The air conditioner in the room was broken. After changing rooms, the air conditioner was still not working. The bed sheets had blood stains and pubic hair on them. The front desk was very slow to respond — it took more than an hour without resolving anything. I’m an IHG Silver member, and I can’t imagine how other guests are treated if even a member gets ignored like this.

Was fine overall for a night. Rooms a bit scuffed up from people’s luggage. I asked for ice as my son hurt his knee and they said they would send some to our room, but it never came. Tons of construction outside the main entrance.

The computer was down on the day we leave, and therefore, we couldn't receive a copy of the receipt including the city tax paid. At the end, the amount shown on the credit card has a higher charged than what we were told. This has created annoyance and inconvenience in sorting it out. Otherwise, the rest of the hotel, especially its location is good.

If you are a family of 3 just know there is only a sofa bed the size of a twin mattress along with a good sized bed. Room is small, but what threw us off with the bathroom. It's as small as an airplane one, and it's odd that you come out then go into another room where shower and sink is available. It can be convenient if someone is showering that bathroom is still available, but the size was unfortunate. Also be extra specific to staff when ordering a taxi for you or just walk to the Pullman hotel that has a taxi rank outside, I specifically asked for a bigger taxi to take us to the airport since I had 3 large luggage and 3 carryons, but a Tesla showed up. I was upset at the staff member who ordered it, didn't tell me what agency and they scammed me out of more money. driver was mad he had to make everything fit, and charged me extra for luggage when it wasn't my fault or mistake, that was front desk's fault. I was afraid of speaking up because we were already on the road when driver used google translate to tell me he was charging me more, so language barrier was awful with front desk too because another family did get a van and had no problems.

Fun place to stay in Montparnasse.

Really great location for us. Comfortable and attractive, trendy decor.
We loved visiting the cemetery, seeing the graves of Baudelaire, Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir, plus eating in Rue Daguerre.

We had a very comfortable stay. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and and staff was friendly. One suggestion I would make is to offer early check in for your guests. That would be helpful, especially after long flights. Breakfast was delicious!!

The hotel was ok. The outside area needed to be cleaned up. Our room needed a few things fixed. The coffee pot leaked really bad. The magnifying mirror needed a battery and the window was the AC unit. All of these items were never addressed. Even after we told them everyday.

Very clean hotel. Our bed was so comfortable. The elevator is small but fits 3 adults with luggage comfortably. Very quiet room. We stayed in a room near the hotel and you couldnt hear it at all.
The breakfast was excellent each time we ate it. They have a bar and outside seating area that is private. Staff were so courteous.
The metro stop Gaite is just steps outside the hotel. The metro was easy to use. Great restaurants all around. We also walked the outside market on Saturday and bought our lunch there. Very fun!! Just the best location!! So many patisseries/boulangeries,restaurants and even a cinema close. My husband needed eye contact solution and the pharmacy was just a block away. This was such a great place to stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Family vacation, location is great- metro right outside the front door. Breakfast was good. Hotel looks like it’s going through some renovations. If you like an AC that actually cools this did not happen for us, luckily the window opened and helped to cool the room. “Refrigerator” is actually just a cooler and not great. Front desk were mostly nice and accommodating.
Room for 3 people is really small.

Incredible location, walkable to Eiffel Tower (mind you almost an hour walk but Europe = walking). Phenomenal breakfast, definitely worth adding on. Indianas restaurant right next door, great tacos. Would definitely recommend, the one con would be the bathroom - not bad honestly, but some mold spots on the ceiling and there was a sewage smell coming through the vents. Incredible staff

Great location and staff. Free water at front desk and bottles for room. They had plenty of spaces to sit and enjoy food in the building. Great cafe/bakery around the corner. Very walkable and safe, metro accessible. Room was medium sized however we were a group of 3 and were able to make it work. Only downside is toilet is in separate room from sink and shower!

