Great location near (like 5 mins walk) from a couple of different metro lines. Good restaurant options nearby and a supermarket. Montparnasse cemetery is 5 mins walk if you want to pay your respects to Serge Gainsbourg, Simone de Beauvoir or Jean Paul Sartre. Staff in the hotel were always very friendly and helpful and the room wasn’t huge but we were out most of the time anyway. Would defo go back there again.

The hotel is in a great location. My room was at the front of the hotel which made it noisy unfortunately, I also had noisy neighbours on both sides of my room (not the hotels fault but very annoying) I didn’t have a full wardrobe, just hanging space for shirts not dresses which was annoying. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains were great blackouts, shame they didn’t block out the noise. Others in my group were at the back of the hotel which was fine.

A gem

What an absolute gem of a place to stay when in Paris! Everything at fingertips in the room, which was very comfortable and sparkling clean. Then out the door and a short stroll to many local cafés and restaurants, not to mention metro stations, bus stops parks etc. And the front desk was super helpful with all queries, ordering taxis and general all around niceness, including housekeeping staff. Would return in a geartbeat.

If you're looking for a very nice, classic hotel experience in the heart of Montparnasse, this is it. It doesn't have a sprawling lobby and numerous restaurants, if that's what you're looking for. But there are a ton of restaurants nearby and an outdoor seating area right next door. The staff was very nice and accommodating and upgraded me to a club room for free! There is a fantastic cheese and yogurt shop across the street and several grocers and boulangeries on the same block. One caveat: book a lower floor if you're claustrophobic. The elevator is tiny. Also, the hotel rooms in Paris are smaller in general so if you need a bigger room, be sure to do your homework to find a Parisian hotel that offers this.

We stayed here for two nights for a short break in Paris. It is very conveniently placed, close both to the Metro and also restaurants and cafes, and the area is safe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor of the hotel is very nice and our room was clean and pleasant, with a good bathroom. The room is perhaps a little on the small side, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to any couples or people travelling on their own.

Excellent comfortable bed, very cute neighborhood, very cute hotel. Even though street is small and quiet, it’s noisy in the night. The bar down the street had patrons out on the sidewalks partying until 5a. To note, it was Saturday night. We woke to loud singing in the street at 3a. It was charming and we enjoyed the experience hanging out the window and watching but don’t stay here if that will upset you. Then 6am street cleaners, and 7a garbage truck. We would stay here again.

First time to Paris and was presently surprised, read reviews on line before but the place delivered beyond my expectations. Very clean, very friendly and very patient and accommodating to me not knowing French. The property was great and in a fabulous area. Several 4 star restaurants within walking distance and they all were fabulous. Overall great stay and great trip, I’ll be back.

Good location but poor hotel

Location in Paris is good but the hotel is massively overpriced. The reception staff are rude and ignorant, when I complained to them about some of our issues, they just shrugged it off. The rooms are not cleaned particularly well, specifically dust everywhere, hairs in the shower and sink, it is clear that the rooms are not well cleaned. The rooms are advertised as sound proof but when you are in the room, you can hear everything that is going on in the hall way and in other rooms. Rooms are incredibly small and there is just about enough room for 2 people.

Our stay was overall pretty good. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and renovated. We paid for breakfast at the hotel and is well with the extra cost The rooms however are not sound proof anf the hotel is is located across the street from a loud bar. We were woken up several times from the street noice Friday and Saturday till 7am when the bar closes. Overall good place to stay in Paris.

One street off Montparnasse Blvd so within walking distance of the iconic restaurants of Montparnasse. Not an overly luxurious hotel but would stay here again. Breakfast was perfect, good coffee and hot selections as well as breads and cereals and fruits. Room was small but I have had smaller in Paris. Bed was comfortable and we are picky about that. Lots of nice cafes and small restaurants within easy walking distance. Not so much shopping and other sights but this is what Montparnasse is, a few of the “monument” restaurants, La Coupole, Le Dome etc and lots of movie theaters.

Excellent staff, so friendly and attentive. They were very accommodating to all requests. You could tell that the staff were all part of a small community and made all guests feel very at home. The hotel was very secure and I felt safe the entire time. The rooms were very clean, well kept, and the cleaning staff were all very kind and did a fantastic job each day! The rooms featured a lot for their somewhat compact space but had TV, mini fridge, loads of closet and hanger space, desk, chair, night stands. It was very up to date and modern. The bathroom was clean and very spacious. The rooms had lonely views of the street with a little balcony and huge double doors to air out room. The lobby and eating area were all so comfortable, clean, modern, and fancy. Location wise, it is right in the Montparnasse heart, near two major metro stops within 5 min walk from hotel, one street away best creperie in Paris (La Crêperie de Josselin), near one of my favorite boulangeries (LA PARISIENNE Odessa and favorite Artocarpus). Overall, I absolutely loved the stay, highly recommend, and definitely will be coming back to this hotel.

