The area was very safe, as a middle aged mom with her 18 year old son. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean and cute. Convention is a great neighbourhood and it’s a short walk to the metro. For a few nights there was a dog barking for several hours at night but it may have been a neighbour. It was nothing that couldn’t be drowned out with a podcast to fall asleep to. We don’t normally eat breakfast but with all of the extra walking we really needed to and there are a great variety of options. The man taking care of the breakfast area during the week is really great. I would stay here again.

Lovely stay at Chouette Hotel

Fantastic stay at Chouette hotel. Hotel is in a great location surrounded by delicious patisseries and restaurants with a well connected metro a 7 minute walk. Only a 40 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower which was lovely. Staff were super friendly and helpful and room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping were brilliant at replacing towels and cleaning. Would highly recommend as it is also a great price!

The property is great and has friendly staff, but Expedia is whom I’ve a problem with. I booked for myself and two kids only to find out upon arrival that I was booked for three adults. Also I had to pay tax which Expedia didn’t tell me nothing about. I give the hotel a 5 star, but I’m not sure what to rate Expedia yet.

This hotel is so beautiful, so exceptionally clean, and such comfortable rooms with the best ever mattress for sleeping, a fantastic room and shower room. The staff are so lovely, welcoming and accomodating. The welcome gift and message were hugely appreciated. Everything was so much better than expected during our stay here. We will definitely be back here. Thank you to everyone at Chouette Hotel for a wonderful stay here and for being so welcoming and such comfortable accommodation.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Room was a good size for families, especially for Paris. I only gave 4 stars for the property condition because on the day we left, the elevator broke down and we had to carry our suitcases from the top floor! They did send someone to help us in the end. I guess that is not to be unexpected in Paris!

Hotel Chouette is very clean and located in a more residential neighbourhood. We loved the quiet streets, restaurants and shops. We were able to walk to thw eiffel tower in approx 35 minutes from this hotel. The staff is the best...friendly and kind. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

A cozy hotel in the 15th district

A cozy and well managed hotel in the quiet area of Paris. Good breakfasts. A very comfortable bed. Nice staff. Many places around to eat and small shops and a big bookstore, and a big food market on Sundays. Close to the Expo. It was my second stay (in a simpler room this time, on the last floor) but I’m ok to be back next time.

The Hotel was clean and not too noisy. However there was no wardrobe in the room, which was inconvenient for three people. The hotel states it is a thirty minute walk to the Eiffel Tower but it is further than that. The area was very average.

Our room on the 6th floor was quite clean (we did not find any bed bugs). Noise isolation was average (could hear wind, rain, and neighbours). The location was on average 30 min away from any sightseeing/touristic sight, which is quite far and meant that we spent losts of time&money commuting. Would not recommend if you are coming to Paris for tourism. Did not try breakfast, but the room had complimentary instance coffee, tea and water which we appreciated.

I read many of the Expedia reviews from others who raved about how much they loved this hotel and I will add my name to the list. We had a family room with 4 people. It was spacious with beautiful faux balcony windows looking onto a lovely Parisian neighbourhood street. The pullout was very comfortable for my two teens as well as the main queen. Hotel has 2 hair dryers. Don’t bring one like we did! Front desk staff are kind and helpful. We used the safe at the front desk, ordered Ubers, and asked many directions. It was a very good experience at the Chouette and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. It’s a very easy 5 ish minute walk from the metro to the Chouette and if you are lucky the street venders will have the beautiful food stall market while you are there. We stayed 3 nights and experienced it one of the days. I loved being out of the tourist hustle and bustle and getting a feel for a more true Parisian life walking the neighbourhood streets. It was lovely!

Enjoyed staying in this residential neighbour hood. Most days we bought the daily metro and moved around the city and all the sights with ease. Hotel room was old city normal in size (which means small) but it was clean and the beds gave us a fantastic sleep. Good clean bathroom with a great shower. 😀. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is charming, staff was fantastic! Short uber or metro ride to pretty much everything you want to see in Paris without the tourist prices. There is a sidewalk market every Sunday, Tuesdaya nd Thursday steps from the hotel entrance. Its fantastic!

This hotel was selected as room was advertised with air conditioning. Once checked in, we found out that A/C was not yet switched on as it is seasonal so we needed to “sleep” in a warm and extremely loud room dealing with traffic noise. Rooms need to be advertised truthfully as we would not have selected this hotel if we knew there would be no A/C. Other than that, the hotel was fine.

The Chouette Hotel was conveniently located close to the metro and several bus routes. The hotel was clean, safe and the staff was very courteous. It’s in a more residential area and about a 30 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. Lots of nice restaurants and yummy bakeries close by. Only thing that the room was missing was a dresser as there was only a small area to hang clothes, and I had to keep everything else in my suitcase during my stay. Overall, would recommend this hotel!

I was looking for a good value one-night stay within walking distance of the Porte de Versailles exhibition area and chose the Chouette from customer reviews. It is indeed a good value choice; and the design of the rooms and management of the hotel are excellent. The interior has charm without being overdone. Inside the bedroom and bathroom there were several practical, useful design features. Breakfast (included on my tariff) was also above expectations.

I loved the Chouette!! They were super friendly right from the get go, with excellent service and no problem with answering my many questions. I even lost my bag on the flight over and they were super attentive in watching out for it to come, and notifying me when it came in. The breakfast was awesome and I loved the owl theme!!
It's in an awesome location, close to lots of things, and you can tell that this place it is ran with love and attention.

