Fairly large rooms . Very clean . The cleaning staff is friendly and efficient . Breakfast is great . The bemol is there is no AC in the room or any type of ventilation system so if you want to sleep the windows opened, itnis too noisy outside and windows closed you cannot breath . I’ve got to out at least ventilation system !

No AC. Staff said there was no AC this time of the year. It’s still quite warm in the room at night. Room was facing pedestrians and the little piece of fabric hiding the window wasn’t big enough, so pedestrians could look at you.

Pretty embarrassing show of hospitality - no wifi at this hotel, they made up some poor excuse for not having it. They advertise having wifi, which really made my time here while I was supposed to be working remote a huge inconvenience.

The room smelled of sweat upon entering, but it was clean. The air conditioning did not work, which was a major disappointment given the heat. Small details like a remote control with a thick crust of dirt and dust leave room for improvement.

Do not book unless you are desperate. The service is just plain bad. Still cannot believe they offered nothing, not even a real apology, in exchange for being without wifi. I'm not french, I don't have an internet plan on my phone for France. That part of all this just really left a bad taste in my mouth.

It was excellent! I would only recommend it anyone who likes to travel and enjoy Paris. Everything is so close. The shower is powerful , hotel is clean and the guys at reception are amazing! The lady was so kind at breakfast and we loved staying there . Thank you for making our stay fantastic!

i loved my stay at Hotel Apollon Montparnasse. there are available breakfast options, nice, quaint rooms, *extremely* comfortable beds, TVs, shower gel and shampoo in the showers, and a mini fridge filled with little snacks and drinks for €2. The hôtel is about a 2 minute walk to the closest metro station and about a 10-15 minute walk to Gare Montparnasse (so convient!). There are also some cute restaurants and cafés nearby for an early morning café and pastry.
the staff are all very friendly and available 24/7 :)
the only thing i noticed was how thin the walls were- i woke up a couple times throughout the night from hearing various people being loud in the hotel and sometimes could hear the people staying in the rooms beside me.
other than that, my stay was comfortable and pleasant, and I highly recommend a stay here if you’re in Paris. For an amazing price, you get quality rooms in a convient, safe area.
I’ll be recommending it to others for sure.

The room was not good, very very little like store room was transformed to the hotel room. May be not all from are like this but our was awful for this price. The noise from transformer or smth else opposite window woke up us around 7am in the morning. The idea is to leave key (card) at reception rather than take it may be good but I would like to have my own choise what to do with the key (card). Good is location + fridge.

The staff were helpful, friendly and cordial. You had restaurant, shopping and an active night life whether you wanted to go out or wanted to do something personal and intimate. Convenience and grocery stores nearby, as well as parks, central to lots of different things, including sites to see. There’s a lot of pluses to going and staying here the problem and telling everybody is that I will never be able to go there again, but I’m going to take that chance.

Let’s start with the fact that the pillows are amazing and the beds are comfortable. It was a good place to sleep and rest after long days in Paris. The property also fit our needs well in that the kids could have their own room right beside us with their own beds.
The kids room with the two beds was bright and airy with a lovely view and the bathroom was spacious and bright.
Our room was not as great. The bathroom smelt stale and housekeeping would leave the door open and the whole room would reek when we returned at the End of the day. This was unpleasant. In addition the stairwell needs a refresh with some new carpeting.
We loved how close it was to the metro and the neighbourhood was quiet and felt safe.

The staff was simply fabulous .., so helpful and friendly. The location was perfect ... a 2 min walk to the metro station of Pernety, w plenty of bakeries locally! The room size was a little small, typical of an older building in Paris, but it was really clean. Our only subtle complaint, which is not really a problem with the hotel ... the Paris sewage was a bit stinkie ... so put a wet hand towel over the shower drain, to keep the smell from entering the room. Thanks for a great visit!!

a stop between trains

Thiw was a one night stay between trains. we checked in mid evening and left mid morning. there were a few restaurants around but nor much really unless you used the metro to go into better known areas of town. the hotel was a typical compact Paris hotel with the breakfast room downstairs in the cellar. the breakfast was excellent with fresh coffee French style and fresh bread and Croissant.

the one poor thing here was the shower unit which was tiny.

I have no complaints. The wifi was spotty at times but the room was very clean, the multi-lingual staff was very firmer and helpful and the metro was just one block away. I didn’t have the breakfast so I can’t comment on that but I would definitely stay here again!

What an absolute pearl of a hotel!

Easy and cosy atmosphere, and fantastically friendly and helpful staff. Not a Ritz, but that’s a compliment, if you’re looking for a reasonably priced home-like hotel where everything is relaxed and not at all posh. The very warm welcome for exhausted travelers arriving late at night made us especially happy!

Fridge in the room, A/C for warmer days, and a warming system for colder ones, beautiful, spacious, modern and functional bathroom (i.e. a shower with a non-UK-style joke of a tap, so you really get the right mix of cold and warm water when you need it) with a huge French-style window, comfortable bed, more than enough power outlets (for once in a hotel room!), delicious French breakfast, great area with nice bistros and small shops, short walk to Montparnasse station, and a Metro station just around the corner.

What more could one possibly ask for?

Definitely ten points out of ten in our scale!

clean except for flies in the room

first thing we noticed there were flies in the room! we spent times swapping them during our short stay thank good it was short. first off, the front staff man didn't have a friendly demeanor. no greetings/smile and felt welcome to this hotel. after all we are patronizing your hotel, why not give us a friendly welcome? so check out time same man in the front; we reported about the flies in the room. He just laughed i was confused from being arrogant when we checked in and now he just laughed about the flies in the room? he made a lame excuse oh because when its hot you know the flies comes around? huh? it's spring and it wasn't that hot it's cold! he was trying to fool us we just left. No apologize, no thank you. nothing. I will not recommend and come back to this hotel due to arrogancy and flies. i'll spend my hard earn money somewhere else! the man wears glasses and a little chubby.