Can not beat a location like this. Bus and Metro (Gaité, line 13) are literally on your doorstep. Gazillion of restaurants and cafés around you, no mentioning Gare Montparnasse a stone through away from the Hotel. Could not hope for better location. The hotel is clean and quiet, super friendly staff, and the rooms are modern, cozy, and chic. Do not hesitate to select this hotel for your Parisian trips, great value.

Great location. Very good service. The bed is comfy. The room is very quiet. There is a coffee maker and a fridge in the room. There is a bathtub in the bathroom.

Breakfast is very good for me even though I’ve read reviews where people said it didn’t have much offerings. There is always free fresh lemon water or similar fruit infused water in the lobby, very convenient when you just arrive and are thirsty from the journey. When I left the hotel to catch an early flight they offered me free warm croissant for the road. It was a very nice touch.

The location is very convenient, right next to the metro station for M13. There are many restaurants just steps away. The bakery at the corner (Paris Bakery and Co Gaite) is very good. Try the “traditional baguette”.

We had booked this hotel after reading many great reviews on the breakfast and the rooms. We landed at 2 am and when we got there our rooms were not ready. We had to wait for an hour or so for check in. The rooms have this stale stench and the bathroom is moldy and the shower leaks. RUDE staff and breakfast was a waste of money. Food was never refilled and we often went hungry at breakfast with little to no options available. Lou was the only helpful person in management.

I went to my room and noticed that air conditioner was not working ,when I asked for help,the young inexperienced lady in reception told me that I had to wait until morning cause they didn’t have any room available.I got so frustrated because after a long trip I needed a calm cool place to sleep,after discussing for a long time with another guy and asked to talk to the manager ,they ended up giving me another room and a free breakfast which was so good,if they welcomed me in a better way ,I would give five star to this hotel.

Nice clean property - easily walkable area

We were only here for one night upon arrival in France, with departure to Boredeaux in the morning. Chose this location due to easy access to the SNCF Montparnasse station (3 min away). Very clean property with friendly staff. Easy and safe to walk to dining in the area.

Just one mention, the bed protectors quality is really average which means that you sweat a lot over night and is does not match the quality of betting and mattress comfort.

I requested a full refund. The property stated they have no ac during this time only heat and we should be glad that our window open a little cause some rooms don’t. No where to charge our phone we wasn’t aware we needed a special charger and also they had no small wash cloths. Toilet had to be push several times before it will be flush. We never got no sleep. We sat in the lobby with the front desk staff who was rude and telling everybody about the air. I have pictures of us sitting in the lobby. I would never use Expedia again if I don’t get a refund

I’d stay here again. For the price point it’s great. Breakfast is good price with great selection. Room is basic but clean. Close to train stations and eating options. Arrived in Paris took the train for 1hr walked 5 minutes and got to hotel. Subway entrance outside with massive map. Overall loved the experience.

Typically, I enjoy staying at the Voco Hotel; however, when I showed up to my reservation and was told it was cancelled because Expedia did not credit card information and I was stuck trying to find a new hotel, during a heat wave, on the busiest week of the year, I was not so thrilled. Lesson learned, NEVER make hotel reservations through Expedia.

One of the worse hotels I’ve stayed in. I was given a room with no air conditioning, the room smelt horrible and it was dirty - stains on the floor and the pillowcases. The king bed wasn't a king bed but two double beds put together. Overall experience was very disappointing.

My partner and I booked to stay here for 2 nights. Upon arrival it was clean and staff were friendly. we were however changed €50 with no explanation, later to find out it was a deposit?
The room was smaller than an average hotel room. The weather was pretty cold as it is February and the heater took a long time to warm the room even a little bit so we found ourselves layering up and laying under the duvet for the majority of our time in the room. Our coffees were not replaced the next day. We did not use any of the other facilities.

The hotel is very conveniently located. It also is very stylish and beautiful and a plus is the outdoor terrace. My room was super small with a huge bed, which pretty much took up all space in the room. The bed was comfortable and overall the room very clean. I liked that there was an actual window in the bathroom. Did not have the breakfast there as I had to head out early

Great hotel in a centre of Montparnasse. Perfect for restaurants and public transportation. Luxembourg garden in a walking distance.
