Small rooms! This hotel is good for short term stays. Long is rough. No shelves in bathroom for toiletries, makeup etc. no shower shelves for shampoo and conditioner. No shampoo or conditioner provided. No washer available or close. Employees were friendly and cleaning room daily was good.

The manager was EXCELLENT at helping us problem-solve a couple minor issues initially. He was kind, courteous, and VERY helpful! Would recommend this to others. We could see the glow of the Eiffel Tower around the corner of the street- walkable or trains to everything. Thank you for making our stay much more memorable!

Good location with only a 5 minute walk to the Metro line. Had a Deluxe Double Room which was overall spacious. The shower was a good size but there was no counter space in the bathroom. The room had AC which was appreciated as there were some warm days. Room and common areas in the hotel were clean.

We enjoyed the location which was not too far from the major sites but it is also not in a touristy area so we got to eat where the locals eat.

The room was small but clean. I paid for two deluxe rooms and received a standard room. The air conditioning didn't work even one day. I asked for the air conditioning to be turned on, but they told me there was a system failure. At reception the air conditioning worked normally, but neither of the two rooms I paid for did the air conditioning work. The weather was hot, it was horrible sleeping there. The room does not have a minibar. They did not return part of the money paid for services they offered but did not fulfill the contract.

Excellent hotel location close to the metro and hotel has the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower which was great. The room we had was small but clean. Only gripe was there was no real welcome/orientation of the room/hotel e.g how the heaters worked, how to get hot drinking water, the fact that the phone in the room was not working - we had to work all for this out for ourselves.
Apart from that, an excellent choice due to location.

Nice staff, very unpleasant neighbors

The hotel is in a pretty nice area of Paris populated mainly by locals. Check-in went well. We went up to our room and immediately noticed our sink in our tiny bathroom (even by Paris standards) wasn't draining at all. Called the front desk and he himself came up to fix it with a little tool - and was very familiar with the issue, it seemed like it happened a lot. As soon as he left, my friend tried to take a shower and discovered the cover on the drain was closed and wouldn't open. We ended up prying it off and leaving it off for the rest of our trip. About 30 minutes after we got to our room, we heard VERY loud shouting from a man and woman from across the courtyard. It sounded like the man was hitting the woman and then she was screaming back at him. Soon their children also started crying. We called down to the front desk in concern for the woman and her children and were immediately told it wasn't a family staying at the hotel, but a local family that lives across the courtyard. Apparently it happens a lot. We heard the domestic fighting several times a day during our stay (whether our windows were opened or shut). People smoked a lot in the courtyard (both cigarettes and marijuana, which is illegal in France), so we couldn't ever have our window open and get fresh air.
Essentially, the hotel staff was great. The hotel was ok. The environment of the neighbors and chain smoking at all hours was not. Neither myself nor my friend would recommend staying here.

This place is unsafe and dangerous. Do not be a victim. Go to another hotel and save yourself. The staff manager is rude. The food sucks. The beds have bedbugs. We had to switch 3 rooms becuase there were leaks, dirty conditions and just something that runied our vacation.

Bath tub is very small and safety hazard. Hurt myself several times and could be fatal. Requested if they had any rooms with reasonable size shower area but was denied. Avoid booking in this hotel. Very disappointed.

Location is close to some attractions but if you want to stay in a smallest room in your life you go ahead and make reservation for this hotel. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed with in Paris. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

We stayed here for 1 night on a weekend break. We knew we would not be in the hotel that much brut needed somewhere to crash in the evening. Spacious clean rooms with nice en suite. Bed a bit unforgettable but then for the price this is really a steal to be staying in such a central location. Cannot fault it really!! Highly recommend for the price!

The hotel and room were both very quaint, in a good way. The hotel is tucked a little ways away from the hustle and bustle of mainstream Paris, which is great for sleeping but it does require transportation to get back to the tourist attractions or the nightlife. The breakfast was overpriced, but otherwise my stay was excellent!

Bathroom was smaller than in the Airplanes..

I have recently stayed 2 nights at this place. I felt so uncomfortable because bathroom was too small. Bath tub was Kids size. There as NO space between commode and Wash basin, So you cannot sit properly. Half of your body goes under the sink.
I will not stay at this place anymore or wouldn't recommend.
Pictures of Bathroom are misleading in the advert.
I requested them to change my room. I could do with smaller but how can they expect someone to fit in the tiny bathroom.