The rooms are typical for Paris, but the hotel has a certain class about it. The \"honesty bar\" downstairs is very convivial, breakfast is good also. There is no restaurant but the street has dozens.
Staff are very helpful - part of my stay I had to work nights and getting in and out of the hotel always caused a friendly greeting. More than that, I also fell ill and the staff arranged to keep my bags, room etc. while I was in emergency.

It is never easy selecting a hotel in a city with so many options at all price ranges and qualities. I narrowed my search by area and budget, then read through several revues, and selected Lenox. I was pleased with my choice as this hotel met and even surpassed my expectations. It seems to have been recently renovated as the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable as well as cozy. It is conveniently located near the metro and Montparnasse Train Station, and there are several shops and restaurants nearby. Taking advantage of the mild January weather, we picked up some cheeses, a baguette and salami along the street and walked over to Luxembourg Park for a wonderful picnic. I will definitely keep Lenox on the top of my list for hotels in Paris

I had an absolutely wonderful 5 nights at the Lenox Montparnasse! I am so glad I chose to stay here, as there are so many places nearby, but this was definitely the right choice. My “club room” was beautiful and so comfortable, plus I even had an awesome little balcony which I wasn’t expecting! Plenty of space in my opinion, and recently renovated and spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a great location. I really can’t say enough good things! I will definitely stay here if I am ever in Paris again. As a side note, a French colleague told me a popular was filmed at this hotel recently, which is very cool!

My husband and I stayed at the hotel at the end of October, and were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Lenox. The staff was very nice and helpful providing us with maps and directions to all places we wanted to visit. The hotel has been recently renovated and everything was very clean and new. We never had the breakfast but the breakfast area looked very nice and clean. The hotel area was safe and very close to the two metro stations nearby, there are a few business close by on the same street, where you can buy anything you need, and have a quick breakfast. Hope next time we visit Paris we can stay in the same hotel!

I have stayed at this hotel on at least 5 occasions and it never disappoints and this time was even better due to a major renovation. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The street the hotel is in has a patisserie, two supermarkets, a laundromat, a great Italian Restaurant and close to the Metro and buses and is within walking distance of many of the important attractions. When I go back to Paris I’ll stay there again.

Hotel Lenox Montparnasse was in an excellent location, close to great restaurants and stores. It was around the corner from the Metro, and if you were feeling like a walk, you could even walk to the Eiffel Tower!

The rooms at the hotel were clean and tidy, and everything seemed new.
The carpet was spotless, the bathroom was small but perfectly formed and so lovely and clean and bright.

I would certainly stay here again!

The room was fairly comfortable and had in-room tea and coffee, as well as a mini-fridge. The bathroom was clean and fairly large. Wifi was excellent. The windows were a little drafty, and because it looked out over a fire escape and adjacent hotel's courtyard, would occasionally get wafts of cigarette smoke. All things said, the hotel and customer service was excellent, aside from that of housekeeping. I became very ill on the fourth day of my trip and they would not stop harassing me to clean the room, even though the first time they came, I told them I wasn't feeling well and did not want service. This was incredibly disruptive as I was trying to get rest. After the fourth time, they called, and my husband (who had gotten back from a day of sightseeing) answered. They stated that I wouldn't let them clean the room! Like I was creating some sort of unreasonable work condition for them! He stated that I wasn't feeling well and we didn't need service, and that was that...

This hotel is in a perfect location.
Easy access to transportation, lots of restaurants, markets, shopping, entertainment...
The hotel has been recently refurbished.
The rooms are pleasant and well appointed.
The front desk is welcoming, courteous and efficient.
It is one of my favourite places to stay in Paris so I highly recommend it.

I chose this hotel because it’s within easy walking distance of Gare Montparnasse and allows check-in until midnight, and I was arriving at that train station at 23:00. The man at the front desk was very warm and welcoming, just what I needed at the end of a very long day. He helped me get a drink and snacks at the honor bar adjacent to the lobby. My room was fresh, clean, and nicely decorated, and the contemporary bath was sparkling. Although the Travelocity description stated that breakfast was included, the hotel said that breakfast was $10. When I researched this, it appeared to be an error in Travelocity’s description, as the hotel’s own website makes clear that no breakfast is included at the particular price-point. But there was coffee and tea in my room, and that was sufficient. I want to note that the cleaning staff deserves high recommendation. Not only was the room perfectly clean, but they hurried to the front desk to catch me before I checked out, as I had left an item in my room. Last, there are many restaurants, cafés, and bars in the area. Despite the crowds on a Saturday night, my room was wonderfully quiet. Overall: Highly Recommended.
