Staff was friendly but I was disappointed that I was charhed an additional $15 resort fee above the already higher cost to stay in the Tower Rooms. The older rooms do not incur this additional charge. I do not recall seeing this fee when booking on Expedia, unless I overlooked it. Other than that, the stay was excellent for our purposes.

My dog got goat heads all in her paws from walking around by the back parking lot. There was also a lot of other dog feces that wasn’t cleaned up. My room wasn’t cleaned. There was plastic baggies in the toilet? Not sure what that was for. The floors were not swept or mopped. The walls are very thin, you can hear every bump knock or whatever from the rooms next to you. The town itself could really use meal delivery services.

The rooms need more USB ports, especially when more than one person is staying in the room. The room was nice and adequately clean. The rooms you can smoke in did not smell like smoke. We don't smoke; we vape, which is an important distinction. We do not like the smell of cigarette smoke. The Desert Sand, if I remember the restaurant's name correctly, served excellent food at a reasonable price.