When we went to our next hotel we often said, I miss the Chouette!

This location is a good walk from the main attraction and wasn't great walking a lot with an almost teen. The room was very small for three persons. For the cost, it was not what I expected. It was clean, the breakfast hearty but it was adequate and not as nice as the pictures show.

Amazing experience. On a cost/benefit scale, this hotel is a real find. Modern rooms, fast internet, comfortable and clean, great showers! This hotel lived up to their reputation! It's truly a Chouette Hotel...This hotel has 24/7 staff and at our three night stay provided the customer service that you would expect at a Five star. All the staff that I spoke to was able to clearly speak and understand English.
Breakfast was included and definitely worth it. most hotels in Europe included or charge an additonal fee which was the route I took.

Chic, modern hotel in great location in Paris

Location is great - close to restaurants, bars, grocery store, hardware (when I was looking for new luggage locks), the metro, the taxi queue, and the bus stop going to the regional train that goes to Versailles is right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was amazing (best croissant in town). Room was clean and comfortable. There was even an elevator so I don't have to carry my luggage up flight of stairs. This is a great hotel, one I'll stay again.

Me and my hubby had a good experience at chouette. The staff was quite good. The room was very clean and the view from the room was also beautiful. The hotel is situated quite near to the bus stop and metro station. Quite easy to travel by train to reach the hotel if you are coming by eurostar or travelling by flight. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We arrived earlier than check in but were able to store our luggage, so that we could take advantage of touring prior to check in. The room was clean, and crisp. The shower was grand. The beds very firm and comfortable. Air conditioning worked great.

Can't Go Wrong with the Chouette Hotel

Family of three (adults) stayed at the Chouette for 4 nights in mid May 2018. The following are the top 5 reasons why I recommend this hotel:
1. Location - great all purpose neighborhood. 5 minute walk ty the 12 line Convention Metro station.
2. Comfortable room with a great rain shower.
3. Wonderful staff.
4. Great Value
I recommend this hotel with no reservations whatsoever. You can't go wrong.

Spent three nights there on a recent trip to Paris. Hotel staff were friendly and had good recommendations for where to eat. Located within a ten-minute walk to Metro station and close to many restaurants. On Sunday mornings a farmer's market sets up on the streets outside the hotel. Charming but keep your window closed in the early morning hours while they are setting up.

I chose this hotel purely due to the fact it was only a 15 minute walk to the expo centre, where I was working for the three days. It’s a lovely small hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. The local area was vibrant, with an excellent street market and some lovely shops. Will certainly stay there again!

Reasonable hotel for the price. Main downside was the noise from other guests. Walls must be very thin as loud conversation could be heard into the early hours. The noise of people taking showers after midnight was terrible. We had two rooms on different floors and above comments apply to both.

Excellent hotel. Small boutique hotel in a great location. Friendly helpful staff - in particular the young woman on reception who went out of her way to enable us to check in early. Hotel is situated in a great neighbourhood - lots of cafes, brasseries and bars. Street markets on Tuesday and Thursday. Close to a Metro, allowing easy access to the rest of Paris. Room is of an excellent standard. Wifi worked really well. Will definitely stay again.

The street where the hotel is located was really beautiful. Hotel was decorated beautiful owl paint and decorative trinket like its name. Convention metro station was 7 min walk from the hotel and Vaugirard metro station within 10min walk from the hotel. Also you can find market which is 2 mins away from the hotel. Elevator could be increases the waiting time a little, if you stay at the upper floors on the upper floors.When I entered the room I saw no wardrobe in the room, it disrupted my morale, but then I solved the problem using with small shelves and hangers. If you stay 3 or 4 nights most probably it will not problem. Having no fridge in the room can be a problem for some people. No water or soft drinks at the room, you can buy from near the reception or market. The cleanliness was good. Breakfast was nice. We stayed on 7 nights with our 9 years old son and we enjoyed.

We stayed in a suite which had a bedroom with a queen sized bed and a sofa bed in the other room. The bed was comfortable but the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Our first clue should have been when we saw it was already pulled out and ready to sleep on it. At first I thought it was thoughtful but after sleeping in it the first night, realized it was because they knew the sofa bed was broken. When we informed the front desk about it in the morning before going out to sight see, they said they'd take care of it. When we returned that night, they hadn't done anything about it. We had to ask again and they then told us it was broken and couldn't fix it. We had to have them remove the mattress from the sofa and partially put the frame back in. We slept on the mattress placed on the floor.

We asked for a discount but they simply denied it saying they couldn't because I'd booked online. Not sure why that was a problem but that's what the woman said. They couldn't even give us a credit.

Overall very happy.
2 things to mention: my room gave onto a busy street so opening the window was not really an option due to traffic noise.
The room was not the most spacious room but was comfortable and nicely decorated!
Very close to Metro station which is what I wanted. A good few bars/ brasseries and restaurants in the neighborhood.
The Park George Brassens is also very close for those who enjoy a walk or a run.
It was perfect for my stay. I liked the decor and for me that is important.

Awesome place!

Stay for 4 night. Good location in a nice safe niegborhood with shops and restaurants in the area. Train are close by and easy to figure out. highly recommend this hotel.
