .

The restaurant is on the fifth floor it was beautiful. You can see the whole city. The breakfast options are fantastic. Diners were some of the best food we had in Florence. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is a great place and we will use it again.

I switched hotels at the last minute due to 100 degree heat and wanting a pool. The rooftop pool here is worth it for the views alone. Our room was ample; the front office staff were so friendly; and my son was able to play on the grand piano in the lobby. Excellent shower!

The hotel was lovely and we enjoyed the amazing views from the rooftop pool and garden terrace. The staff were all friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately, our room was not a good standard as we were at the bottom next to the street. Apart from the noise, the main problem for me was the street light flooded into our room as the curtains were not big enough to cover the window and there wasn’t a shutter - I didn’t sleep well at all.

This was our family's 4th stay at this property. Great view from the rooftop deck, excellent rooms, staff is extremely attentive. Excellent location just off the Arno River near the US Consulate which is one block away.
Located in a quiet section of the city, but within an easy walk to all, Uffizi, Boboli, Pitti Palace, Il Duomo, leather market, Central Market and Santa Maria Train Station.

Look forward to our next return to Florence and the Kraft.

Very pleasant hotel. Slightly outside the city centre, but it’s only a few minutes’ walk from the station, the river and Santa Maria Novella. The surrounding streets are mostly quiet residential with hardly any traffic.

Hotel Kraft sits on the SW edge of Firenze north of the Arno in a very quaint neighborhood. The staff are verybwelcoming and polite and have helped several times making arrangements on our behalf. The rooms are spacious by European standards but the walls can be a little thin, so ask the staff to keep boisterous guests quiet. While we didnt have a chance to dine in,the rooftop has amazing views of the city. For those who have plans to stage out to thr coubtrysidr, the majority of car rental offices are nearby as are their storage garages making walking to and from very easy for adventuring out into Tuscany. Likewise a very easy 12 minute walk from the train station with 1-2 pieces of luggage. Great place!

This is the 3rd time I've stayed at Hotel Kraft over the last 10 years. I appreciate many aspects to the hotel. I did think the breakfast wasn't as fresh and good as it was in the past, and I wish the was more accessible with a gradual walk in, as I was unable to use it. Hotel Kraft is an excellent place to stay in Florence. It’s ideal for anyone looking for a quieter stay, a bit removed from the bigger attractions in the city.

Pros:
- Clean and well kept rooms
- Roof top restaurant for all meals
- Quiet location removed from the heavy tourist attractions
- High quality breakfast

Cons:
- Our double bed was two twins smashed together
- Not much of a view even with a balcony room

The staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful during our stay. Due to national train strikes, our train to Pisa was cancelled. The hotel staff took time to find alternative options for us. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. The rooftop area was very peaceful and offers great views across the city.

We loved this hotel! It was beautiful decor, friendly staff, great breakfast and awesome pool with views! Our family of 4 stayed in a quadruple room, it was spacious and had nice storage options. There was a king bed and two twin beds in our room with a balcony. The location was a 15 min walk from train station and 15 min walk to main tourist areas. It was lovely to leave busy tourist section and head back to relax at the quiet hotel during the trip. If we visit Florence again, we'll definitely stay here!

Hotel Kraft was the perfect place for us to stay in Florence. Our room was modern, quiet and very clean and the air con a welcome relief due to the extremely hot temperatures. Their pool on the rooftop gave us a chance to cool down and refresh and the views of the city are absolutely stunning. We had dinner one night at the rooftop restaurant and the food was disappointingly average. The staff in general were very nice and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel and in Florence. We would stay at Hotel Kraft again the next time we are in Florence.

Hotel stay was amazing. Has an amazing pool with a gorgeous view of Florence. Hotel staff were outstanding, gave us amazing suggestions for activities to do and restaurants to eat at. Also helped us get a last minute cab to get to catch our train just in time! For sure coming back to stay at the Hotel Kraft the next time we're in Florence and would suggest everyone to stay here!

Absolutely beautiful hotel and room is larger than most in Europe with lots of classic features and a large bathroom. Only gripe is that the pillows are too soft but overall, i would recommend and although it is not directly in the centre of Florence, it is a 10/15 minute scenic walk along the river in a very quiet area. Staff were amazing and lovely bar.

We loved Hotel Kraft! My friend and I came to stay for three nights and have said if we were to come again, we would certainly stay here. The staff are so warm, welcoming and helpful. The room was amazing, beautiful balcony, great room amenities 10/10. Loved the rooftop pool which was warm and a dip after a day of walking was much appreciated. Wonderful views of Florence from the rooftop pool and the bar. It was very easy to walk everywhere from the hotel, attractions are around 20 minutes away. We would highly recommend!

The staff is extremely rude and not helpful. Asked a question and the front desk told me to just look at the tour pamphlets, asked about air conditioning and I was told “it is what it is”, & was charged 16 euros for one can of sprite (split for 2 kids). It’s unfortunate because the hotel rooms are nice. Would not recommend if customer service is important for your stay.
