The hot tub was closed. The room does not come with a frig or a microwave. The shower did not have good water pressure and the toilet struggled every time we flushed it. The beds were comfy though. Check in for the horse shoe is in cactus petes so that was not my favorite either. Should have stayed at Cactus petes. I will know for next time.

Absolutely loved loved loved this hotel & it's vibe! Rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and all over just spacious & kept up in GREAT CONDITION BY STAFF!! The town itself has very little to offer but once you're a guest at this Resort you won't even be thinking of anything else! BTW, the hotel light's up beautifully at night, the pool & hot Tub are a for sure selling point, super fun!! ! I will def be back! Thank you for making our trip a blast!!

You get what you pay for. For the price, well worth it. But you are getting a dated 1990's has been casino in a dying town. Room was clean but showing its wear and tear. Lamp shades with damage, furniture getting a bit worn down. The bed and sheets/linens were good and we got a good nights sleep. Access to the tower was a bit obnoxious as you will be walking thru the casino floor with your luggage (didn't see any luggage carts). Prepare to smoke a pack of cigarettes regardless of if you smoke or not! On the positive side, the toilets were set at the proper height for little people. Or maybe they are just ahead of the curve and you don't need the squatty potty. After reading the reviews of the on-site restaurant, we chose to drive the 90 minutes into Elko for breakfast the next morning. Again, for a place to get a good nights rest at a reasonable price.....this is your place.

I would highly recommend staying at cactus Pete in Jackpot, Nevada! However, do not and I repeat do not use Hotels.com. I had troubles checking in only because of Hotels.com. The call center was absolutely less than helpful in fact hung up on me four times and never I repeat never resolved the issue that I had thank goodness for Ben the hotel manager at cactus Pete otherwise I would’ve been sleeping in the street because of Hotels.com.

I stayed at the complex across the street from the main casino. They did not mention in the reservation that you had to check in at the casino across the street. Went to the address and looked for the check in and there was a sign to check in across the street. So I drove over there. There is no staff at the complex at all! It is very outdated and run down. Very musty smelling combined with smoking! Carpets in the room and building are very dirty! The bathroom ceiling had brown moister spots all over and to top if off , from 12 am to around 3:30 am slamming doors from other rooms.

I did not like the room at the horseshoe hotel. It was dirty filling and the bed fell apart. Got upgraded to Catus Pete hotel and it was ok. However, the maid service wasn't good. They never took the used towels out and replaced them. I had to call and ask for them and then they never brought any wash rags. Very disappointed in it.

I didn’t know the casino was across the street. That’s my fault. I am in a wheelchair and had to wheel across the street every time I wanted to go to the casino. I tried to get a room in the casino, but it was impossible without a $250 charge extra and $15 per night amenity fee. It just sucked. The rooms were musty smelling, but clean. They were also pretty small and I had to keep my wheelchair outside because there wasn’t space and there were no wheelchair amenities. The staff was pleasant and quick to answer. That was a sweet thing.

There needs to be more attention paid to making potential guests aware there are 2 properties, one being across the highway. I would have been the only car on that side, so ended up parking on the casino side and walking across the highway to feel better about my vehicle. Asked the front desk if I could relocate to the casino side and was given a rate just short of $50 so declined. The interior stairs on the other side of the highway looked as if they hadn’t been vacuumed in months, and the floors on the 2nd level sounded as if they were going to collapse. Room was clean, but to call it dated is a large understatement. I understand you get what you pay for. This is my 3rd time staying here, first time shoved to the other side, will not stay again.

I explained to the clerk that my husband uses a walker and asked for a ground floor room. We were put on the 3rd floor but there was an elevator, however, if you climb the stairs to get to the front door there are 2 flights of stairs to go up to get to the elevator after you get inside. If you drive around to the back door, there are steps to go down from the parking lot to get to the door. This was not explained to us. The sign at the street is not lit and the property is hard to find unless you get good directions from the hotel desk at Cactus Pete's. The overall condition on the outside makes this look like an abandoned property. There were not a dozen cars in the parking lot and to walk the halls inside, it appeared no one was there. The price was reasonable and the room satisfactory but the overall feeling of the property was not good. We would not stay there again. I feel the clerk at Cactus Pete's could have explained the layout to us better than she did. When I mentioned the sign for the Horseshu Hotel was not lit, the clerk at Cactus Pete's said, oh yeah we need to get that fixed.

Great value hotel, stopped on our way thru Jackpot for a night and were pleasantly surprised. Food options were limited but it was a weekday and the option available offered a good variety of choices and reasonable prices. We even got a 50% off of first $20 spent at the resturant. ($10) Veterans get several nice perks at the Casino and staff showed genuine appreciation for our service. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Only minor complaint was that we had to drag our suitcase thru the casino but it wasn't too far. We will make every attempt to schedule our trips to stop here again.

The gentleman who checked us in was super nice, but missed providing us with details such as what floor our room was at, and where the elevators where at. I had to ask him. Our room was for the most part clean. The bathroom was the dirtiest. Hairs in the sink and toilet. Toilet also had some tinkle that was missed being cleaned. Good thing I always carry lysol wipes! Our shower also had some issues. When switching to shower mode, there was still a lot of water coming out of the tub faucet. Like a lot. Both shower head and tub faucet had some good pressure which was very odd, but was scared we would cause a flood with water coming out of the shower head and tub faucet becuase drainage was slow.

I know the cost was about half of Cactus Pete’s main hotel. I didn’t expect how run down and unmanaged this place would be. You have to check in across the street , no staff at all. The halls were smoke filled and just over all dirty. The hot tub was non existent. I would recommend paying more and staying at the main Cactus Pete’s.