I felt uncomfortable during my stay. ( Anyone would do the same)

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at this hotel. It was conveniently located ( minutes away) to public transportation, and it was a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. The room is cozy, and has many amenities, such as air conditioning and cable/ Internet. The staff are friendly and very helpful! Great value for a great price!

Great hotel, great service.
We stayed a total of 4 nights but had to book the 1st night separately as we weren't sure what day we would be arriving in Paris. Before we arrived at the hotel they made sure we had the same room on the two different reservations so we wouldn't have to move rooms.
The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the nearest Metro station that takes you to all the major attractions in about 15 minutes.
And the hotel holds your luggage after checkout which is always a plus.

The hotel was close to lots of shops and restaurants, and easy access to the Tower, and transport to other attractions was brilliant. it was a great base.
Only wish they had a kettle and some tea and coffee in the room especially with our early start to the airport so a hot drink would have made so much difference.

The Aberotel is in a quiet street, minutes away (walking) from most stores and facilities you may need. A couple of metro and bus stations, few supermarkets, pharmacies and banks.
The room we got on the courtyard was small but clean and modern looking. The shower was very nice and clean but the exhaust fan wasn't working I believe, so it was hard to get the humidity out of the bathroom.

Lovely welcome from the manager who very kindly booked the restaurant we requested for the following evening and helped with some directions too., The room was very small, but comfortable and clean with enough storage for the two nights we were there. The bathroom, with it's excellent shower, was a wet room divided from the bedroom by a half frosted sliding glass door. So if you like your privacy in the bathroom this is not the hotel for you! Location was excellent, literally less than a 5 minute walk to the metro. Also found a couple of nice bars nearby for an early coffee and late nightcap. The hotel did serve breakfast, but we didn't try it. However our room was next door to it, so I did get woken up both mornings by the sound of clinking cups and the noise of the guests in the room above (not unusual for a hotel though). Overall we would definitely stay again and happily recommend it to anyone.

Cramped but immaculate

I had a business trip to Paris so I bought a ticket for my partner and a hotel room via Expedia in his name. We then rang Aberotel Montparnasse and explained we would be 2, not 1 guest. As I had paid for the largest most expensive room listed, I didn't see a difficulty in this. When we arrived, we had been given a \"single\" room which was barely larger than the bed. The bathroom was a tiled shower room with toilet and mini sink and separated from the bed by a single wall of partially frosted glass. Thank goodness we are a long-time couple. Any new couple on a romantic break would inevitably have had an embarrassing moment when needing to use the loo.
We complained and on the 2nd morning they gave us the option of another room which (unbelieveably!) was even smaller than the first, or FINALLY the room we had actually booked. Unfortunately, this room was right off the pavement so we couldn't have the window open at night because of noise, it hadn't been updated like the other room and while more spacious with a mini bath, had a mattress so uncomfortable we didn't sleep at all well.
The two positives of this place are it is immaculately clean and the staff speak English well and are polite. I would not ever consider staying here again, nor recommend it. Pay a bit more and stay in comfort.

Small room but good

The hotel is in a good location for what we wanted and only 5 minutes from 2 metro stations. The room is quite small but comfortable, the glass wall between the bathroom and bedroom may put some people off.
€10 for breakfast seems a bit much, but you can eat plenty. All staff were very helpful and most are fluent in English.
Would stay there again.

The sink in our room was right on top of the toilet which for a guy is not that bad but for a woman it is an inconvenience, the blow drier did not work, when we asked the front desk to fix they said they wouldn't. For a guy with short hair not a big deal but for a woman another inconvenience, they should at least keep a spare blow drier for when a built in unit breaks. I do have to say that the maid was great.

The best hidden gem in Paris.

I always stay there, Volontaire tube staion on the corner, best breakfast in Paris, owners and staff cannoit do enough for you. beautifully decorated and clean. Great restaurants and everything you need around the corner. 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Brilliant calm and comfortable stay. 10 out of 10!