The hotel was very conveniently located to a Metro stop (r. Pernety), making it easy to access anything in Paris while staying in a quieter district. Though quiet, there was still a great deal to do. Several cafes right on the corner offer a variety of food and drink options. My room sat on the ground floor, and despite this, it was very quiet, even with activity on the street. (I even slept one night with the window open and was not disturbed by outside noise.)

The room is small by U.S. standards. This is not a complaint; just an observation for American travelers who may not have gone abroad before. Of course, the point is to go to Paris and NOT spend all your time in the room. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable.

Breakfast is available in the morning, and highly recommended - there was a good variety of items available, with friendly service, and the breakfast area is very quaint (it's like a stone cellar). The desk staff are very friendly, and available 24/7.

Near a train station, clean, and nice

I was coming from the train station (montparnass) and departing from the train station the next day.. I needed a place that was close to the train and easy to drop my bags and hit the ground running. This was a seven minute walk from the train station, and they allowed me early check in to drop my bags. I think they would have kept the bags if they didn't have my room available. Definitely recommend. The room was quite small, and the bed seemed smaller than a double bed, but it was just me so not a problem. There is AC and good WiFi.

Pleasant stay but check what you have booked

The hotel and room were clean and presentable. Don't get caught out on the breakfast like we were. We had booked without breakfask but could not remember whether we had done this when we arrived. We went for breakfast and we gave our room number without any issue so we assumed we had booked breakfast. When we checked out we were presented wil an additional bill for over 120 euros!
It is probably our fault for not checking but theyt did not confirm this upon our arrival either.

Better communication from the hotel would have helped

Second time we have stayed here and enjoyed it both times. Staff is helpful and the surrounding area feels like a local neighborhood with plenty of places to eat or enjoy a drink. Metro is a block away. Rooms are a bit small so don't expect to hang out there.

Hotel Apollon is relatively close to the train station, Gare Montparnasse in Paris. It is about a 15 -20 ..minute walk from the station. Be sure to double check your map, because it can be a little difficult to find if your map is not clear as it is on a side street off of a main thoroughfare. Once there, though, you will find a very nice hotel, clean and comfortable, though the rooms are still small by any American standard.

Overall I was very happy. The room was tiny, but that’s Paris for you. Had everything I needed for a short stay. Location near Montparnasse train station was convenient. I walked to the centre in around 45 minutes, but metro was close by. Breakfast was fine. Standard continental breakfast, but appreciated the large jug of black coffee to kick start my day. All in all, nothing bad to report. I would stay again but probably not with my family, just because of the lack of space in the room.

The hotel is a lovely property! Located just a block from the Pernety Metro. The rooms are small but well appointed and decorated. They provided a breakfast every morning. Charming Paris hotel

Our visit started by a very friendly and cheerful front desk attendant. He was excellent at giving tips for our trip, places to see and which train stations each was close to. He provided us with a local area map, and also provided us restaurant recommendations close to the hotel. The hotel is so convenient to the metro, only a block away. The room was small (but we were expecting this during our trip), but the room was excellent. Comfy bed and enough room for what was needed (to sleep and shower). Rooms were quiet and only heard some hallway noises in the mornings. Hotel provided secure luggage storage on our last day there so that we could enjoy the sights during the day without dragging our luggage all over Paris. Loved the hotel and the service received. Would definitely stay there again if in Paris.

Convenient for Montparnasse but some tiny rooms

Stayed for 1 night in mid-June. Had pre-booked a Double Room months in advance (just as well as the hotel was fully-booked) and requested a quiet room, so was a bit surprised to be given a ground floor room facing the street. As it was, the street wasn't especially noisy, but the room (no.2) is tiny for a double (judging by the floor plan, possibly the smallest in the hotel). It became stuffy and hot during a not particularly warm night. To make things worse the bed had a memory foam mattress (which some love, but I hate). I only managed to sleep after turning the air-con on in the middle of the night, but my partner slept well. Despite the smallness of the room, both it and the bathroom (with good shower) had been thoughtfully laid out.
Staff were friendly and professional and, although, typically for Paris, there was no hot food, the breakfast was good.

The hotel was fine to me, the room was small but it had everything I needed. My only concern were that the hotel requires to leave the room key(card) in the front desk while leaving the hotel, I understand it was for security reasons but that was a little uncomfortable for me to do that every time. Also the rooms should have more sound proof walls because it could hear EVERYTHING from my neighbors from both sides. Other than that it was a good stay plus the metro is less than 3 minutes walk.

We loved our stay in this hotel! The rooms were nice and newly renovated. Beds and bathrooms were great and hotel staff was very helpful. The hotel wasn’t in the best neighborhood in Paris but was a short distance to most attractions in the city. Overall great place to stay.

Too brief to say much but all amenities were available. Staff was very helpful. I liked my room it was small but well decorated, in great condition, close to banks, metro, a variety of stores and restaurants. I hope to stay longer and explore the very diverse neighborhood.

A very conveniently located hotel close to train station and metro. It is situated on a quiet street so we had very good sleep at night. The bathroom is clean and updated. Staff is very helpful. The room is a bit small but it is Paris.

Good Location, Close to metro and safe area

Nice but small rooms. Only 2 minutes from the metro stop which takes you right into the city, so the location was great.

Will definitely come back to this place!

Great for couples or really anyone 2 minutes from the metro that will take you everywhere. The concierge who checked us in at night was one of the lovilest people you can ever meet. He helped us with everything from letting us know from where the metro was and where the best place to eat. Only thing was the shower was a bit small but not to bad.