Lovely little hotel

I have to say the room WAS tiny, but immaculately clean, as was the bathroom. Very comfy bed and high quality, well-ironed sheets - bliss.
There was only me in it, so it didn't really matter that it was small. No tea and coffee facilities in room, though, which I could have done with after a long journey - as I arrived about 11pm. Staff were friendly enough.
Hotel is in a gorgeous part of Paris, Montparnasse which is quite central, very near to the Metro and handy for everywhere.
The price was very, very competitive, I definitely got value for money and would use the hotel again. :-)

Great Hotel for a great price!

The hotel is in Paris's 15th district which is the more quieter sections of Paris. However it is near a major metro station which easily takes you to Paris's main attractions. The staff was friendly and spoke good English. The room was small but was very clean and modern. The best part was the bed was very firm and the room had good A/C. I would stay at this hotel again, because you can't beat it for the price.

Lovely Hotel, Great Location

We were given a room on the ground floor which was quite small and the bathroom even smaller so if you do want more space this should be indicated when booking but saying that the room was clean and the hotel staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful - the location of the hotel was perfect for what we wanted - we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit!!! Would recommend.

This was a nice hotel. I initially stayed in the 2 twin beds room for the first night and it was way to smal. The TV was located closer to the ceiling than the floor. I think it was around 6 feet of the floor. I requested a larger room with a single larger bed for the remained of my stay and was quickly accomodated. The staff was great and spoke french, english and spanish. Unfortunately, the breakfast area and courtyard was being remodeled during my stay so I can't really comment on this. Free WiFi, & air conditioned. The rooms are quiet. Plus my puppy stayed for an extra charge. The neighborhood is very quiet and is across from a community center which is not a problem. Overall, it was decent stay. I would stay there again.

Part of the hotel is under renovation, but from what was seen on picture, the rooms will look beautiful. Location is great, particularly if you are attending a conference at Porte de Versailles.

A small room as you would expect in Paris but very nice overlooking a lovely internal courtyard. Free internet and good airconditioning but you can open the windows too. Close, but not too close, to metro, SNCF and car hire. A good price when discounted; normally 130 Euro for a double.

Par ailleurs, ma demande de deuxième carte a donné lieu à un propos fort désagréable.
Je ne peux que blâmer cette attitude.

Not very clean

The hotel room was not very clean. I found a lot of hairs on the sheets but the cleaner who came to check seemed to say they came from the bedspread and my self when I took off the bedspread. The room was very dusty, specially in the corners/floor moldings which resulted in a stuffy nose which cleared when leaving the hotel. The desk in the room was so small it wasn't possible to use to work. The cleaning staff left the window open when cleaning and it stood open the whole day until I returned on the evening. The bedsheets were torn. One day the warm water stopped working and instead of informing me or apologizing they demanded to come into my room when I came back to the hotel to check. No question if it has ok or we apologize for the inconvience. Other then that the staff was friendly. Besides the open window the hotel felt safe although there is no place to be besides your small hotel room. The lounge area is always filled with staff and friends of staff and it felt uncomfortable even sitting there waiting.

Petit mais agréable

Au dela du fait que la chambre etait petite ( pas de surprise, la surface de xhambre est donnee dans le descriptif), il manque quelques supports pour mettre ses vetements tout simplement. Idem pour la salle de bain, un ou deux crochets pour suspendre ses serviettes seraient bienvenus. Sinon hôtel tres calme etnpersonnel.tres serviable et sympatique

다음에도 꼭 방문할 숙소

아주 친절한 서비스, 요청하는 무엇이든 들어주심. 이 가격에 이 컨디션으로 구할 수 있는곳은 파리 시내에 없을거라고 생각함. 도보15분 거리에 에펠탑을 볼 수 있다고 하셨지만 사실 쪼금 더 걸림. 숙소 화장실 살짝 좁지만 너무너무 깨끗하고 1층에도 화장실 있어 둘이 쓰기에도 무리가 없었음. 지하철 두 역이 매우매우 가깝고 도보로 걸어다니기에도 너무 좋은 숙소. 바로 앞에 자정까지 하는 작은 마트있고, 까르푸와 모노프릭스 있어 편함. 그 전에 최악의 숙소에 있다 와서 더욱 돋보였던 숙소. 파리에서 보기 드문 넓은 숙소. 매우 합리적인 가격까지.
